Shabbat Shalom

-----------

Let’s Pray

-------------

My ministry is to bring up topics in the Bible that have never been discussed, mentioned or deleted in your life that God wants you to know.

-------------

Today we use the Gregorian calendar (Pope Gregory, 1500's) – August 21, 2010

--------------

 We restore the calendar of God

We are now in the 10th day of the 6th month of God

Change your Judaism calendars; Judaism is wrong again by calling the 6th month Elul, no scripture to back that up.

------------

All my studies may be viewed at:

You can read them on my site at http://oneinmessiah.net/subjects.htm

 You can hear them on my site at http://oneinmessiah.net/av.htm

 You can see them on my site at http://oneinmessiah.net/videoFiles.htm

I would love to come and give a talk at your congregation, school or home on the Jewish / Hebrew roots of your faith from the Scriptures, not Judaism.

I explain the Sabbath, the 7th day, each week

This is how simple it is:

Exod. 20

[8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

[10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God:

in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

 ------------

Deut. 5

[12] Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as Yehovah thy God hath commanded thee.
[13] Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:
[14] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.

[15] And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that Yehovah thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore Yehovah thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
------------

Lev. 23

[3] Six days shall work be done:

but

the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an holy convocation;

ye shall do no work therein:

it is the Sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.

--------

Isa. 58 [13] If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of Yehovah, honourable; and shalt honour him,

1 - not doing thine own ways,

2 - nor finding thine own pleasure,

3 - nor speaking thine own words:

[14] Then shalt thou delight thyself in Yehovah; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of Yehovah hath spoken it.

------------------------

Buying and selling is evil on the Sabbath

 Neh. 13 [16] There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the Sabbath unto the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem.

[17] Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, what evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the Sabbath day?

------------------------

We read from law and the prophets every Sabbath like they did in the Book of Acts

60 times in the Gospels and letters it uses the word Sabbath!

Today's Topic - TIME

TIME runs all things in your life

How do you "SPEND" your TIME? We say it all the time

Spend is a interesting word meaning:  to pay out, disburse, or expend; dispose of, to pass (time) in a particular manner, place, with, to use up, consume, or exhaust

We only have so much time here

We have created many devices to keep and measure time.

Many movies have been written about time, the time machine and time travel.

Countless songs and books have been written in many fashions about time.

There are countless sayings about time - Time waits for no one! Time heals all things, Time marches on, Give it time, Times up, you get the picture, I digress...

--------------------------------------------------------------

God has His own TIME and TIMES for all things

The words "time, times" are many places in scripture

Gen. 8 [22] While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease

Deut. 16 [16] Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the YEHOVAH thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the YEHOVAH empty

[12] For all that do these things are an abomination unto the YEHOVAH: and because of these abominations the YEHOVAH thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
[13] Thou shalt be perfect with the YEHOVAH thy God.
[14] For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the YEHOVAH thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.

Job 7 [1] Is there not an appointed time to man upon earth? are not his days also like the days of an hireling?

In the early 1970's, a song was written about this, remember?

Ecc. 3

[1] To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
[2] A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
[3] A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
[4] A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
[5] A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
[6] A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
[7] A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
[8] A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

-----------------

/cgi/k/kjv/kjv-idx?type=DIV2&byte=2553361Ecc. 3

[17] I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.

Ecc. 7

[17] Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?

Ecc. 8

[5] Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerneth both time and judgment.

[6] Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great upon him.

[7] For he knoweth not that which shall be: for who can tell him when it shall be?
[8] There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.

Ecc. 9

[11] I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

[12] For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.

The Book of Daniel has many verses pertaining to time and times

Dan. 12 [1] And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

The Gospels and letters have many verses about time and times

Here are a few of them:

Matt.2

[1] Now when Yeshua was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
[2] Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
[3] When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
[4] And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Messiah should be born.
[5] And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,
[6] And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.
[7] Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, inquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.
[8] And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.
[9] When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
[10] When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
[11] And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
[12] And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.
[13] And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Yehovah appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
[14] When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
[15] And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Yehovah by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.
[16] Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.

Matt.8

[29] And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Yeshua, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

Matt.24

[21] For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Mark.1

[15] And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Mark.13

[19] For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

[33] Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

Acts.1

[6] When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Yehovah, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

[7] And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

[8] But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Acts.3

[19] Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Yehovah;

[20] And he shall send Yeshua Messiah, which before was preached unto you:

[21] Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Rom.5

[6] For when we were yet without strength, in due time Messiah died for the ungodly.

Rom.8

[18] For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Rom.11

[5] Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

Rom.13

[11] And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

Eph.5

[14] Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Messiah shall give thee light.
[15] See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
[16] Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
[17] Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Yehovah is.

Col.4

[5] Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

1Thes.5

[1] But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
[2] For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Yehovah so cometh as a thief in the night.
[3] For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

2Thes.2

[1] Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Yehovah Yeshua Messiah, and by our gathering together unto him,
[2] That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Messiah is at hand.
[3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
[4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
[5] Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
[6] And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
[7] For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
[8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Yehovah shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
[9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
[10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
[12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

2Tim.4

[1] I charge thee therefore before God, and the Yehovah Yeshua Messiah, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
[2] Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
[3] For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
[4] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

1Pet.4

[17] For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
[18] And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

1John.2

[18] Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antiMessiah shall come, even now are there many antiMessiahs; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Jude.1

[18] How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

Rev.1

[3] Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Rev.10

[1] And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
[2] And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
[3] And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
[4] And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
[5] And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
[6] And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
[7] But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Rev.11

[18] And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth

Rev.12

[12] Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

[13] And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
[14] And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

Rev.14

[15] And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

Rev.22

[10] And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

-------------------------------

In closing:

So how do you “spend” your time?

You know you only have so much!

Here is a good lesson to end with today:

Luke 12

[15] And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness:

for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

[16] And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:

[17] And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?

[18] And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.

[19] And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

[20] But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

[21] So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

Be rich toward God in your “time” here on earth
