Shabbat Shalom

שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם

--------------------------------------------

Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s

Today is June 30, 2018 - in the 21 Century

Last day of the month

June -- Juno's month

Middle English jun(e)
Old French juin
Old English junius
Latin Junius "of Juno"
Latin Junius mensis "month of Juno"

Junius had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 30 days long.

Juno is the principle goddess of the Roman Pantheon. She is the goddess of marriage and the well-being of women.

She is the wife and sister of Jupiter. She is identified with the Greek goddess Hera.

Be safe on the 4th of July – Wednesday

-----------------------------------------------

We acknowledge Yehovah’s calendar

We are now in the 4th month, day 15 – This month has no scriptural name.

It is not Tammuz as Judaism and some Messianics say it is.

 Part of June / July

First, I will explain the Sabbath, the 4th commandment

This is how simple it is:

The Sabbath is the 4th Commandment of the covenant given to us at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month, Sivan

The 10 commandments are found in Exod. 20 and Deut. 5

Ex. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

זָכוֹר אֶת-יוֹם הַשַּׁבָּת, לְקַדְּשׁוֹ

[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

[10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God:

in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

-------------

זכר  Remember

zâkar - zaw-kar' - A primitive root; properly to mark (so as to be recognized), that is, to remember; by implication to mention; make mention of, be mindful, recount, record (-er), remember, make to be remembered, bring (call, come, keep, put) to (in) remembrance, still, think on, well.

Servile work- melakat avodah   מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה

Servile - עֲבֹדָה  avodah - work of any kind: act, bondservant, labour, service. Tillage, work

Work - מְלֶאכֶת  melakat - occupation, work, business public business

 --------

Isa. 58 [13] If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of Yehovah, honourable; and shalt honour him,

1 - not doing thine own ways,

2 - nor finding thine own pleasure,

3 - nor speaking thine own words:

[14] Then shalt thou delight thyself in Yehovah; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of Yehovah hath spoken it.

------------

Lev. 23 [3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an "holy convocation"; ye shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.

The Sabbath is a "holy convocation"

מקרא  miqra: convocation, convoking, reading, a calling together, sacred assembly, something called out, that is, a public meeting (the act, the persons, or the place); also a rehearsal

קדשׁ  kodesh: a sacred place or thing; consecrated, dedicated, hallowed, holiness, saint, sanctuary, apartness, sacredness, separateness, apartness, sacredness, holiness

Dwelling מושׁב  môshâv - seat, assembly, dwelling-place, dwelling, your  situation, location, (at) time of dwelling

 ------------

Buying and selling is evil on the Sabbath

Neh. 13 [16] There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the sabbathunto the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem.

[17] Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them,  What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day?

 ------------------------

60 times in the Gospels and letters it uses the word Sabbath!

--------------------

Let's see what Yeshua, Paul and the Apostles did:

Acts 13 [13] Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.  [14] But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and sat down.  [15] And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.

synagogue  - an assemblage of persons; place to study scriptures, a meeting  place; a assembly, a congregation.

----

Acts 15 [21] For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath day.
----

Luke 4 [16] And he, Yeshua came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom (prescribed by God's law) was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read.  [17] And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias.

----

Acts 13: [27] For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.

----

Acts 13 [42] And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

[44] And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

----

First day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread is a Sabbath – Luke 23:56

Luke. 23 [56] And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.

----

"In the future"

Yeshua said in Matt. 24 [20] But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day

---------------------------

Today’s Topic:

Rightly dividing the word of God truthfully

Some people say, I am confused, too much information, what to do?

Who is right?

Who is wrong?

Which religion, what congregation?

Who should I listen to about scripture?

The answer is simple:

All we have to do is use God’s Word to judge all things

Now, we are judges

Ye are gods, judges with God's Word to judge righteously

Yeshua said:

John 7

[24] Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

After this study, you will be able determine who is a truearbitrator, mediator, judge, or counselor or minister, (can you do it?)

Arbitrator - a person chosen to decide a dispute or settle differences, especially one formally empowered to examinethe facts and decide the issue.

Mediator - a person who mediates, especially between parties at variance

----------------

You should be able to examine any congregation or church and make a righteous judgment call, whether there are a few people or a large group if they are scriptural.

-----------

I coined a small dialogue a few years ago, it goes like this:

Are you sweeter, kinder, more gentile, more loving, and more forgiving then God?

When God gave the 10 commandments, did He give some people a few, other more? Did He say, you’re not ready yet, let’s take it slow?

I don’t think so

Paul, in his letter to the Galatians can determine and decide who will or will not inherit the kingdom of God. Can You?

Gal.5 [19] Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness [20] Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, [21] Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

---------------------

Damnable heresies

1 Cor.11 [18] For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
[
19] For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

2Pet.2- [1] But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

We always notice if there are divisions, then there must be heresies.

Most divisions are caused by people that do not know scripture and therefore heresies and bitterness fester and they are offended.

Sounds like you might need a checklist of what to do, where to attend

This checklist has 64 concerns and is in no certain order and I have gone over this many times

Some of these 64 concerns may have multiple parts

You might need to print this out

Let’s start:

The true answers are in the scriptures, search...

These are some things NOT to do or places NOT to ATTEND

1 -Does the church / synagogue or congregation believe Yeshua is the Messiah, the Word of Yehovah made flesh, Savior of the world?

(Make sure they don't believe Yeshua is just some man or just a prophet or leader)

------------

2

A -Does the church / synagogue or congregation you attend keep the 10 commandments?

Especially look for the 4th commandment, the Sabbath, which is on Friday sundown until Saturday sundown - no work, no buying and selling.

B -What is the main day your church, synagogue or congregation you attend meet, Saturday or Sunday? (Should be Saturday) Sunday is the first day of the week to work.

This eliminates most places

C -Does the church / synagogue or congregation you attend say it is a “commandment” to light candles on the Sabbath? (Very false – no such commandment in scripture)

D - Does the church / synagogue you attend welcome in the Sabbath Queen on the Sabbath? (Very false)

Judaism has many other false traditions, beware!

Don't be tricked and brought into a "messianic" group that follows Judaism - (hundreds of flavors now a days).

------------

3 -Does the church / synagogue or congregation you attend know and observe the "3 Feasts and holydays of Yehovah" (not from Judaism) or do they do pagan holidays?

Some pagan holidays and observances Not to observe:

Christmas - Jesus / Yeshua was not born in December – no Santa Clause in North Pole stuff…

Chanukah (same time as Christmas) – on the 25th of Kislev are the days of Chanukah, which are eight... - Shabbat 21b, Babylonian Talmud (we don't follow) Also made up

Don't buy a 8 or 9 candlestick Menorah, unscriptural, no 8 days of oil in the Maccabee stories – made up

Easter - lol – bunnies don’t lay eggs

Valentine’s Day

Saint Patrick Day

Thanksgiving (to whom?)

Halloween

Fat Tuesday

Lent

Conformation

Ash Wednesday - too many Catholic feasts to list

Kwanzaa

Judaism's Rosh Hashanah, New Year and Passovers are wrong (don't follow Jewish calendars, they have made-up names)

Bar or Bat - Mitzvahs

Tu B' Shevat - too many feasts in Judaism to list

Tisha B'Av

(Just anything you can't verify by the scriptures)

------------

4 -Does the church / synagogue or congregation you attend know about the "7 Sabbaths" in the feasts and holydays of Yehovah

--------------

5 - What version of scripture is used at the church / synagogue or congregation you attend?

Any version other then the verified KJV in English is erroneous.

This will show if the leader there did his or her homework on bible versions in English

There are hundreds of versions to confuse you.

You better do your home work on Bible versions, we did.

Don't be tricked and brought into a debate with someone you can tell did not do his or her due diligence in this matter.

------------

6 -Does the church / synagogue or congregation you attend add or diminish from the Word of Yehovah?

You shall not add neither shall you diminish from any word which Yehovah commands you

Deut. 4 [2] Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of Yehovah your God which I command you.

Deut. 12 [32] What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Prov. 30 [6] Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Many other books, commentaries, etc

------------

7 - What is the title of the leader of the church / synagogue or congregation you attend? (Make sure it is not rabbi or messianic rabbi or Father nor priest)

Matt. 23 Jesus / Yeshua said:

[8] But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Messiah; and all ye are brethren.

[9] And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

[10] Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Messiah

John 1 [38] Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwe8 -Does the church / synagogue or congregation you attend know about the calendar of Yehovah?

8 – Does the church / synagogue or congregation you attend know God’s calander?

------------

9 -Does the church / synagogue or congregation you attend know about Yehovah New Year?  Read Exod. 12:1, 2 - in Spring

------------

14 -Does the church / synagogue or congregation you attend "rent out" their buildings to other religions, businesses, garage sales, daycare centers, etc.?

------------

15 -Does the church / synagogue or congregation you attend follow the Two House Doctrine of today, not the Two Houses in the Scriptures? (Very false)

1 - Don't be tricked and brought into a Two House Doctrine of today (hundreds of flavors today 2018).

We do believe in the Two Houses of Jacob, Israel, in scripture that was gathered together?

Jesus / Yeshua did it:

John 11 [49] And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,
[50] Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.
[51] And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
[52] And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

2 - Also don't be tricked into believing you "might be" Yosef or Ephraim. (You never can prove that anyway, the name Ephraim shows up "only once" in the Gospels and letters only as a city)

Read:

Rev. 7 [4] And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.  (Ephraim is not named there)

[9] After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

[10] And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

------------

20 -Does the church / synagogue or congregation you attend follow the preterist doctrine? (very false)

Preterism is a Christian eschatological view that interprets prophecies of the Bible as events which have already happened. Daniel is interpreted as events that happened in the second century BC, while Revelation is interpreted as events that happened in the first century AD.

Preterism holds that Ancient Israel finds its continuation or fulfillment in the Christian church at the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70.

The term preterism comes from the Latin praeter, which is listed in Webster's 1913 dictionary as a prefix denoting that something is "past" or "beyond", signifying that either all or a majority of Bible prophecy was fulfilled by AD 70.

Adherents of preterism are commonly known as preterists.

They say you can’t say God, Lord, glory, Jesus, and all the rest…

They say - renewed covenant - wrong

****Purpose of the fringe, which was a reminder

[4] And I saw thrones, (in a vision) and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded (martyrs, they are dead) for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ / Messiah a thousand years. (It never says it is on the earth)

[5] But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

[6] Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection:

These people missed the thousand year situation and they are blessed and holy

63 - Does the church / synagogue or congregation you attend believe it is ok to eat any meat or fish like pork, shrimp, catfish, clams, lobsters etc.?
