and Churches in the scriptures
There are
many inferences of the word books in the scriptures, here are a few:
Gen.5 [1]
This is the
book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in
the likeness of God made he him; [2] Male and female created
he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they
were created.
Exod.17 [14]
And Yehovah, said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and
rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance
of Amalek from under heaven.
Exod.24 [7]
And he took the book of the covenant, and
read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that Yehovah, hath said will we do, and

Contradictions to the Bible In Jasher
There
are many contradictions to the Bible in the book of Jasher.
Here are just a few:
Jasher 13:5 says that Abram went to the land of
Canaan at the age of 50 then back to Haran and back to Canaan at age 75,
Genesis 12:4 states that Abram was 75 when he departed Haran.
Jasher 18:9 states that one of the angels tells
Abraham that Sarah will have a son, but Gen. 17:16 says that God told Abraham.
Jasher 22:44-45 says the Lord got the idea of
presenting Isaac as an offering from Isaac’s boast to
Ishmael. We know, of course, that God is sovereign and as it says in Gen.
22:1-2 & 12 that the Lord was testing Abraham.
Genesis 28:5 states that
Isaac sent Jacob to Padan-aram unto Laban but Jasher 29:11 says that he fled to the house of Eber
and hid there for 14 years.
Jasher 47:9 says Isaac dies, according to the
chronology of Jasher, Joseph was in Egypt but in Gen. 35:29 Isaac died before
Joseph had his dreams.
Simeon
could not be bound in Jasher 51:37 but in Genesis. 42:24 Simeon is bound before their eyes.
Jasher 51:26-32 -- The brothers tell Joseph (whom
they don’t
recognize) that they are looking for their brother (him). Genesis 42:6-14.
Jahser 78:12-13 -- Pharaoh proclaims no more straw
but same amount of bricks (before Moses goes to Pharaoh.) Exodus 5:1,7-8 says it happened after Moses confronts Pharaoh.
Jasher 80:1 "and at the end of two years
the Lord sent Moses to Pharaoh" while Exodus 7:14-15 says, "The Lord
said unto Moses get thee unto Pharaoh in the morning.

The Author's
Imagination?
Jasher 7:24-30; This passage says the skins that
God made for Adam and his wife went to Enoch after their death, then to Methuselah,
then to Noah, then Ham stole them and gave them to Cush. They were then passed
to Nimrod who became strong when he put on the "magic" garments. Jasher 27:1-11 says that Esau kills Nimrod and takes Adams
skins.
Jasher 36:30-35 -- 120 terrible animals from the
wilderness came to the asses of Anan. Their shape was
from the middle downward of the children of man, and from their middle upward
some the likeness of bears, some keephas with tails
behind them from between their shoulders reaching down to earth.
Jasher 61:15 -- Zepho
kills beast, half man and half animal, "from the middle upward it
resembled a man, and from the middle downward it resembled an animal."
Jasher 67:8-52 -- Balaam, Job, and Reuel in Egypt at the same time. Reuel
takes Joseph’s
stick and returns to Midian.
Jasher 70:1-33 -- At age 3 Moses puts
Pharaoh's crown on his head.
Jasher 73 -- King Moses of Cush raises storks to
devour serpents that guard city.
Jasher 77:26-51-- Moses beholds the sapphire
stick (67:41) in the garden of Reuel with the name of
Lord God on stick. (Adam took stick from Eden then it came to Noah, then to
Shem, then to Abraham to Isaac, Jacob took it then in Egypt and he gave it to
Joseph. After Joseph died Reuel took it and planted
it.)
Chapter
IV:18 And their judges and rulers went to the daughters of men and took their
wives by force (rape) from their husbands according to their choice,
And the sons of men in those days took from the
cattle of the earth, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and
taught the mixture of animals of one species with the other, In order to
provoke the Lord.
It
should be obvious that "today’s many Books Of
Jasher" are certainly not inspired
and should be discarded.

υναγωγή sunagoge {soon-ag-o-gay'} A Greek word
Meaning: 1) a bringing together, gathering, a contracting 2) in the Gospels, an
assembling together of men, an assembly of men 3) a synagogue 3a) an assembly
of Jews formally gathered together to offer prayers and listen to the reading
and expositions of the scriptures; assemblies of that sort were held every
Sabbath and feast day, the name transferred to an assembly of Christians
formally gathered together for religious purposes 3b) the buildings where those
solemn Jewish assemblies are held.
Synagogues
seem to date their origin from the Babylonian exile.
In the times
of Jesus and the apostles every town, not only in Israel, but also among the
Gentiles if it contained a considerable number of Jewish inhabitants, had at
least one synagogue, the larger towns several or even many. These were also
used for trials and inflicting punishment.

Church: ekklesia {ek-klay-see'-ah}
Meaning: A gathering of citizens called out from their homes into some public
place, an assembly
An assembly of the people convened at the public place of the council
for the purpose of deliberating

gathering or throng of men assembled by chance, tumultuously - in a Christian
sense - an assembly of Christians gathered for worship in a religious meeting
A company of Christian, or of those who, hoping for eternal salvation

In closing:
A few last words for now…
The Bible’s nomenclature is wrong.
(A system of names assigned to objects or items in a particular way)
The TaNaKh, pseudo – Christians call the Old Testament and the Gospels and letters they
call the New Testament, which is wrong, therefore causing many problems.
My
reasoning is that the TaNaKh and the Gospels and
letters should have never been put together as one book.
For
whatever reason, we never see dates in the Gospels and letters. Time seems to
just getaway. It makes it hard to be exact in dating anything.
We can just
see only a small assortment of places for believers to attend.
In the
Gospels and letters the word Yehovah is totally
missing, even in the Greek.
There
are no exact ages of most people in the Gospels and letters.
There
is no mention of the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD and it seems that all
the letters and Revelation must have been written before the destruction or
they would have mentioned it.

Below are some other erroneous, un-inspired books and people not to listen
to or use.
HEBREW MATTHEW - Shem Tob - du Tillet - Munster - Are we to believe and trust
these references by Origen and his student Eusebius?
It was Origen was deceived by
education and philosophy who upon receipt of pure
copies of scripture altered them to parallel his twisted thinking. He is the
father of all Bible critics and is not only responsible for the physical
manuscripts which delete such verses as Luke 24:40, Acts 8:37 and I John 5:7,
but he is also responsible for the Alexandrian philosophy parroted by so many
of our fundamental scholars who claim that "The Bible is perfect and
infallible" with one breath and then state "The Bible has mistakes
and mistranslations" with the very next. It is this demented ideology that
gave birth to the corrupt Alexandrian manuscripts in the first place.
"As having learnt by tradition
concerning the four Gospels, which alone are unquestionable in the Church of
God under heaven, that first was written according to Matthew, who was once a
tax collector but afterwards an apostle of Jesus Christ, who published it for
those who from Judaism came to believe, composed as it was in the Hebrew
language." - Origen (Eusebius, H.E. 6.25.4)
"Matthew collected the oracles
(ta logia) in the Hebrew language, and each
interpreted them as best he could." - Papias
(Eusebius, H.E. 3.39.16)

Beware of those who present the Shem
Tob version of Matthew as an accurate representation
of a manuscript.
Many believers in Messiah Yeshua are being led by unbelievers to accept an unscriptual version of pseudo Hebrew Matthew which was
found as a part of a polemic document entitled Eban Bohan. This document was authored by Shem Tob, an unbelieving Jewish theologian.
Many unbelievers are going around
the country promoting this trash.
Quoting Professor George Howard,
translator of Shem Tob:
In regard to theology, Shem-tob’s Hebrew Matthew is heretical according to the standard
of traditional Christianity. It never identifies Jesus with the Messiah. John
the Baptist is given an exalted role (even takes on messianic traits), --- Shem-Tob’s text envisions
the salvation of the Gentiles only in the Messianic era.

his websites advertisements for his new book, The Pagan Christian Connection

Michael Rood's promotion
introduces the tour by focusing the reader on the find of the Dead Sea Scrolls,
which incidentally were found in 1947. That information has nothing whatsoever
to do with the Shem Tov Matthew or any Hebrew
Matthews, which originated in Europe between 1300-1500.
It is no less than an attempt by Michael Rood and Nehemia
Gordon to parallel the Hebrew Matthews with the Dead Sea Scrolls and present
Shem Tov as being newly "unearthed", when
in fact, it has been known of for years and was found on a bookshelf in
someone's library.
The supposed
"original" Hebrew Matthews are from the 1400-1500 range CE.
Precisely, Shem Tov or Shem Tob
is dated 1380, while DuTillet and Muenster are about
1550. Together they make up the "Middle Ages Matthews" but, they are
very different, and as one stated, that is one of the ironies.
Michael Rood and Nehemiah Gordon are attempting to present the Shem Tov version of Matthew as an accurate, and original representation of the Gospel of Matthew. Shem Tov's "Matthew", or Shem Tob's Matthew as some call it, which rosetta.reltech.org/TC/vol03/Petersen1998a.html">textual critic
s will tell you, is nothing more than an altered medieval text, which is a corrupt copy of the Latin text, which was originally copied from the Greek. Most legitimate textual critics have all but ignored this middle age manuscript. a shepherd boy stumbled upon a cave filled with ancient Hebrew manuscripts
sealed in clay jars. These manuscripts became known as the Dead Sea Scrolls. This
discovery fanned a hope among New Testament scholars that someday ancient
Hebrew texts of the Gospels might also be unearthed.
Notice
how Rood and Gordon are trying to equate Shem Tov as
like a 2000 year old NT.
A
few years ago Biblical historian and author, Michael Rood, was in Jerusalem
working on a longstanding textual problem in the book of Matthew. He formalized
his problem and approached a friend, Nehemia Gordon,
a textual scholar at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. At the time, Nehemia was working as a translator on the Dead Sea Scrolls
Publication Project. Nehemia, who is fluent in ancient Hebrew, Aramaic, Syriac,
and Greek, agreed to participate in the investigation.
They
add Greek here, has anybody ever heard Nehemiah speak a sentence in Greek ? Does he claim that in the book? or
is this "embellishment" -- perhaps our friend with the book can
check. Nehemiah told me he knows nothing about NT scholarship, and in his Yehiva-bucher
background he would not learn Greek.
What
developed from his research is about to shake the Christian world.
They
found nothing significant that had not been written about many years earlier.

Munster and DuTillet have been known about, and
discussed, for ages, in NT scholarship circles. "Hebrew in the
Church" by Pinchas Lapide
gives references to lots of various scholarship on all
of them.

of Matthew.

texts solved problems that had grieved scholars for centuries.

hundred years ago, "Church Fathers" such as Origen and Jerome
testified that "Matthew wrote his gospel in the Hebrew language" and
that it was later translated into other languages.

Origen (actually Eusebius quoting Origen) - tawdry scholarship.
We have a lot on Hebrew Matthew issues in our archives -- there are references
to this Hebrew Matthew of stories that are not in our Gospel of Matthew..the excellent CCEL footnote, and two Jerome quotes are in

early Hebrew copies apparently vanished in the fires of Roman religious
persecution. But, unknown to the Christian world, the Hebrew text of Matthew's
Gospel was preserved by Jewish scholars who kept it safely hidden in covert
archives.
Another big lie. Completely
fabricated. Gordon and Rood need to make a public retraction
and repudiation of this if they ever want to have any hope of being taken seriously .
Numbers
of Hebrew manuscripts of Matthew's account have survived centuries of exile and
are now being brought to light.
More
lies. In addition to the well-known Shem Tov, there
is also the unrelated and also well-known Munster (a skilled Christian Hebraist
linguist who made what was essentially an evangelical version of Matthew for
the Jews - see Pinchas Lapide,
Hebrew in the Church) and DuTillet, which is a
spruced up Munster. All of these have been kicking around scholarly dustbins
and journals and studies for awhile, -- while awaiting scam promoters like Trimm, Rood and Gordon, and a public with little
background, balance and sense on scriptural issues, and some disposable cash.
These
ancient manuscripts of the Hebrew Gospel of Matthew are the "Dead Sea
Scrolls of the New Testament".

Nehemia feels that, in many ways, these
texts of Matthew are actually more important than the Dead Sea Scrolls
themselves.
This
is truly sad and sick to read. Nehemiah can have no more credibility in any
circles if he allows this to be published as his view. Hopefully someone
involved with such a sham promotion will no longer be involved in real
projects, like the DSS projects with Emanuel Tov.

Matthew, also called Levi, apostle and aforetimes
publican, composed a gospel of Christ at first published in Judea in Hebrew for
the sake of those of the circumcision who believed, but this was afterwards
translated into Greek though by what author is uncertain. The Hebrew itself has
been preserved until the present day in the library at Caesarea which Pamphilus so diligently gathered. I have also had the
opportunity of having the volume described to me by the Nazarenes of Beroea, a city of Syria, who use it. In this it is to be
noted that wherever the Evangelist, whether on his own account or in the person
of our Lord the Saviour quotes the testimony of the
Old Testament he does not follow the authority of the translators of the
Septuagint but the Hebrew. Wherefore these two forms exist "Out
of Egypt have I called my son," and "for he shall be called a
Nazarene."

Well, I can speak for myself. In 2002 in Jerusalem I was at the series of talks
that Nehemiah gave in Jerusalem, at the house of Michael Rood, and we talked a
little about Shem Tov back then.
And later I attended his talk on Shem Tov on Paltalk, the first one, and afterwards talked to him
privately quite extensively, in one long session, about the problems and deceptions
and errors, both on the specific arguments that were raised, and on the textual
background of ShemTov in particular, and the NT in
general. And basically Nehemiah pleaded ignorance on NT issues, since he has no
scholarly background in the NT whatsoever, and it has no place on his spiritual
radar

Nehemiah an analogy if someone tried to destroy his
faith in the received Masoretic Text, to replace or
rewrite the Tanach, on such an absurd basis as Shem Tov, they should not expect a warm reception in the Jewish

clearly embarrassing topic of the phrase "Dead Sea Scrolls New Testatment". Apparently at that time Nehemiah was
upset that Rood had prematurely used the term, on his own accord. This whole
usage of that term was what really made clear the stench of their whole
endeavor and collaboration, later made worse by the string of lies they placed
around the term.
So, I would say that I am up to speed on what is involved here.
At the talk Nehemiah gave three or four examples from the Shem Tov. Other than seat of Moses, the others were of no substance, they were so nothing that I have forgot them by
now, if you want to put a couple of them in the forum here to jog memory, I
will be happy to discuss them.
