All welcome

Shabbat Shalom

Let’s pray the prayer that Yeshua taught his disciples

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come,

Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, sins, as we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from evil:

For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.

 Amen

  God has His own calendar

We are now in the 12th Month of God, Adar, and 1st day

Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory, from the 1500’s

Today is February 5th, 2011

February was named after the Latin term februum, which means purification, via the purification ritual Februa held on February 15 in the old Roman calendar. – Sad to say

I explain the Sabbath each week

This is how simple it is:

The 4th Commandment is a part of the covenant given to us at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month, Sivan

Exod. 20

[8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Ex. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

æëø    Remember

zâkar - zaw-kar' - A primitive root; properly to mark (so as to be recognized), that is, to remember; by implication to mention; make mention of, be mindful, recount, record (-er), remember, make to be remembered, bring (call, come, keep, put) to (in) remembrance, still, think on, well.

[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

[10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God:

-----

Rev.1 [10] I was in the Spirit on Yehovah's Day - (The Sabbath Exod. 20:10)

-----

Back to verse 10

in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

 --------

Isa. 58 [13] If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of Yehovah, honourable; and shalt honour him,

1 - not doing thine own ways,

2 - nor finding thine own pleasure,

3 - nor speaking thine own words:

[14] Then shalt thou delight thyself in Yehovah; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of Yehovah hath spoken it.

------------

Lev. 23 [3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an "holy convocation"; ye shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.

Dwelling   îåùÑá  môshâv - seat, assembly, dwelling-place, dwelling, your  situation, location, (at) time of dwelling

------------

The Sabbath is a "holy convocation"

î÷øà  miqra: convocation, convoking, reading, a calling together, sacred assembly, something called out, that is, a public meeting (the act, the persons, or the place); also a rehearsal

÷ãùÑ   kodesh: a sacred place or thing; consecrated, dedicated, hallowed, holiness, saint, sanctuary, apartness, sacredness, separateness, apartness, sacredness, holiness

------------

Buying and selling is evil on the Sabbath

Neh. 13 [16] There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the sabbath unto the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem.

[17] Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them,  What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day?

Today's Topic:  Be purified!

 Be thankful!

 Thank and Bless Yehovah forever!

Praise Yehovah!

-------------------

"He wants to dwell among us and in us"

Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried

Ezra. 6 [20] For the priests and the Levites were purified together, all of them were pure, and killed the passover for all the children of the captivity, and for their brethren the priests, and for themselves.

Neh. 12 [30] And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.

Dan. 12 [10] Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Zech. 13 [9] And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say Yehovah is my God.

Mal. 3 [2] But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: [3] And he shall sit as a refiner and purifer of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto Yehovah an offering in righteousness.

[3] And he shall sit as a refiner and purifer of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto Yehovah an offering in righteousness

Pss.66 [10] For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.

1 Pet. 1 [22] Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

[23] Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

[24] For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth way:[25] But the word of Yehovah endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

John.15 [3] Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Rev. 7 [14] And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

------------

Be thankful!

Luke.17

[12] And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
[
13] And they lifted up their voices, and said, Yeshua, Master, have mercy on us.
[
14] And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
[
15] And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
[
16] And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

[
17] And Yeshua answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
[
18] There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
[
19] And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

Pss.50 [14] Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:

Pss.69 [30] I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

Pss.79 [13] So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations.

Pss.92 [1] It is a good thing to give thanks unto Yehovah, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:

Pss.95 [2] Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

Pss.97 [12] Rejoice in Yehovah, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Pss.106 [1] Praise ye Yehovah. O give thanks unto Yehovah; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

[47] Save us, YEHOVAH our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.

Pss.107 [1] O give thanks unto Yehovah, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Pss.119 [62] At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.

Pss.122 [4] Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of Yehovah, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of Yehovah.

Pss.136 [1] O give thanks unto Yehovah; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

[2] O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.

[26] O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Pss.140 [13] Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.

Eph.5 [19] Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to Yehovah;

[20] Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah;

Col.3[15] And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

[17] And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of Yehovah Yeshua, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

[20] Despise not prophesyings.
[21] Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
[22] Abstain from all appearance of evil.

[23] And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.

Heb.13  [15] By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

"He will dwell among us and in us"

ëÀáåÉã éÀäåÈä - Glory of Yehovah

"Tabernacle, temple and sanctuary"

Let us start setting up a place in our hearts and lives for Yehovah

Exod. 29 [45] And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God. [46] And they shall know that I am Yehovah their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt that I may dwell among them: I am Yehovah their God.

--------------------------------------

I will dwell among the children of Israel

Num. 35 [34] Defile not therefore the land which ye shall inhabit, wherein I dwell: for I Yehovah dwell among the children of Israel.

1 Kgs. 6 [13] And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel.

Pss. 68 [17] The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: Yehovah is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

[18] Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that Yehovah God might dwell among them.

Rev. 7
[13] And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

[14] And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

[15] Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

[16] They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

[17] For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Rev. 21 [3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

------------------------------------

He (God) shall be for a sanctuary for us

Exod. 25 [8] And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.

Pss. 68 [24] They have seen thy goings, O God; even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.

Pss. 77 [13] Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?

Pss. 78 [54] And he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, even to this mountain, which his right hand had purchased.

[69] And he built his sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth which he hath established for ever.

Pss. 96 [6] Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

Pss. 102 [19] For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did Yehovah behold the earth;

Isa. 8 [14] And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

----------------

The body is known as the tabernacle

2 Pet. 1 [13] Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance; [14] Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Yeshua the Messiah hath shewed me.

----------------------

We are the temple of God

I will dwell in them, and walk in them

1 Cor. 3 [16] Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? [17] If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

2 Cor. 6 [14] Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
[15] And what concord hath Messiah with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

[16] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?

for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

[17] Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith Yehovah, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
[18] And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith Yehovah Almighty.

[19] What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

[20] For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Rev. 21 [22] And I saw no temple therein: for Yehovah God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

----------------------

1Cor.6 [15] Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Messiah?

Shall I then take the members of Messiah, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

[16] What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

[17] But he that is joined unto Yehovah is one spirit.

[18] Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that commiteth fornication sinneth against his own body

---------------------

Eph.2 : [19] Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

[20] And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Yeshua the Messiah himself being the chief corner stone;

[21] In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in Yehovah:

[22] In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

John.14

[15] If ye love me, keep my commandments.
[16] And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

[17] Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

[18] I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

------------

We are priests with spiritual sacrifices

Exod.19 [5] Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

[6] And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.

Heb.13 [15] By him therefore let us offer (as priests) the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

1Pet.2 [5] Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Yeshua Messiah. [9] But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Rev.1 [6] And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Rev.5 [10] And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Rev.20[6] Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Messiah, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

----------------------

Isa.25 [9] And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is Yehovah; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

In closing:

Be purified! Be thankful! Thank and Bless Yehovah forever!

Praise Yehovah!

Shabbat Shalom
