Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s

Today is January 28th, 2017

January -- Janus's month

Middle English Januarie
Latin
Januarius "of Janus"
Latin
Janu(s) "Janus" + -arius "ary (pertaining to)"
Latin
Januarius mensis "month of Janus"

Janus is the Roman god of gates and doorways, depicted with two faces looking in opposite directions. His festival month is January.

Yehovah has His own calendar

We are now in God’s 10th month Tevet, 29th day

Esth.2 [16] So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.

טֵבֵת  some say it means “goodness”

This Sunday evening will start the 11th month Shvat

Zech.1 [1] In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of Yehovah unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying, [7] Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat     חֹדֶשׁ שְׁבָט

Today’s Topic:

Yeshua is the only Salvation (we need)

By fulfilling all the prophecies, all the credentials of Messiah in Scripture and by the undisputed, unduplicated fact that was witnessed by many people that Yeshua Himself rose from the dead we conclude that Yeshua is the Messiah, there can be no one else.

Scripture makes it very clear that the Messiah had come before the destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D. This shows no one after that time can be the true Messiah.

Yeshua is the only means of salvation today and forever more. Only through the blood of Yeshua can you have forgiveness of sins, there is no other way.

Being a pleasant, moral, conservative, generous, educated, or brilliant person still does not merit forgiveness of sins, salvation nor eternal life.

Let’s start:

John 10

[1] Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

[2] But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

[3] To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

[4] And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

[5] And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

[6] This parable spake Yeshua unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.

[7] Then said Yeshua unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

[8] All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

[9] I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

[10] The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:

I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

[11] I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

[12] But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

[13] The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

[14] I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
[15] As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
[16] And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
[17] Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

[18] No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

[19] There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.
[20] And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?
[21] Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?
[22] And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
[23] And Yeshua walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.

[24] Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Messiah, tell us plainly.

[25] Yeshua answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

[26] But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

[27] My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
[28] And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
[29] My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

[30] I and my Father are one.

[31] Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

[32] Yeshua answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

[33] The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

[34] Yeshua answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
[35] If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
[36] Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
[37] If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
[38] But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

[39] Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,
[40] And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode.
[41] And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true.

[42] And many believed on him there.

Salvation by the blood of Yeshua

John 6 [53] Then Yeshua said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. [54] Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
[55] For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
[56] He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
[57] As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
[58] This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

-------------

Eph.2 [13] But now in Messiah Yeshua you who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Messiah.

Heb.13 [12] Wherefore Yeshua also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered without the gate.

1Pet.1 [2] Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Yeshua the Messiah: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

1John.1 [7] But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Yeshua Messiah his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Rom.7

[1] Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?

[2] For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

[3] So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

[4] Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Messiah;

that ye should be married to another, even to Him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Rev.1 [5]… from Yeshua the Messiah, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood, [6] And hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

One sacrifice for sins for ever

ONE SACRIFICE FOR SINS FOREVER

No more daily sacrifice needed

Heb.7 [27] Who, Yeshua needs not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for His own sins, and then for the people's: for this He did once , when He offered up himself.

Heb.9 [12] Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

[26] … but now once in the end of the world hath He, Yeshua appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

[28] So Messiah was once offered to bear the sins of many…

Heb.10 [10] … we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Yeshua the Messiah once for all.

[11] And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins for ever:

[12] But this man, Yeshua, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; [13] From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.[14] For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

--------------------

Rom.6 [10] For in that He, Yeshua died, He died unto sin once

1Cor.5 [7] Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Messiah our Passover is sacrificed for us:

Eph.5 [2] And walk in love, as Messiah also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savour.

----------------

Heb.10 [5] Wherefore when He cometh into the world, He saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

[6] In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin, you had no pleasure.

[7] Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do your will, O God.

[8] Above when He said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;

[9] Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that He may establish the second.

[10] By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Yeshua the Messiah once for all.

[11] And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: (forever)

[12] But this man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

[13] From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

[14] For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

[19] Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Yeshua, [20] By a new and living way, which He hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, His flesh;

[21] And having an high priest over the house of God;
[22] Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

-----------------

Heb.5 [9] And being made perfect, Yeshua became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him;

1Thes.5  [9] For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Yeshua the Messiah

2Tim.2 [10] Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Messiah Yeshua with eternal glory.

2Tim.3 [15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Messiah Yeshua.

Acts.4 [10] Peter says -  Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Yeshua the Messiah of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

[11] This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

[12] Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. The name of Yeshua the Messiah!!

[30] By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Yeshua.

John 3- [16] For God so loved the world, that He gave H0is only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, Yeshua should not perish, but have everlasting life.

[17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him, Yeshua, might be saved.

[18] He that believeth on Him is not condemned:

but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

[19] And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

[20] For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

[21] But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Luke 1

[67] And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,
[68] Blessed be the Yehovah God of Israel; for He hath visited and redeemed His people,

[69] And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David;
[70] As He spake by the mouth of His holy prophets, which have been since the world began:
[71] That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;
[72] To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember His holy covenant;
[73] The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,
[74] That He would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve Him without fear,

[75] In holiness and righteousness before Him, all the days of our life.

[76] And thou, child, John, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord Yeshua to prepare His ways;

[77] To give knowledge of salvation unto His people by the remission of their sins,
[78] Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,

[79] To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

---------------------

Rom.10 [8] …The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

[9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Yeshua, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Yeshua from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

[10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

[11] For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.

[12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

 [13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord Yeshua shall be saved.

----------------

Phil.2 [10] That at the name of Yeshua every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; [11] And that every tongue should confess that Yeshua the Messiah  is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

1John 3 [23] And this is His commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Yeshua the Messiah, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

1John 5 [10] He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

[11] And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. – Word!

[12] He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

[13] These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

------------------

Acts.2 [21] And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord Yeshua shall be saved.

[38] Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Yeshua the Messiah for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

I am He

 אֲנִי הוּא

Deut.32[39] See now that I, even I am He, and there is no god with Me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of My hand.

Isa.41[4] Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I Yehovah the first, and with the last; I am He

Isa.43 [10] Ye are my witnesses, saith Yehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am He : before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

[13] Yea, before the day was I am He; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?

[25] I, even I am He I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

Isa.46 [4] And even to your old age I am He ; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.

Isa.48 [12] Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am He ; I am the first, I also am the last.

Isa.51 [12] I, even I am He that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;

Isa.52 [6] Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am He that doth speak: behold, it is I.

John.8 [24] I said therefore unto you, that you shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am He, you shall die in your sins.

[28] Then said Yeshua unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am He, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

**John.9 [9] Some said, This is he: others said, He is like Him: but He said, I am He.

John.13 [19] Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am He.

John 18 [5] … Yeshua saith unto them, I am He.

And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.[6] As soon then as He had said unto them, I am He, they went backward, and fell to the ground.

[8] Yeshua answered, I have told you that I am He: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:

Rev.1 [18] I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Rev.2 [23] And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am He which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

King Yeshua in the Gospels and letters

Matt.21 [9] And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is He, Yeshua that cometh in the name of Yehovah; Hosanna in the highest.

Matt.23 [39] For I say unto you, Ye shall not see Me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is He that cometh in the name of Yehovah.

Mark.11 [9] And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is He that cometh in the name of Yehovah [10] Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of  Yehovah: Hosanna in the highest.

Luke.13 [35] Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is He that cometh in the name of Yehovah.

Luke.19 [38] Saying, Blessed be the King Yeshua that cometh in the name of Yehovah: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.

John.12 [13] Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet Him Yeshua, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of  Yehovah.

Acts.8 [16] (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Yeshua.)

Acts.9 [29] And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Yeshua, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.

Acts.10 [48] And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord Yeshua. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Acts.19 [5] When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Yeshua.

[13] Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Yeshua, saying, We adjure you by Yeshua whom Paul preacheth.

[17] And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Yeshua was magnified.

Acts.21 [13] Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Yeshua.

Acts.22 [16] And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord Yeshua.

1Cor.6 [11] And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Yeshua, and by the Spirit of our God.

Col.3 [17] And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Yeshua, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.

Jas.5 [14] Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord Yeshua:

Matt.28 [19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

-----------------------------------

In closing:

Yeshua is the only means of salvation today and forever more. Only through the blood of Yeshua can you have forgiveness of sins, there is no other way.

2 John 1 [7] For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Yeshua the Messiah (the Word of God) is come in the flesh (of Israel). This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

[9] Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Messiah, hath not God.

He that abideth in the doctrine of Messiah, he hath both the Father and the Son.

[10] If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

[11] For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

----------

1 John 2[18] Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

[21] I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

[22] Who is a liar but he that denieth that Yeshua is the Messiah? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

[23] Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

[24] Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

[25] And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

1 John 4 [1] Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

[2] Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Yeshua the Messiah (the Word of God) is come in the flesh of Israel) is of God:

[3] And every spirit that confesseth not that Yeshua the Messiah (the Word of God) is come in the flesh (of Israel) is not of God:

and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Whosoever shall confess that Yeshua is the Son, Word of God made flesh, then God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

The final conclusion:

Again:

Yeshua is the only means of salvation today and forever more. Only through the blood of Yeshua can you have forgiveness of sins, there is no other way.
