Today is November 12, 2011
November
is from the word novem, nine,
because it was the 9th month in the old Roman calendar.
Today it is the 11th month (with the same name)
However we restore the calendar of God
We are now in the 8th month,
15th day
The month Bul - rain
(Part of October & November)
Judaism calls this month Cheshvan or Marheshvan.
Marheshvan - Where did they get that name? (mar means bitter )
These names are not in the Hebrew Scriptures.
The 8th month is called Bull
1 Kgs. 6 [38] And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished
throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So
was he seven years in building it.

I explain the
Sabbath, the 7th day, each week
This is how
simple it is:
Exod. 20
[8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
[9]
Six days shalt thou labour,
and do all thy work:
[10]
But the seventh day is the sabbath
of Yehovah thy God: (Rev.1
John was in Spirit on Yehovah’s day)
in it thou shalt not
do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy
daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger
that is within thy gates:
[11] For in six days Yehovah
made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh
day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
------------
Same in Deut. 5
[12]
Keep the sabbath day to
sanctify it, as Yehovah thy God hath commanded thee.
[13] Six days thou shalt labour,
and do all thy work:
[14] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God: in it thou shalt
not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor
thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy
maidservant may rest as well as thou.
[15] And remember that thou wast
a servant in the land of Egypt, and that Yehovah thy
God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore Yehovah thy God
commanded thee to keep the sabbath
day.
------------
Lev. 23 [3] Six days shall work be
done:
but
the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an “holy convocation”;
ye shall do no work therein:
it is the Sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.
--------
Isa. 58 [13] If thou turn away thy foot
from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of Yehovah,
honourable; and shalt honour him,
1 - not doing thine own ways,
2 - nor finding thine own pleasure,
3 - nor speaking thine own words:
[14]
Then shalt thou delight thyself in Yehovah; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high
places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of Yehovah hath
spoken it.
------------------------
Buying and selling
is evil on the Sabbath
Neh. 13 [16] There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of
ware, and sold on the Sabbath unto the
children of Judah, and in Jerusalem.
[17]
Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, what evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the Sabbath
day?
-----------------
The first day is mentioned only 2 times when they met for a certain
event in Acts and the letter to the Corinthians
It
never says the 1st day replaced the 7th day as Sabbath
It never
says the 1st day is a Commandment or a rest
Acts 20:7 And upon the first day
of the week,
when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready
to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
1Corinthians 16:2 Upon the first
day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath
prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
------------------------
We read from law and the prophets every Sabbath like they
did in the Book of Acts.
60 times in the Gospels
and letters it uses the word Sabbath!
------------------
Tis the
season to be pagan
Beware, Satan’s
holidays are coming
God does not
have holidays, He has Holy Days

*** Today's Topic:
What is an abomination to our God of Israel?
First, let’s

an idolatrous object: - abominable (-tion). (Intensively)

Here are just
a few verses, look it up yourselves
Lev.11
[1] And Yehovah spake
unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts
which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
[3] Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the
cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.
[4] Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of
them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth
the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean
unto you.
[5] And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not
the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
[6] And the hare, because he cheweth the cud,
but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
[7] And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted,
yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.
[8] Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase
shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.
[9] These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath
fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye
eat.
[10] And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the
rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the
waters, they shall be an abomination unto
you:
[11] They shall be even an abomination
unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
[12] Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters,
that shall be an abomination unto
you.
[13] And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be
eaten, they are an abomination: the
eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
[14] And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;
[15] Every raven after his kind;
[16] And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow,
and the hawk after his kind,
[17] And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,
[18] And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier
eagle,
[19] And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the
bat.
[20] All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.
[21] Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to
leap withal upon the earth;
[22] Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the
bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper
after his kind.
[23] But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall
be an abomination unto you.
[24] And for these ye shall be unclean: whosoever toucheth
the carcase of them shall be unclean until the even.
[25] And whosoever beareth ought of the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean
until the even.
[26] The carcases of every beast which divideth the hoof, and is not clovenfooted,
nor cheweth the cud, are unclean unto you: every one
that toucheth them shall be unclean.
[27] And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among
all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you: whoso toucheth their carcase shall be
unclean until the even.
[28] And he that beareth the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until
the even: they are unclean unto you.
[29] These also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping things that
creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his
kind,
[30] And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail,
and the mole.
[31] These are unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch
them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even.
[32] And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it
shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or
sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into
water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it
shall be cleansed.
[33] And every earthen vessel, whereinto any
of them falleth, whatsoever is in it shall be
unclean; and ye shall break it.
[34] Of all meat which may be eaten, that on which such water cometh
shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be
unclean.
[35] And every thing whereupon any part of
their carcase falleth shall
be unclean; whether it be oven, or ranges for pots,
they shall be broken down: for they are unclean, and shall be unclean unto you.
[36] Nevertheless a fountain or pit, wherein there is plenty of water,
shall be clean: but that which toucheth their carcase shall be unclean.
[37] And if any part of their carcase
fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean.
[38] But if any water be put upon the seed, and any part of their carcase fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you.
[39] And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcase thereof
shall be unclean until the even.
[40] And he that eateth of the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until
the even: he also that beareth
the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be
unclean until the even.
[41] And every creeping thing that creepeth
upon the earth shall be an abomination;
it shall not be eaten.
[42] Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and
whatsoever goeth upon all four, or whatsoever hath
more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall
not eat; for they are an abomination.
[43] Ye shall not make yourselves abominable
with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that
ye should be defiled thereby.
[44] For I am Yehovah your God: ye shall
therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither
shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
[45] For I am Yehovah that bringeth
you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy,
for I am holy.
[46] This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living
creature that moveth in the waters, and of every
creature that creepeth upon the earth:
[47] To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between
the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.
Lev.18
[1] And Yehovah spake
unto Moses, saying,
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am Yehovah your God.
[3] After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye
not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall
ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.
[4] Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein:
I am Yehovah your God.
[5] Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a
man do, he shall live in them: I am Yehovah.
[6] None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to
uncover their nakedness: I am Yehovah.
[7] The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
[8] The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt
thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.
[9] The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter
of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their
nakedness thou shalt not uncover.
[10] The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter,
even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for
theirs is thine own nakedness.
[11] The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy
father, she is thy sister, thou shalt
not uncover her nakedness.
[12] Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of
thy father's sister: she is thy father's near kinswoman.
[13] Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of
thy mother's sister: for she is thy mother's near kinswoman.
[14] Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of
thy father's brother, thou shalt
not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.
[15] Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of
thy daughter in law: she is thy son's wife; thou shalt
not uncover her nakedness.
[16] Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of
thy brother's wife: it is thy brother's nakedness.
[17] Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a
woman and her daughter, neither shalt
thou take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her
nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness.
[18] Neither shalt thou take a wife to her
sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life
time.
[19] Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman
to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.
[20] Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with
thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.
[21] And thou shalt not let any of thy seed
pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the
name of thy God: I am Yehovah.
[22] Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with
womankind: it is abomination.
[23] Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to
defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie
down thereto: it is confusion.
[24] Defile not ye yourselves in any of these
things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
[25] And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof
upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her
inhabitants.
[26] Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not
commit any of these abominations; neither
any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth
among you:
[27] (For all these abominations
have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
[28] That the land spue not you out also, when
ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were
before you.
[29] For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations,
even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
[30] Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one
of these abominable customs, which were
committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am Yehovah your God.
[28] Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it
may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for
ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of Yehovah thy God.
[29] When Yehovah thy God shall cut off the
nations from before thee, whither thou goest to
possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land;
[30] Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them,
after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou inquire not after
their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even
so will I do likewise.
[31] Thou shalt not do so unto Yehovah thy God: for every abomination
to Yehovah, which he hateth,
have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they
have burnt in the fire to their gods.
[32] What thing soever I command you, observe
to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish
from it.
[1] Thou shalt not
sacrifice unto Yehovah thy God any bullock, or sheep,
wherein is blemish, or any evilfavouredness: for that
is an abomination unto Yehovah thy God.
[2] If there be found among you, within any of thy gates which Yehovah thy God giveth thee, man
or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of Yehovah
thy God, in transgressing his covenant,
[3] And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the
sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;
[4] And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and inquired
diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel:
[5] Then shalt thou bring forth that man or
that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that
man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones,
till they die.
[6] At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is
worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not
be put to death.
[7] The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to
death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So thou shalt
put the evil away from among you.
[8] If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood
and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters
of controversy within thy gates: then shalt thou
arise, and get thee up into the place which Yehovah
thy God shall choose;
[9] And thou shalt come unto the priests the
Levites, and unto the judge that shall be in those days, and inquire; and they
shall shew thee the sentence of judgment:
[10] And thou shalt do according to the
sentence, which they of that place which Yehovah
shall choose shall shew thee; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee:
[11] According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee,
and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline
from the sentence which they shall shew thee, to the
right hand, nor to the left.
[12] And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto
the priest that standeth to minister there before Yehovah thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall
die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.
[13] And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more
presumptuously.
[10] When thou comest nigh unto a city to
fight against it, then proclaim peace unto it.
[11] And it shall be, if it make thee answer
of peace, and open unto thee, then it shall be, that all the people that is
found therein shall be tributaries unto thee, and they shall serve thee.
[12] And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against
thee, then thou shalt besiege it:
[13] And when Yehovah thy God hath delivered
it into thine hands, thou shalt
smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:
[14] But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is
in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou
take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which Yehovah thy
God hath given thee.
[15] Thus shalt thou do unto all the cities
which are very far off from thee, which are not of the cities of these nations.
[16] But of the cities of these people, which Yehovah
thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt
save alive nothing that breatheth:
[17] But thou shalt utterly destroy them;
namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as Yehovah thy God
hath commanded thee:
[18] That they teach you not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto their
gods; so should ye sin against Yehovah your God.
[19] When thou shalt besiege a city a long
time, in making war against it to take it, thou shalt
not destroy the trees thereof by forcing an axe against them: for thou mayest eat of them, and thou shalt
not cut them down (for the tree of the field is man's life) to employ them in
the siege:
[20] Only the trees which thou knowest that
they be not trees for meat, thou shalt destroy and
cut them down; and thou shalt build bulwarks against
the city that maketh war with thee, until it be
subdued.
[1] When a man hath taken a wife, and married her,
and it come to pass that she find no favour in his
eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a
bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.
[2] And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another
man's wife.
[3] And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of
divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die,
which took her to be his wife;
[4] Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to
be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination
before Yehovah: and thou shalt
not cause the land to sin, which Yehovah thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
[1] If there be a controversy between men, and they
come unto judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the
righteous, and condemn the wicked.
[2] And it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy to be beaten, that the
judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according
to his fault, by a certain number.
[3] Forty stripes he may give him, and not exceed: lest, if he should
exceed, and beat him above these with many stripes, then thy brother should
seem vile unto thee.
[4] Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn.
[5] If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child,
the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband's
brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty
of an husband's brother unto her.
[6] And it shall be, that the firstborn which
she beareth shall succeed in the name of his brother
which is dead, that his name be not put out of Israel.
[7] And if the man like not to take his brother's wife, then let his
brother's wife go up to the gate unto the elders, and say, My husband's brother
refuseth to raise up unto his brother a name in
Israel, he will not perform the duty of my husband's brother.
[8] Then the elders of his city shall call him, and speak unto him: and
if he stand to it, and say, I like not to take her;
[9] Then shall his brother's wife come unto him in the presence of the
elders, and loose his shoe from off his foot, and spit in his face, and shall
answer and say, So shall it be done unto that man that will not build up his
brother's house.
[10] And his name shall be called in Israel, The house of him that hath
his shoe loosed.
[11] When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of
him that smiteth him, and putteth
forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets:
[12] Then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity her.
[13] Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small.
[14] Thou shalt not have in thine house divers measures, a
great and a small.
[15] But thou shalt have a perfect and just
weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have:
that thy days may be lengthened in the land which Yehovah
thy God giveth thee.
[16] For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously,
are an abomination unto Yehovah thy God.
[9] Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye
may prosper in all that ye do.
[10] Ye stand this day all of you before Yehovah
your God; your captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with
all the men of Israel,
[11] Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that is in thy camp,
from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water:
[12] That thou shouldest enter into covenant
with Yehovah thy God, and into his oath, which Yehovah thy God maketh with thee
this day:
[13] That he may establish thee to day for a
people unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto
thee, and as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to
Jacob.
[14] Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;
[15] But with him that standeth here with us
this day before Yehovah our God, and also with him
that is not here with us this day:
[16] (For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we
came through the nations which ye passed by;
[17] And ye have seen their abominations,
and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them:)
[18] Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe,
whose heart turneth away this day from Yehovah our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations;
lest there should be among you a root that beareth
gall and wormwood;
[19] And it come to pass, when he heareth the
words of this curse, that he bless himself in his
heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine
heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:
[20] The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of Yehovah and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and
all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and Yehovah shall blot out his name from under heaven.
[21] And Yehovah shall separate him unto evil
out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant
that are written in this book of the law:
[22] So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up
after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far
land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses
which Yehovah hath laid upon it;
[23] And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and
burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any
grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom,
and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim,
which Yehovah overthrew in his anger, and in his
wrath:
[24] Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath Yehovah
done thus unto this land? what meaneth
the heat of this great anger?
[25] Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of Yehovah God of their fathers, which he made with them when
he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt:
[26] For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom
they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them:
[27] And the anger of Yehovah was kindled
against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this
book:
[28] And Yehovah rooted them out of their land
in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another
land, as it is this day.
[29] The secret things belong unto Yehovah our
God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for
ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
End of Torah
A few other verses
[1] But king Solomon loved many strange women,
together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites;
[2] Of the nations concerning which Yehovah
said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall
they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their
gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.
[3] And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred
concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.
[4] For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned
away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with Yehovah his God, as was the heart of David his father.
[5] For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.
[6] And Solomon did evil in the sight of Yehovah,
and went not fully after Yehovah, as did David his
father.
[7] Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination
of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech,
the abomination of the children of Ammon.
[8] And likewise did he for all his strange
wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.
[9] And Yehovah was angry with Solomon,
because his heart was turned from Yehovah God of
Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,
[10] And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go
after other gods: but he kept not that which Yehovah
commanded.
[11] Wherefore Yehovah said unto Solomon,
Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my
statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from
thee, and will give it to thy servant.
[12] Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father's
sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.
[13] Howbeit I will not rend away all the
kingdom; but will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant's sake, and
for Jerusalem's sake which I have chosen.
[14] And Yehovah stirred up an adversary unto
Solomon, Hadad the Edomite:
he was of the king's seed in Edom.
[24] He that hateth dissembleth
with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him;
[25] When he speaketh fair, believe him not:
for there are seven abominations in his heart.
[26] Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shewed before the whole congregation.
[27] Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein:
and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.
[28] A lying tongue hateth those that are
afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth worketh ruin.
[1] And there came one of the seven angels which had
the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
[2] With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the
inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
[3] So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a
woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of
names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
[4] And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour,
and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her
hand full of abominations and filthiness of her
fornication:
[5] And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY,
BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
[6] And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with
the blood of the martyrs of Yeshua: and when I saw
her, I wondered with great admiration.
[7] And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst
thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
[8] The beast that thou sawest was, and is not;
and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they
that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book
of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was,
and is not, and yet is.
[9] And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven
mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
[10] And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the
other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must
continue a short space.
[11] And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is
of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
[12] And the ten horns which thou sawest are
ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings
one hour with the beast.
[13] These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto
the beast.
[14] These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome
them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are
called, and chosen, and faithful.
[15] And he saith unto me, The
waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and
tongues.
[16] And the ten horns which thou sawest upon
the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked,
and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
[17] For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil
his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words
of God shall be fulfilled.
[18] And the woman which thou sawest is that
great city, which reigneth over the kings of the
earth.
[1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the
first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
[2] And I John saw the holy city, new
Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for
her husband.
[3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the
tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be
his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
[4] And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall
be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more
pain: for the former things are passed away.
[5] And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.
And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
[6] And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha
and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of
the fountain of the water of life freely.
[7] He that overcometh shall inherit all
things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
[8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and
idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
[9] And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven
vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither,
I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
[10] And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain,
and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem,
descending out of heaven from God,
[11] Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most
precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
[12] And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the
gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the
twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
[13] On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south
three gates; and on the west three gates.
[14] And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the
names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
[15] And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city,
and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
[16] And the city lieth foursquare, and the
length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed,
twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are
equal.
[17] And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four
cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
[18] And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was
pure gold, like unto clear glass.
[19] And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all
manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second,
sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
[20] The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius;
the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the
ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the
eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
[21] And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of
one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were
transparent glass.
[22] And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb
are the temple of it.
[23] And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it,
and the Lamb is the light thereof.
[24] And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of
it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour
into it.
[25] And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there
shall be no night there.
[26] And they shall bring the glory and honour
of the nations into it.
[27] And there shall in no wise enter into it any
thing that defileth, neither
whatsoever worketh abomination,
or maketh a lie: but they which are written in
the Lamb's book of life.
