Spring Feasts and Holy Days
Remember:
We were told to count "Sabbaths" not omers.
An "omer" is a "sheaf" of barley
עמר omer - A dry measure of 1/10 ephah (about 2 liters)
Lev.23 [15] And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after
the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the
wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
[16] Even unto the
morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto Yehovah.

Today’s Topic:
Every wind
of doctrine abounds
I am constantly hearing stories in the
Messianic and church world of people wanting to be something else that they are.
They make up commandments and don’t keep God’s commandments.
From the time of the Apostles unto now, almost 2000 years have
passed.
Now there are so many false doctrines, so many, False Bible versions, so many social
media platforms and fancy, Jewish looking websites and Jewish
Judaism acting people to deceive you.
Tribes: Lost or Scattered?
James 1 [1] James, a servant of God and of the Lord Yeshua
the Messiah to the
twelve tribes which are scattered abroad,
greeting.
------
Bible does
not record any major description of the restoration of the northern tribes.
There has
been much speculation over the years as to the question, "Where are the
lost ten tribes?" are
the tribes lost?"
There are
many dangerous cult groups that claim to be
"actual" descendents of the ten
northern tribes.
Some groups
in Japan, Gypsies, African Americans, Britain, Native Americans, India even Eskimos
and the list goes on and on say they are the “lost tribes”.
I sometimes
wonder if Hitler had won the war, how many
people would claim to be one of the tribes of Israel. Not many I suspect.
There are
some elements in Mormonism, the World Wide Church of God, the Armstrong group
and Jehovah Witnesses that make similar claims.
It has even
affected parts of the Christian Zionist movement and the many flavors of the
Two house doctrine in the Messianic world today ( 2018
).
Some people say Ephraim and Manasseh are America and
Britain (or
the Protestant churches of today)
Beware
of books and commentaries with information that is not provable!
These
books always use terms such as:
1) it may be
2) it seems to be
3) sounds like
4) a possibility
5) sounds crazy but...
6) it feels like
7) claim to be
8) we speculate that…
Watch out for unproven theories or speculation,
even in science.
They
put together histories, fables, Jewish fables and endless genealogies
This is a big thing now:
Watch out for ‘Gentiles’ trying to look
like, act like, and speak some Hebrew like Jews.
Some say they are Manasseh,
Ephraim or Joseph – believe them not!
Watch out for ‘Gentiles’ or Jews trying to tell you
they are from some certain tribe of Israel – believe them not!
Titus destroyed Jerusalem and all the records in 70 A.D.
No one can prove what tribe they are from today and it does not
matter anyway.

Judaism things that are still out there today!
Where does it say in
scripture you have to be Manasseh,
Ephraim or Joseph or any other tribe?
Ephraim shows
up one time in the Gospels and
letters just as a city and not in the 12 tribes
in Revelations
Where does
Messiah Yeshua put any emphasis
on you being a certain tribe?

Let’s read:
Acts 8 [9] there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in
the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of
Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
[10] To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This
man is the great power of God.
[11] And to him they had regard, because that of
long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.
Another false jesus
Acts 13 [6] And when they had
gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was
Bar-jesus:
[7] Which was
with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul,
and desired to hear the word of God.
[8] But Elymas the sorcerer
(for so is his name by interpretation) withstood
them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the
faith.
[9] Then Saul, (who also is called
Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,
[10] And said, O full of all subtilty
and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness,
wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of Yehovah?
[11] And now, behold, the hand of the
Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not
seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by
the hand.

Prov.6 [16] These six
things doth Yehovah hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto Him:
[17] A proud look, a lying tongue, and
hands that shed innocent blood,
[18] An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet
that be swift in running to mischief,
[19] A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among
brethren.

The Corinthians were a very
obstinate group of people.
Read this below:
1Cor.5 [1] It is reported commonly that there
is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among
the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
2 Cor.11 [4] For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus,
whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another
spirit, which ye have not received, or another
gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear (or put up) with him.
Just think, almost 2000 years later, how many Jesus’, spirits and
gospels are there now to deceive you in many forms?
Almost 2000 years ago, but same as today
Eph.4[14] … be no more children, tossed to
and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning
craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

[10] For there are
many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially
they of the circumcision: Jews that rejected the
Messiah
[11] Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses,
teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
[12] One
of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians
are alway liars, evil beasts, slow
bellies.
[13] This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be
sound in the faith;
[14] Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that
turn from the truth.
[15] Unto
the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is
nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
[16] They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him,
being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

[5] Now the end (goal) of the commandment is charity out of a
pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:[6] From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
[7] Desiring to be teachers of the law (torah); understanding
neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;
[9] Knowing this, that the law (the judgments) is
not made for a righteous man,
but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for
sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of
mothers, for manslayers,

that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for
perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that
is contrary to sound doctrine…

Heb.13 [9] Be not carried about with divers and
strange doctrines.
1Tim.4
[1] Now the
Spirit speaketh expressly, that in
the latter times some shall depart from the faith,
giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
[2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy;
having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
[7] But refuse profane and old wives'
fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

thee therefore before God, and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah, who
shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after
their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
[4] And they shall turn away
their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences
contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
[18] For they that are such
serve not our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, but
their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches
deceive the hearts of the simple.

2 Cor. 11[26] …false brethren
Gal. 2 [4] And that
because of false brethren unawares

2 Cor. 11[13] … false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Messiah
[14] And no marvel;
for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of
light.
[15] Therefore it is no great thing if his, Satan’s ministers also be transformed as the ministers of
righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

John’s words are very powerful and to the point
1 John 2
[18] Little children, it is the last time: and
as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
[22] Who is a liar but
he that denieth that Yeshua is the Messiah?
He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son (the Word).
[23] Whosoever denieth the Son, (the Word) the same hath not the Father:

Think of all the religions that don’t believe God was manifested in the flesh
1Tim. 3 [16] And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh…
John 1 [1] In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God.
[14] And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as
of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Back to John - (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son (the Word) hath the
Father also.
1 John 4
[1] Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many
false prophets are gone out into the world.
[2] Hereby
know ye the Spirit of God:
Every spirit that confesseth that Yeshua is the Messiah is come in the flesh (of Israel) is of God:
[3] And every spirit that confesseth not that Yeshua is the
Messiah is come in the flesh (of Israel) is not of God: and this is
that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard
that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2 John 1 [7] For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not
that Yeshua the Messiah is come
in the flesh (of Israel). This is a deceiver and an anti-Messiah.
[8] Look to
yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we
receive a full reward.
[9]
Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Messiah, hath not God.
He that abideth in the doctrine of
Messiah, he hath both the Father and the Son.
[10] If there
come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive
him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
[11]
For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Rev.2 [14] But I have a few things against thee, because thou
hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children
of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
[15] So hast
thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

Peter writes:
2Pet.2 [1] But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be
false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought
them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
[2] And many
shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
[3] And through covetousness shall they
with feigned words make
merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long
time lingereth not, and
their damnation slumbereth not.
[4] For if God
spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
[5] And spared not the old world, but
saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
[6] And turning
the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live
ungodly;
[7] And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
[8] (For that righteous man
dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day
to day with their unlawful deeds;)
[9] Yehovah knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be
punished:
[10] But chiefly them that walk after
the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are
they, selfwilled, they are not afraid
to speak evil of dignities.
[11] Whereas angels, which are greater
in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before Yehovah.
[12] But these, as natural brute beasts,
made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand
not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
[13] And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it
pleasure to riot in the day time.
Spots
they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
[14] Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling
unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed
children:
[15] Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray,
following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
[16] But was rebuked for his
iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the
prophet.
[17] These are wells without water,
clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness
is reserved for ever.
[18] For when they
speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of
the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who
live in error.
[19] While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in
bondage.
[20] For if after they have escaped the
pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Yeshua the Messiah, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter
end is worse with them than the beginning.
[21] For it had been
better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy
commandment delivered unto them.
[22] But it is happened unto them
according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was
washed to her wallowing in the mire.
Prov.26 [11] As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly.

Acts.20 [29] For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. [30] Also of your
own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things,
to draw away disciples after them.

Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
[32]
And now, brethren, (and sisters) I commend you to God, and to the word of his
grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all
them which are sanctified.

Remember there is always wise scriptural, Godly council to confer
with.
Prov.11 [14] Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of
counselors there is safety.
Prov.24 [6] For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of
counselors there is safety.

One last thing:
I will explain how to keep the Sabbath if needed
This is how simple it is:
Question: So why are we
here today?
Answer: We were told to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy.
Sabbath is the “4th Commandment” 0f the 10 Commandments
Today is the rest of the holy Sabbath unto Yehovah
I will explain the Sabbath day from Scripture, the 7th day.
The Sabbath is not a
service for an hour and a half, but a 24 hour
period on the seventh day.
Not any day you pick.

Gen.2 [1] Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
[2] And on the seventh day God ended
his work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work
which He had made.
[3] And God blessed the seventh day, and
sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which
God created and made.

Lev. 23 [32] … from even (sunset) unto even (sunset), shall ye
celebrate your Sabbath.
The Sabbath is the 4th Commandment of the covenant given to
us at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month, Sivan
The 10 commandments are in Exod. 20 and Deut.
5 - if you just know this, you will know more than most ministers.
זכר Remember
zâkar - zaw-kar' - A primitive root; properly to mark (so as to be recognized),
that is, to remember; by implication to mention; make mention of, be mindful,
recount, record (-er), remember, make to be remembered, bring (call,
come, keep, put) to (in) remembrance, be still, think on, well.
Ex. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath
of Yehovah thy God:
in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy
son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor
thy stranger that is within thy gates:
[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested
the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Isa. 58 [13] If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure
on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of Yehovah, honorable; and shalt honor him,
1 - not doing thine (your) own ways
2 - nor finding thine (your) own pleasure
3 - nor speaking
thine (your) own words:
[14] Then shalt thou delight thyself in Yehovah; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and
feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy
father: for the mouth of Yehovah hath spoken it.

Lev. 23 [3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh
day is the Sabbath of rest, an "holy convocation"; ye shall do no work therein: it is the
Sabbath of Yehovah in all
your dwellings.
Dwelling:מושׁב môshâv - seat, assembly, dwelling-place, dwelling, your
situation, location, (at) time of dwelling.
All Sabbaths are "holy convocations, a miqra kodesh"
Lev.23
[1] And Yehovah spake unto Moses,
saying,
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, concerning the feasts of Yehovah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy
convocations, even these are My feasts. [3] Six days shall
work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of
rest, an holy
convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.
[4] These are the feasts of Yehovah, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.
מקרא miqra: convocation, convoking, reading, a calling together, sacred assembly, something called
out, that is, a public meeting (the act, the persons, or the place); also a
rehearsal
קדשׁ kodesh: a sacred place or thing; consecrated, dedicated, hallowed,
holiness, saint, sanctuary, apartness, sacredness, separateness, apartness,
sacredness, holiness: All to the God of Israel.

Buying and selling is evil on the Sabbath.
Neh. 13 [16] There dwelt men of
Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the sabbath unto the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem.
[17] Then I contended with the nobles of Judah,
and said unto them, what evil thing is this that ye do,
and profane the Sabbath day?
