Shabbat Shalom

שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם

Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s

Today is September 29, 2018 - in the 21 Century

One day left to this month September

September -- the seventh month – (now the 9th    month)

Middle English septembre
Latin September
Latin
septem "seven" + -ber (adj. suffix)
Latin
september mensis "seventh month"

September had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 30 days long.

Yehovah has His own calendar:

We are now in the 7th month called ha Ethanim, 18th day

Here is one simple verse below to prove it is the 7th month not New Year, Rosh Hashanah, 5779, and it is called ha Ethanim not Tishrei, which is not found in the Hebrew Bible.

1 Kgs.8 [2] And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.

This verse proves: It is not New Year nor head of the year, Rosh ha Shannah nor when the world was created nor Adam’s birthday.

All made up in Judaism.

Exod.23 [16] … and the feast of ingathering, which is in (at, going to) the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.

Feast of Tabernacles 4th day

The 7th Month

Ha Ethanim – day 18

Gen.8

[1] And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;
[2] The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;
[3] And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.

[4] And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.Yesterday

The waters decreased continually all through the Feast of Tabernacles

[5] And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.
[6] And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:
[7] And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
[8] Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;
[9] But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.
[10] And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;
[11] And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
[12] And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.

[13] And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.

[14] And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.

[15] And God spake unto Noah, saying,
[16] Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee.
[17] Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.

[18] And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him:
[19] Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.

[20] And Noah builded an altar unto Yehovah; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

[21] And Yehovah smelled a sweet savour; and Yehovah said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

[22] While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

The 7th Month

Gen.8 [4] And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.

Lev.16 [29] A Day of Atonement -  And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:

A Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets

Lev.23 [24] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.

The tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement

[27] Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah.

“The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles”

[34] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto Yehovah.

[39] Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto Yehovah seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.

[40] And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before Yehovah your God seven days.
[
41] And ye shall keep it a feast unto Yehovah seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
[
42] Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:
[
43] That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am Yehovah your God.
[
44] And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of Yehovah.

Num.29

[1] And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.

Just counting the “7” days of the feast

Total 70 bullocks

Total 98 lambs of the first year without blemish

Total 14 rams

Total = 70 + 98 + 14 = 182 (all these numbers are divisible by 7)

Total goats for a sin offering "7"

Also in verses:

[14] And their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals unto every bullock of the thirteen bullocks, two tenth deals to each ram of the two rams,

[15] And a several tenth deal to each lamb of the fourteen lambs:

[16] And one kid of the goats for a sin offering;

three tenth deals times 70 bullocks = 210/10

two tenth deals times 98 rams = 196/10

several tenth deal ( 1/10 ) times 14 lambs = 14/10

Just add 210 + 196 + 14 = 420/10 or 42 (which is divisible by 7)

This is beside the continual burnt offering, and the meat offering thereof, and their drink offerings. (Which is all divisible by 7)

Feast of Tabernacles

1Kgs.8 [2] And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.

Feast of Tabernacles

2Chr.5 [3] Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king in the feast which was in the seventh month.

Ezra.3 [1] And when the seventh month was come, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered themselves together as one man to Jerusalem.

[6] From the first day of the seventh month began they to offer burnt offerings unto Yehovah. But the foundation of the temple of Yehovah was not yet laid.

Neh.7 [73] So the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel were in their cities.

Feast of Tabernacles

Ezek.45 [25] In the seventh month, in the fifteenth day of the month, shall he do the like in the feast of the seven days, according to the sin offering, according to the burnt offering, and according to the meat offering, and according to the oil.

Feast of Tabernacles

Neh.8

[1] And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that was before the water gate; and they spake unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which Yehovah had commanded to Israel.
[
2] And Ezra the priest brought the law before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month.
[
3] And he read therein before the street that was before the water gate from the morning until midday, before the men and the women, and those that could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive unto the book of the law.
[
4] And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.
[
5] And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people; (for he was above all the people;) and when he opened it, all the people stood up:
[
6] And Ezra blessed Yehovah, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped Yehovah with their faces to the ground.
[
7] Also Jeshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the law: and the people stood in their place.

[8] So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.

[9] And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto Yehovah your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.

[10] Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of Yehovah is your strength.

[11] So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, Hold your peace, for the day is holy; neither be ye grieved.

[12] And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared unto them.

[13] And on the second day were gathered together the chief of the fathers of all the people, the priests, and the Levites, unto Ezra the scribe, even to understand the words of the law.

[14] And they found written in the law which Yehovah had commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths in the feast of the seventh month:
[
15] And that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, Go forth unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it is written.

[16] So the people went forth, and brought them, and made themselves booths, every one upon the roof of his house, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of God, and in the street of the water gate, and in the street of the gate of Ephraim.

[17] And all the congregation of them that were come again out of the captivity made booths, and sat under the booths: for since the days of Jeshua the son of Nun unto that day had not the children of Israel done so. And there was very great gladness.

[18] Also day by day, from the first day unto the last day, he read in the book of the law of God.

And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according unto the manner.

[1] And Yehovah spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying,
[
2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto Yehovah.
[
3] Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;
[4] But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for Yehovah: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
[5] That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.
[
6] And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee,
[
7] And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.

[8] And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.

[9] Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

[10] And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

[11] A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.

[12] For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.

[13] In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession.

דְּרוֹר

Isa.61

[1] The Spirit of the Lord Yehovah is upon Me; because Yehovah hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
[2] To
proclaim the acceptable year of Yehovah, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
[3] To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Yehovah, that he might be glorified.

Luke.4 [14] And Yeshua returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
[
15] And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.
[
16] And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
[17] And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias / Isaiah. 61

And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

[18] The Spirit of the Lord Yehovah is upon me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

[19] To preach the acceptable year of Yehovah.

[20] And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

[21] And He, Yeshua began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
[22] And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth.

Liberty

2Cor.3 [17] Now Yehovah is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of Yehovah is, there is liberty.

Gal.5 [1] Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Messiah hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Jas.1 [25] … whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Jas.2 [12] So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. [13] For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

Hag.2   - ha Ethanim

[1] In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of Yehovah by the prophet Haggai, saying,
[
2] Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,
[
3] Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?
[
4] Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith Yehovah; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith Yehovah, and work: for I am with you, saith Yehovah of hosts:
[
5] According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.
[
6] For thus saith Yehovah of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
[
7] And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith Yehovah of hosts.

[
8] The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith Yehovah of hosts.

[9] The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith Yehovah of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith Yehovah of hosts.

Feast of Tabernacles

John 7

[1] After these things Yeshua walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.
[2] Now the Jews' feast of tabernacles was at hand.

[8] Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come.

[9] When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee.
[10] But when his brethren were gone up, then went
he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.

[11] Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?
[12] And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.
[13] Howbeit no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews.

[14] Now about the midst of the feast Yeshua went up into the temple, and taught.
[16] Yeshua answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
[17] If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
[18] He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

[19] Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?

[20] The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee?
[21] Yeshua answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.
[22] Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man.
[23] If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?

[24] Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

[25] Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?
[26] But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Messiah?
[27] Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Messiah cometh, no man knoweth whence he is.

[28] Then cried Yeshua in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.

[29] But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.

[30] Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.
[31] And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Messiah cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done?
[32] The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him.
[33] Then said Yeshua unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.
[34] Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come.

[35] Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?
[36] What manner of saying is this that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come?

[37]
In the last day, (8th day) that great day of the feast, Yeshua stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
[38] He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
[39] (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Yeshua was not yet glorified.)

There was a division among the people because of Him.

Let nothing steal your eternal life

Always spiritually look at the bigger picture

Remember; be aware of false teachers that copy each other such as: Judaism, Messianics that follow Judaism, Messianics that follow Karaites, Protestant Gentile teachers that follow Messianics that follow Karaites or Judaism

Let nothing or no one separate you from the Living God of Israel

Follow Yeshua the Messiah

Last verses:

Deut.13 [6] If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul,

entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
[7] Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;

[8] Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:

[9] But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.

[10] And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die;

because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the Yehovah thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

[11] And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.

No unclean animals: dog, cat, pig etc, in your home

Lev. 11[27] And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you:

whoso toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even.

Deut.23 [14] For the Yehovah thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.

2Cor.5 [7] For we walk by faith, not by sight…

Knowing therefore the terror of the Yehovah, we try to persuade all mankind to repent and make a true covenant with the Living God of Israel

Jude [17] But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah;

[18] How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

[19] These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

Rom.8 [35] Who (or what) shall separate us from the love of Messiah?

shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

[36] As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the daylong; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

[37] Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Messiah Yeshua our Lord.

Except yourselves, your false doctrines, your animals etc…
