June 30, 2007 - the 4th month, 14th day
( There are no names for the 4th, 5th and and 6th months in scripture )
-------------------
Judaism calls this month "Tammuz" , not a good thing.
Ezek.8[ 14] Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz - ( pagan deity ) - a Sumerian deity of food or vegetation, a Phoenician deity
----------------------
--- The 4th month ---
2Kgs.25 [ 3] And on the ninth day of the fourth month the famine prevailed in the city, and there was no bread for the people of the land.
Jer.39 [2 ] And in the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, the ninth day of the month, the city was broken up .
Jer.52 [6 ] And in the fourth month, in the ninth day of the month, the famine was sore in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land.
Ezek.1 [1 ] Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

We read from law and the prophets
every Sabbath just like they did in the scriptures
60 times in the Gospels and letters it uses the word Sabbat
Acts.13 [13] Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.[14] But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.[15] And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.
Acts.15 [21]
For Moses of old time hath in every city them
that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
Luke.4 [16] And he, Yeshua / Jesus came to Nazareth , where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.[17] And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias.
Acts.13:27 For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.
Acts.13 [42] And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.
[44] And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

What are you bowing down to?
Tammuz - Sumerian deity of food or vegetation, a Phoenician deity ?
Baal-peor - Moabitish deity ?

Be careful you don't love something that is a abomination to the Lord

Just a few verses pertaining to the first and second Commandments
Exod. 20
the first Commandment
[1] And God
spake all these words, saying,
[2] I am the LORD thy God, which
have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
[3] Thou shalt have no other gods before
me.
the second Commandment
[4] Thou shalt
not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in
heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under
the earth:
[5]
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor
serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God,
visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth
generation of them that hate me;
[6] And shewing mercy unto thousands
of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
Exod. 23 [13 ] And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods , neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.
Deut. 5 [7 ] Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
Deut. 6[
12] Then beware lest thou forget
the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house
of bondage.
[13] Thou shalt fear the LORD
thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.
[14] Ye shall not go after other
gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;
[15] (For the LORD thy God is
a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against
thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.
Deut. 8 [19 ] And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.
Deut.11
[16
] Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and
ye turn aside, and serve other gods
, and worship them;[17
] And then the LORD's wrath be kindled against you, and he shut
up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit;
and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you.
Deut. 18 [20 ] But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
Deut.13
[1] If there
arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or
a wonder,
[2] And the sign or the wonder
come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods,
which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
[3] Thou shalt not hearken unto
the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God
proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart
and with all your soul.
[4] Ye shall walk after the
LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice,
and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
[5] And that prophet, or that
dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you
away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and
redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which
the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away
from the midst of thee.
[6] If thy brother, the son
of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy
friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go
and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
[7] Namely, of the gods of the
people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from
the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;
[8] Thou shalt not consent unto
him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt
thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:
[9] But thou shalt surely kill
him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards
the hand of all the people.
[10] And thou shalt stone him
with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the
LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of
bondage.
[11] And all Israel shall hear,
and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.
[12] If thou shalt hear say
in one of thy cities, which the LORD thy God hath given thee to dwell there,
saying,
[13] Certain men, the children
of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants
of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known;
[14] Then shalt thou inquire,
and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing
certain, that such abomination is wrought among you;
[15] Thou shalt surely smite
the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly,
and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.
[16] And thou shalt gather all
the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire
the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it
shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again.
[17] And there shall cleave
nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness
of his anger, and shew thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply
thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers;
[18] When thou shalt hearken
to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command
thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD thy God.
Exod. 23 [24 ] Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works : but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
Lev. 26 [1 ] Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.
[2] Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary:
I am the LORD.
[3]
If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;
[4] Then I will give you rain
in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the
field shall yield their fruit.
[5] And your threshing shall
reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and
ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.
[6] And I will give peace in
the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will
rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.
[7] And ye shall chase your
enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.
[8] And five of you shall chase
an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your
enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
[9] For I will have respect
unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant
with you.
[10] And ye shall eat old store,
and bring forth the old because of the new.
[11] And I will set my tabernacle
among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.
[12] And I will walk among you,
and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.
[13] I am the LORD your God,
which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their
bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.
[14] But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do
all these commandments ... read

Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer
Deut. 23 [3 ] An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever: [4] Because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.
Num. 22 [7 ] And the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the rewards of divination in their hand ; and they came unto Balaam, and spake unto him the words of Balak.
Num. 23 [23] Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel:
Num. 24 [1 ] And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantment s, but he set his face toward the wilderness.
2Pet. 2 [15 ] Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;[16 ] But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet .
Jude. 1 [11 ] Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
Rev. 2 [14 ] But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
ôÌúåø Pethor - BDB Definition: Pethor = soothsayer
Num.31 [1
] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[2] Avenge the children of Israel
of the Midianites: afterward shalt thou be gathered unto thy people.
[3] And Moses spake unto the
people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against
the Midianites, and avenge the LORD of Midian.
[4] Of every tribe a thousand,
throughout all the tribes of Israel, shall ye send to the war.
[5] So there were delivered
out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand
armed for war.
[6] And Moses sent them to the
war, a thousand of every tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest,
to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand.
[7] And they warred against
the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males.
[8] And they slew the kings
of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem,
and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian:
Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with
the sword...
Josh. 13 [22 ] Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer , did the children of Israel slay with the sword among them that were slain by them.
Baal-peor - Lord of Peor
Baal-peor - Lord of Peor - a Moabitish deity:
Peor, a gap, a mountain East of Jordan
House of Peor - Beth-Peor, a place East of the Jordan
Shittim, a place East of the Jordan
Num.25
[1] And
Israel
abode in Shittim, and the people
began to commit whoredom with the daughters
of Moab.
[2] And they called the people unto
the sacrifices of their gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their
gods.
[3] And Israel joined himself unto
Baal-peor: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel.
[4]
And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them
up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be
turned away from Israel.
[5] And Moses said unto the
judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baal-peor.
[6] And, behold,
one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren
a Midianitish woman
in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation
of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle
of the congregation.
[7] And
when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he
rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;
[8] And he went after the man
of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel,
and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children
of Israel.
[9] And those that died in the plague
were twenty and four thousand.
[10] And the
LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[11] Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron
the priest, hath turned my wrath
away from the children of Israel, while he was
zealous for my sake
among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.
[12] Wherefore say, Behold,
I give unto him my covenant of peace:
[13] And he shall have it, and
his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because
he was zealous for his God
, and made an atonement for the children of Israel.
[14] Now the
name of the Israelite that was slain, even that was slain with the Midianitish
woman, was Zimri, the son of Salu, a prince of a chief house among the Simeonites.
[15] And the name of the Midianitish
woman that was slain was Cozbi, the daughter of Zur; he was head over a people,
and of a chief house in Midian.
[16] And the
LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[17] Vex the Midianites, and
smite them:
[18] For they vex you with their wiles, wherewith
they have beguiled you in the matter
of Peor, and in the matter of Cozbi, the daughter of a prince of Midian, their
sister, which was slain in the day of the plague for Peor's sake.
2Cor. 10
[3
] For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
[4] (For
the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through
God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
[5] Casting down imaginations,
and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and
bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Messiah / Christ;
[6] And
having in a readiness
to revenge all disobedience, ( like
Phinehas, he was
zealous for his God )
Pss.106
[1] Praise ye
the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth
for ever.
[2] Who can utter the mighty
acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise?
[3] Blessed are they that keep
judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.
[4] Remember me, O LORD, with
the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
[5] That I may see the good
of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may
glory with thine inheritance.
[6] We have
sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.
[7] Our fathers understood not
thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but
provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
[8] Nevertheless he saved them
for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
[9] He rebuked the Red sea also,
and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
[10] And he saved them from
the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
[11] And the waters covered
their enemies: there was not one of them left.
[12] Then believed they his
words; they sang his praise.
[13] They soon forgat his works; they waited not for
his counsel:
[14]
But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.
[15] And he gave them their
request; but sent leanness into their soul.
[16] They envied Moses also
in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD.
[17] The earth opened and swallowed
up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
[18] And a fire was kindled
in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
[19] They made a calf in Horeb,
and worshipped the molten image.
[20] Thus they changed their
glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.
[21] They forgat God their saviour,
which had done great things in Egypt;
[22] Wondrous works in the land
of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.
[23] Therefore he said that
he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach,
to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.
[24] Yea, they despised the
pleasant land, they believed not his word:
[25] But murmured in their tents,
and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.
[26] Therefore he lifted up
his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:
[27] To overthrow their seed
also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.
[28] They joined themselves also unto
Baal-peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
[
29]
Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake
in upon them.
[30
] Then
stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment:
and so the plague was stayed.
[31
] And that was counted unto him for righteousness
unto all generations for evermore.
[32] They angered
him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their
sakes:
[33] Because they provoked his
spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.
[34] They did not destroy the
nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:
[35] But were mingled among
the heathen, and learned their works.
[36] And they served their idols:
which were a snare unto them.
[37] Yea, they sacrificed their
sons and their daughters unto devils,
[38] And shed innocent blood,
even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto
the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
[39] Thus were they defiled
with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
[40] Therefore was the wrath
of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
[41] And he gave them into the
hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.
[42] Their enemies also oppressed
them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand
[43] Many times
did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought
low for their iniquity.
[44] Nevertheless he regarded
their affliction, when he heard their cry:
[45] And he remembered for them
his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
[46] He made them also to be
pitied of all those that carried them captives.
[47] Save us, O LORD our God,
and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and
to triumph in thy praise.
[48] Blessed be the Lord God
of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen.
Praise ye the LORD.
Mic. 6 [5 ] O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD.
2Pet.2 [15 ] Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
Hos.9 [10] I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time: but they went to Baal-peor, and separated themselves unto that shame; and
[17] My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken
unto him: and they shall be wanderers
among the nations.
1 John. 5 [21] Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
