Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s.

Today is May 27, 2017 – in the 21 Century

May -- goddess Maia's month

Old French Mai
Old English Maius
Latin Maius "of Maia"
Latin Maius mensis "month of Maia"

Maius has always had 31 days.

Maia (meaning "the great one") is the Italic goddess of spring, the daughter of Faunus, and wife of Vulcan.

--------------------

Yehovah God has His own calendar, which is deleted from the world

We are now in the 2nd month of God called Ziv / Zif, 30th day

You can start your own scriptural calendar.

1 Kgs. 6 [1] And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of Yehovah.

זִו - ziv - brightness, (figuratively) the month of flowers

***Make sure you change your Judaism calendars – The 2nd month is not Iyyar as Judaism and some Messianics state.

A few days in April / May

----

This evening will start the 3rd month Sivan

Esth.8 [9] Then were the king's scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan

 בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁלִישִׁי הוּא־ חֹדֶשׁ סִיוָן

סִיו  (seev) bright, splendid

May / June

----------------

This is the sixth Sabbath of the 7 Sabbaths we were told to count

The "7 week" journey to meet God - again

How will you behave yourselves these 50 days? (Physically and Spiritually)

Remember:  you are the "Temple of the Living God" and the "Light of the World"?

--------------------------

From slaves in Egypt to the people of God

A "7 week" journey to consider again,

To receive the giving of the Torah / Law (and the 10 commandments) and the Holy Spirit

----------------------------------

Lev.23 [15] And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be complete: [16] Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto Yehovah.

[21] And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

Spring Feast - Feasts of Weeks / Harvest / Pentecost – Sunday June 4th, 2017 – a Sabbath

50 days from First Fruits:

Judaism and some Messianics are counting the “omer”. They still cannot follow the scriptures correctly.

Remember we will be counting "weeks", Sabbaths not omers

An "omer" is a "sheaf" of barley

 עמר  omer  - A dry measure of 1/10 ephah (about 2 liters)

Feast of Weeks, Hag Sh'vu-ot - חַג שָׁבֻעֹת

Feast of Harvest Hag ha katseer - חַג הַקָּצִיר

Pentecost = 50 days

(A Sabbath) Sunday, (there are 2 Sabbaths in a row)

“Offering time”

Exod.23 [14] Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto Me in the year.

[15] Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month ha Aviv / Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)

[16] And the feast of harvest, Weeks, Pentecost, the first fruits (wheat) of thy labors, which thou hast sown in the field:

and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. [17] Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before Lord Yehovah.

Also:

Deut.16 [16] Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before Yehovah thy God in the place which he shall choose;

in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles:

and they shall not appear before Yehovah empty:

[17] Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of Yehovah thy God which he hath given thee.

------------------------------------------------------

Feasts of Yehovah

Lev. 23

[1] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,
concerning the feasts of Yehovah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.

[3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.

[4] These are the feasts of Yehovah, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

[44] And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of Yehovah.

A short note:

Memorial Day - May 29, 2017 - Monday

Memorial Day is observed on the last Monday of May. It was formerly known as Decoration Day and commemorates all men and women who have died in military service for the United States.

With all the terrorist attacks, please be safe!

Eph.5 [15] See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise

Today’s topic:

Every wind of doctrine

I can never go over this message enough

From the time of the Apostles unto now, almost 2000 years have passed.

Now there are so many false doctrines, so many, social media platforms and fancy, Jewish looking websites and Jewish Judaism acting people to deceive you.

Don’t lift up anyone that is not of God, Jew or Gentile

Also watch out for people that lift up themselves

Acts 8 [9] there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
[10] To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.
[11] And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

Another jesus

Acts 13 [6] And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesus:

[7] Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.

[8] But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.

[9] Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,
[10] And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of Yehovah?

[11] And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

---------------

Prov.6 [16] These six things doth Yehovah hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto Him:

[17] A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
[18] An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
[19] A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

-----------------

The Corinthians were a very obstinate group of people.

Read this below:

1Cor.5 [1] It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

2 Cor.11 [4] For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear (or put up) with him.

Just think, almost 2000 years later, how many Jesus’, spirits and gospels are there now to deceive you in many forms?

Almost 2000 years ago, but same as today

Eph.4[14] … be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

-------------------------------

Don’t fall for the Jewish, Judaism, Karaite Judaism things that are still out there today!

Tit.1

[10] For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Jews that rejected the Messiah

[11] Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.

[12] One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
[13] This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;

[14] Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

[15] Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.

[16] They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

--------------------------

1Tim.1

[1] Paul, an apostle of Yeshua the Messiah by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Yeshua the Messiah, which is our hope;

[2] Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Yeshua the Messiah our Lord.

[3] As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,

[4] Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

[5] Now the end (goal) of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:[6] From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;

[7] Desiring to be teachers of the law (torah); understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

[8] But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;

[9] Knowing this, that the law (the judgments) is not made for a righteous man,

but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
[10] For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine…

---------------

Heb.13 [9] Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines.

1Tim.4

[1] Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
[2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

[7] But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

-------------------------

2Tim.4

[1] I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

[2] Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

[3] For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
[4] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

------------------------

Rom.16 [17] Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
[18] For they that are such serve not our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

--------------------------

Be aware of:

2 Cor. 11[26]false brethren

Gal. 2 [4] And that because of false brethren unawares brought in…

2 Cor. 11[13] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Messiah

[14] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

[15] Therefore it is no great thing if his, Satan’s ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

-----------------

John’s words are very powerful and to the point

1 John 2

[18] Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

[22] Who is a liar but he that denieth that Yeshua is the Messiah?

He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son (the Word).

[23] Whosoever denieth the Son, (the Word) the same hath not the Father:

---------------

Think of all the religions that don’t believe God was manifested in the flesh

1Tim. 3 [16] And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:

God was manifest in the flesh

John 1 [1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

[14] And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Back to John - (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son (the Word) hath the Father also.

1 John 4

[1] Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

[2] Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Yeshua is the Messiah is come in the flesh (of Israel) is of God:

[3] And every spirit that confesseth not that Yeshua is the Messiah is come in the flesh (of Israel) is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

-------------

2 John 1 [7] For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Yeshua the Messiah is come in the flesh (of Israel). This is a deceiver and an anti-Messiah.

[8] Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

[9] Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Messiah, hath not God.

He that abideth in the doctrine of Messiah, he hath both the Father and the Son.

[10] If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

[11] For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

--------------------

Rev.2 [14] But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

[15] So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

--------------------------

Peter writes:

2Pet.2 [1] But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

[2] And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

[3] And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

[4] For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

[5] And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

[6] And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

[7] And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
[8] (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

[9] Yehovah knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

[10] But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

[11] Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before Yehovah.

[12] But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

[13] And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time.

Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

[14] Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

[15] Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
[16] But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.

[17] These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.

[18] For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

[19] While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

[20] For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Yeshua the Messiah, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

[21] For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

[22] But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Prov.26 [11] As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly.

-------------------------

Acts.20 [29] For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. [30] Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

[31] Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

[32] And now, brethren, (and sisters) I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

--------------

Remember there is always wise scriptural, Godly council to confer with.

Prov.11 [14] Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.

Prov.24 [6] For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counselors there is safety.

The 3rd month Sivan

Receiving the giving of the Torah again

Exod.19

[1] In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.

[2] For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.

[3] And Moses went up unto God, and Yehovah called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;
[4] Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.

[5] Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
[6] And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

[7] And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which Yehovah commanded him.
[8] And all the people answered together, and said, All that Yehovah hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto Yehovah.

[9] And Yehovah said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto Yehovah.
[10] And Yehovah said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,

[11] And be ready against the third day: for the third day Yehovah will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

[12] And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:
[13] There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.

[14] And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.
[15] And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.

[16] And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.

[17] And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.

[18] And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because Yehovah descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.

[19] And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.

[20] And Yehovah came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount:

and Yehovah called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.

[21] And Yehovah said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto Yehovah to gaze, and many of them perish.

[22] And let the priests also, which come near to Yehovah, sanctify themselves, lest Yehovah break forth upon them.
[23] And Moses said unto Yehovah, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for thou chargedst us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.

[24] And Yehovah said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto Yehovah, lest he break forth upon them.

[25] So Moses went down unto the people, and spake unto them.

Soon - Receiving the giving of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit again

Acts 2

[1] And when the day of Pentecost was fully come (50 days), they were all with one accord in one place. [2] And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
[
3] And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
[
4] And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

---------------

2Chr.15

[1] And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded:
[2] And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him,

Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; Yehovah is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.

[3] Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.

[4] But when they in their trouble did turn unto Yehovah God of Israel, and sought him, He was found of them.

[5] And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries.
[6] And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity.
[7] Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.
[8] And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of Yehovah, that was before the porch of Yehovah.

[9] And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that Yehovah his God was with him.

[10] So they gathered themselves together at Jerusalem in the third month, in the fifteenth year of the reign of Asa.

[11] And they offered unto Yehovah the same time, of the spoil which they had brought, seven hundred oxen and seven thousand sheep.

[12] And they entered into a covenant to seek Yehovah God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul;

[13] That whosoever would not seek Yehovah God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.

[14] And they sware unto Yehovah with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets.

[15] And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and Yehovah gave them rest round about.

[16] And also concerning Maachah the mother of Asa the king, he removed her from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove: and Asa cut down her idol, and stamped it, and burnt it at the brook Kidron.

[17] But the high places were not taken away out of Israel: nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect all his days.

[18] And he brought into the house of God the things that his father had dedicated and that he himself had dedicated, silver, and gold, and vessels.

[19] And there was no more war unto the five and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa.

------------------------

Ezek.31

[1] And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the third month, in the first day of the month, that the word of Yehovah came unto me, saying,

[2] Son of man, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and to his multitude; Whom art thou like in thy greatness?

Esth.8

[1] On that day did the king Ahasuerus give the house of Haman the Jews' enemy unto Esther the queen. And Mordecai came before the king; for Esther had told what he was unto her.
[
2] And the king took off his ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it unto Mordecai. And Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman.
[
3] And Esther spake yet again before the king, and fell down at his feet, and besought him with tears to put away the mischief of Haman the Agagite, and his device that he had devised against the Jews.
[
4] Then the king held out the golden sceptre toward Esther. So Esther arose, and stood before the king,
[
5] And said, If it please the king, and if I have found favour in his sight, and the thing seem right before the king, and I be pleasing in his eyes, let it be written to reverse the letters devised by Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews which are in all the king's provinces:
[
6] For how can I endure to see the evil that shall come unto my people? or how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?
[
7] Then the king Ahasuerus said unto Esther the queen and to Mordecai the Jew, Behold, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and him they have hanged upon the gallows, because he laid his hand upon the Jews.
[
8] Write ye also for the Jews, as it liketh you, in the king's name, and seal it with the king's ring: for the writing which is written in the king's name, and sealed with the king's ring, may no man reverse.
[
9] Then were the king's scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty and seven provinces, unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto every people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and according to their language.
[
10] And he wrote in the king Ahasuerus' name, and sealed it with the king's ring, and sent letters by posts on horseback, and riders on mules, camels, and young dromedaries:
[
11] Wherein the king granted the Jews which were in every city to gather themselves together, and to stand for their life, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all the power of the people and province that would assault them, both little ones and women, and to take the spoil of them for a prey,
[
12] Upon one day in all the provinces of king Ahasuerus, namely, upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar.
[
13] The copy of the writing for a commandment to be given in every province was published unto all people, and that the Jews should be ready against that day to avenge themselves on their enemies.
[
14] So the posts that rode upon mules and camels went out, being hastened and pressed on by the king's commandment. And the decree was given at Shushan the palace.
[
15] And Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a garment of fine linen and purple: and the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad.
[
16] The Jews had light, and gladness, and joy, and honour.
[
17] And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.

I will explain how to keep the Sabbath

This is how simple it is:

Question: So why are we here today?

Answer: We were told to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy.

Sabbath is the “4th Commandment” 0f the 10 Commandments

Today is the rest of the holy Sabbath unto Yehovah

I will explain the Sabbath day from Scripture, the 7th day.

The Sabbath is not a service for an hour and a half, but a 24 hour period on the seventh day.

 Not any day you pick.

--------------

Gen.2 [1] Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

[2] And on the seventh day God ended his work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.

[3] And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made.

-------------

Lev. 23 [32] … from even (sunset) unto even (sunset), shall ye celebrate your Sabbath.

The Sabbath is the 4th Commandment of the covenant given to us at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month, Sivan

The 10 commandments are in Exod. 20 and Deut. 5 - if you just know this, you will know more than most ministers.

זכר Remember

zâkar - zaw-kar' - A primitive root; properly to mark (so as to be recognized), that is, to remember; by implication to mention; make mention of, be mindful, recount, record (-er), remember, make to be remembered, bring (call, come, keep, put) to (in) remembrance, be still, think on, well.

Ex. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yehovah thy God:

in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.

--------

Isa. 58 [13] If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of Yehovah, honorable; and shalt honor him,

1 - not doing thine (your) own ways

2 - nor finding thine (your) own pleasure

3 - nor speaking thine (your) own words:

[14] Then shalt thou delight thyself in Yehovah; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of Yehovah hath spoken it.

------------

Lev. 23 [3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an "holy convocation"; ye shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.

Dwelling:מושׁב  môshâv - seat, assembly, dwelling-place, dwelling, your situation, location, (at) time of dwelling.

All Sabbaths are "holy convocations, a miqra kodesh"

Lev.23

[1] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, concerning the feasts of Yehovah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are My feasts.

מקרא miqra: convocation, convoking, reading, a calling  together, sacred assembly, something called out, that is, a public meeting (the act, the persons, or the place); also a rehearsal

קדשׁ kodesh: a sacred place or thing; consecrated, dedicated, hallowed, holiness, saint, sanctuary, apartness, sacredness, separateness, apartness, sacredness, holiness: All to the God of Israel.

------------

Buying and selling is evil on the Sabbath.

Neh. 13 [16] There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the sabbath unto the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem.

[17] Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, what evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the Sabbath day?
