The
Majesty of our God
The greatness of Yehovah
Majesty = Greatness
Pss.21
[1]
The king shall joy in your strength, O Yehovah; and in your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
[2] You have given him his heart's desire, and have not with holden the request of his lips. Selah.
[3] For you prevent / went before him with the blessings of goodness:
you set a crown of pure gold on his head.
[4] He asked life of you, and you gave it him, even length of days
forever and ever.
[5] His glory is great in your salvation: honor and majesty have you
laid upon him.
[6] For you have made him most blessed for ever: you have
made him exceeding glad with your countenance.
[7] For the king trusts in Yehovah,
and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be
moved.
[8] Thine hand shall find out all your
enemies: your right hand shall find out those that hate you.
[9] You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of your anger: Yehovah shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall
devour them.
[10] Their fruit shall you destroy from the earth, and their seed from
among the children of men.
[11] For they intended evil against you: they imagined a mischievous
device, which they are not able to perform.
[12] Therefore shall you make them turn their back, when you shall make
ready your arrows upon your strings against the face of them.
[13] Be exalted Yehovah, in your own strength: so will we sing and praise your
power.
Pss.29 קוֹל־יְהוָ֥ה
the voice
of Yehovah
[1] Give unto Yehovah, O you
mighty, give unto Yehovah glory
and strength.
[2] Give unto Yehovah the
glory due unto his name; worship Yehovah in the
beauty of holiness.
[3] The voice of Yehovah is upon
the waters: the God of glory thunders: Yehovah is upon many waters.
[4] The voice of Yehovah is
powerful; the voice of Yehovah is
full of majesty.
[5] The voice of Yehovah breaks
the cedars; yea, Yehovah breaks
the cedars of Lebanon.
[6] He makes them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.
[7] The voice of Yehovah
divides the flames of fire.
[8] The voice of Yehovah shakes
the wilderness; Yehovah shakes
the wilderness of Kadesh.
[9] The voice of Yehovah makes the
hinds to calve, and discovers the forests: and in his temple doth every one
speak of His glory.
[10] Yehovah sits
upon the flood; yea, Yehovah sits
King for ever.
[11] Yehovah will
give strength unto his people; Yehovah will
bless his people with peace.
Pss.45 - Messiah in some verses:
[1] My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have
made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
[2] You are fairer than
the children of men: grace is poured into your lips: therefore God had blessed
you forever.
[3] Gird your sword upon your thigh, O most mighty, with your glory and
your majesty.[4] And in
your majesty ride prosperously because of truth and
meekness and righteousness; and your right hand shall teach you terrible
things.
[5] Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the
king's enemies; whereby the people fall under you.
[6] Your throne, O God, is
forever and ever: the scepter of your kingdom is a right scepter. [7]
You love righteousness, and hate wickedness: therefore God, your God,
had anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.
[8] All your garments
smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they
have made you glad.
[9] Kings' daughters were
among your honorable women: upon your right hand did stand the queen in gold of
Ophir.
[10] Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline your ear;
forget also your own people, and your father's house;
[11] So shall the king greatly desire your beauty: for he is your
Lord; and worship you him.
[12] And the daughter of Tyre shall be there
with a gift; even the rich among the people shall entreat your favor.
[13] The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is
of wrought gold.
[14] She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework:
the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto you.
[15] With gladness and
rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace.
[16] Instead of your fathers shall be your children, whom you may make
princes in all the earth.
[17] I will make your
name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise you
forever and ever.
Pss.93
[1] Yehovah reigns, he is clothed with majesty; Yehovah is clothed with strength,
wherewith he had girded himself: the world also is established, that it cannot
be moved.
[2] Your throne is
established of old: you are from everlasting.
[3] The floods have lifted up, Yehovah, the
floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.
[4] Yehovah on high is mightier than the
noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.
[5] Your testimonies are very sure: holiness becomes your house, Yehovah,
forever.
Pss.96
[1] O sing unto Yehovah a new
song: sing unto Yehovah, all the earth.
[2] Sing unto Yehovah, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.
[3] Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
[4] For Yehovah is great, and greatly to be
praised: he is to be feared above all gods.
[5] For all the gods of the nations are idols: but Yehovah made
the heavens.
[6] Honor and majesty are before him: strength and
beauty are in his sanctuary.
[7] Give unto Yehovah, O you kindreds
of people, give unto Yehovah glory and strength.
[8] Give unto Yehovah the glory due unto his name:
bring an offering, and come into his courts.
[9] O worship Yehovah in the beauty of holiness:
fear before him, all the earth.
[10] Say among the heathen that Yehovah
reigns: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he
shall judge the people righteously.
[11] Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea
roar, and the fulness thereof.
[12] Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all
the trees of the wood rejoice
[13] Before Yehovah: for
he comes, for he comes to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with
righteousness, and the people with his truth.
Pss.104
[1] Bless Yehovah, O my soul. Yehovah my God, you are very
great; you are clothed with honor a nd majesty.
[2] Who cover yourself
with light as with a garment: who stretches out the heavens like a curtain:
[3] Who lays the beams of his chambers in the
waters: who makes the clouds his chariot: who walks upon the wings of the wind:
[4] Who makes his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
[5] Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed
for ever.
Pss.145
[5] I will speak of the glorious honor of your majesty, and of your wondrous
works.
[8] Yehovah is
gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
[9] Yehovah is
good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
[11] They shall speak of
the glory of your kingdom, and talk of your power;[12] To make known to the sons
of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his
kingdom.
Isa.2
[10] Enter into the rock, and hide you
in the dust, for fear of Yehovah, and for the glory of His majesty.
[11] The lofty looks of
man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and Yehovah alone
shall be exalted in that day.[12] For the day
of Yehovah of
hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that
is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:
[19] And they shall go into the holes
of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of Yehovah, and for the glory of His majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
[20] In that day a man
shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one
for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;
[21] To go into the clefts of the
rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of Yehovah, and for the glory of
His majesty, when
he arises to shake terribly the earth.
Isa.24
[14] They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of Yehovah, they shall cry aloud from
the sea. [15] Wherefore glorify you Yehovah in the
fires, even the name of Yehovah God
of Israel in the isles of the sea.
Isa.26
[10] Let favor be showed to the
wicked, yet
will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal
unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of Yehovah.
Mic.5
[4] And he shall stand and feed in the
strength of Yehovah, in the majesty of the name of Yehovah his God; and they shall
abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.
Heb.1 Messiah – the son, the
Word
[1] God, who at sundry
times and in divers manners spake in time past unto
the fathers by the prophets,
[2] Had in these last days spoken unto us by his Son / the Word,
whom he had appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
[3] Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person,
and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself
purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the
Majesty on high;
[4] Being made so much better than the angels, as he
had by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
[5] For unto which of
the angels said he at any time, You are my Son, this
day have I begotten you? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall
be to me a Son?
[6] And again, when he brings in the first begotten into the world,
he said, And let all the angels of God worship Him.
[7] And of the angels he
said, Who makes his angels spirits, and his ministers
a flame of fire.
[8] But unto the Son
he said, Your throne, O God, is for
ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is
the sceptre of your kingdom.
[9] You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God,
even your God, had anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.
[10] And, You, Lord, in
the beginning have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the
works of your hands:
[11] They shall perish; but you remain; and they all shall wax
old as doth a garment;
[12] And as a vesture shall you fold them up, and they shall be changed:
but you art the same, and your years shall not
fail.
[13] But to which of the
angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make your enemies
your footstool?
[14] Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister
for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Heb.8
[1] Now of the things which we have
spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest,
who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; [2]
A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord
pitched, and not man.
2 Pet.1
[16] For we have not followed cunningly
devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
[17] For he received
from God the Father honour and glory, when there came
such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This
is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
[18] And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were
with him in the holy mount.
1 Chr.29
[11] You, O Yehovah, are the greatness,
and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the
heaven and in the earth is yours; yours is the kingdom, O Yehovah, and you are exalted as
head above all. [12] Both riches and honor come of you, and you reign over
all; and in your hand is power and might; and in your hand it is to make great,
and to give strength unto all

As I was preparing this
study, I notice all the times the word LORD
was used and not Yehoveh or Yah. L
Here are some
titles or names that God should be called:
Elohim, Eloah, El, Yehovah,
Yah, Shaddai, Immanuel
Most of the name above are missing in the English L
Here are 4
verses with Jehovah, but missed Yah in 2 verses, and missed Shaddai in one verse:
Exodus 6:3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto
Jacob, by the name of God Almighty / Shaddai , but by
my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them?
Here are three
other verses that have Jehovah with an extension but missed Yehovah
in Gen.22 and Judg,6:
Yehovah sees or is seen
Yehovah is my banner
In closing for today,
Jude 1 [24] Now unto him, the
Son, the Word that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless
before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
[25] To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both
now and ever. Amen.
