August -- Augustus Caesar's month

Latin Augustus "Augustus"
Latin Augustus mensis "month of Augustus"
Latin sextilis mensis "sixth month"

Sextilis had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 31 days long.

Augustus Caesar clarified and completed the calendar reform of Julius Caesar. In the process, he also renamed this month after himself.

The 5^th month of God which has no name, 26^th day

Judaism calls the 5^th month Av which is not in the Hebrew Bible nor is scriptural

Neh.7[73] So the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel were in their cities.

Torah ( law, teachings )

Ta Na Kk is a acronym for:

T = Torah - first 5 books of Moses

N = Navi' eem or prophets (pl. sounds like - Na vi eem)

K = Ke'tuvim or writings (psalms etc.)

At this point, there were neither gospels nor letters.

Remember, there were neither Protestants before 1500 AD nor Catholics at the time of Messiah Yeshua.

Messiah - מְשִיחַ

The English word Christian below is Messiah followers, not Protestants or Catholics.

Spellings of some names in Hebrew

Yah - יָהּ

Yeshua - יֵשׁוּעַ

Notice from the right to the left, the first 2 consonant letters, they are different in Yah and Yeshua

יָהּ   Y  H

Just by this we can conclude the names are pronounced differently

It is not Yahwah, oe Yahusha , not Hebrew

[19] And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Pss.104 [19] He appointed the moon for seasons:

עָשָׂה יָרֵחַ, לְמוֹעֲדִים

הַמָּאוֹר הַקָּטֹן  - the lesser light

Moon - month

ירח   yareach - yaw-ray'-akh - the moon

There seems to be some confusion about the 12 apostles

The 12 apostles

Let’s review the 4 lists below. Each shows three groups of four apostles. When grouped together, you can see many similarities between them.

  The names that are not exactly the same in all four lists are:

 

The differences come down to this:

Matthew is Matthew the publican.

Lebbaeus surnamed Thaddeus, is Judas brother of James.

Lebbaeus means a man of heart. Thaddaeus means large-hearted or courageous. Both are the apostle named Judas. They are one and the same person.

Λεββαιος Lebbaios - Lebbaeus = a man of heart

Θαδδαιος Thaddaios - Thaddaeus = large hearted, courageous

Jude, who was one of the twelve apostles

Simon the Canaanite is Simon Zelotes

The term Zelotes means "zealot." "Canaanite" simply describes where he is from and "Zelotes" tells us he was a zealot.
