Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the
1500’s,
July 11, 2015
July -- Julius Caesar's month
Middle English
Julie
Latin Julius "Julius"
Latin Julius mensis "month of Julius"
Latin quintilis mensis "fifth
month"
Quintilis (and later
Julius) has always had 31 days.
Julius Caesar reformed the Roman calendar (hence the Julian calendar)
in 46 BC. In the process, he renamed this month after
himself.
-----------------
We acknowledge God’s calendar
We are now in:
The 4th
month of God, day 23 - The 4th month has no scriptural name.
Judaism calls the 4th month Tammuz - not in
scripture
Only verse:
Ezek.8 [14] Then he brought me to the door of the gate of Yehovah's house which was toward the north; and,
behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz - (pagan deity) תַּמּוּז a Sumerian deity of food or vegetation, a
Phoenician deity

Question: Why are we here today?
Answer: We were told to
remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy
The 4th Commandment
is a part of the covenant given to us at mount
Sinai in the 3rd month Sivan
The 4th commandment of the 10 Commandments is the Sabbath
Exod. 20 [8] Remember the sabbath day, to keep
it holy.
[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
[10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God:
in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy
manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all
that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed
it.
--------------
--------------
Deut. 5 [12] Keep the sabbath
day to sanctify it, as Yehovah thy God hath commanded thee.
[13] Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:
[14] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God:
in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy
manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy
cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy
maidservant may rest as well as thou.
[15] And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that
Yehovah thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a
stretched out arm: therefore Yehovah thy God
commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
---------
Breaking
the 4th commandment, the Sabbath is sin
No sin will enter the kingdom of God
---------------------------------
A short note:
Next week, Friday night starts the
New Moon again, the 5th month – no name in scripture
Judaism calls it Av. Not scriptural.
---------------------------------------
Today’s
Topic:
Gods
(judges), Kings and Priests, a Holy Nation
[1] In the third month,
when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same
day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.
[2] For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to
the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped
before the mount.
[3] And Moses went up unto God, and Yehovah called unto him out of the
mountain, saying,
Thus shalt thou say to
the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;
[4] Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles'
wings, and brought you unto myself.
[5] Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant,
then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all
people: for all the earth is mine:
[6] And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and
an holy nation.
These are the words
which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
---------------
[1] The
Revelation of Yeshua the Messiah, which God gave unto him, to shew
unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and
signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
[2] Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Yeshua
the Messiah, and of all things that he saw.
[3] Blessed is he that readeth,
and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are
written therein: for the time is at hand.
[4] John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and
peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the
seven Spirits which are before his throne;
[5] And from Yeshua the Messiah, who is the faithful witness, and the
first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him
that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
[6] And hath
made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and
dominion for
ever and ever. Amen.
[1] And I saw in
the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the
backside, sealed with seven seals.
[2] And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who
is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
[3] And no man in heaven, nor in earth,
neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
[4] And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read
the book, neither to look thereon.
[5] And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of
the tribe of Juda,
the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals
thereof.
[6] And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four
beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain,
having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God
sent forth into all the earth.
[7] And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat
upon the throne.
[8] And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty
elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden
vials full of odours,
which are the prayers of saints.
[9] And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book,
and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast
redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people,
and nation;
[10] And hast made us unto our God kings and
priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

What are the duties of a judge?
You are gods, judges with God's Word
to judge righteously!!!
Pss. 82: [1] God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; אל He judgeth among the gods. אֱלֹהִים (judges)
אל el
As adjective
mighty; especially the Almighty (but used also of any deity): - God (god),
goodly, great, idol, might (-y one), power, strong. Compare names in
"el".
Part of
Speech:
noun masculine, 1) god, god-like one, mighty one, 1a) mighty men, men of rank,
mighty heroes, 1b) angels, 1c) god, false god, (demons, imaginations) 1d) God,
the one true God, Jehovah, 2) mighty things in nature, 3) strength, power
[2] How long will ye judge unjustly, and
accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
[3] Defend
the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
[4] Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
[5]
They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the
foundations of the earth are out of course.
[6] I have
said, Ye are gods;
and all of you are children of the most High.
אֱלֹהִים אַתֶּם
[7] But ye shall die like men, and fall like
one of the princes.
[8]
Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
---------------------
John 7 [24]
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge
righteous judgment.
John
10:[30] I and my Father are
one.
[31] Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
[32] Yeshua answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father;
for which of those works do ye stone me?
[33] The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we
stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest
thyself God.
[34]
Yeshua answered them, Is it not written in
your law, I said, Ye are gods?
--------------------
These are the judgments - read Exod.
21, 22, 23 and Lev. 20
Exod. 21 [1]
Now these are the judgments which thou
shalt set before them.
[2] If
thou buy an
Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out
free for nothing.
[3] If he came in by himself, he shall go out by himself: if he were
married, then his wife shall go out with him.
[4] If his master have given him a wife, and she
have born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her
master's, and he shall go out by himself.
[5] And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and
my children; I will not go out free:
[6] Then
his master shall bring him unto the הָאֱלֹהִים judges; he shall also bring
him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear
through with an
aul;
and he shall serve him for
ever.
-----------------
Exod. 22 [8]
If the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall be brought unto the judges, הָאֱלֹהִים to see whether he have put his hand unto
his neighbour's
goods. [9] For all manner of trespass, whether it be for ox, for ass,
for sheep, for raiment, or for any manner of lost thing, which another challengeth
to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before the judges; הָאֱלֹהִים and whom the judges אֱלֹהִים shall condemn, he shall pay double unto
his neighbour.
-------------------------------
John 5 [30]
I can of
mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just;
because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
John 12 [47]
And
if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came
not to judge the world, but to save the world. [48] He that rejecteth
me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the
last day.
John 5 [22]
For
the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
[23] That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour
the Father. He that honoureth
not the Son honoureth
not the Father which hath sent him.
1 Cor.6 [3] Know ye not that we
shall judge angels? [4] If then ye have
judgments of things pertaining to this life, set
them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
----------------------
Lev. 19 [15]
Ye
shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the
poor, nor honour
the person of the mighty: but in righteousness
shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
[16] Thou shalt not go up and down as a
talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour:
I am Yehovah.
[17]
Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart:
thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

Mediator - a person who
mediates, especially between
parties at
variance
----------------
You
should be able to examine any congregation or church and make a righteous
judgment call whether there are a few people or a large group if they are
scriptural.
-----------
Paul, in his
letter to the Galatians can determine and decide who will or will not inherit
the kingdom of God. Can You?
Gal.5 [19] Now the works of the
flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness,
lasciviousness [20] Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations,
wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, [21]
Envyings,
murders, drunkenness, revellings,
and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I
have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not
inherit the kingdom of God.
