All welcome

Shabbat Shalom

-------------

My ministry is to bring up topics in the Bible that have never been discussed or mentioned in your life that have been deleted from your knowledge.

 -----------------

  Let’s Pray

-----------

Today we use the Gregorian calendar (from Pope Gregory, 1500's)

 November 6, 2010

 --------------

We restore God’s calendar

God has His own calendar that has been deleted from our lives

We are in the 8th month called Bul (pronounced Bool, "rain"), 28th day

We had a lot of rain the other day, brought our water levels up to where they need to be.

1 Kgs.6 [38] And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it.

(Part of October & November)

Judaism calls this month Cheshvan or Marheshvan

This is not in the Hebrew Scriptures.

Remember to “Change Your Clocks”, Time to “Fall Back”, play the game

The official change to standard time occurs at 2 a.m. Sunday, though most people will change their clocks Saturday night.

Some states and territories don’t observe daylight-saving time and won’t have to worry about changing their clocks back.

Those are Arizona, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam and the Northern Marianas.

They say, Daylight Saving Time will return on March 14, 2011.

------------------------

Now on to God’s Calendar

New Moon / Rosh Chodesh will be Sunday evening

It will be the ninth month called Chislev

ìÇçÉãÆùÑ äÇúÌÀùÑÄòÄé--áÌÀëÄñÀìÅå

Zech. 7 [1] And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of Yehovah came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu;

Tis the season to be pagan", Beware!

---------

Beware of the:

False image of Love

False feelings and emotions

These pagan feasts bring on loneliness, depression, suicide and oh yes, debt

--------------------------------

A short recap of some false love, feelings and emotions - Beware!

Some people in our sub-division still have their evil Halloween trash up

Once upon a time, Halloween was banned

Halloween was not celebrated in this country until 1845

-----------

George Washington proclaimed a National Day of Thanksgiving in 1789 - Thanksgiving – thanking the wrong god, not the God of Israel

-----------------

Kwanzaa - Ron Karenga (aka Dr. Maulana Ron Karenga) invented the seven-day feast, Dec. 26-Jan. 1, in 1966, branding it a black alternative to Christmas.

The idea was to celebrate the end of what he considered the Christmas-season exploitation of African Americans.

---------------

Christmas

Once upon a time, Christmas was banned in 1659 in America

The following is a quote from the Encyclopedia Britannica, Volume 11; page 390.

"During the later periods of Roman history, sun worship gained in importance and ultimately led to what has been called a 'solar monotheism.'

Nearly all the gods of the period were possessed of Solar qualities, and both Christ and Mithra acquired the traits of solar deities.

The feast of Sol and Victus (open unconquered Sun) on December 25th was celebrated with great joy, and eventually this date was taken over by the Christians as Christmas, the birthday of Christ.

The Christians were trying to get more converts so they adapted a pagan holiday to their worship to appease the pagans in 336 AD.

---------------

The Encyclopedia Britannica reports that "The traditional customs connected with Christmas have developed from several sources as a result of the coincidence of the celebration of the birth of Christ with the pagan agricultural and solar observations at midwinter.

In the Roman world the Saturnalia (December 17) was a time of merrymaking and exchange of gifts.

December 25 was also regarded as the birth date of the Iranian mystery god Mithra, the Sun of Righteousness."

---------------

Colliers Encyclopedia agrees. Quote: "After the triumph of Constantine, the church at Rome assigned December 25 as the date for the celebration of the feast, possibly about A.D. 320 or 353.

By the end of the fourth century the whole Christian world was celebrating Christmas on that day, with the exception of the Eastern churches, where it was celebrated on January 6.

The choice of December 25 was probably influenced by the fact that on this day the Romans celebrated the Mithraic feast of the Sun-god (natalis solis invicti), and that the Saturnalia also came at this time."

---------------

Both encyclopedias plainly reveal that the source of the celebration of December 25 is the birthday of Mithra, the pagan sun god.

Sun worshippers since the time of Babel recognized this time of year in honor of their pagan gods.

1st century believers, taught personally by Christ, did not celebrate His birthday.

2nd century theologians condemned the thought.

Only after severe persecution, destruction and inaccessibility of biblical scripture and the blending of pagan doctrine with the worship of God was the Mithraic celebration of December 25th proclaimed to be "Christian" in nature.

These facts are well documented. They can be found in any encyclopedia.

There is no way to "so call Christianize" the birthday of the sun god.

Anyone today with access to a computer or an encyclopedia can know better than those with so-called theological degrees of yesterday.

---------------

Again I say:

Beware of the:

False image of Love

False feelings and emotions

These pagan feasts bring on loneliness, depression, suicide and oh yes, debt.

Paul tells the Colossians: in Colossians 2:16,

Our video teaching on Colossians 2:16

http://oneinmessiah.net/col216b.asf

Col. 2:16: Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

17: Which are a shadow of "things to come"; (future tense) but the body is of Messiah.

Let’s review some Greek words:

judge - κρινω krino: to try to condemn, to separate, put asunder, to pick out, to be of opinion, judge, to pronounce an opinion concerning right and  wrong, to contend, to dispute

--------

Holyday - εορτη heorte -heh-or-tay' - a festival: - feast, holyday

--------

new moon - νουμηνία - noumēnia - noo-may-nee'-ah  - the festival of the new moon

--------

sabbath days - σάββατον - sabbaton sab'-bat-on Of Hebrew origin - the Sabbath (that is, Shabbath), 7th day of week repose from secular avocations (also the observance or institution itself); Also there are 7 other Sabbaths in the feasts of Yehovah.

--------

Shadow - σκια skia : shadow, an image cast by an object and representing the form of that object, a sketch, outline

----------------------------

Question:

So why are we here today?

Answer:

We were told to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

----------

The 4th Commandment is a part of the covenant given to us at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month, Sivan

We read from law and the prophets every Sabbath.

60 times in the Gospels and letters it uses the word Sabbath

Ex. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

æëø zâkar - zaw-kar' - A primitive root; properly to mark (so as to be recognized), that is, to remember; by implication to mention; make mention of, be mindful, recount, record (-er), remember, make to be remembered, bring (call, come, keep, put) to (in) remembrance, still, think on, well.

-----

back to Ex. 20

[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yehovah thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Rev.1 [10] I was in the Spirit on Yehovah's day - (The Sabbath, 7th day)

-----------

Lev. 23 [3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an "holy convocation"; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.

The sabbath is a "holy convocation"

î÷øà miqra: convocation, convoking, reading, a calling together, sacred assembly, something called out, that is, a public meeting (the act, the persons, or the place); also a rehearsal

÷ãùÑ kodesh: a sacred place or thing; consecrated, dedicated, hallowed, holiness, saint, sanctuary, apartness, sacredness, separateness, apartness, sacredness, holiness

Today’s topic:  Adding and diminishing from God’s word

Adding and diminishing from the Word of God

 causes all the problems

----------------------

Deut. 4 [2] Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of Yehovah your God which I command you.

Deut. 12 [32] What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Prov. 30 [6] Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

-------------------

We do not want this attitude - to be “Right in our own eyes"

Num. 15 [37] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

[38] Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:

 [39] And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of Yehovah, and do them;

and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:

[40] That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.

[41] I am Yehovah your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am Yehovah your God.

-----------------

Deut.12 [8] Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.

-----------------

Judg. 17  [6] In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.

-----------------

Judg. 21 [25] In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.

-----------------

Prov. 3 [7] Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear Yehovah, and depart from evil.

-----------------

Prov. 12 [15] The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

-----------------

Prov. 16 [2] All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but Yehovah weigheth the spirits.

-----------------

Prov. 12 [15] The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

----------------

Prov. 21 [2] Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but Yehovah pondereth the hearts.

-----------------

Prov. 30 [12] There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness

-----------------

Isa. 5 [20] Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

[
21] Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

[22] Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:

[
23] Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

Question - What was a job of a King of Israel?

God’s Elections

Deut. 17

[14] When thou art come unto the land which Yehovah thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me;

[15] Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom Yehovah thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother.

[16] But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as Yehovah hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.

[17] Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.

[18] And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:

[19] And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear Yehovah his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:

[20] That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Israel.

------------------

Judg.17 [6] In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.

 ------------------

Where did they go wrong? Right here

They say, “Make us a king to judge us like all the nations

1 Sam. 8

[1] And it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he made his sons judges over Israel.
[2] Now the name of his firstborn was Joel; and the name of his second, Abiah: they were judges in Beer-sheba.

[3] And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment.

[4] Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah,

[5] And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.

[6] But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto Yehovah.

[7] And Yehovah said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.

[8] According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee.

[9] Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them.

[10] And Samuel told all the words of Yehovah unto the people that asked of him a king.

[11] And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots.
[12] And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots.
[13] And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers.
[14] And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants.
[15] And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants.
[16] And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work.
[17] He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants.
[18] And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and Yehovah will not hear you in that day.

[19] Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us;

[20] That we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles.

[21] And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he rehearsed them in the ears of Yehovah.

[22] And Yehovah said to Samuel, Hearken unto their voice, and make them a king. And Samuel said unto the men of Israel, Go ye every man unto his city.
-------------------

God says "don't be like all the nations:

Jer.10[ 2] Thus saith Yehovah, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. [3 ] For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. [ 4] They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

Jer.6[16] Thus saith Yehovah, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths , where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein . ( like most of the world today )

Jer.18[ 15] Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways from the ancient paths, to walk in paths , in a way not cast up;[16 ] To make their land desolate, and a perpetual hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished, and wag his head.

All things of God are replaced by paganism acts

God told us about clean and unclean foods - Now people eat and drink anything.

Holydays and Feasts of Yehovah are replaced by all the pagan feasts and traditions of the world.

God's calendar is replaced by Pope Greg's calendar.

New moon is not talked about any more except in Wiccan pagan circles.

God's Sabbath, the 7th day is replaced by the 1st day of the week known as Sunday – from when they use to worship the sun.

Consider these words again below:

The words below are from the Book of Lamentations chapters 1 to 5 - They can be applied exactly to our day in 2010

 http://oneinmessiah.net/OurDay2009.htm

Consider... as they were, so are we today – Nov. 2010

We are in captivity

We dwell among the heathen (nations)

None come to the solemn feasts

The Sabbaths are mocked

The heathen entered into her sanctuary, whom thou didst command that they should not enter into thy congregation.

All have transgressed and rebelled against His commandment

He hath violently taken away his tabernacle (His Presence is gone)

The law (Torah) is no more

Prophets find no vision from Yehovah

The prophets have seen vain and foolish things

For the sins of her prophets, and the iniquities of her priests, that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her

They (we) have polluted themselves with blood

Depart ye; it is unclean; depart, depart, touch not

Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities

Woe unto us that we have sinned!

Thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very wroth against us.

 ---------------------

In every generation, I believe, there are always a few chosen people of God that try to restore God's laws, commandments and feasts before He comes back.

 ---------------------

We are to be judges, priests and Kings now

Exod. 19 [6] And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

1 Pet. 2 [9] But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: [10] Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

---------------

Always prove all things

1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

--------

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew "thyself approved" unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Colossians 4:6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

--------

1 Pet. 3 [15] But sanctify Yehovah God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

All we need are the Scriptures for truth, correction, righteous judgment, faith, encouragement and so on.

We do not need made-up feasts or holidays to feel good.

We are told who to follow in scripture.

Good Advice:

Let’s follow Yeshua, the Apostles and Paul and observe these holy days of God in scripture, as they did -  not made-up holidays.

Read the verses below:

Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, First fruits, Feast of Tabernacles, Feast of Weeks known as Pentecost in the Gospels and Letters

Passover

Messiah our Passover

Matt 26 [2] Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.

[17] Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?

[18] And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.

[19] And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.

Mark 14 [1] After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.

[12] And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?

[14] And wheresoever he shall go in, say ye to the goodman of the house, The Master saith, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

[16] And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

Luke 2 [41] Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover.

Luke 22 [1] Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the passover.

[7] Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.

[8] And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.

[11] And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

[13] And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

[15] And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:

John 2 [13] And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,

[23] Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.

John 6 [4] And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.

John 11 [55] And the Jews' passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.

John 12 [1] Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.

John 13 [1] Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

John 18 [28] Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.

[39] But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passo

ver: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews?

John 19 [14] And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!

1 Cor. 5 [7] Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Messiah / Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

Heb. 11 [28] Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

-------------

Feast of unleavened bread

Matt. 26 [17] Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?

Mark 14 [1] After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.

[12] And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?

Luke 22 [1] Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.

[7] Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.

Acts 12 [3] And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)

Acts 20 [6] And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days.

1 Cor. 5 [7] Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Messiah / Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

[8] Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

-----------------

Firstfruits

Messiah the firstfruits

Rom. 8 [23] And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Rom. 16 [5] Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my wellbeloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ.

1 Cor. 15 [20] But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

[23] But every man in his own order: Messiah / Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Messiah / Christ's at his coming.

1 Cor. 16 [15] I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)

Jas. 1 [18] Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Rev. 14 [4] These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

------------------

Feasts of weeks – Pentecost 50

Acts 2 [1] And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

Acts 20 [16] For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.

1 Cor. 16 [8] But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.

----------

In John 7, Yeshua went to the Feast of Tabernacles and taught

----------

In conclusion,

Stay away from lies and made-up feasts and holidays of man.
