July -- Julius Caesar's month

Middle English Julie
Latin Julius "Julius"
Latin Julius mensis "month of Julius"
Latin quintilis mensis "fifth month"

Quintilis (and later Julius) has always had 31 days.

Julius Caesar reformed the Roman calendar (hence the Julian calendar) in 46 BC. In the process, he renamed this month after himself.

God has His own calendar

 

We are now in the fourth month of God, 13^th day.

The fourth month has no biblical name in scripture.

Judaism uses the name Tammuz which is not the name of the 4th month. Tammuz is a false God. We are Jews that do not follow Judaism.

I know this is a little early in the season; however, people keep inquiring whent are dates for the fall feasts of God.

 

Here is what we can determine at this point in time, of course, we'll have to wait to hear when the new moon was cited in Israel.

 

Our fall 2014 approximate dates are listed below:

The 7th month, ha Ethanim - A memorial of blowing of trumpets, a Sabbath, Sept. 26

The Day of Atonement- Sunday Oct. 5 - a Sabbath

Feast of Tabernacles - Oct. 10 through 17 - the 10 and 17 are both Sabbaths

Today's Topic

 

A state of mind (in the God of Israel)

 

As I have said many times before, we are not a psychiatric ward, we do not diagnose people with mental disorders and abnormal behaviors, and prescribe psychotropic medications, nor a panacea, for the immediate relief.

I am a counselor and recognize some people have these abnormal spiritual traits.

I have spiritual medication to apply to your spiritual illness

 

Some Scriptures say:

Isa.26 [3] Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

 

Pss. 34 [7] The angel of Yehovah encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

 

I see today most people are convinced of being medicated, tranquilized, sedated and stay incoherent with some quick fix medications with only suppresses their hidden troubles for a time.

It is not a new trait to hide from the truth, Satan is supreme in this matter.

 

Beware of the false angel of light

2 Cor. 11 [13] beware of ... false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

[14] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

[15] Therefore it is no great thing if Satan's ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

 

Remember: Eph.4 [27] Neither give place to the devil.

 

 

Beware of the prince of the power of the air

Here is a learning process, you need to examine the thoughts that arise in your mind, and determine which thoughts are yours, which thoughts are godly thoughts from reading Scripture, and which thoughts are Satan's, the prince of the power of the air.

I see when some people listen to Satan's persuasions they are engulfed in a pool of loneliness, depression, which only leads to spiritual stress, antisocial behavior and the end, spiritual suicide.

You might find yourself separating yourself from the congregation of real brothers and sisters.

You will find yourself being attracted to people of the same ungodly thoughts and behaviors.

 

Remember the old nursery rhyme which is only mentioned in part, birds of a feather flock together...

 

Saul warn - Beware of the prince of the power of the air

Eph. 2

[1] And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
[2] Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
[3] Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

 

We are the reality check - dissolving doubts, unmasking hidden sins.

We eradicate the spiritual psychosis that may be engulfing you and your thoughts.

psychosis - a mental disorder characterized by symptoms, such as delusions or hallucinations, that indicate impaired contact with reality.

 

Reality scares some people

This is one of the reasons people vacate our premises when we are teaching from Scripture.

The reality of what God is saying brings clarity to their sin, and how they need to remedy their situation which they are convinced by Satan, the prince of the power of the air, that it is impossible.

Some people do not like to be brought to the state of accountability; they choose rather to disguise the Godly conversation, they say, as argumentative and just leave.

 

Let's read: people in the past also want to be medicated, told smooth things.

Isa.30

[1] Woe to the rebellious children, saith Yehovah, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:
[2] That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!
[3] Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.
[4] For his princes were at Zoan, and his ambassadors came to Hanes.
[5] They were all ashamed of a people that could not profit them, nor be an help nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach.
[6] The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.
[7] For the Egyptians shall help in vain, and to no purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still.

[8] Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:
[9] That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of Yehovah:
[10] Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

[11] Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.

[12] Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:

[13] Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.

[14] And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters' vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit.

[15] For thus saith Yehovah GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.

[16] But ye said, No; for we will flee upon horses; therefore shall ye flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift.

[17] One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill.

[18] And therefore will Yehovah wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for Yehovah is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.

Luke 11 [33] No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.

 

[34] The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.

 

[35] Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.

 

Luke 12 [15] And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

In closing:

Always know help is not far away, just call.

Don't listen to the prince of the power of the air, Satan, which only discourages, depresses and leaves you alone to die spiritually.
