 Shabbat Shalom

 שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם

  Let’s pray

 --------------------------------------------

Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s

Today is December 2, 2017 - in the 21 Century

December -- the tenth month - now it is the 12th month

Middle English decembre
Old French decembre
Latin december "tenth month"
Latin decem "ten" + -ber (adj. suffix)

December had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 31 days long.

 -----------------

We acknowledge God’s calendar

We are now in the ninth month of God called Chislev כִסְלֵו  - 12th day

Zech.7 [1] And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of Yehovah came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu - Chislev

Always remember: Embellished made-up stories are still lies!

Sad to say, I know most of the world is getting ready to do the made up holidays Chanukah and Christmas now.

I get so many emails about these holidays to buy, buy, and buy.

Another year goes by and a new generation of the youth is deceived.

Tis the season to be pagan” is all around us!

I am reminded always to inform you to beware of the false image of love, false emotions, loneliness, depression, financial drain, suicide.

Be aware of the artificial, false festival lights and music they put up.

Satan really sets the stage for you.

Beware if you feel or hear a voice telling you to separate yourself from the congregation, go off on your own and read or whatever.

Scriptures says:

Prov.11 [14] Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.

Today Topic:

The heavens do declare the glory of God

Below, please find answers to questions that professors, scientists and other academics can’t even answer today in 2017 - soon 2018.

This is just a partial list:

Pss.19 [1] The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Question: How did the universe and earth come into existence?

Question: Is there a beginning? When was the beginning?

Question: When were time, force, energy, space, and matter created?

Question: How many universes are there?

Question: God or nothing, and the big bang created all things?

Answers:

Gen.1 [1] In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth

In the beginning - time

God - force

Created - energy

The heavens - space

And the earth – matter

Another words, one universe all at once

Again we read - Gen.2 [1] Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

[2] And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

[3] And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all his work which God created and made.

[4] These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that Yehovah God made the earth and the heavens

Question: Where did light come from?

Answer: Gen. 1[3] And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
[4] And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Question: where did day and night come from?

Answer: Gen. 1[5] And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Question: How many hours in a day? How many days in a week? Where did evening and morning come from?

Answers:

Gen.1[5] And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Gen.2[1] the seventh day He ended

Question: Where did the Sun, moon and the stars come from?

Answer: Gen. 1 [16] And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

[17] And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
[18] And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

[19] And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

After God first created all things, no more will be created

The First Law of Thermodynamics - This law states that neither matter nor energy may be created or destroyed, but they may change forms.

Big bang supposedly exploded, destroyed… how can that create anything?

Question: What came first, the chicken or the egg?

Answer: the chicken

Gen. 2 [5] And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for Yehovah God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

Same for the chicken:

Gen 1:24

And God said, let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, the beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

25: and God ade the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle aftertheir kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Question: Where did man /male and woman / female come from?

Answer:

Gen.5 [1] This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; [2] Male and female created He (God) them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

Gen.1 [27] So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Question: Where did institution of marriage come from? Who is to be joined together in marriage?

Answer: Gen. 2 [24] Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Question: Are constellations, stars in scripture?

Answer:

Orion, a constellation

Arcturus  - A Star in the constellation Boötes

Pleiades, Open cluster in the constellation of Taurus  - also known as the Seven Sisters

noted constellations (only in the plural) - Mazzoroth

Here are the verses:

Job – 9 [1] Then Job answered and said,
[2] I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with God?
[3] If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.
[4] He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered?
[5] Which removeth the mountains, and they know not: which overturneth them in his anger.
[6] Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.

[7] Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars.
[8] Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea.
[9] Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.

[10] Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.

[11] Lo, he goeth by me, and I see him not: he passeth on also, but I perceive him not.

[12] Behold, he taketh away, who can hinder him? who will say unto him, What doest thou?

Job.26 [1] But Job answered and said,
[2] How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?
[3] How hast thou counselled Him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?
[4] To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?
[5] Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.
[6] Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.

[7] He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.

It is said - There is a place in the North where no stars exist, which cannot be seen with the naked eye.

[8] He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
[9] He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth His cloud upon it.
[10] He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.
[11] The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.
[12] He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.
[13] By His spirit he hath garnished the heavens; His hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
[14] Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?

Job.38 [31] Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
[32] Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?
[33] Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?

Amos.5 [8] Seek Him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: Yehovah is his name…

----------------------

Question: Where did the north and south come from?

Answer:

Pss.89 [5] And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, Yehovah: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.

[11] The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

[12] The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.

----------------------------------

David rightly says:

Pss.97[6] The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

Pss.102 [25] Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

The Second Law of Thermodynamics – entropy - also leaves us to conclude that the creation is not forever. It is temporary.  The creation had a beginning, and it will have an end.

Pss.102 [26] They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

[27] But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.

Isa.51 [6] Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

[13] And forgettest Yehovah thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?

[16] And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.

David says again:

Pss.104 [1] Bless Yehovah, O my soul. Yehovah my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.
[2] Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
[3] Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
[4] Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
[5] Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.
[6] Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
[7] At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.
[8] They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.
[9] Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
[10] He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.
[11] They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.
[12] By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.
[13] He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
[14] He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;
[15] And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.
[16] The trees of Yehovah are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;
[17] Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.
[18] The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.
[19] He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.
[20] Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.
[21] The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.
[22] The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.
[23] Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.
[24] Yehovah, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
[25] So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.
[26] There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.
[27] These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.
[28] That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.
[29] Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.
[30] Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
[31] The glory of Yehovah shall endure for ever: Yehovah shall rejoice in his works.
[32] He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.
[33] I will sing unto Yehovah as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
[34] My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in Yehovah.
[35] Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou Yehovah, O my soul. Praise ye Yehovah.

Pss.136

[1] O give thanks unto Yehovah; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
[2] O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
[3] O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.
[4] To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.
[5] To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.
[6] To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.
[7] To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:
[8] The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever:
[9] The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Solomon, David’s son says:

Prov.3 [19] Yehovah by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.

Prov.8 [27] When He prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth

Question: is the earth flat, where you can fall off or a circle?

Question: Are the heavens stretched out?

Answers: The prophet Isaiah says:

Isa.40 [22] It is He that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in…

Isa.42 [5] Thus saith God Yehovah, He that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein…

Isa.44 [24] Thus saith Yehovah, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am Yehovah that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by Myself

Question: Is the earth said to have inhabitants?

Answer:

Isa.45 [12] I have made the earth, and created man upon it:

I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

[18] For thus saith Yehovah that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited: I am Yehovah; and there is none else.

-----------------------

Isa.48 [13] Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and My right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.

Question: Is outer space light or dark?

Answer:

Isa.50 [3] I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.

Lightnings, rain, wind…

Jer.51 [16] When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth: he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

Zech.12 [1] The burden of the word of Yehovah for Israel, saith Yehovah, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

1Kgs.22 [19] And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of Yehovah: I saw Yehovah sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

Saul tells us:

Question: What are these terms today, dark matter and dark energy?

Answers:

Heb.1 [1] God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
[2] Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds;
[3] Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
[4] Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Heb.11[1] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.[2] For by it the elders obtained a good report.

[3] Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Col.1[16] For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him:

[17] And He is before all things, and by Him, God, all things consist.

Brother John says:L

John.1 [1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
[2] The same was in the beginning with God.
[3] All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.
[4] In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.
[5] And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

[6] There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
[7] The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
[8] He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
[9] That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
[10] He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
[11] He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
[12] But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
[13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
[14] And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
[15] John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was He of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
[16] And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

---------------------------------------

I will explain the Sabbath again quickly, if needed.

The Sabbath is not "a service" for an hour and a half, but the Sabbath is a "whole 24 hr. day" to the God of Israel, the 4th Commandment.

The Sabbath is not every day

Scriptures says: Exod.20 [10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God:

in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

The word Sabbath is "60 times" in the Gospels and letters

Question: S0 why are we here today?

Answer: We were told to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

The Sabbath is the 4th Commandment and part of the “covenant” given to us at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month, Sivan

Ex. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yehovah thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.

--------

Lev. 23 [1] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,

Concerning the feasts of Yehovah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.

[3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.

Within your gates - in all your dwellings

Unto this day, some people are still breaking the 4th commandment each week by not keeping the Sabbath as it is described above.

I shall again define a few words for you:

Remember

זכר zâkar - zaw-kar' - A primitive root; properly to mark (so as to be recognized), that is, to remember; by implication to mention; make mention of, be mindful, recount, record (-er), remember, make to be remembered, bring (call, come, keep, put) to (in) remembrance, still, think on, well.

----------

Holy Convocation

מקרא   miqra: convocation, convoking, reading, a calling together, sacred assembly, something called out, that is, a public meeting (the act, the persons, or the place); also a rehearsal

קדשׁ   kodesh: a sacred place or thing; consecrated, dedicated, hallowed, holiness, saint, sanctuary, apartness, sacredness, separateness, apartness, sacredness, holiness

----------

No Servile work - melakat avodah   מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה

עֲבֹדָה  avodah - work of any kind: act, bondservant, labor, service, tillage, work

מְלֶאכֶת melakat – occupation

------------

Dwelling

משׁב/מושׁב  môshâv - seat, assembly, dwelling-place, dwelling, your  situation, location, (at) time of dwelling

------------------------
