Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the
1500’s
Today is April 7, 2018 - in the 21 Century
April -- Aphrodite's month
Old English April(is)
Latin Aprilis
Etruscan Apru
Greek Aphro,
short for Aphrodite.
Aprilis had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29
days, until Julius when it became 30 days long.
Aphrodite is the
Greek goddess of love and beauty. She is identified with the Roman goddess
Venus.

April 14 - a Sabbath, until May 27, Sunday - a Sabbath
----------------------------------------
“Offering Time”
Exod.23 [14] Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto Me in the year.
[15] Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread:
(thou shalt eat
unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded
thee, in the time appointed of the month ha Aviv / Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall
appear before me empty:)
[16] And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field:
and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the
year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.
Same as verse 15 - [17] Three times in the
year all thy males shall appear before the Lord Yehovah.
---------
Deut.16 [16] Three times in a year shall
all thy males appear before Yehovah thy God in the place which he shall choose;
in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the
feast of tabernacles:
and they shall not appear before Yehovah empty:
[17] Every man shall give as
he is able, according to the blessing of Yehovah thy God which he hath given thee.
---------------
Today’s Topic:
Another feast
of Unleavened Bread is almost over
a shadow of "things that happened in the past"
and
The 7
extra Sabbath days in the feasts and holy days of Yehovah
We do these feasts
in memorial the best we understand.
Luke 2
[41] Now Yeshua’s parents went to Jerusalem
every year at the feast of the Passover
[42] And when he
was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.[43] And when they had fulfilled the
days, (7 days) they returned…
Custom = manner according to the divine laws in Torah
Lev. 23
[1] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of Yehovah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy
convocations, even these are my feasts.
[3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.
[4] These are the feasts
of Yehovah, even
holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.
[5] In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is Yehovah's passover.
[6] And on the fifteenth day of the
same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto Yehovah: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.
[7] In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
[8] But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
---------------
Feast of
unleavened bread observed in the Gospels and Letters
Matt. 26 [17] Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came
to Yeshua / Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to
eat the passover?
Mark 14 [1] After two days was the feast of the
passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the
scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.
[12] And the first day of
unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou
that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?
Luke 22 [1] Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called
the Passover.
[7] Then came the day of unleavened
bread, when the passover must be killed.
After the Resurrection, the feast of unleavened bread was also
observed
Acts 12 [3] And because he saw it
pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
Acts 20 [6] And we sailed away from Philippi after
the days of unleavened bread, and came
unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days.
1 Cor. 5 [7] Purge out
therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as
ye are unleavened. For even Messiah our Passover is sacrificed for us:
[8] Therefore let us keep the feast,
not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with
the unleavened bread of sincerity and
truth.

The feasts and holydays of Yehovah are all about the Messiah’s 1st and 2nd
comings
Shadows of “things" to come
http://oneinmessiah.net/col216b.asf
Colossians 2:16:
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of
an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days: 17: Which are a shadow of "things to come";(future
tense)
But (and) the body is of Messiah.
---------------
The reason I give you these words in
their original language so you can get more exact meaning!
Judge - κρινω krino: to try to

pick out, to be of opinion, judge, to pronounce an opinion concerning right and
wrong, to contend, to dispute

--------
Shadow - σκια skia : shadow, an image cast by an object and
representing the form of that object, a sketch, outline
----------
A
Sabbath
The Sabbath is not a
service for an hour and a half, but a 24 hour
period, the seventh day. Not just any day you pick.
Ex. 20 [8] Remember the
Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yehovah thy God:
in it thou shalt not do any
work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant,
nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy
gates:
[11] For in
six days Yehovah made heaven and
earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.
זכר Remember - zâkar - zaw-kar' - A primitive root;

That was my explanation of the 7 extra Sabbaths, holy convocations;
please go over it as many times as you need.
----------------
Remember, these holydays
were observed 1000's of years later in the Gospels and Letters. After Yeshua and all the Apostles die it seems many of God’s observances and
memorials were deleted.
-------------
We observe these feasts and holy days in memorial the best
we understand.
We are just following Yeshua and
the Apostles
May God forgive us all for the things
we know not.
See you tomorrow for the last Sabbath of the Feast of
Unleavened Bread which happens to be the First Fruits
this year!
