Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s
Today is December 9, 2017 - in the 21 Century
December -- the tenth month - now it is the 12th month
Middle English decembre
Old French decembre
Latin december "tenth month"
Latin decem "ten" + -ber (adj. suffix)
December had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 31 days long.
We acknowledge God’s calendar
We are now in the ninth month of God called Chislev כִסְלֵו - 19th day
Zech.7 And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of Yehovah came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu - Chislev

Always remember: Embellished made-up stories are still lies!
Sad to say, I know most of the world is getting ready to do the made up holidays Chanukah and Christmas now.
I get so many emails about these holidays to buy, buy, and buy.
Another year goes by and a new generation of the youth is deceived.
“Tis the season to be pagan” is all around us!
I am reminded always to inform you to beware of the false image of love, false emotions, loneliness, depression, financial drain, suicide.
Be aware of the artificial, false festival lights and music they put up.
Satan really sets the stage for you.
Beware if you feel or hear a voice telling you to separate yourself from the congregation, go off on your own and read or whatever.

David and many Kings ruled there
1Kgs.2 And the days that David reigned over Israel were forty years: seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem.
2Chr.6 Then said Solomon, Yehovah hath said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.
But I have built an house of habitation for thee, and a place for thy dwelling for ever.
And the king turned his face, and blessed the whole congregation of Israel: and all the congregation of Israel stood.
And he said, Blessed be Yehovah God of Israel, who hath with his hands fulfilled that which he spake with his mouth to my father David, saying,
Since the day that I brought forth my people out of the land of Egypt I chose no city among all the tribes of Israel to build an house in, that my name might be there; neither chose I any man to be a ruler over my people Israel:
But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.
2Chr.9 Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years.
Ezra.1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of Yehovah by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, Yehovah stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying, Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, Yehovah God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build Him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
House of God at Jerusalem
The temple which is at Jerusalem
Pss.51 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
Pss.68 Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.
Pss.79 O God, the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps. The dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.
Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them.
Pss.102  To declare the name of Yehovah in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;
Pss.116 In the courts of Yehovah's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye Yehovah.
Pss.122 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of Yehovah. Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem. Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
Pss.125 They that trust in Yehovah shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so Yehovah is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.
Pss.128 Yehovah shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
Pss.135 Blessed be Yehovah out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye Yehovah.
Pss.137 If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy. Remember, Yehovah, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof.
Pss.147 Praise ye Yehovah: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. Yehovah doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.
Praise Yehovah, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
 And I heard a great
voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he
will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be
with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
And I saw no temple therein: for Yehovah God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
New heavens and a new earth
I will explain the Sabbath again quickly, if needed.
The Sabbath is not "a service" for an hour and a half, but the Sabbath is a "whole 24 hr. day" to the God of Israel, the 4th Commandment.
The Sabbath is not every day
Scriptures says: Exod.20 But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God:
in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
The word Sabbath is "60 times" in the Gospels and letters
Question: S0 why are we here today?
Answer: We were told to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy
The Sabbath is the 4th Commandment and part of the “covenant” given to us at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month, Sivan
Ex. 20 Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yehovah thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Lev. 23 And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,
Concerning the feasts of Yehovah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.
Within your gates - in all your dwellings
