Before we start:
I explain the Sabbath, the 7th day, each week
This is how simple it is:
Exod. 20
[8] Remember the
Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
[10] But the seventh day
is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God:
in it thou
shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy
daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger
that is within thy gates:
[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the
sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
------------
Same in Deut. 5
[12] Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as Yehovah thy God hath commanded thee.
[13] Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:
[14] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy
daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle,
nor thy stranger that is within thy gates;
that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.
[15] And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that Yehovah thy God brought thee out
thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore Yehovah thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
------------
Lev. 23 [3] Six days shall work be done:
but
the seventh day is the
Sabbath of rest, an “holy convocation”;
ye shall do no work therein:
it is the Sabbath of Yehovah in
all your dwellings.
--------
Isa. 58 [13] If thou turn away thy foot
from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of Yehovah, honourable; and shalt honour him,
1 - not doing thine own ways,
2 - nor finding thine own pleasure,
3 - nor speaking thine own words:
[14] Then shalt thou delight thyself in Yehovah; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places
of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of Yehovah hath spoken it.
------------------------
Buying and selling is evil on the Sabbath
Neh. 13 [16] There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner
of ware, and sold on the Sabbath unto the
children of Judah, and in Jerusalem.
[17] Then I contended with the nobles of
Judah, and said unto them, what evil thing is this
that ye do, and profane the Sabbath day?
-----------------
The first day is mentioned only 2 times when they
met for a certain event in Acts and the letter to the Corinthians
It never says the 1st
day replaced the 7th day as Sabbath
It never says the 1st
day is a Commandment or a rest
Acts 20:7 And upon the first day
of the week,
when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready
to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
1Corinthians 16:2 Upon the first day of the week
let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath
prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

We read from law and the
prophets every Sabbath like they did in the Book of Acts.

It is a sign
Num.29[12] And on the fifteenth day of the seventh
month ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work, and ye
shall keep a feast unto Yehovah seven days:
[17] And on the second day ye shall offer twelve young bullocks,
two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without spot:
[20] And on the third day eleven bullocks, two rams, fourteen
lambs of the first year without blemish;
[23] And on the fourth day ten bullocks, two rams, and fourteen
lambs of the first year without blemish:
[26] And on the fifth day nine bullocks, two rams, and fourteen
lambs of the first year without spot:
[29] And on the sixth day eight bullocks, two rams, and fourteen
lambs of the first year without blemish:
[32] And on the seventh day seven bullocks, two rams, and fourteen
lambs of the first year without blemish:
[35] On
the eighth day ye shall have a solemn assembly: ye shall do no servile
work therein:
--------------------------------
total 70 bullocks
-------------------
total = 70 + 98 + 14 = 182 ( all these
numbers are divisible by 7 )
[14]
And their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals
unto every bullock of the thirteen bullocks, two tenth deals to each ram of the
two rams,
[15]
And a several tenth deal to each lamb of the fourteen lambs:
[16]
And one kid of the goats for a sin offering;
three tenth deals times 70 bullocks =
210/10
two tenth deals times 98 rams =
196/10
several tenth deal ( 1/10 ) times 14
lambs = 14/10
add 210 + 196 + 14 = 420/10 or 42
(which is divisible by 7, sabbath)
and 42 = 6 (creation)
beside the continual burnt
offering, and the meat offering thereof, and their drink offerings. (which is all divisible by 7)
If all is divisible by 7
Let’s read John 7
The word “feast” is 7 times in this
chapter 7
Yeshua observed
the feast of Tabernacles
John 7 [1] After these things Yeshua walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry,
because the Jews sought to kill him.
[2] Now the Jews' feast of tabernacles was at hand.
[3] His brethren therefore
said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may
see the works that thou doest.
[4] For there is no man that doeth any thing
in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly.
If thou do these things, shew
thyself to the world.
[5] For neither did his brethren believe in him.
[6] Then Yeshua
said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time
is alway ready.
[7] The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth,
because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
[8] Go ye up unto this
feast: I go not up yet unto this
feast; for my time is not yet full come.
[9] When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee.
[10] But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.
[11] Then the Jews sought him
at the feast, and said, Where is he?
[12] And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for
some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.
[13] Howbeit no man spake openly of him for
fear of the Jews.
[14] Now about the midst of the feast Yeshua went up
into the temple, and taught.
[15] And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth
this man letters, having never learned?
[16] Yeshua answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
[17] If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether
it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
[18] He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh
his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
[19] Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about
to kill me?
[20] The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth
about to kill thee?
[21] Yeshua
answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.
[22] Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of
Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man.
[23] If a man on the sabbath
day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye
angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?
[24] Judge not according to the appearance, but
judge righteous judgment.
[25] Then said some of them
of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?
[26] But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say
nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Messiah?
[27] Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Messiah cometh, no
man knoweth whence he is.
[28] Then cried Yeshua in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come
of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.
[29] But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.
[30] Then they sought to take
him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.
[31] And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Messiah cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man
hath done?
[32] The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning
him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him.
[33] Then said Yeshua unto them, Yet a little
while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.
[34] Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye
cannot come.
[35] Then said the Jews among
themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find
him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles,
and teach the Gentiles?
[36] What manner of saying is this that he said,
Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come?
[37] In the
last day, that great day of the feast,
Yeshua stood and cried, saying, If
any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
[38] He that believeth on me,
as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
[39] (But this spake he of the Spirit, which
they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given;
because that Yeshua was not yet glorified.)
[40] Many of the people
therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a
truth this is the Prophet.
[41] Others said, This is the Messiah. But some
said, Shall Messiah come out of Galilee?
[42] Hath not the scripture said, That Messiah
cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?
[43] So there was a division among the people because of him.
[44] And some of them would
have taken him; but no man laid hands on him.
[45] Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they
said unto them, Why have ye not brought him?
[46] The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.
[47] Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived?
[48] Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him?
[49] But this people who knoweth not the law
are cursed.
[50] Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Yeshua
by night, being one of them,)
[51] Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth?
[52] They answered and said
unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look:
for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.
[53] And every man went unto his own house.
Make a stand!
