 Let’s pray

Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory, from the 1500’s

 Today is June 30, 2012

 June -- Juno's month: Junius had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 30 days long.

Juno is the principle goddess of the Roman Pantheon. She is the goddess of marriage and the well-being of women. She is the wife and sister of Jupiter. She is identified with the Greek goddess Hera.

------------------

Yehovah has His own calendar

 We are now in the 4th month which has no name in scripture, 9th day.

Judaism calls this month Tammuz, wrong, not in scripture for the name of the fourth month

Ezek.8[ 14] Then he brought me to the door of the gate of theYehovah’s house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz - ( pagan deity )

îÀáÇëÌåÉú àÆúÎäÇ úÌÇîÌåÌæ  --  -- a Sumerian deity of food or vegetation, a Phoenician deity

Last week’s study was:

Who is the Savior?

 and

Who is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, the first and the last?

Who is Lord of lords, the King?

Today's Topics`

Who is the redeemer?

Was the Word of God from Everlasting?

Who gets the glory?

Who is worshiped?

Who WAS and IS and IS TO COME?

Can any man or woman die for you or your sins?

You said last week my study was too small, so here is another study. Some verses may repeat.

This study is not complete, but I know you will conclude that God and His Word are one of the same again.

Let’s begin

Job.19 [25] For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

Pss.19 [14] Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, Yehovah, my strength, and my redeemer.

Pss.78 [35] And they remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their redeemer.

Prov.23 [11] For their redeemer is mighty; he shall plead their cause with thee.

Isa.41 [14] Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith Yehovah, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

Isa.43 [14] Thus saith Yehovah, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.

Isa.44 [6] Thus saith Yehovah the King of Israel, and his redeemer Yehovah of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

[24] Thus saith Yehovah, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am Yehovah that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

Isa.47 [4] As for our redeemer, Yehovah of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel.

Isa.48 [17] Thus saith Yehovah, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am Yehovah thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

Isa.49 [7] Thus saith Yehovah, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of Yehovah that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.

[26] And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I Yehovah am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Isa.54[5] For thy Maker is thine husband; Yehovah of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.[8] In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith Yehovah thy Redeemer.

Isa.59[20] And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith Yehovah.

Isa.60[16] Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I Yehovah am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Isa.63[16] Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, Yehovah, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.

Jer.50[34] Their Redeemer is strong; Yehovah of hosts is his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.

----------------------------------------

Yeshua, the lamb (the Word) is the redeemer

Luke.24[21] But we trusted that it had been he – Yeshua - which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.

Gal.3[13] Messiah hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Gal.4 [4] But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law [5] To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Tit.2[14] Messiah - Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

1Pet.1[18] Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; [19] But (you were redeemed) with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
[20] Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

Rev.5[9] And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

Rev.14[3] And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.[4] These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

---------------------------------

Pre-existence of the Word that was made flesh - Messiah

Prov.8 [22] Yehovah possessed me (Messiah) in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

[23] I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.

[24] When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
[25] Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:
[26] While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
[27] When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
[28] When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
[29] When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
[30] Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;
[31] Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

Pss.72 [17] His name (Messiah) shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

Pss. 102 [25] Of old(everlasting) hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.[26] They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:
[27] But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.

Heb.1[1] God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
[2] Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

[3] Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
[4] Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

[5] For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
[6] And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. – Messiah

[7] And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

[8] But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

[9] Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

[10] And, Thou, Yehovah, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:[11] They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; [12] And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

[11] They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
[12] And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

Heb. 13:8 Yeshua the Messiah - the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."

-------------

John 17 [5] And now, O Father, glorify thou me (Messiah) with thine own self with the glory which I (the Word) had with thee before the world was.

[24] Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

John.1 [1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

[2] The same was in the beginning with God.
[3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

[10] He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

[14] And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Colossians 1 [12] Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
[13] Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
[14] In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

[15] Who is the image of the invisible God,

 the firstborn of every creature:

[16] For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
[17] And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

[18] And he is the head of the body, the (set-apart ones) church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
[19] For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
[20] And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself (God); by him,

Messiah

Mic. 5 [2] But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

Matt. 2 [1] Now when Yeshua was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

[5] And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, (Micah) [6] And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

1Cor. 10 [1] Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
[2] And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
[3] And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
[4] And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Messiah.

[9] Neither let us tempt Messiah, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

Luke 10 [18] And he said unto them, I (Messiah Yeshua) beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

1Tim. 3 [16] And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

2Tim.1 [9] (Messiah)Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Messiah Yeshua before the world began,

Tit.1 [2] In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

1Pet.1[18] Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; [19] But with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
[20] Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

Revelation 1 [7] Behold, he (Messiah the Word)cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

[8] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

[17] And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

Revelation 2 [8] And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;

Revelation 22 [13] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

John 8 [58] Yeshua said unto them, Verily,verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Luke 10 [18] And he said unto them, I ( Messiah Yeshua) beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

No man or woman can die for you or for your sins

A human being can not die for the sins of another; a human being can not be a sacrifice

Pss.49[7] None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:

Mic.6[7] Will Yehovah be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

Then there is the Word made flesh – Yeshua who was to die for the sins of the world

John.11

[47] Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.
[48] If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.
[49] And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,
[50] Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.

[51] And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Yeshua should die for that nation;[52] And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

Rom.5[6] For when we were yet without strength, in due time Messiah died for the ungodly.[7] For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.[8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Messiah died for us.

Rom.6[9] Knowing that Messiah being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.[10] For in that he died, he died (for) unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

Rom.8 [34] Who is he that condemneth? It is Messiah that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Rom. 14[9] For to this end Messiah both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

[15] But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Messiah died.

1Cor.8 [11] And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Messiah died?

1Cor.15[3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Messiah died for our sins according to the scriptures; Isa. 53

2Cor.5[14] For the love of Messiah constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:[15] And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

1Thes.5 [10] Messiah - Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

Rev.5

[1] And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
[2] And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice,
Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
[4] And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

[5] And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

[6] And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
[7] And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
[8] And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, (right in front of the Father, wow)having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of
odours, which are the prayers of saints.
[9] And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou
wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
[10] And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
[11] And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

[12] Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

[13] And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
[14] And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that
liveth for ever and ever.
