Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s,

October 10th, 2015

October -- the eighth month, now the 10th month, on well….

Middle English octobre
Latin October
Latin octo "eight" + -ber (adj. suffix)
Latin october mensis "eighth month"

October has always had 31 days.

---------------------------------------------------

Yehovah has His own calendar

We are now in the 7th month called ha Ethanim, 25th day

הָ אֵ תָ נִים

Our Elohim, the alef and tav, first and last (forever)

Our Elohim = “enduring” - the permanent brooks, the Living Waters

Not counting the definite article ha הָ, the next 2 letters, from the right are alef and tav. They are the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet.

The alef and tav, first and last (forever) 660 or 12 or 3

הָ - Ha - Thedefinite article

אֵ  - Aleph - First letter in Hebrew Aleph-bet

תָ - Tav - Last letter in Hebrew Aleph-bet

נִים  - eythn meaning perpetual, constant, perennial, ever flowing streams

The First and Last Forever (living waters)

New Moon watch - 8th month called Bul (pronounced Bool, "rain")

 Seems like Oct. 15, 2015 - Thursday

1 Kgs.6 [38] And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it.

Today’s topic:

False holidays abound now

Now that the holy days and Feasts of God are ended, the pagan holidays will start soon.

Beware of the "false image" of love

Beware of "false feelings and emotions"

These pagan feasts bring on loneliness, depression, suicide and oh yes, debt.

------------------------------

Not many people knew about the Feast of Tabernacles

All I see is October fest with tents, yard sales etc…

Again, as of 2015, I see many people that still did not "look up" the following "pagan" holidays to avoid them.

Scripture says:

Jer. 16 [19] Yehovah, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

Jer.10

[1] Hear ye the word which Yehovah speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
[2] Thus saith
Yehovah, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

[3] For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
[4] They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
[5] They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go.

Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

Isa. 5 [20] Woe unto them that call

evil good,

and good evil;

that put darkness for light,

and light for darkness;

that put bitter for sweet,

and sweet for bitter!

[21] Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

[22] Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:

[23] Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from
him

Agree to disagree on made up feasts?

 NO!

Once upon a time, Halloween was banned

Halloween was not celebrated in this country until 1845

Stores are set up with their pagan decorations already – 2015

157 Million Americans Will Celebrate Halloween This Year

----------------------

Pertaining to Christmas – X mas

Once upon a time, Christmas was banned in 1659 in America

-----------------------

Below is just a short review of the pagan festival of Halloween. Isn’t it amazing people will get mad at us, that we do not want to participate in this pagan holiday.

1Pet.4

[1] Forasmuch then as Messiah hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
[2] That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
[3] For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine,
revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
[4] Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
[5] Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.

------------

Let’s read:

Halloween was and is a popular pagan festival of the dead (sow –win - Samhain). The ancient Celts celebrated the New Year on November 1. They believed that the souls of the dead returned to Earth the night before.

Samhain is Gaelic for “summer’s end,” a day to bid good-bye to warmth and light as day length shortens.

In an attempt to replace this festival, the Catholic Church moved the celebration of All Saints to November 1. This is the day when all of the saints are honored, especially those who did not have a day of their own.

This day was formerly known as Allhallowmas, hallow meaning "holy" or "holy person." All Saints Day is known in England as All Hallows Day.

The evening before, October 31, is known as All Hallows Eve, the origin of the American word Halloween!

In later years, the Irish used hollowed-out, candlelit turnips carved with a demon’s face to frighten away the spirits. When Irish immigrants in the 1840s found few turnips in the United States, they used the more plentiful pumpkins instead, sad to say.

Often overshadowed by the two days preceding it, Halloween (October 31) and All Saints Day (November 1),

(November 2), All Souls Day is a solemn feast in the Roman Catholic Church commemorating all of those who have died and now are in Purgatory, being cleansed of their venial sins and the temporal punishments for the mortal sins that they had confessed and atoning before entering fully into Heaven.

History of All Souls Day:

The importance of All Souls Day was made clear by Pope Benedict XV (1914-22), when he granted all priests the privilege of celebrating three Masses on All Souls Day: one, for the faithful departed; one for the priest's intentions; and one for the intentions of the Holy Father. Only on a handful of other very important feast days are priests allowed to celebrate more than two Masses.

How’s that for pagan doctrine? Beware!

National Retail Federation on Halloween

WASHINGTON, September 23, 2015 – Ready to embrace cooler weather, fall traditions and spirited celebrations, more than 157 million Americans plan to celebrate Halloween this year, according to the National Retail Federation’s Halloween Consumer Spending Survey conducted by Prosper Insights & Analytics. The average person celebrating will spend $74.34, compared with $77.52 last year. Total spending on Halloween is expected to reach $6.9 billion

“After a long summer, consumers are eager to embrace fall and all of the celebrations that come with it,” NRF president and CEO Matthew Shay said. “We expect those celebrating Halloween this year will look for several different activities to do with their family and friends. Consumers are ready to take advantage of promotions on candy, decorations and costumes, and retailers are ready to serve them.”

Consumers celebrating Halloween plan to spend an average of $27.33 on costumes for the whole family, and a total of $2.5 billion on store-bought, homemade, large and small costumes. Those celebrating will spend the most on adult costumes ($1.2 billion), and will spend a total of $950 million on children’s costumes and $350 million on fashionable and fun costumes for their furry friends. It’s estimated that 68 million Americans will dress up this Halloween and another 20 million pet owners will dress up their pet.

Nine in 10 (93.7%) Halloween shoppers will buy candy, spending a total of $2.1 billion, and an additional 33.5 percent will buy greeting cards, spending a total of $330 million. Two in five celebrants (44.8%) plan to decorate their home or yard, meaning there’s no question consumers will see their fair share of pumpkins, hay bales and even life-size Minions and black cats strewn across their neighborhoods. The average person planning to buy decorations will spend $20.34 with total spending expected to reach $1.9 billion.

It is clear to see that HALLOWEEN HAS ALWAYS BEEN A PAGAN CELEBRATION OF DEATH.

See a lot of tombstone decorations where you live? Death abounds, beware!

Tis the season to be pagan” is coming, and already around us!

I am reminded always to inform you to beware of the false image of love, false emotions, loneliness, depression, financial drain, suicide and the artificial false festival lights they put up.

Satan really sets the stage for you.

Beware if you feel or hear a voice telling you to separate yourself for the congregation, go off on your own and read or whatever.

Some Pagan religions are having classes at their facilities to address these (false) issues.

Then there is the everlasting battle between the two worldviews, Creation and Evolution.

Here is an interesting article I read

Eugenics: Eliminating Human Weeds

By Russ Miller

Matthew 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

According to the Lord Yeshua, we are to discern good from bad by the fruit produced.

While I often expose the evil fruit of Darwinism, which is a fruit of old-earth beliefs, in this writing I want to discuss two of the tainted fruits growing from the corrupt combination of millions of years leading to Darwinism: abortion and eugenics.

Sir Francis Galton is known as the Father of Eugenics.

The word comes from a combination of Greek words which mean well-born and is defined as the study to improve the physical and mental characteristics of the human race. So who would argue with that?!

Well, hold on for a moment because, though eugenics may sound delightful on the surface, history reveals its fruit includes the pre-mature death of millions of people in order to eliminate the unworthy.

Abortion is one of the primary tools for eugenicists and, so you are aware, Sir Francis Galton was Charles Darwin’s cousin.

Margaret Sanger founded Planned Parenthood in 1916 to eliminate what she called “human weeds” such as the disabled and “inferior races like Jews and Blacks.”

Today, Planned Parenthood rakes in millions of dollars via the abortion industry and, though blacks make up just 14% of the U.S. population, they total 36% of U.S. abortions. Sanger also stated, “I look forward to seeing humanity free…of the tyranny of Christianity.”

Why Christianity? Because the Biblical Worldview holds that human life, from conception, is made in the image of God.

Such a view often gets in the way of those who desire to “improve the human race.

The Nazis put eugenics into practice and two of their specific targets for elimination were Jews and the disabled.

The Scientific Origins of National Socialism, written in 1971, stated: “Social Darwinism reached its peak in Nazi Germany under Hitler…the supreme evolutionist and Nazism the ultimate fruit of the evolutionary tree.”

However, the article was written before we legalized abortion in America.

Following World War II eugenics became a dirty word, The Annals of Eugenics changed its name to the Annals of Human Genetics while Eugenics Quarterly became the Journal of Social Biology.

Sadly, many people today believe certain humans are less worthy of life and eugenics is back in vogue in laboratories and on college campuses around the world.

Often cloaked in terms of medical breakthroughs that promise to improve the human race, eugenics has been put into practice once again.

For instance, BreakPoint reported that an ABC News article was touting a prenatal test which detects Downs Syndrome, claiming the procedure would reduce the death of healthy babies.

However, as Chuck Colson pointed out, since most women abort babies who have known disabilities, the test will actually increase the number of deaths by abortion.

To employ prenatal testing and abortion to eliminate babies who are deemed by the Secular worldview as human weeds who are less worthy of life is simply eugenics in action.

The Biblical Worldview holds that every human life is precious and made in the image of God. This view protects each of us from being deemed to be a human weed.

---------------

In closing:

Simply put, the evil and the insane run amuck

Beware of the "false image" of love

Beware of "false feelings and emotions"

These pagan feasts bring on loneliness, depression, suicide and oh yes, debt.

Shabbat Shalom – be safe
