עֲדַת יִשְׂרָאֵל

 All welcome

 Shabbat Shalom

 שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם

Let’s pray

Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s

Today is September 20, 2014

September -- the seventh month, now the 9th month, go figure…

Middle English septembre
Latin September
Latin
septem "seven" + -ber (adj. suffix)
Latin
september mensis "seventh month"

September had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 30 days long.

 -----------------

God has His own calendar

We are now in the “sixth month” of God of Israel called Elul, 24th day

These 2 verses below indicated to us Elul must be the 6th month

Neh. 6 [15] So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul,

אֱלוּל  in fifty and two days.

Neh. 7 [73] So the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel were in their cities.

Review of the Holydays and Feast

We do these feasts and holydays in memorial the best we understand

2014 dates

The 7th month, ha Ethanim

4 times we will have 2 Sabbaths in a row

A memorial of blowing of trumpets, a Sabbath, Sept. 26

The Day of Atonement- Sunday Oct. 5 - a Sabbath

Feast of Tabernacles - Oct. 10 through 17 - the 10 and 17 are both Sabbaths

Just “7 days” away

 -----------

As we approach the Holydays and Feast of the God of Israel, let us now try to emulate the Personality and Attributes of God.

Emulate = to try to equal or excel; imitate with effort to equal or surpass

-----------------

Today's Topic

Let’s talk about the soon coming 7th month, ha Ethanim

And

A different look at the numbers 12, 7 and 3

---------------------------

הָ אֵ תָ נִים

The alef and tav, first and last (forever)

Ha Ethanim means “enduring” - the permanent brooks

הָאֵתָנִים   ha Ethanim - Always with the article ha, the - permanent brooks;

Ha Ethanim = enduring - seventh month, corresponding to the end of Sept/ then Oct.

So named because permanent streams still flowed

הָאֵתָנִים   ha Ethanim  is the plural of eythan below:

איתן eythan - perpetual, constant, perennial, ever-flowing, ever-flowing (of a stream), permanence, permanent, enduring (figuratively)

Sad, most people have never heard of ha Ethanim from scripture, they are brainwashed by Judaism to say Tishri which is nowhere in scripture.

Sad we are also brainwashed by Pope Gregory to say September

Tishri and the made up Rosh Hashanah (New Years) are from the pagan Babylonian influence that came upon the Jews at that time.

The adoption of some of the Babylonian month names come from the Talmud, Rosh Hashanah.

Remember: it can’t be the New Year because it is a feast in the “7th” month at the “end” of the year!

The Feast of ingathering (Tabernacles) at the end of the year

Exod. 23 [16] And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering (Tabernacles) , which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.

-------------------

A different look at the numbers 12, 7 and 3

Ha Ethanim, the 7th month

Memorial of the Blowing of Trumpets - New Moon

Day of Atonement - the jubile

Feast of Tabernacles

Lev.23 [36] Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.

הָ אֵ תָ נִים

The above in red, alef and tav, are the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet, first and last forever

Now let’s look at the numerical value:  660 or 12 or 3

---------

Here is the verse for ha Ethanim:

1 Kgs.8 [2] And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month ha Ethanim, which is the seventh month.

בְּיֶרַח הָאֵתָנִים, בֶּחָג--הוּא, הַחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי

Messiah is the Living waters:

מַיִם חַיִּים

Jer.2 [13] For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

Jer.17 [13] O Yehovah, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken Yehovah, the fountain of living waters.

Rev.21 [1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. [2] And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. [3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.[4] And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.[5] And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

[6] And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

[7] He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Isa.12 [1] And in that day thou shalt say, O Yehovah, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

[2] Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the YAH JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. [3] Therefore with joy shall ye draw wate מַיִם out of the wells of salvation.

Yeshua = salvation

 יָהּ יְהוָה  Yah Yehovah

-------------------------

Rev.7 [17] For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Isa.33 [21] But there the glorious Yehovah will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.[22 ] For Yehovah is our judge, Yehovah is our lawgiver, Yehovah is our king; he will save us .
