Today is the 7th Sabbath out of the seven Sabbaths we were told to count.

 

Judaism and some Messianics are counting the “omer”.  It is not omer 49. They still cannot follow the scriptures correctly.

 

For your information:

An "omer"òîø  is a "sheaf" of barley, a dry measure of 1/10 ephah  (about 2 liters)

 Follow the scriptures

Lev.23 [15] And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:

 [16] Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto Yehovah.

 

[21] And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

Are you partial in the LAW?

We read last night, some people lift up their faces against the Torah, they “pick and choose” what they like or dislike in the Word

Mal.2[ 9] Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law .

1Tim.5[ 21] I charge thee before God, and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

Jas.2[ 4] Are ye not then partial in yourselves , and are become judges of evil thoughts?

Jas.3[ 17] But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality , and without hypocrisy.

Prov.30[ 32] If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth.

Ezek.31[ 10] Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast lifted up thyself in height, and he hath shot up his top among the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height;[11 ] I have therefore delivered him into the hand of the mighty one of the heathen; he shall surely deal with him: I have driven him out for his wickedness.

Dan.5[ 23] But hast lifted up thyself against Yehovah of heaven ; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:[ 24] Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written.[25 ] And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.[26] This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.[27] TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.[28 ] PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

In this case, to lift or raise up, to lift up the hand to do violence, carry (away), exalt ( self ) ( in pride), lift (self) up, lofty, magnify, pardon (yourself from ) respect persons, partiality

διακρινω dee-ak-ree-no -; to separate thoroughly , that is, (literally and reflexively) to withdraw from, or (by implication) oppose; figuratively to discriminate (by implication decide), or (reflexively) hesitate: - contend, make (to) differ (-ence), discern, doubt, judge, be partial, stagger, waver.

Definition:

1) to separate, make a distinction, discriminate, to prefer

2) to learn by discrimination, to try, decide

2a) to determine, give judgment, decide a dispute

3) to withdraw from one, desert

4) to separate one’s self in a hostile spirit, to oppose, strive with dispute, contend

5) to be at variance with the law or one’s self, hesitate, doubt

It is not Lashon Hara – The Evil Tongue to name people who are evil and pervert the Word of God.

This not tale bearing when you tell the truth

Here is the word for Talebearer -øÈëÄéì  raw-keel - a scandal monger (as travelling about): - slander, carry tales, talebearer, slanderer, informer, a scandal-monger (as travelling about)

Here are a few people in scripture to show it is scriptural to name evil people.

Rom.16[ 17] Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

[18] For they that are such serve not our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

Num.16 [ 1] Now Korah , the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram , the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben,  (rose up against God)

1Tim.1[ 18] This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;
[19] Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck :[20] Of whom is
Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.

2Thes.3[ 14] And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

[15] Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother. (We try to)

2Tim.4 [ 14] Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:

3John.1 [ 9] I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.[10] Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.

Yeshua speaking:

John.8[ 37] I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.[ 38] I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.[ 39] They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.[40 ] But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
[41] Ye do the deeds of your
father . Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.[ 42] Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.[43] Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word .

[44] Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Luke.13[ 31] The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him ( Yeshua ), Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.

[32 ] And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

Paul is bold to say:

1Cor.16 [22] If any man love not the Lord Yeshua the Messiah, let him be Anathema Maranatha

Let them be accursed at His coming - divine judgment

αναθεμα anathema - an-ath'-em-ah From G394; a (religious) ban or (concretely) excommunicated (thing or person): - accursed, anathema, curse, great.

μαραν αθα maran atha - mar'-an ath'-ah: Of Chaldee origin (meaning our Lord has come); maranatha, that is, an exclamation of the approaching divine judgment: - Maran-atha.

Here are a few verses pertaining to reprove, correction, rebuke and instruction: A scorner hates these verses

 

A scorner   ìåÌõ - Talk arrogantly - to boast - to mock, deride, scoff, scorner, a mocker, false teacher

 

Prov.9[7] He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.[8] Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.

 

Prov.13 [1] A wise son heareth his father's instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke

 

Prov.14 [6] A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth.

 

Prov.15 [12] A scorner loveth not one that reproveth him: neither will he go unto the wise.

 

Prov.19[25] Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.

 

[29] Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools

 

Prov.21 [11] When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge

 

[24] Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who dealeth in proud wrath.

 

Prov.22 [10] Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease.

 

Prov.24 [9] The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men.

 

Prov.25[12] As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.

 

Prov.29[1] He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

 

Eph.5[11] And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

 

Lev.19 [17] Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. (if you love their souls)

 

Prov.28[23] He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.

 

Ecc. 7 [5] It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.

 

1Tim.5 [1] Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;[2] The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.

[17] Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
[18] For the scripture
saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

[19] Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.

[20] Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

 

Prov.27 [5] Open rebuke is better than secret love.

 

2Tim.4 [2] Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

 

Tit.1 [10] For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
[11] Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
[12] One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The
Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
[13] This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith
;
[14] Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

Eph.5[11] And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Here is the 4 point procedure of how to deal with this situation below:

Matt.18 [15] Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

[16] But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

[17] And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church:

but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

John.7 [51] Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth? No!

Paul reproves the Corinthians

1Cor.6 [1] Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
[2] Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world?
and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
[3] Know ye not that we shall judge angels?
how much more things that pertain to this life?

[4] If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.

[5] I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?

[6] But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.

[7] Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another.

Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?

[8] Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.

[9] Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
[10] Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor
extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

How can you say you love God and hate your brother or sister?

Rom. 12 [9] Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

 [10] Be kindly affectionate one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

Dissimulation: To disguise (one's intentions) under a feigned appearance. To conceal one's true feelings or intentions. We want to be without dissimulation (without hypocrisy), unfeigned - We want to be genuine!

1 Thes. 4 [9] But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

 Heb. 13 [1] Let brotherly love continue.

 1Pet. 2 [17] Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

 1 John 3 [14] We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren.

He that loveth not his brother (or sister) abideth in death.


[15] Whosoever
hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.


[16] Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.


[17] But whoso hath this world's good, and
seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?


[18] My little
children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

 

1 John 2 [9] He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother (or sister), is in darkness even until now.

[10] He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

[11] But he that hateth his brother (or sister) is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

 1 John 4 [20] If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother (or sister), he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother (or sister) whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

 

[21] And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother (or sister) also.

They which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Gal. 5 [19] Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

[26] Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Some people try to curse us, however they don’t know our God

Num. 23 [23] surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel
