שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם
Today we use the Gregorian calendar (From Pope Gregory, from the 1500's)
Today is Jan. 18, 2025
January -- Janus's month
Middle English Januarie
Latin Januarius "of
Janus"
Janus is the Roman god of gates and doorways, depicted with two
faces looking in opposite directions.
Januarius had 29 days, until Julius when it became 31 days long.
Yehovah has His own calendar:
We are now in the 10th month, Teveth, day 17
Esth.2 [16] So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.
Today’s Topic
The waiting
for the coming of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah
The future return of Yeshua the Messiah that was
mentioned by Yeshua, Matthew, Luke, Paul, James, John and Peter in scripture:
A few verses with this
thought in it:
Don’t say, my lord delays his coming L
Matt.24 [48] But and if that
evil servant
shall say in his heart, my lord delays his coming[49] And shall begin to smite his fellow servants,
and to eat and drink with the drunken;
[50] The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looks not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,[51] And shall cut him
asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of
teeth.
Luke 12 [45] But and if that
servant say in his heart, My lord delays his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink,
and to be drunken. [46] The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an
hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his
portion with the unbelievers.
1Cor.15 [21] For since by man came death, by man came also the
resurrection of the dead.[22] For as in Adam all die, even so in Messiah
shall all be made alive.
[23] But every man in his own order: Messiah the first fruits;
afterward they that
are Messiah's at his coming.
1Thes.2 [19] For what is our
hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing?
Are not even you in the presence of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah
at his coming?
2 Thes.2 [1] Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Yeshua
the Messiah, and by our gathering
together unto him,
[2] That you be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by
spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Messiah is at hand.
[3] Let
no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come
a
falling away first,
and
that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
[4] Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits
in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
[5] Remember you not,
that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
[6] And now you know what withholds that he might be revealed in his
time.
[7] For the
mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now lets will
let, until he be taken out of the way.
[8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of
his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming,
[9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,[10]
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received
not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that
they should believe a lie:
[12] That they
all might be damned who believed not the
truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
1 Thes.3 [11]
Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Yeshua the Messiah,
direct our way unto you.[12] And the Lord make you to increase and
abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward
you:[13] To the end he
may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father,
at the coming of our Yeshua the Messiah with all his saints.
1 Thes. 4 [15]
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and
remain unto the coming of the
Lord shall not go before /prevent
them which are asleep / dead.
[16] For the Lord himself shall descend
from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump
of God: and the dead in Messiah shall rise first:
[17] Then we which are alive and remain
shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
[18] Wherefore comfort one another with
these words.
1 John 2 [28] And now, little
children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed
before him at his coming.
[29] If you know that he
is righteous, you know that every one that does righteousness is born of him.
1 Cor.1 [4] I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of
God which is given you by Yeshua the Messiah;
[5] That in everything you are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in
all knowledge;
[6] Even as the testimony of Messiah was confirmed in you: [7] So that you come behind in no gift; waiting
for the coming of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah: [8]
Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
Peter knew the
world, in the beginning being overflowed with water, perished in Genesis, let’s
read:
2 Pet.3 [1] This second
epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds
by way of remembrance:
[2] That you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the
holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Savior:
Don’t say:
[3] Knowing this
first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own
lusts,
[4] And saying, Where is the promise of his coming?
for since the fathers fell asleep, all things
continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
[5] For this they
willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and
the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
[6] Whereby the world that then
was, being overflowed with water, perished:
[7]
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are
kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of
judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
[8]
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord
as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
***[9] The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some
men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any
should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
[10]But the day of the Lord will
come as a thief in the night;
in the which the heavens shall pass away with a
great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and
the works that are therein shall be burned up.
[11]
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons
ought you to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
[12] Looking for and
hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt
with fervent heat?
[13] Nevertheless
we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new
earth, wherein dwells righteousness.
Back to 2 Pet.3
[14] Wherefore,
beloved, seeing that you look for such things, be diligent that you may be
found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
***[15] And account
that the longsuffering
of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom
given unto him had written unto you…
[16] As also in all his epistles,
speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be
understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also
the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
[17] You therefore,
beloved, seeing you know these things before, beware lest you also, being led away with the error
of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
[18] But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord
and Savior Yeshua the Messiah. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
Jas. 5 [7] Be
patient therefore, brothers (and sisters) unto
the coming of the Lord.
Behold, the husbandman waits for the precious fruit of the earth,
and had long patience for it, until he
receive the early and latter rain.
[8] Be you also
patient; establish your hearts:
for the coming
of the Lord draws nigh.
Remember:
***The longsuffering of
our Lord, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to
repentance.
The world’s time, it seems:
Approx.
first 4000 years was from the beginning until Yeshua rose from the dead,
then from Yeshua to the end of time, approx 2000 years left?
6000 years? - We
are in 2025? What is the real date?
We
should see, if we are still here, these things before the end:
The 3rd temple
One world leader as god, image of the beast comes alive
The abomination of desolation, spoken of by
Daniel the prophet
The false prophets, false Messiahs - one religion – fake
miracles abound
This leader will have power on the monetary system
The two witnesses
The worst tribulations
The gospel of the kingdom
shall be preached in all the world
***Remember
it is 2025 now, which is our date, so where are we in time?
We
have many things that have to happen yet.

Matt.24
[1] And Yeshua went out, and
departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the
buildings of the temple.
[2] And Yeshua said unto them, See you not all these things? verily I
say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall
not be thrown down.
[3] And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him
privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the
world?
[4] And Yeshua answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive
you.
[5] For many shall come in my
name, saying, I am Messiah; and shall deceive many.
[6] And you shall hear of wars
and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must
come to pass, but the end is not yet.
[7] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and
there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
[8] All these are the beginning of sorrows.
[9] Then shall they deliver you up
to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and you shall be hated of all nations for
my name's sake.
[10] And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and
shall hate one another.
[11] And many false
prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
[12] And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many
shall wax cold.
[13] But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
[14] And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness
unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
[15] When you
therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the
prophet stand in the holy place, (whoso reads, let him understand:)
[16] Then let them which be in
Judaea flee into the mountains:
[17] Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing
out of his house:
[18] Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his
clothes.
[19] And woe unto them that are
with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
[20] But pray you that your
flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day:
[21] For then shall
be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this
time, no, nor ever shall be.
[22] And except those days should be
shortened, there should no flesh be
saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
[23] Then if any man shall say unto
you, Lo, here
is Messiah, or there; believe it not.
[24] For there shall arise false Messiahs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch
that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
[25] Behold, I have
told you before.
[26] Wherefore if they shall say
unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the
secret chambers; believe it not.
[27] For as the
lightning cometh out of the east, and shines even unto the west; so shall also
the coming of the Son of man be.
[37] But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of
man be.
[39] And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so
shall also the coming of the Son of
man be
Some verses with the day of
Yehovah.
That day never sounded like
a good day, no matter when it was in the past or will be in the future:
In closing for now:
Don’t say, Where is the promise of his coming? Or my Lord delays his coming
Like
I said, it is 2025 now, which is our date, so where are we in time?
We
have many things that have to happen yet
Remember: Paul said - Eph.6 [12] For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against
spiritual wickedness in high places.
As James said:
Be you also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draws nigh.
Also remember, Our Lord
is longsuffering, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come
to repentance.
