Today
is August 23, 2025
August
- Augustus Caesar's month
Latin
Augustus "Augustus"
Latin Augustus mensis "month of
Augustus"
Latin sextilis mensis "sixth
month" now the 8th month
Sextilis had 30 days,
until Numa when it - had 29 days, until Julius
when it became 31 days long.
Augustus
Caesar clarified and completed the calendar reform of Julius Caesar. In the
process, he also renamed this month after himself.
God’s calendar - We are now the fifth month of
God, day 28 - which has no scriptural name
Av is Not in the bible - This
is Not the name of the 5th month as Judaism states.
Monday is the new moon: Elul is the name of
the 6th month
Elul, seems like it is the name
of the sixth month by the two verses below:
Neh.6 [15] So
the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty
and two days.
Neh.7[73] So the priests, and
the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when
the seventh month came, the children of Israel were in their cities.
The
Word of God
Torah,
Prophets and Writings (psalms)Ta Na Kk is an acronym
for:
T = Torah (law, teachings) - first 5 books of Moses
N = Navi' eem or prophets (pl.
sounds like - Na vi eem)
K = Ke'tuvim or writings (psalms etc.)
At this
point, there were neither gospels nor letters.
Today’s topic:
Worship
God
and Him
only

God, here are a few:

bowed down his head, and worshipped Yehovah.

master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his
truth: I being in the way, Yehovah led me to the
house of my master's brethren.
[48] And I bowed down my head,
and worshipped Yehovah, and blessed Yehovah God of my master Abraham, which had led me in
the right way to take my master's brother's daughter
unto his son.
52] And it came to pass, that, when Abraham's
servant heard their words, he worshipped Yehovah,
bowing himself to the earth.
Exod.4 [31] And the
people believed: and when they heard that Yehovah had
visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction,
then they bowed their heads and worshipped.
Pss.5 [7] But as
for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy
fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.
Pss.22 [27] All the
ends of the world shall remember and turn unto Yehovah:
and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before.

dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

the glory due unto his name; worship Yehovah in
the beauty of holiness.

and shall sing unto you; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.

made shall come and worship before you, O Lord; and
shall glorify thy name.

bow down: let us kneel before Yehovah our maker.
Pss.96 [9] O worship Yehovah
in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
Pss.99 [5] Exalt you Yehovah
our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.
[9] Exalt Yehovah
our God, and worship at his holy hill; for Yehovah
our God is holy.
Pss.132 [7] We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at
his footstool.
Pss.138 [2] I will worship toward
thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness
and for thy truth: for you have magnified thy word above all thy name.
Gospels and Letters:
Matt.2 [11] And when
they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother,
and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their
treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. [12]
And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they
departed into their own country another way.

behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if you
wilt, you can make me clean.
Matt.9 [18] While he spake
these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped
him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but
come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
Matt.14 [33] Then
they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth you
are the Son of God.
Matt.15 [9] But in vain they do worship me,
teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Matt.20 [20] Then
came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping
him, and desiring a certain thing of him.
Matt.28 [9] And as
they went to tell his disciples, behold, Yeshua met
them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped
him.
[17] And when they saw him, they worshipped
him: but some doubted.
[18] And Yeshua came and spake unto them,
saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in
earth.
[19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
[20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and,
lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the
world. Amen.
John.4 [20] Our fathers worshipped
in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.[21]
Yeshua saith unto her,
Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor
yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.[22] Ye worship ye
know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the
Jews.[23] But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers
shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the
Father seeketh such to worship him.[24]
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him
in spirit and in truth.
John.9 [31] Now we know that God heareth not
sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will,
him he heareth.
[35] Yeshua
heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
[36] He answered and said, Who is he, Lord,
that I might believe on him?
[37] And Yeshua said unto him,you have both seen him, and it is he that talks with
you.
[38] And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.
[39] And Yeshua said, For
judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that
they which see might be made blind.
[40] And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words,
and said unto him, Are we blind also?
[41] Yeshua said unto them, If
ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your
sin remaineth.
John.12 [20] And
there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at
the feast: [21] The same came therefore to Philip, which was of
Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Yeshua. [22] Philip cometh and telleth
Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Yeshua.
[23] And Yeshua answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.
[24] Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a
corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth
alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
[25] He that loveth his life shall lose it;
and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep
it unto life eternal.
Acts.8 [27] And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an
eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the
charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,
[28] Was returning, and
sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.
[29] Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.
[30] And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest
thou what thou readest?
[31] And he said, How can I, except some man
should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.
[32] The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a
sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he
not his mouth:
[33] In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall
declare his generation? for his life is taken from the
earth.
[34] And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?
[35] Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and
preached unto him Yeshua.
[36] And as they went on their way, they came unto a
certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder
me to be baptized?
[37] And Philip said, If thou believest with
all thine heart, thou mayest.
And he answered and said, I believe that Yeshua the Messiah is the Son of God.
[38] And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down
both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
[39] And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord
caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way
rejoicing.
[40] But Philip was found at Azotus: and
passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.
Acts.16 [14] And a certain woman named Lydia,
a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God,
heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which
were spoken of Paul.
Acts.17 [23] For as I
passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription,
TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him
declare I unto you.
[24] God that made the world and
all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
[25] Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to
all life, and breath, and all things;
[26] And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all
the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the
bounds of their habitation;
[27] That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him,
and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
[28] For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also
of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
[29] Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to
think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art
and man's device.
[30] And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to
repent:
[31] Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the
world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given
assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
[32] And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked:
and others said, We will hear thee again of this
matter.
[33] So Paul departed from among them.
[34] Howbeit certain men clave unto him, and believed: among the

thy pleasure they are and were created.

be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
Rev.11 [16] And the four and twenty elders,
which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and [17] Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God
Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come;

God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him
that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
Rev.15 [4] Who shall not fear you, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for you only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before
you; for thy judgments are made manifest.
Rev.19 22 [4] And the four and
twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that
sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.
[10] And I fell at his feet to worship him.
And he said unto me, See you do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony
of Yeshua: worship God: for the
testimony of Yeshua is the spirit of prophecy
Rev.22[8] And I John saw
these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen,
I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel
which shewed me these things. [9] Then saith he unto me, See you do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets,
and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
In
closing for now:
