Yehovah has His own calendar
We are now in the 7th month called ha Ethanim, 10th
day
הָ אֵ
תָ נִים
The alef and tav, first and last (forever)
Ha Ethanim = “enduring” - the permanent brooks
הָאֵתָנִים - ha Ethanim
הָאֵתָנִים - ha Ethanim - Always
with the article ha, the - permanent brooks;
Ethanim = enduring - seventh month,
corresponding end of Sept, Oct. - so named because permanent streams still
flowed - plural of the below word:
איתן eythan - perpetual, constant,
perennial, ever-flowing, ever-flowing (of a stream), permanence, permanent,
enduring (figuratively)
Most people have never heard of ha Ethanim from scripture, they are brainwashed by Judaism to say
Tishri which is nowhere in scripture.
1Kgs.8 [2] And all the men of
Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month ha Ethanim, which is the seventh month.

Today's Topic:
A Day of Atonement, Coverings - יוֹם
הַכִּפֻּרִים
It’s all about atonement, forgiveness of sin
Remember: we rehearse a Day of
Atonement as part of the shadow of things to come, in someone’s life time,
Messiah second coming, in the 7th month, ha ethanim.
A Day, but NO Atonement if you don't have the Messiah and His shed
Blood
Leviticus 17:11 For the life of
the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it
to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an
atonement for the soul.
Rabbinical Judaism has tried to replace
"the Blood Sacrifice" with fasting.
Judaism never talks about the "blood'
that is needed on Yom Kippur, a day of atonement.
The word afflict in Hebrew is
"anah" meaning abase, humble or repent and never as "fast" in the scriptures .
The Hebrew word "tzum" means fast and is "Never" used in connection with the Day of Atonement.
The Blood of the sacrifice was to be
the most important feature of the Day of Atonement.
NOTHING can change this!
Nothing can be a substitute for the
obligatory sacrifice that God gave Moses, which was a "pattern",
"a shadow" of Messiah.
Within a few years after Messiah's
death on the tree and His Resurrection God permitted the Temple to be destroyed
and the priesthood abolished.
The Temple had served its purpose as
"shadows of things to come".
Yes,
the temple and priesthood were "shadows of things to come". They
"point" to the Messiah, the Great High Priest and the perfect Lamb of
God, without blemish, who took away the sins of the world when He shed His
Blood on the tree.
Scripture says, we are the Temple of
the Living God now. We are priests.
---------------
Yom Kippur – a day of atonement in the book of Hebrews
Heb.9 [6] Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went
always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
**[7] But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the
errors of the people:
[8] The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the
holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet
standing:
[9] Which
was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts
and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as
pertaining to the conscience;
[10] Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them
until the time of reformation.
[11] But Messiah
being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more
perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
[12]
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in
once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us .
[13] For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an
heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
[14] How much more shall
the blood of Messiah who through the eternal Spirit
offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to
serve the living God?
[15] And for this cause He, Messiah is the mediator of the New Testament, that by means of
death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first
testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal
inheritance.
[16] For where a testament is, there must also of necessity
be the death of the testator.
[17] For a testament is of force after men are dead:
otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
[18] Whereupon
neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.
[19] For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the
people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool,
and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
[20] Saying,(Exod. 24:8 ) This is the blood of the testament which God
hath enjoined unto you.
[21] Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the
vessels of the ministry.
[22] And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without
shedding of blood is no remission. (Fasting is good, but the Day of Atonement requires the
Blood!)
-------------------
Let’s
talk about the scapegoat.עֲזָאזֵל
Messiah
Scapegoat: a person or group made to bear the blame for others or to suffer in their
place.
Vicarious: suffered in place of another: vicarious punishment. Taking the place
of another person or thing; acting or serving as a substitute.
Two goats שְׁנֵי

"Shadows" of the two blood
covenants that point to the Messiah
Exod.24 [8] And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood
of the covenant.....
Luke.22 [20] Likewise also the cup after
supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in
my blood, which
is shed for you.
--------------------
Lev.16 (1+6 = 7)
This chapter 16 mentions the blood 9 times for atonement, it never mentions
fasting.
Lev.16
[1] And Yehovah spake
unto Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they offered before Yehovah, and died;
[2] And Yehovah said unto Moses, Speak
unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place
within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon
the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the
cloud upon the mercy seat.
[3] Thus shall Aaron come into the holy place: with a young bullock
for a sin offering,
and a ram for a burnt offering.
[4] He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the
linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and
with the linen mitre shall he be attired: these are
holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put them on.
[5] And he shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel
two kids of the goats for a sin offering,
and one ram for a burnt offering.
[6] And Aaron shall offer his bullock
of the sin offering, which is for himself, and
make an atonement for himself, and for his
house.
[7] And he shall take the two goats, and present them before Yehovah at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
[8] And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for Yehovah, and the other lot for the scapegoat.
[9] And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which Yehovah's
lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering.
[10] But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before Yehovah, to make an atonement
with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into
the wilderness.
[11] And Aaron shall bring the bullock
of the sin offering, which is for himself, and
shall make an atonement for himself, and for
his house, and shall kill the bullock of the sin
offering which is for himself:
[12] And he shall take a censer full of
burning coals of fire from off the altar before Yehovah,
and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the vail:
[13] And he shall put the incense upon the fire before Yehovah, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy
seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not:
[14] And he shall take of the blood
of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward;
and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood
with his finger seven times.
[15] Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for
the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood
as he did with the blood of the bullock, and
sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:
[16] And he shall make an
atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the
children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and
so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth
among them in the midst of their uncleanness.
[17] And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the
congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out,
and have made an atonement for himself, and
for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.
[18] And he shall go out unto the altar that is before Yehovah, and make an atonement
for it; and shall take of the blood of the
bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put
it upon the horns of the altar round about.
[19] And he shall sprinkle of the blood
upon it with his finger seven times, and
cleanse it, and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.
[20] And when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy place,
and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live
goat:
[21] And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live
goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and
all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the
goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:
[22] And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land
not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.
[23] And Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation,
and shall put off the linen garments, which he put on when he went into the
holy place, and shall leave them there:
[24] And he shall wash his flesh with water in the holy place, and
put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt offering, and the
burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself, and for the
people.
[25] And the fat of the sin offering shall he burn upon the altar.
[26] And he that let go the goat for the
scapegoat shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and
afterward come into the camp.
[27] And the bullock for the sin offering, and the goat for the sin
offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, shall one carry forth
without the camp; and they shall burn in the fire their skins, and their flesh,
and their dung.
[28] And he that burneth them shall wash
his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the
camp.
[29] And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the
seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and
do no work at all, whether it be one of your own
country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:
[30] For on that day shall the priest
make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that
ye may be clean from all your sins before Yehovah.
[31] It shall be a sabbath
of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.
[32] And the priest, whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall
consecrate to minister in the priest's office in his father's stead, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the
linen clothes, even the holy garments:
[33] And he shall make an
atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement
for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the
people of the congregation.
[34] And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for
the children of Israel for all their sins once a year.
And he did as Yehovah commanded Moses.

the jubile
Lev.25 [9]
Then shalt thou cause the trumpet
of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh
month, in the day of atonement shall ye
make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.
[10]
And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim
liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it
shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his
possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
[11]
A jubile shall
that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine
undressed.
[12]
For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase
thereof out of the field.
[13]
In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession.

It was
said:
Lev.16 [34] And this shall be an everlasting
statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their
sins once a year (Day
of Atonement)
It was
explained:
Heb.10[1] For the law having a shadow of good things
to come , and "not the
very image of the things", can never with those
sacrifices which they offered year by
year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
[2] For then would they not have ceased to be
offered? because that the worshippers once
purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
[3] But in those sacrifices there is a
remembrance again made of sins every year.

[4] For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. (Forever)

[28] So Messiah

second time without sin unto salvation.
Heb.10 [10] By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of

souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

Matt.26 [28]Yeshua said :
For this is my blood of the new testament, which
is shed for many for the remission of sins.
John 6 [53]
Then Yeshua said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto
you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
[54] Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
[55] For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
[56] He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

In closing: Be
atoned every day!
Remember:
Neither
Moses nor David had the "Temple",
this is not a requirement.
Solomon built the 1st Temple.
Since 1948, there is an Israel again.
They are not in captivity.
Messiah has come and gone and will return one day
The "BLOOD"
is still required.
If one of the requirements was to fast (tsom, tsum), on the Day of Atonement, why
simply did not Yehovah / YHVH tell us?
