Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from
the 1500’s,
June 4,
2016
June -- Juno's month
Middle English jun(e)
Old French juin
Old English junius
Latin Junius "of
Juno"
Latin Junius mensis "month
of Juno"
Junius had 30 days, until
Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 30 days long.
Juno is the principle goddess of the Roman Pantheon. She is the goddess of
marriage and the well-being of women. She is the wife and sister of Jupiter.
She is identified with the Greek goddess Hera.

Yehovah has His own calendar
Today is the 28th day of the second month of God called Ziv / Zif,
1 Kgs. 6 [1] And it came to pass in the four hundred and
eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt,
in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the
month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of Yehovah.
זִו - ziv - brightness, (figuratively) the
month of flowers
***Make sure
you change your Judaism calendars – The 2nd month is not Iyyar as Judaism states, it is Ziv as scripture stated it.

Today’s topic:
Counting the Cost
again
Do you want to
serve God “all the way”?
Joel 3 [14] Multitudes, multitudes in the
valley of decision: for the day of the Yehovah is
near in the valley of decision.
--------------------
Many People
"Making excuses" (to serve God all the way)
Luke 14 [16] Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great
supper, and bade many:
[17]
And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now
ready.
[18] And they all with one consent began to make excuse.
The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs
go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.
[19] And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.
[20] And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
[21] So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then
the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and
lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt,
and the blind.
[22] And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast
commanded, and yet there is room.
[23] And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into
the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be
filled.
[24]
For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.
[25] And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,
[26] If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife,
and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
[27]
And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
----------------
[28] For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost,
whether he have sufficient to finish it?
[29]
Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it,
all that behold it begin to mock him,
[30]
Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
[31]
Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh
against him with twenty thousand?
[32] Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.
[33] So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not
"All that he hath", he cannot be my disciple.
[34] Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be
seasoned?
[35]
It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out.
He that hath ears
to hear, let him hear.

The 3 Gospel
accounts are all a little different
"A sower went forth to sow"
Matt. 13
[1]
The same day went Yeshua out
of the house, and sat by the sea side.
[2] And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he
went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.
[3]
And he spake many
things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to
sow;
[4]
And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side,
and the fowls came and devoured them up:
[5]
Some fell upon stony places, where they
had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness
of earth:
[6] And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no
root, they withered away.
[7]
And some fell among thorns; and the
thorns sprung up, and choked them:
[8]
But other fell into good ground, and
brought forth fruit, some an
hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
[9]
Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
------
Some seeds fell by the way side
Some fell upon stony places
Some fell among thorns
Other fell into good ground
-----------
[18] Hear ye
therefore the parable of the sower.
[19]
When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which
was sown in his heart. This is he which received
seed by the way side.
[20]
But he that received the seed into stony places,
the same is he that heareth the
word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
[21] Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for
a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth
because of the word, by and by he is offended.
[22]
He also that received seed among the thorns
is he that heareth the
word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the
word, and he becometh
unfruitful.
[23]
But he that received seed into the good ground is
he that heareth the
word, and understandeth it;
which also beareth
fruit, and bringeth
forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
----------------
Luke 8
[4] And when much people were gathered
together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable:
[5]
A sower went out to sow his seed: and
as he sowed, some fell by the way side;
and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
[6]
And some fell upon a rock; and as soon
as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.
[7]
And some fell among thorns; and the
thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.
[8]
And other fell on good ground, and
sprang up, and bare
fruit an
hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
-------
Some fell by the way side
Some fell upon a rock
Some fell among thorns
Other fell on good ground
--------
[11] Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
[12]
Those by the way side are they that
hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts,
lest they should believe and be saved.
[13]
They on the rock are they, which, when
they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while
believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
[14]
And that which fell among thorns are they,
which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and
pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
[15]
But that on the good ground are they,
which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring
forth fruit with patience.
----------
Mark 4
[1]
And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a
great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the
whole multitude was by the sea on the land.
[2] And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in
his doctrine,
[3]
Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:
[4]
And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the
way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.
[5]
And some fell on stony ground, where it
had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of
earth:
[6] But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no
root, it withered away.
[7]
And some fell among thorns, and the thorns
grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
[8]
And other fell on good ground, and did
yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.
[9] And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

----------
[14] The sower soweth the word.
[15]
And these are they by the way side,
where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and
taketh away the word that was sown
in their hearts.
[16]
And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word,
immediately receive it with gladness;
[17] And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time:
afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for
the word's sake, immediately they are offended.
[18]
And these are they which are sown among thorns;
such as hear the word,
[19] And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and
the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
[20]
And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive
it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

Which one are you?
---------------
Let’s read about “the covenant that you
joined”
The words of the covenant
were given to God's people Israel, no heathen
Deut.29
[1] These are the words of the covenant, which Yehovah commanded Moses to make with the children of
Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant
which he made with them in Horeb.
[2] And Moses called unto all Israel, and
said unto them, Ye have seen all that Yehovah did before your eyes in the land of Egypt unto Pharaoh, and unto all his
servants, and unto all his land;
[3] The great temptations which thine eyes have seen, the signs, and those great miracles:
[4] Yet Yehovah hath not given you an heart
to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.
[5] And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not
waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot.
[6] Ye have not eaten bread, neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink: that
ye might know that I am Yehovah your God.
[7] And when ye came unto this place, Sihon the king of Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, came out against us unto
battle, and we smote them:
[8] And we took their land, and gave it for an inheritance unto the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the half tribe of Manasseh.
[9] Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that
ye do.
[10] Ye stand this day all of you before Yehovah your God; your captains of your tribes, your
elders, and your officers, with all the men of Israel,[11] Your little ones,
your wives, and thy stranger that is in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood unto
the drawer of thy water:
[12] That thou shouldest enter into covenant with Yehovah thy God, and into his oath, which Yehovah thy God maketh with thee this day:
[13] That he may establish
thee to day for a people unto himself,
and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath
sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
[14] Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;
[15] But with him that standeth here with us this day
before Yehovah our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day: (us)
[16] (For ye know how we have dwelt in the land
of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which ye passed by;
[17] And ye have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone,
silver and gold, which were among them:)
[18] Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose
heart turneth away this day from Yehovah our God, to go and serve the gods of these
nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;
[19] And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in
his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine
heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:
[20] Yehovah will not spare him, but
then the anger of Yehovah and his jealousy shall
smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall
lie upon him, and Yehovah shall blot out his name
from under heaven.
[21] And Yehovah shall separate him unto
evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all
the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law:
[22] So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after
you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of
that land, and the sicknesses which Yehovah hath laid upon it;
[23] And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that
it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and
Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which Yehovah overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:
[24] Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath Yehovah done thus unto this land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger?
[25] Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of Yehovah God of their fathers, which he made with them
when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt:
[26] For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they
knew not, and whom he had not given unto them:
[27] And the anger of Yehovah was kindled against this
land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book:
[28] And Yehovah rooted them out of their
land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into
another land, as it is this day.
[29] The secret things belong unto Yehovah our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our
children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

The New
Covenant was also given to all Israel, Jacobs children
The words
of the new covenant were also given to God's
people Israel, no heathen
Jer.31 [31] Behold, the days come, saith Yehovah, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the
house of Judah:
[33] But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
Here is the New Covenant
After those days, saith Yehovah, I
will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will
be their God, and they shall be my people.
Saul quotes Jer.31
Heb.8 [8] For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith Yehovah, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with
the house of Judah: [10] For this is the
covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after
those days,
;
Here is the New Covenant
I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their
hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

Don’t return back

"Remember Lot's
wife"
Luke 17
[30]
Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
[31]
In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house,
let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
[32] Remember Lot's wife.
[33]
Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose
his life shall preserve it.
----------
Let us "Remember Lot's
wife" now
Read the whole chapter yourselves - Gen. 19
Sodom, Lot, his wife, and two daughters
Destruction of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim
[13]
For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before
the face of the Yehovah; and
the Yehovah hath se nt us
to destroy it.
[17] And it came to pass, when they had
brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all
the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.
[24]
Then the Yehovah
rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Yehovah out of heaven;
[25] And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the
inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
[26] But his wife looked back from behind him, and
she became a pillar of salt.
-----------------------
Peter says:
2 Pet. 2
[20] For if after
they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord
and Saviour Yeshua the Messiah, they
are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse
with them than the beginning.
[21] For it had been
better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy
commandment delivered unto them.
[22] But it is
happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to
his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
----------------
Prov. 26
[11] As a dog returneth to his vomit, so
a fool returneth to his folly.
----------
Sad, some say 'It is vain to
serve God"
Mal. 3[14] Ye have said, It is vain to serve
God: and what profit is it that we have kept his
ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the Yehovah of hosts?
----------
Consider this:
Ecc. 7 [8] Better is the end of a thing than
the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in
spirit.
[9] Be not hasty in thy
spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in
the bosom of fools.
[10] Say not thou, What is the cause that
the former days were better than these? for thou dost not inquire
wisely concerning this.
----------
The backslider
Prov. 14[14] The
backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways
----------
Heb. 10
[35]
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
[36]
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye
might receive the promise.
[37]
For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
[38]
Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no
pleasure in him.
----------
Hab. 2 [4] Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright
in him: but the just shall live by his faith.)
[39] But we are not of them who
draw back unto perdition; but of them that
believe to the saving of the soul.
