Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s.

Today is March 4th, 2017

March -- Mars' month

Middle English March(e)
Anglo-French March(e)
Old English Martius
Latin Martius "of Mars"
Latin Marti(s) "Mars" + -us (adj. suffix)
Latin Martius mensis "month of Mars"

Martius has always had 31 days.

March was the original beginning of the year, and the time for the resumption of war.

Mars is the Roman god of war. He is identified with the Greek god Ares.

------------------

Yehovah God has His own calendar, which is deleted in the world

We are now in the 12th the month of the God of Israel called Adar, 5th day

Esth.3 [7] In the first month, that is, the month Nisan,נִיסָן  in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar. אֲדָר

Adar אֲדָר - to become glorious, make honorable; a cloak, mantle

A part of March / April 2017

**Purim is coming!

Question: So why are we here today?

Answer: We were told to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy.

I will explain the Sabbath day from Scripture, the 7th day.

The Sabbath is not a service for an hour and a half, but a 24 hour period, the seventh day.

Not any day you pick.

This is how simple Sabbath is:

Gen.2 [1] Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

[2] And on the seventh day God ended his work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.

[3] And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made.

-------------

Lev. 23 [32] … from even (sunset) unto even (sunset), shall ye celebrate your Sabbath.

The Sabbath is the 4th Commandment of the covenant given to us at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month, Sivan

The 10 commandments are in Exod. 20 and Deut. 5 - if you just know this, you will know more than most ministers.

זכר Remember

zâkar - zaw-kar' - A primitive root; properly to mark (so as to be recognized), that is, to remember; by implication to mention; make mention of, be mindful, recount, record (-er), remember, make to be remembered, bring (call, come, keep, put) to (in) remembrance, be still, think on, well.

Ex. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yehovah thy God:

in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.

--------

Isa. 58 [13] If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of Yehovah, honorable; and shalt honor him,

1 - not doing thine (your) own ways

2 - nor finding thine (your) own pleasure

3 - nor speaking thine (your) own words:

[14] Then shalt thou delight thyself in Yehovah; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of Yehovah hath spoken it.

------------

Lev. 23 [3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an "holy convocation"; ye shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.

Dwelling:מושׁב  môshâv - seat, assembly, dwelling-place, dwelling, your situation, location, (at) time of dwelling.

All Sabbaths are "holy convocations, a miqra kodesh"

Lev.23

[1] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, concerning the feasts of Yehovah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are My feasts.

[3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an
holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.

[4] These are the feasts of Yehovah, even
holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

מקרא miqra: convocation, convoking, reading, a calling  together, sacred assembly, something called out, that is, a public meeting (the act, the persons, or the place); also a rehearsal

קדשׁ kodesh: a sacred place or thing; consecrated, dedicated, hallowed, holiness, saint, sanctuary, apartness, sacredness, separateness, apartness, sacredness, holiness: All to the God of Israel.

------------

Buying and selling is evil on the Sabbath.

Neh. 13 [16] There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the sabbath unto the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem.

[17] Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, what evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the Sabbath day?

The feasts and holydays of Yehovah are all about the Messiah’s 1st and 2nd coming

Shadows of “things" to come

http://oneinmessiah.net/col216b.asf

These verses below  interpreted by pseudo Christians without any understanding of what’s being said.

This is a letter written by the apostle Paul cautioning the Colossians at Colosse, to beware of evil individuals that were trying to turn them from the true God of Israel.

A letter to the Colossians 2:16:

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days: 17: Which are a shadow of "things to come";(future tense).

But (and) the body is of Messiah / Christ.

---------------

The reason I give you these words in their original language so you can get more exact meaning!

Beware of evil individuals:

Judge - κρινω krino: to try to condemn, to separate, put asunder, to pick out, to be of opinion, judge, to pronounce an opinion concerning right and wrong, to contend, to dispute

--------

Holyday - εορτη heorte -heh-or-tay' - a festival, feast, holyday

--------

New moon - νουμηνία - noumēnia - noo-may-nee'-ah - the festival of the new moon

--------

Sabbath days - σάββατον - sabbaton sab'-bat-on Of Hebrew origin - the Sabbath (that is, Shabbath), 7th day of week repose from secular avocations (also the observance or institution itself); Also there are 7 extra sabbaths in the feasts of Yehovah.

--------

Shadow - σκια skia : shadow, an image cast by an object and representing the form of that object, a sketch, outline

--------

Now learn something new, never talked about in most congregations

"7" other Sabbaths besides the weekly 7th day Sabbath

There are "7" other holydays which are treated like the Sabbath.

NO WORK - NO BUYING or SELLING

1 – 3 – 7

The 1st month, the 3rd month, and the 7th month.

The 1st month has “2” extra Sabbaths.

The 3rd month has “1” extra Sabbaths.

The 7th month has “4” extra Sabbaths

7

-----------------------

Read: Lev. 23 to get all the details

------------------------------------------

The first day is mentioned only 2 times when they met for certain events in Acts and in the letter to the Corinthians.

It never says the 1st day replaced the 7th day as Sabbath.

It never says the 1st day is a Commandment or a rest.

Acts 20:7 and upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

1 Corinthians 16:2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

Why doesn’t any pseudo Christian ever mention the 60 times in the Gospels and letters it uses the word Sabbath!

They only mention these 2 places, Acts 20:7 - 1 Corinthians 16:2

-----------------------

So an important question should be: What is sin?

1 John 3[4] whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. (Torah, teachings)

So breaking a commandment is sin

---------

John 8 [34] Yeshua answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you,

Whosoever commits sin is the servant of sin.

1 John 3 [8] He that committees sin is of the devil;

for the devil sins from the beginning

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He, (Yeshua) might destroy the works of the devil.

James tells us:

Jas.4 [17] Therefore to him that knows to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

How many people that are in sin and are of the devil are going to live with God when it is all over? NONE!

Isa.59 [2] But your iniquities (sins) have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear.

-------------------------

We read from the law and the prophets every Sabbath like they did in the Book of Acts.

Acts: 13 [15] And after the reading of the law and the prophets…

Luke 24 [44] And Yeshua said unto them, These are the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning Me.

The Word of God - Torah, Prophets and Writings (psalms), as Yeshua put it.

Ta Na Kk is an acronym for:

T = Torah (law, teachings) - first 5 books God gave to Moses

N = Navi' eem or prophets (pl. sounds like - Na vi eem)

K = Ke'tuvim or writings (psalms etc.)

At this point, there were neither gospels nor letters written.

--------------------

Today’s Topic:

Endure!

Let’s read:

Jas.5 [10] Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

[11] Behold, we count them happy which endure.

Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

Matt.10 [22] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

--------------

Let’s be like Messiah / Charity

1 Cor.13

Attributes of the Messiah

Let’s exchange the word charity for the word Messiah and see what we get

[1] Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (Messiah), I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

[2] And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, (Messiah) I am nothing.

[3] And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, (Messiah), it profiteth me nothing.

[4 Charity, (the Messiah ) suffereth long, and is kind; charity, (the Messiah )  envieth not; charity, (the Messiah ) vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

[5] Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

[6] Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

[7] Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

[8] Charity, (the Messiah) never fails: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

[13] And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three;

but the greatest of these is charity, (the Messiah).

-------------------

Some don’t endure

Mark 4

[3] Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:

[16]… these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness

[17] And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution arises for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

----------------

Some letters from Saul / Paul, please notice the letters are always referencing the Torah.

2 Thes. 1

[1] Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah:
[2] Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord
Yeshua the Messiah.
[3] We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith
groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

[4] So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:

[5] Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:

2 Tim. 2

[1] Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Messiah Yeshua.
[2] And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

[3] Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Yeshua the Messiah.

[4] No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
[5] And if
a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
[6] The husbandman that
laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.
[7] Consider what I say; and the Lord
give thee understanding in all things.
[8] Remember that
Yeshua the Messiah of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel

[9] Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.

[10] Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Messiah Yeshua with eternal glory.

[11] It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
[12] If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him: if we deny him, He also will deny us:
[13] If we believe not, yet He
abideth faithful: He cannot deny Himself.

2Tim.4 [5] But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

---------------------

Heb.6 [12] … be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

[13] For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
[14] Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
[15] And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

-------------------

Many People endured through faith

Here is a list of people from Torah

Heb.11 [1] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things ot seen.[2] For by it the elders obtained a good report.

[3] Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

[4] By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

[5] By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

[6] But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

[7] By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

[8] By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
[9] By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
[10] For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

[11] Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

[12] Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.

[13] These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

[14] For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
[15] And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

[16] But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

[17] By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
[18] Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:
[19] Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.

[20] By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.

[21] By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.

[22] By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.

[23] By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.

[24] By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;
[25] Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
[26] Esteeming the reproach of Messiah greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the
recompence of the reward.

[27] By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

[28] Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

[29] By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.

[30] By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.

[31] By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.

[32] And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:

[33] Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,

[34] Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

[35] Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

[36] And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:

[37] They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;

[38] (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

------------

Heb.12 [1] Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

[2] Looking unto Yeshua the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

[3] For consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

[4] Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. - Yet

 -----------------

[12] Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

[13] And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

[14] Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

 [15] Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

[16] Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. [17] For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

[18] For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

[19] And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:

[20] For they could not endure that which was commanded,

And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:[21] And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:

[29] For our God is a consuming fire.

 Endure!

Matt.10 [22] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endures to the end shall be saved

Ecc.9 [10] Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might;  for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

Luke.9 [57] And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever Thou goest.

[58] And Yeshua said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

[59] And He said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

[60]Yeshua said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

[61] And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.

[62] And Yeshua said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

-----------

Matt.7 [13] Enter ye in at the strait gate:

for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

[14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Be one of the few, don’t let people in this world, situations, or events bring you down.

----

One day in someone’s future:

Luke.21 [25] And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

[26] Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

[27] And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

[28] And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws nigh.
