Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s
Today is April 7, 2018 - in the 21 Century
April -- Aphrodite's month
Old English April(is)
Greek Aphro, short for Aphrodite.
Aprilis had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 30 days long.
Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love and beauty. She is identified with the Roman goddess Venus.
We acknowledge Yehovah’s calendar
We are now in the 1st month of God called Nisan – day 20
Nisan, נִיסָן and ha aviv הָאָבִיב
Exod. 13 This day came ye out in the month (ha) Abib.
Esth. 3 In the first month, that is, the month Nisan

A short review of the soon coming Spring Feasts and Holy Days
Remember all the dates I give for the holy days start the evening before
Ha Aviv 21 – Sunday, April 8th is the last day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread – Also First fruits
Moving forward: We start our 7 week journey again – then 50 days later… Feast of Weeks – Pentecost - the Feast of Harvest – the wheat harvest
Esth.8 Then were the king's scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan…
Exod.34 And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest…
Exod.23 And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field…
In the 3rd month Sivan, day 20
סִיו (seev) bright, splendid
April 14 - a Sabbath, until May 27, Sunday - a Sabbath
Exod.23 Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto Me in the year.
Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month ha Aviv / Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field:
and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.
Same as verse 15 - Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord Yehovah.
Deut.16  Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before Yehovah thy God in the place which he shall choose;
in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles:
and they shall not appear before Yehovah empty:
Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of Yehovah thy God which he hath given thee.
Another feast of Unleavened Bread is almost over
a shadow of "things that happened in the past"
The 7 extra Sabbath days in the feasts and holy days of Yehovah
We do these feasts in memorial the best we understand.
Luke 2 Now Yeshua’s parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the Passover
And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. And when they had fulfilled the days, (7 days) they returned…
Custom = manner according to the divine laws in Torah
And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of Yehovah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.
These are the feasts of Yehovah, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.
In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is Yehovah's passover.
And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto Yehovah: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.
In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
Feast of unleavened bread observed in the Gospels and Letters
Matt. 26 Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Yeshua / Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?
Mark 14 After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.
And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?
Luke 22 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.
Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.
After the Resurrection, the feast of unleavened bread was also observed
Acts 12 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
Acts 20 And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days.
1 Cor. 5 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Messiah our Passover is sacrificed for us:
Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
The feasts and holydays of Yehovah are all about the Messiah’s 1st and 2nd comings
Shadows of “things" to come
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days: 17: Which are a shadow of "things to come";(future tense)
But (and) the body is of Messiah.
The reason I give you these words in their original language so you can get more exact meaning!
Judge - κρινω krino: to try to condemn, to separate, put asunder, to pick out, to be of opinion, judge, to pronounce an opinion concerning right and wrong, to contend, to dispute
Holyday - εορτη heorte -heh-or-tay' - a festival: - feast, holyday
New moon - νουμηνία - noumēnia - noo-may-nee'-ah - the festival of the new moon
Sabbath days - σάββατον - sabbaton sab'-bat-on Of Hebrew origin - the Sabbath is the 7th day a repose from secular avocations. Also there are 7 extra Sabbaths in the feasts of Yehovah.
Shadow - σκια skia : shadow, an image cast by an object and representing the form of that object, a sketch, outline
The Sabbath is not a service for an hour and a half, but a 24 hour period, the seventh day. Not just any day you pick.
Ex. 20 Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yehovah thy God:
in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Remember - zâkar - zaw-kar' - A primitive root; properly to mark (so as to be recognized), that is, to remember; by implication to mention; make mention of, be mindful, recount, record (-er), remember, make to be remembered, bring (call, come, keep, put) to (in) remembrance, still, think on, well.
מקרא miqra: convocation, convoking, reading, a calling together, sacred assembly, something called out, that is, a public meeting (the act, the persons, or the place); also a rehearsal

No Servile work - melakat avodah

מְלֶאכֶת – meleket – occupational work
משׁב/מושׁב môshâv - seat, assembly, dwelling-place, dwelling, your situation, location, (at) time of dwelling
Now learn something new, never talked about
The "7" other Sabbaths besides the weekly 7th day Sabbath
There are "7" other holydays which are treated like a Sabbath
NO WORK - NO BUYING or SELLING
1 – 3 – 7
2 --1 -- 4
The 1st month, the 3rd month, and the 7th month
The 1st month “2” extra Sabbaths
The 3rd month “1” extra Sabbath
The 7th month “4” extra Sabbaths
Let me explain:
The feast of unleavened bread חַג הַמַּצּוֹת – starts the 14th at evening - 15th day
1 *** In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
2 *** But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
The 21th day
The 3rd month
The feast of weeks חַג הַשָּׁבֻעוֹת (always on Sunday or the first day)
3 *** And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
The 7th month
Memorial of blowing of trumpets זִכְרוֹן תְּרוּעָה - 1st day
4 *** Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah.
The Day of Atonement - יוֹם הַכִּפֻּרִים 10th day
5 *** Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah.
And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before Yehovah your God.
For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.
And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.
Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.
The feast of tabernacles
6 *** On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein. 15th day
7 *** Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein. 22nd day
That was my explanation of the 7 extra Sabbaths, holy convocations; please go over it as many times as you need.
Remember, these holydays were observed 1000's of years later in the Gospels and Letters. After Yeshua and all the Apostles die it seems many of God’s observances and memorials were deleted.
We observe these feasts and holy days in memorial the best we understand.
We are just following Yeshua and the Apostles
May God forgive us all for the things we know not.
See you tomorrow for the last Sabbath of the Feast of Unleavened Bread which happens to be the First Fruits this year!
