Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the
1500’s,
June 6, 2015
Very pagan
June -- Juno's month
Middle English jun(e)
Old French juin
Old English juninus
Latin Junius "of Juno"
Latin Junius mensis "month of Juno"
Junius had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it
became 30 days long.
Juno is the
principle goddess of the Roman Pantheon. She is the goddess of marriage and the well-being of
women.
She is the wife and
sister of Jupiter.
She is identified with the Greek goddess Hera.

We acknowledge God’s calendar
We are now in:
The 3rd month of God called
Sivan, 18th day

Question:
Why are we here today?
Answer: We
were told to remember the Sabbath day
How
to keep the Sabbath
Exod. 20
[8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep
it holy.
[9] Six days shalt thou labour,
and do all thy work:
[10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God:
in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy
daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger
that is within thy gates:
[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and
earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore
Yehovah blessed the sabbath
day, and hallowed it.
------------
Deut. 5
[12] Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as Yehovah thy God hath
commanded thee.
[13] Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:
[14] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah
thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou,
nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor
thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy
maidservant may rest as well as thou.
[15] And remember that thou wast
a servant in the land of Egypt, and that Yehovah thy God brought thee out
thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore Yehovah thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
------------
Lev. 23
[3] Six days shall work be done:
But the seventh day is
the Sabbath of rest, an holy convocation;
ye shall do no work therein:
it is the
Sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.
--------
Isa. 58 [13] If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy
pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath
a delight, the holy of Yehovah, honorable; and shalt honor him,
1 - not doing
thine own ways,
2 - nor
finding thine own pleasure,
3 - nor
speaking thine own words:
[14] Then shalt thou delight thyself in Yehovah; and I
will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with
the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of
Yehovah hath spoken it.
------------------------
Buying
and selling is evil on the Sabbath
Neh. 13 [16] There dwelt men of Tyre also
therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the Sabbath unto the children of Judah,
and in Jerusalem.
[17] Then I contended with the nobles of
Judah, and said unto them, what evil thing is this
that ye do, and profane the Sabbath day?
------------------------
We read from law and the prophets every Sabbath
like they did in the Book of Acts
The Word of God - Torah, Prophets and Writings (psalms)
Torah (law, teachings)
Ta Na Kk is a acronym for:
T = Torah - first 5 books of Moses
N = Navi' eem or prophets (pl. sounds like - Na vi eem)
K = Ke'tuvim or writings (psalms etc.)
At this point,
there were neither gospels nor letters.
60 times in the Gospels
and letters it uses the word Sabbath!

Today’s topic:
Bible 101 again
In this study, I present a small list
of questions that all believers in Messiah Yeshua / Jesus should be able to
answer.
If you learn these questions and can
answer them scripturally, you will know more scripture than most pseudo Christians
and pastors.
---------
Let’s begin, here are a few questions:
What is sin?
Where are the Ten Commandments
located in scriptures?
What are the Ten
Commandments?
Are you keeping the
commandments?
Are the commandments
applicable for today?
What is our righteousness?
What are ignorant and
willful, presumptuous sin.
Can you be perfect?
What is love?
What does born again mean?
What was the original
meaning of the word Christian?
What is the meaning of the
word church?
What is the new covenant?
Who was the new covenant
given to?
Do you need to
"Fear" the Lord (Yehovah) always?
What does holy mean?
Do you know your body is the
Temple of the Living God?
How should I dress as a
woman?
Does Yehovah have His own
calendar?
Does Yehovah have His own
feasts in scripture?
Know ye not that the
unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?
Do you know you are the
light of the world? ;
Hath God hath not cast away
his people which he foreknew?
-----------------------------------------------
Let's answer these questions above:
What is sin?
1 John, chapter 3:4 Whosoever committeth
sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
Going around the
commandments:
Romans 7:8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all
manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
11: For sin,
taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
Romans 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid . Nay, I had not known sin, but
by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not
covet.
---------
Where are the Ten
Commandments located in scriptures?
Exod. 20 and Deut. 5
--------------
What are the Ten
Commandments?
--------------
Are you keeping them?
Deut.4 [13] And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded
you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of
stone.
Exod.20
1 - And God spake all these words,
saying, I am Yehovah
thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of
bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
2 - Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image,
or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above,
or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou
shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I Yehovah thy God am a
jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the
third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing
mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
3 - Thou shalt not take the name of Yehovah
thy God in vain; for Yehovah will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name
in vain.
4 - Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the
seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God : in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor
thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy
stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days Yehovah made heaven and
earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah
blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
5 - Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon
the land which Yehovah thy God giveth thee.
6 - Thou shalt not kill.
7 - Thou shalt not commit adultery.
8 - Thou shalt not steal.
9 - Thou shalt not bear false witness
against thy neighbour.
10 - Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not
covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor
his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
Matt.22 Yeshua - Jesus said:
Commandments 1 to 4
[36] Master, which is the great
commandment in the law?
[37] Yeshua - Jesus said unto him, Thou
shalt love Yehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
[38] This is the first and
great commandment.
------------
Now Commandments 6 to 10
[39] And the second is like unto it,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
[40] On these two
commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
1 John 2[4] He that saith, I know him, and keepeth
not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth
is not in him.
Rev.21 [8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers,
and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all
liars ,
shall have their part in the lake which burneth with
fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
John.14: 15
If ye love me, keep my commandments .
John.15 [10 ] If ye
keep my commandments ,
ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and
abide in his love.
Ecclesiastes (Qoheleth),
Chapter 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole
matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments:
for this is the whole duty of man.
14: For God shall bring every work into
judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good,
or whether it be evil.
--------------
Are the commandments
applicable for today? (2015 and "always")
Deuteronomy, chapter 5:29 O that there
were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always
, that it might be well with them, and with their children forever!
Deuteronomy, chapter 11:1 Therefore
thou shalt love Yehovah thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his
judgments, and his commandments, always.
Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his
commandments, that they may have right to the
tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
--------------
What are ignorant and willful, presumptuous sin?
Here are some examples of presumptuous and ignorant sin
Exodus 21:14 But if a man come presumptuously
upon his neighbour, to slay
him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.
Numbers 15:30 But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth Yehovah; and that soul shall be cut off from
among his people.
Deuteronomy 1:43 So I spake unto you; and ye would
not hear, but rebelled against the commandment of Yehovah, and went presumptuously up into the hill.
Deuteronomy 17:12 And the man that will do presumptuously , and will not
hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before Yehovah thy God,
or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil
from Israel.
Deuteronomy 17:13 And all the people shall hear,
and fear, and do no more presumptuously
.
Deuteronomy 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the
name of Yehovah, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing
which Yehovah hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt
not be afraid of him
Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin willfully after that we
have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth
no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery
indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28 He that despised Moses' law died
without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29
Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be
thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son
of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was
sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? 30 For
we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto
me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his
people. 31 It
is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
-----------
Numbers 15:28 And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance
before Yehovah, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.
Deuteronomy 19:4 And this is the case of the slayer, which shall flee thither,
that he may live: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past;
Leviticus 4:2 Speak unto the children of
Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance
against any of the commandments of Yehovah
concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:
Leviticus 4:13 And if the whole congregation of
Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and
they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of Yehovah concerning
things which should not be done, and are guilty;
Leviticus 4:22 When a ruler hath sinned, and
done somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of Yehovah his God
concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;
Leviticus 4:27 And if any one of the common
people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments
of Yehovah concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;
Leviticus 5:15 If a soul commit a trespass, and
sin through ignorance , in the holy things of Yehovah; then he shall bring for
his trespass unto Yehovah a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy
estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a
trespass offering:
Leviticus 5:18 And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock,
with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest: and the priest
shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wist it
not, and it shall be forgiven him.
Numbers 15:24 Then it shall be, if ought be
committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the
congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour unto Yehovah, with his meat offering, and his drink
offering, according to the manner, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering.
Numbers 15:25 And the priest shall make an
atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be
forgiven them; for it is ignorance : and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by
fire unto Yehovah, and their sin offering before Yehovah, for their ignorance :
Numbers 15:26 And it shall be forgiven all the
congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; seeing all the people were in ignorance .
Numbers 15:27 And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a
sin offering.
Numbers 15:28 And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth
by ignorance
before Yehovah, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.
Numbers 15:29 Ye shall have one law for him
that sinneth through ignorance , both for him that is born among the children of Israel,
and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.
Acts 3:17 And now, brethren, I wot that
through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.
Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth
all men every where to repent:
Ephesians 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life
of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
1Peter 1:14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to
the former lusts in your ignorance…
--------------
What is our righteousness?
Deuteronomy 6:25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before Yehovah our God, as he hath commanded
--------------
Be perfect?
The world has implanted in
our minds and consciousness through advertisements on television, videos, DVDs,
CDs and other media the meaning of the word perfect.
We always hear about the
perfect weight, shape, smile, image etc.
We need to look into the
word of God and see through the scriptures the meaning of the word perfect.
A few examples of this would
be:
1 - The world says be sexy, God says be holy. (Leviticus 19:2 ...Ye shall be holy: for I
Yehovah your God am holy.)
2 - The world says, no
one's perfect, God says be perfect as My Father which is in heaven is perfect. (Matthew 5:48)
3 - The world says,
everyone sins, Yeshua / Jesus say, "Go and sin no more". (John 8:11: ... go, and sin no more).
A simple understanding of
being perfect is examining yourselves if you are keeping the 10 commandments. You know which ones you are keeping and which ones you are not
keeping.
In very simple terms, you are
either doing something or you are not; yes that simple, yes or no, 0 or 1, on
or off.
You might need to make a few adjustments in your life.
:-)
Paul says:
2 Corinthians, chapter 13:5: Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your
own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Yeshua the Messiah /Jesus Messiah
is in you, except ye be reprobates?
Deuteronomy 8:2 And thou shalt remember all the way which Yehovah
thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to
prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest
keep his commandments , or no.
***Serving God is not a
guessing game.
We have no excuse not to know. We have God's
Word as a study guide. God gave us one life span and one Book and there will be
a test!
Deuteronomy 18:13 Thou shalt be perfect with Yehovah thy God.
1 Kings 8:61 Let your heart therefore be perfect with Yehovah our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his
commandments, as at this day.
Matthew 19:21Yeshua said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect , go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt
have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
2Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of
good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace
shall be with you.
Philippians 3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even
this unto you.
2Timothy 3:17 That the man of God
may be perfect throughly furnished
unto all good works.
James 1:4 But let patience have
her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and
entire, wanting nothing.
---
Remember:
Paul says again,
1 Thessalonians, chapter
5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
2 Timothy, chapter 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God , a workman that needeth
not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Colossians, chapter 4:6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned
with salt, that ye may know how ye ought
to answer every man.
Colossians, chapter 3:16: Let the word of Messiah dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and
hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
2 Peter, chapter 3:18 But grow in grace, and
in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour
Jesus Messiah. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
Rom.12 [ 2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
--------------
What is love?
Is it Kisses, hugs, ice
cream, cake and cookies? Sounds nice...but John says: 2 John, chapter 1:6:
And this is love, that we walk after His Commandments. This is the commandment, that, as
ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
--------------
What does born again mean?
When we are born again, we
are to renounce the old Man. We should not bring over to the new man the old
traditions, feasts or anything from the past life of sin.
We are to be first babes in
Messiah, 1Pet.2[2] As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye
may grow thereby.
When you are born again,
you have to realize as a gentile, you are grafted into the natural branches,
true believers, and all of us are connected to Messiah Yeshua who is the VINE.
You are now equal to those
who received and keep God's Commandments.
We are all one in Messiah.
2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Messiah, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Ephesians 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even
the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of
twain one new man , so making peace;
Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the
new man, which after God is
created in righteousness and true holiness.
Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image
of him that created him:
Romans 6: 5 For if we have been planted together in the
likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him,
that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve
sin.
Ephesians 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former
conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful
lusts;
Colossians 3:9 Lie not one to
another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
--------------

2 questions:
What is the new covenant?
Who was the new covenant
given to?
Heb. 8:8 -12: For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold,
the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the
house of Judah: Not according to the
covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my
covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I
will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their
mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they
shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the
Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be
merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I
remember no more.
Jer. 31:31-37: Behold, the days come, saith Yehovah, that I will make a new covenant with the house
of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in
the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt;
which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith Yehovah:
But this shall be the
covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith Yehovah, I will put my
law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God,
and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know Yehovah:
for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them,
saith Yehovah; for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin
no more. Thus saith Yehovah, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the
ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of
hosts is his name: If those ordinances depart from before me, saith Yehovah,
then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. Thus saith Yehovah; If heaven above can be
measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also
cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith Yehovah.
Luke 22:20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying,
This cup is the new testament in my blood, which
is shed for you.

Do you need to "Fear Yehovah
always?
Proverbs, chapter 28 :14: Happy is the man that feareth always : but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.
Job, chapter 28:28: And unto man he said,
Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
Deuteronomy, chapter 4:10 Specially the day that thou stoodest
before Yehovah thy God in Horeb, when Yehovah said
unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words,
that they may learn to fear me all the days that
they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.
Deuteronomy, chapter 5 :29: O that there were such an heart in them, that
they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always , that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
Deuteronomy, chapter 6:24: And Yehovah commanded us to do all these
statutes, to fear Yehovah our God, for our good always , that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
Deuteronomy, chapter 6:2: That thou mightest
fear Yehovah thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I
command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
Deuteronomy, chapter 14 :23: And thou shalt eat before Yehovah thy God, in
the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn,
of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy
flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear Yehovah thy God always.
Deuteronomy, chapter 17 19 And it shall be with him, and he shall read
therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear Yehovah
his God , to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:
Ecclesiastes (Qoheleth), Chapter 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14: For God shall bring every work into judgment, with
every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it
be evil.
Deuteronomy 31:13 And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear Yehovah your God, as long as ye live in the land
whither ye go over Jordan to possess it

unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?

God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators,
nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with
mankind, 10: Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Do you know youare the light of the world?
Matthew 5:14-16 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but
on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and
glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Hath God cast away his
people?
Romans 11:1-5 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid . For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of
Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot
ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, Lord,
they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine
altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. But what saith the answer
of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not
bowed the knee to the image of Baal. Even so then at this present time also
there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
