פִּילֶגֶשׁ ( pilegesh ) concubine

Do I see an agenda here? Yes!

My Stone Tanach pg. 1697 and my Stone Chumash, pg. 1267 translate pilegesh as Noachides in Song of Songs 6:8 פִּילַגְשִׁים - this is the plural .

All the other times they translate this word concubines. Agenda in play here? I think so.

JPS 1917 Edition translates this concubine. So you see, they are not in agreement.

-------------------

My Stone Tanach pg. 977 in Isa. 14:12 added a word, star to English which is not in the Hebrew.

"O glowing morning star". This is wrong.

הֵילֵל בֶּן־שָׁחַר

הֵילֵל is in the Hiph. = wail, lament, weeping, lamentation ( an oppressor - lucifer )

בֶּן־שָׁחַר ben shachar = son of darkness, blackness

כּוֹכַב kokab = star and this word is not in the Hebrew text.

---------------

JPS 1985 says: Genesis 1:1 When God began to create heaven and earth..

THIS IS TOTALLY WRONG

It say:

בְּרֵאשִׁית, בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים, אֵת הַשָּׁמַיִם, וְאֵת הָאָרֶץ

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

------------------

גּיר גּר geyr - a guest, a foreigner, alien, sojourner, stranger. ( Ibn Ezra is wrong in the Stone Chumash, Torah portion וַיֵּלֶךְ Vayelech , pg. 1096, not noahide nonsense that the strangers, who joined themselves to the Lord, don't have to keep Torah which is made up in Judaism ).

Scripture says: Lev.19[ 34] But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

כְּאֶזְרָח מִכֶּם יִהְיֶה לָכֶם הַגֵּר הַגָּר אִתְּכֶם, וְאָהַבְתָּ לוֹ כָּמוֹךָ־־כִּי־גֵרִים הֱיִיתֶם, בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם: אֲנִי, יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם ( noun common masculine plural construct suffix 2nd person masculine plural ) pluriality of the One God )
