One in Messiah Congregation
The children of Judah and the children of Israel
shall be gathered together as One again
Hos.1
[1] The word of the LORD that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.
[2] The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD. (this is Israel, the 12 tribes, departed from God. Gentiles never had God to depart from. )
[3] So he went
and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim
; which conceived, and bare him a son.
[4]
And the LORD said unto him, Call his name Jezreel
; for yet a little while, and
I will avenge the blood of Jezreel
upon the house of Jehu
, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house
of Israel.[5] And it shall come to pass at that day, that I will break the
bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.
Jehu - kingdom of Israel, son of Jehoshaphat. 2Ki_9:2 . He reigned over Israel 28 years, B.C. 884-856
[6] And she conceived again, and bare a daughter . And God said unto him, Call her name Lo-ruhamah: for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel ; but I will utterly take them away.
[7] But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah , and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.
[8] Now when she had weaned Lo-ruhamah, she conceived, and bare a son.
[9] Then said God, Call his name Lo-ammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.
[10] Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
[11] Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel.
Hos.2
[1] Say ye unto
your brethren, Ammi; and to your sisters, Ru-hamah.
[2]
Plead with your mother, plead: for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband:
let her therefore put away her whoredoms out of her sight, and her adulteries
from between her breasts;
[3] Lest I strip her naked,
and set her as in the day that she was born, and make her as a wilderness,
and set her like a dry land, and slay her with thirst.
[4] And I will not have mercy upon her children; for
they be the children of whoredoms.
[5]
For their mother hath played the harlot: she that conceived them hath done
shamefully: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread
and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my drink.
[6] Therefore, behold, I will
hedge up thy way with thorns, and make a wall, that she shall not find her
paths.
[7] And she shall follow after
her lovers, but she shall not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall
not find them: then shall she say, I will go and return to my first husband;
for then was it better with me than now.
[8] For she did not know that
I gave her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, which
they prepared for Baal.
[9] Therefore will I return,
and take away my corn in the time thereof, and my wine in the season thereof,
and will recover my wool and my flax given to cover her nakedness.
[10] And now will I discover
her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of
mine hand.
[11] I will also cause all her
mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her
solemn feasts.
[12] And I will destroy her
vines and her fig trees, whereof she hath said, These are my rewards that my
lovers have given me: and I will make them a forest, and the beasts of the
field shall eat them.
[13] And I will visit upon her
the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself
with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgat
me, saith the LORD.
[14] Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring
her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.
[15]
And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for
a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and
as in the day when she, ( Israel
) came up out of the land of Egypt.
[16] And it
shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt
call me Ishi; and
shalt call me no more Baali.
[17]
For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her
mouth, Israel's mouth, and they shall no more be remembered
by their name.
[18] And in that day will I
make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of
heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow
and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down
safely.
[19] And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea,
I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness,
and in mercies.[20
] I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and
thou shalt know the LORD.
[21] And it shall come to pass
in that day, I will hear, saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they
shall hear the earth;
[22] And the earth shall hear
the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall
hear Jezreel. Hosea's son
[23]
And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will
have mercy upon her ( Israel ) that had not obtained mercy; and I will say
to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou
art my God.
Rom.9
[1] I say the
truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy
Ghost,
[2] That I have great heaviness
and continual sorrow in my heart.
[3] For I could wish that myself
were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen
according to the flesh:
[4]
Who are Israelites;
to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants,
and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;[5] Whose
are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over
all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
[6] Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: [7] Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
[8] That is,
They which are the children of the flesh
, these are not the
children of God: but the children of the promise
are counted for the seed.
[9]
For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and
Sara shall have a son.
[10]
And not only this; but when Rebecca
also had conceived by one
, even by our father Isaac;
[11] (For the children being
not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God
according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)[
12] It was said unto her, The
elder shall serve the younger.[13
] As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.[
14] What shall we say then?
Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
[15] For he
saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have
compassion on whom I will have compassion.
[16] So then it is not of him
that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
[17] For the scripture saith
unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might
shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the
earth.
[18] Therefore hath he mercy
on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.
[19] Thou wilt say then unto
me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
[20] Nay but, O man, who art
thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed
it, Why hast thou made me thus?
[21] Hath not the potter power
over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another
unto dishonour?
[22] What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: [23] And that He, God might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy , which He had afore prepared unto glory ,[24] Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
[25] As He saith also in Osee, Hosea,
I will call them my people, which were not my people; and
her beloved, which was not beloved.
[26] And it shall come to pass,
that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye
are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.
( same as above, Hose 2 [23] And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her ( Israel ) that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.)
[27] "Esaias also crieth concerning Israel" , Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:
[28] For he
will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work
will the Lord make upon the earth.
[29] And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth
had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.
[30] What shall we say then? That the Gentiles , which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith .
[31] But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
[32] Wherefore?
Because they, Israel sought
it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law.
For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
Messiah Yeshua.
[33]
As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone
and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth
on Him, Yeshua shall not be
ashamed.
Rom.10[1] Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God
for Israel is, that they might be saved.
Rom.11
[1] I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid.
For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
[2] God hath not cast away his people
( Israel )
which he foreknew.
Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession
to God against Israel, saying,[
3] Lord, they have killed thy
prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek
my life.[4] But what saith the
answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven
thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image
of Baal.
[5] Even so then at this present time also there is
a remnant according to the election of grace.
[6]
And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.
But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more
work.
[7] What then? Israel hath not
obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and
the rest were blinded
[8] (According as it is written,
God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and
ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
[9] And David saith, Let their
table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumbling block, and a recompence
unto them:
[10] Let their eyes be darkened,
that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.
[11] I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid : but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
[12] Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
[13] For I speak to you Gentiles
, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine
office:
[14] If by any means I may provoke
to emulation them which are my flesh, ( Israel )
and might save some of them.
[15] For if the casting away
of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be,
but life from the dead?
[16] For if
the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so
are the branches.
[17] And if some of the branches
( Israel ) be broken off,
and thou, ( Gentiles, nations ) being a wild olive tree
, wert graffed in among them
, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of
the olive tree;
[18] Boast not against the branches
. ( Israel ) But
if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
[19] Thou wilt say then, The
branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
[20] Well; because of unbelief
they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be
not highminded, but fear: ( Gentiles, nations )
[21]
For if God spared not the natural branches, ( Israel
) take heed lest he also spare not thee.
( Gentiles )
[22]
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity;
but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness
: otherwise thou, .
( Gentiles ) also shalt be cut off.
[23] And they, ( Israel ) also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
[24] For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, ( Israel ) be graffed into their own olive tree?
[25] For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant
of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness
in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
[26] And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written,
There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness
from Jacob:
[27] For this is my covenant
unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
[28] As concerning
the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election,
they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
[29] For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
[30]
For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy
through their unbelief:
[31] Even so have these also
now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
[32] For God hath concluded
them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
[33] O the depth of the riches
both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments,
and his ways past finding out!
[34] For who hath known the
mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counseller?
[35] Or who hath first given
to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
[36] For of him, and through
him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
Israel, to whom pertaineth:
the adoption
the glory
the covenants
the giving of the law
the service of God
the promises, which were to the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Messiah came. Yeshua was from the tribe of Judah
Rom. 11 [29] For the gifts and calling of God
are without repentance.
1) the adoption: Exo_4:22; Deu_14:1 ; Jer_31:9 , Jer_31:20; Hos_11:1
2) the glory - Num_7:89; 1Sa_4:21 , 1Sa_4:22 ; 1Ki_8:11; Psa_63:2, Psa_78:61 , Psa_90:16 ; Isa_60:19
3) the covenants - Gen_15:18 , Gen_17:2 , Gen_17:7 , Gen_17:10; Exo_24:7, Exo_24:8 , Exo_34:27 ; Deu_29:1, Deu_31:16 ; Neh_13:29 ; Psa_89:3 , Psa_89:34; Jer_31:33 , Jer_33:20-25 ; Act_3:25 ; Heb_8:6-10
4) the law - Mt. Sinai - Exod. 20
5) the service - Exo_12:25 of the sanctuary, meaning the whole divinely instituted religious service, in the celebration of which they were brought so nigh unto God.
6)the fathers ( Deu_10:15 Act_3:13, Act_7:32) the promises - pertaining to the Messiah Act_3:25 all nations are blessed in Him with Salvation
Rom.3:[1
] What advantage then hath the
Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
[2] Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them
were committed the oracles of God. ( the law, commandments
and the prophecies of the Messiah )
[9] What then? are we better than they?
No, in no wise
: for we have before proved both Jews and
Gentiles, that they are all under sin;[
10] As it is written,
There is none righteous, no, not one
:[11] There is
none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
[12] They are all gone out of
the way, they are together become unprofitable; there
is none that doeth good, no, not one.
[28] Therefore
we conclude that a man is justified,( saved, born again ) by faith without
the deeds of the law.
[29] Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also
of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
[30]
Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision
through faith.
[31] Do we then make void the law through
faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
