  Shabbat Shalom

שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם

Let’s pray

Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s

Today is Oct. 1, 2016

October -- the eighth month – now it is the 10th month

Middle English octobre
Latin October
Latin octo "eight" + -ber (adj. suffix)
Latin october mensis "eighth month"

October has always had 31 days.

 ----------

Yehovah has His own calendar

We are now in the sixth month of God called Elul, 29th day

These 2 verses below indicated to us Elul must be the 6th month

Neh. 6 [15] So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul, אֱלוּל  in fifty and two days.

Neh. 7 [73] So the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel were in their cities.

We read from law and the prophets every Sabbath like they did in the Book of Acts.

Acts: 13 [15] And after the reading of the law and the prophets…

Luke 24 [44] And Yeshua said unto them, These are the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

The Word of God - Torah, Prophets and Writings (psalms)

Ta Na Kk is an acronym for:

T = Torah (law, teachings) - first 5 books of Moses

N = Navi' eem or prophets (pl. sounds like - Na vi eem)

K = Ke'tuvim or writings (psalms etc.)

At this point, there were neither gospels nor letters.

Here are the dates for this year, 2016

Remember, they all start the evening before!

Monday October 3rd, 2016 - memorial of blowing of trumpets - Sabbath

Wednesday, October 12, 2016 - a day of atonement - Sabbath

Monday, October 17th, 2016 to Monday, October 24th, 2016 – two Sabbaths - the feast of tabernacles

Remember: 4 extra Sabbaths, Holy convocations

---------------------------------

I have explained the Sabbath, the 7th day, many times,

This is how simple it is:

Question

Why are we here today?

Answer:

We were told to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

----------

The 4th Commandment is a part of the covenant given to us at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month, Sivan

Exod. 20

[8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

[10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God:

in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

 ------------

Deut. 5

[12] Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as Yehovah thy God hath commanded thee.
[13] Six days thou
shalt labour, and do all thy work:
[14] But the seventh day is the
sabbath of Yehovah thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.

[15] And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that Yehovah thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore Yehovah thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

------------

Lev. 23

[3] Six days shall work be done:

but

the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an holy convocation;

ye shall do no work therein:

it is the Sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.

The sabbath is a "holy convocation"

מקרא   miqra: convocation, convoking, reading, a calling together, sacred assembly, something called out, that is, a public meeting (the act, the persons, or the place); also a rehearsal

קדשׁ   kodesh: a sacred place or thing; consecrated, dedicated, hallowed, holiness, saint, sanctuary, apartness, sacredness, separateness, apartness, sacredness, holiness to the God of Israel

No Servile work- melakat avodah   מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה

עֲבֹדָה  avodah - work of any kind: act, bondservant, labor, service, tillage, work

מְלֶאכֶת  melakat - occupation

--------

Isa. 58 [13] If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of Yehovah, honourable; and shalt honour him,

1 - not doing thine own ways,

2 - nor finding thine own pleasure,

3 - nor speaking thine own words:

[14] Then shalt thou delight thyself in Yehovah; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of Yehovah hath spoken it.

------------------------

Buying and selling is evil on the Sabbath

Neh. 13 [16] There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the Sabbath unto the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem.

[17] Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, what evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the Sabbath day?

------------------------

60 times in the Gospels and letters it uses the word Sabbath!

--------------------

Let's see what Yeshua, Paul and the Apostles did on the Sabbath:

Acts 13 [13] Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.  [14] But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and sat down.  [15] And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.

----

Acts 15 [21] For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath day.
----

Luke 4 [16] And he, Yeshua came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom (prescribed by God's law, torah) was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read.  [17] And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias.

----

Acts 13: [27] For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.

----

Acts 13 [42] And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

[44] And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

----

This is the First day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, a Sabbath

Luke. 23 [56] And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the Sabbath day according to the commandment. (In Exod. 20, Deut. 5)

----

"Sabbath in the future"

Yeshua said in Matt. 24 [20] But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day

-------

Isa. 66 - A Sabbath, even after the new heavens and the new earth are created

[22] For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith Yehovah, so shall your seed and your name remain.

[23] And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all (new body) flesh come to worship before me, saith Yehovah.

[24] And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

Today’s Topic:

Time again to clear up all the false holiday lies

People are sending me already their misled Judaism sayings:

May you be written down and inscribed for a good year

L'Shanah Tovah Tikatevu: The literal Hebrew to English translation is "May you be inscribed (in the Book of Life) for a good year." This traditional Rosh HaShanah greeting wishes others a good year and is often shorted to "Shanah Tovah" (Good Year) or "L'Shanah Tovah."

G'mar Chatimah Tovah: The literal Hebrew to English translation is "May your final sealing (in the Book of Life) be good." This greeting is traditionally used between Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur.

Yom Tov: The literal Hebrew to English translation is "Good Day." This phrase is often used in place of the English word "holiday" during the High Holidays of Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur. Somes Jews will also use the Yiddish version of the phrase, "Gut Yuntiff," which means "A Good Holiday."

Here is a short list of things to know about:

1: It will be the New Moon

2: It will be ha Ethanim not Tishri

3: It will be the seventh month not the First month

4: It will be a memorial of Blowing of Trumpets not Rosh Hashanah

5: It will be at the year's end, not the beginning of the year

6: God has "One" Calendar, not "Two" as Judaism states

7: It’s not Adam’s birthday

8: It’s not when the world started

9: Only 3 feasts not 7 feasts

10: Judaism made up 4 new years – there is only one

11. Sukkoth, Booths, covered with branches and decorated with hanging fruit, vegetables, and other decorations?

12.Ushpizin - Mythic guests invited to Sukkoth. NO!

13. Judaism makes a big deal about the Lulav- Palm branch, with myrtle and willow sprigs attached and the Etrog – the Citron

-------------------

Question: Should we call the 7th month Tishri like Judaism or some Messianics?

Answer: NO!

The word Tishri is not mentioned even once in TaNaK.

Scripture calls the 7th month ha Ethanim in 1 Kings 8:2

1 Kgs. 8 [2] And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month (ha) Ethanim, which is the seventh month.

It is the 7th month, not new years, Rosh Hashanah

God’s New Year is in Exod. 12:2, in Spring, at Passover

This month shall be unto you the beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you

הַחֹדֶשׁ הַזֶּה לָכֶם, רֹאשׁ חֳדָשִׁיםרִאשׁוֹן הוּא לָכֶם, לְחָדְשֵׁי הַשָּׁנָה

There is no scripture to prove the world was created then, the birthday of creation, nor can anyone prove it was Adam's birthday - all made up

-----------------------------

Soon

Ha Ethanim - הָ אֵ תָ נִים

The alef and tav, first and last (forever)

Ha Ethanim = “enduring” - the permanent brooks flow

הָאֵתָנִים - ha Ethanim - Always with the article ha, the - permanent brooks;

Ethanim = enduring - seventh month, corresponding end of Sept, Oct. - so named because permanent streams still flowed - plural below:

איתן eythan - perpetual, constant, perennial, ever-flowing, ever-flowing (of a stream), permanence, permanent, enduring (figuratively)

Messiah is the Living waters:

Jer. 2 [13] For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

---------------

Jer. 17 [13] Yehovah, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken Yehovah, the fountain of living waters .

---------------

The feasts and holydays of Yehovah are all about the Messiah’s 1st and 2nd comings

Colossians 2:16:

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days: 17: Which are a shadow of "things to come";(future tense)but the body is of Messiah.

---------------

The reason I give you these words in their original language so you can get more exact meaning!

--------

Shadow - σκια skia : shadow, an image cast by an object and representing the form of that object, a sketch, outline

--------

The forgotten signs, and seasons of God, it is all about meeting God at His time, place and season

Gen.1 [14] And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night

and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

 וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים, יְהִי מְאֹרֹת בִּרְקִיעַ הַשָּׁמַיִם, לְהַבְדִּיל, בֵּין הַיּוֹם וּבֵין הַלָּיְלָה; וְהָיוּ לְאֹתֹת וּלְמוֹעֲדִים, וּלְיָמִים וְשָׁנִים

[15] And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

[16] And God made two great lights;

the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

[17] And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

[18] And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness:  and God saw that it was good.

[19] And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Sad to say, I know most of the world is getting ready to do the pagan Halloween and then Christmas.

Stores can’t be setup fast enough for these days to make money.

Another year goes by and a new generation of the youth is polluted.

You are to teach your children:

Deut.4 [9] Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;
[10] Specially the day that thou
stoodest before Yehovah thy God in Horeb, when Yehovah said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.

--------------------

Let’s read Colossians, chapter 2, the full chapter

Paul is “warning” the Colossians and us today to "watch out for evil men" that try to deceive you and turn you away from the God of Israel, His laws and appointed times.

Col.2 - [1] For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;
[2] That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Messiah;
[3] In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

[4] And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.

[5] For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Messiah.
[6] As ye have therefore received Messiah Yeshua the Lord, so walk ye in him:
[7] Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

[8] Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Messiah.

[9] For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
[10] And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
[11] In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Messiah:
[12] Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

[13] And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
[14] Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

[15] And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

[16] Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

[17] Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Messiah.

[18] Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

[19] And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

[20] Wherefore if ye be dead with Messiah from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,

[21] (Touch not; taste not; handle not;

[22] Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

[23] Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh

(Another words, looks good, but not acceptable to the God of Israel because they are commandments and doctrines of men)

The more I read this chapter of the letter I see it is very important to understand it.

---------------------------
