Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s

 Today is July 5th, 2014

July -- Julius Caesar's month

Middle English Julie
Latin Julius "Julius"
Latin Julius mensis "month of Julius"
Latin quintilis mensis "fifth month"

Quintilis (and later Julius) has always had 31 days.

Julius Caesar reformed the Roman calendar (hence the Julian calendar) in 46 BC. In the process, he renamed this month after himself.

----------------

God has His own calendar

 We are now in the fourth month of God, 6th day. The fourth month has no biblical name in scripture.

 Judaism uses the name Tammuz which is not the name of the 4th month. Tammuz is a false God. We are Jews that do not follow Judaism.

Yesterday was Independence Day, the 4th of July

The creation of the United States, a Novus ordo seclorum, a New Order of the Ages

The phrase Novus ordo seclorum (Latin for "New order of the ages") appears on the reverse of the Great Seal of the United States, first designed in 1782 and printed on the back of the United States one-dollar bill since 1935.

The phrase also appears on the coat of arms of the Yale School of Management, Yale University's business school.

I see the divided states of America

I see the divided body of Messiah

Today's Topic

Unity of real Brothers and Sisters

Real Brothers and Sisters that dwell together in unity are your real neighbors

Pss.133

[1] Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

[2] It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
[3] As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there Yehovah commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

Who is my mother, or my brethren?

Yeshua said:

Matt.12 [46] While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
[47] Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
[48] But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
[49] And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said,

Behold my mother and my brethren!

[50] For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Mark 3

[31] There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him.
[32] And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.
[33] And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?

[34] And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said,

Behold my mother and my brethren!

[35] For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

Who is my neighbor?

Luke.10

[25] And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
[26] He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
[27] And he answering said, Thou shalt love Yehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
[28] And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
[29] But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Yeshua, And who is my neighbour?

[30] And Yeshua answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
[31] And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
[32] And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
[33] But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
[34] And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
[35] And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

[36] Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
[37] And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Yeshua unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

1Pet.1 [22] Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
[23] Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

The unity

Eph.4

[1] I therefore, the prisoner of Yehovah, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
[2] With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

[3] Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

[4] There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
[5] One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
[6] One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
[7] But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Messiah.
[8] Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
[9] (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
[10] He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
[11] And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
[12] For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Messiah:

[13] Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Messiah:
[14] That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
[15] But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Messiah:
[16] From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

[17] This I say therefore, and testify in Yehovah, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
[18] Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
[19] Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
[20] But ye have not so learned Messiah;
[21] If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Yeshua:
[22] That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
[23] And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
[24] And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
[25] Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
[26] Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
[27] Neither give place to the devil.
[28] Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
[29] Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
[30] And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
[31] Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

[32] And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Messiah's sake hath forgiven you.

“One in Messiah”

Gal. 3 [28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Messiah Yeshua

Hence our name “One in Messiah” congregation

---------------------

God never said for anyone to have their own separate ministry different then His.

There is only One God, One set of Prophets and Apostles in Scriptures with One Path to walk in.

God does not divide His Body

1Cor.1 [10] Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Yeshua Messiah, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you ; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

[11] For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.[ 12] Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Messiah.

[13 ] Is  Messiah divided?

was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

------------

There is only "One Ministry, One Body"

He, Yeshua is the Vine, we are the branches

John  15 [5] I am the vine, ye are the branches : He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

No here in the Scriptures are there two separate ministries. Paul went to the Gentiles, Peter went to the Jews to join the "SAME BODY"

Rom.12 [4] For as we have many members in one body , and all members have not the same office: [ 5] So we, being many, are one body in Messiah, and every one members one of another.[ 6] Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;[7 ] Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;[8] Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

1 Cor.10 [17] For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

1 Cor.12 [12] For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body : so also is Messiah. [13] For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

[20 ] But now are they many members, yet but one body.

Eph.2 [16] And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Eph. 4[4] There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;[5] One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
[6] One God and Father of all,
who is above all, and through all, and in you all.[11 ] And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;[12 ] For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Messiah:

Col. 3 [15] And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Acts 15 [9] And put no difference between us (the Jews) and them, (the Gentiles) purifying their hearts by faith.

Rom.3[22] Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Yeshua Messiah unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Rom.10[12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.[13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of Yehovah shall be saved.

Sometimes you might feel   -   2 Pet. 2 [7] … vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked

Ecc. 7 [17] Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?

Eph.5 [11] And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Be Holy

Lev.20 [7] Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am Yehovah your God.

1Pet.1 [15] But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;[16] Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Num.15 [40] That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.

Eph.1 [4] According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Eph.5 [27] That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Our Conversation

Phil.1 [27] Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Messiah: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Heb.13 [5] Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

[7] Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

1Tim.4 [12] Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

1Pet.2 [ 12] Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Pss.37 [14] The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.

Pss.50 [23] Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

2Pet.3

[10] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
[11] Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
[12] Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

1Pet.3

[1] Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
[2] While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.

[16] Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Messiah.

Phil.3 [20]

For our conversation is in heaven;

from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Yeshua Messiah: [21] Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
