We are spiritually on a seven week
journey that we observe, in memorial to meet God again on Mt. Sinai to receive
the commandments and receive the Spirit of God.
This Sabbath is
the “sixth Sabbath” of the seven Sabbaths we were told to count.
From slaves in Egypt
(our last lives of sin) to the people of God
The giving of the Law
(10 commandments) and the giving of the Holy Spirit

An "omer" is a
"sheaf" of barley,עמר omer - A dry measure of 1/10 ephah (about 2 liters)
Lev.23 [15] And ye
shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye
brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
[16] Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty
days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto Yehovah.

Today’s Topic:
Sivan is here, the third month of the God of Israel
Exod.19 [1] In
the third month,
when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same
day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.
[2]
For they were departed from Rephidim,
and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and
there Israel camped before the mount.
[3]
And Moses went up unto God, and Yehovah called
unto him out of the mountain, saying,
Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;
[4] Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on
eagles' wings,
and brought you unto myself.
[5] Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my
covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all
the earth is mine:[6] And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy
nation.
These
are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
[7]
And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their
faces all these words which Yehovah commanded him.
[8]
And all the people answered together, and said, All
that Yehovah hath spoken we will do.
And
Moses returned the words of the people unto Yehovah.
[9] And Yehovah said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud,
that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever.
And
Moses told the words of the people unto Yehovah.
[10]
And Yehovah said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow,
and let them wash their clothes,
[11]
And be ready against the third day: for the third
day Yehovah will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount
Sinai.
[12]
And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to
yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it:
whosoever toucheth
the mount shall be surely put to death:
[13] There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or
shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth
long, they shall come up to the mount.
[14]
And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people;
and they washed their clothes.
[15] And he said unto the people, Be
ready against the third day: come not at your wives.
[16]
And it came to pass on the third day in the morning,
that there were thunders and lightnings,
and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud;
so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.
[17]
And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they
stood at the nether part of the mount.
[18]
And mount
Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because Yehovah descended upon it in fire: and
the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount
quaked greatly.
[19] And
when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed
louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.
[20] And Yehovah came down upon mount Sinai, on the
top of the mount: and Yehovah called Moses up to the top of the mount; and
Moses went up.

Yehovah said unto Moses , Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto Yehovah to gaze, and
many of them perish.
[22] And let the priests also, which come near to Yehovah, sanctify themselves,
lest Yehovah break forth upon them .

Moses said unto Yehovah, The people cannot come up to mount
Sinai: for thou chargedst
us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.
[24] And Yehovah said unto him, Away, get thee
down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the
priests and the people break through to come up
unto Yehovah, lest he break forth upon them.
[25]
So Moses went down unto the people, and spake unto them.

He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the
word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me
[25] These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
[26] But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the
Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all
things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
[27]
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give
I unto you. Let not your
heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
[28] Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and
come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I
go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
[29]
And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass,
ye might believe.
[30] Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world
cometh, and hath nothing in me.
[31] But that the world may know that I love the
Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let
us go hence.

Yeshua said:

spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
[2] They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that
whosoever killeth you will think that he

[4] But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may
remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the
beginning, because I was with you.
[5] But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?
[6] But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your
heart.

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for
you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come
unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
[8] And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of
righteousness, and of judgment:
[9] Of sin, because
they believe not on me;
[10] Of
righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
[11] Of
judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
[12] I have yet many things to
say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
[13] Howbeit
when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all
truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that
shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
[14] He shall
glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
[15] All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore
said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
[16] A little while, and ye
shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go
to the Father.

Acts 1 [4] And, being assembled together with them, commanded them
that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait
for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. [5]
For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy

Wait
We are in an enduring contest; we need to wait on God for all
things.
Luke 21 [19] In your patience possess ye your souls.
Matt. 10 [22] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end
shall be saved.

Just think for a moment, in this short study, I just spoke
with you about topics
in the Bible that have never been discussed or mentioned nor observed in your
life.
They have been deleted from
their knowledge. When not observed, it is SIN
