Let’s pray
--------------------------------------------
Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from
the 1500’s
Today is December 16, 2017 - in the 21 Century
December - the tenth month - now it is the 12th month
Middle English decembre
Old French decembre
Latin december "tenth month"
Latin decem "ten" + -ber (adj. suffix)
December had 30
days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 31 days long.
-----------------
We acknowledge God’s calendar
We are now in the ninth month of God called Chislevכִסְלֵו - 26th day
Zech.7 [1] And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the
word of Yehovah came
unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month,
even in Chisleu - Chislev

New moon report - Tuesday evening, Dec. 20th 2017 (all
day Wednesday)
Starts the 10th month of God – Teveth
Esth.2 [16] So Esther was taken
unto king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, טֵבֵת in the seventh year of his reign.

I will explain the Sabbath again
quickly, if needed.
The Sabbath is not "a
service" for an hour and a half, but the Sabbath is a "whole 24 hr. day" to the
God of Israel, the 4th Commandment.
The Sabbath is not every day
Scriptures
says: Exod.20 [10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God:
in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy
manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is
within thy gates:
[11] For
in six days Yehovah made
heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
The word Sabbath is "60 times" in the
Gospels and letters
Question: S0 why are we
here today?
Answer: We were told to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy
The Sabbath is the 4th Commandment and
part of the “covenant” given to us at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month,
Sivan
Ex. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it
holy.
[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yehovah thy God: in it thou shalt not do any
work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant,
nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy
gates:
[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested
the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.
--------
Lev. 23 [1] And Yehovah spake unto Moses,
saying,[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,
Concerning the feasts of Yehovah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy
convocations, even these are my feasts.
[3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall
do no work therein: it is the sabbath of Yehovah in all
your dwellings.
Within
your gates - in all your dwellings
Unto this day, some people are still
breaking the 4th commandment each week by not keeping the Sabbath as
it is described above.
I shall
again define a few words for you:
Remember
זכר zâkar - zaw-kar' - A primitive root;

remember; by implication to mention; make mention of, be
mindful, recount, record (-er), remember, make to be remembered, bring (call, come,

----------
Holy Convocation

act, the persons, or the place); also a rehearsal
קדשׁ kodesh: a sacred place or thing; consecrated, dedicated,
hallowed, holiness, saint, sanctuary, apartness, sacredness, separateness,
apartness, sacredness, holiness
----------
No Servile work - melakat avodah מְלֶאכֶת
עֲבֹדָה
עֲבֹדָה avodah - work of any
kind: act, bondservant, labor, service, tillage, work
מְלֶאכֶת melakat – occupation
------------
Dwelling

situation, location, (at) time of dwelling
------------------------------
Today Topic:
Make sure what you are
seeing is true, accurate, correct
Always remember:
Embellished made-up stories are still lies!
Sad to say, I know most of the world is getting
ready to do the made up holidays Chanukah and Christmas now.
I get so many emails about these
holidays to buy, buy, and
buy.
Another year goes by and a new
generation of the youth is deceived.

“Tis the season to be pagan” is all around us!
Some Holidays and
Traditions around the December solstice
Old solstice traditions
have influenced holidays we celebrate now, such as Christmas
and Chanukah.
The Winter Solstice is Thursday, December 21, 2017
at 10:28am CDT in the Northern Hemisphere and June
20 or 21 in the Southern.
St. Lucia’s Day
- St. Lucia’s Day is a festival of lights celebrated in
Scandinavia around the time of the winter solstice. Although it is now meant to
honor St. Lucia, a Christian martyr, it has been incorporated with earlier
Norse solstice traditions, such as lighting fires to ward off spirits during
the longest night. Girls dress up in white gowns with red sashes and wear wreaths
of candles on their heads in honor of St. Lucia.
Dong
Zhi
- The Chinese celebration of the winter
solstice, Dong Zhi (which means “Winter Arrives”)
welcomes the return of longer days and the corresponding increase in positive
energy in the year to come.
Inti Raymi - This solstice celebration comes in
June rather than December. But for Peru it is a winter solstice, and this Incan
celebration is in honor of the Sun god. Originally celebrated by the Inca
before the arrival of Spanish conquistadors, the festivities included feasts
and sacrifices, of animals or possibly even children. The Spaniards banned the
holiday, but it was revived (with mock sacrifices instead of real ones) in the
20th century and is still celebrated today.
Soyal is the winter solstice celebration of the Hopi Indians of northern
Arizona. Ceremonies and rituals include purification, dancing, and sometimes
gift-giving. At the time of the solstice, Hopi welcome the Kachinas,
protective spirits from the mountains. Prayer sticks are crafted and used for
various blessings and other rituals.
The Persian festival Yalda, or Shab-e Yalda is a celebration of the winter solstice in Iran that started in ancient
times. It marks the last day of the Persian month of Azar.
Yalda is viewed traditionally as the victory of light
over dark, and the birthday of the sun god Mithra.
Families celebrate together with special foods like nuts and pomegranates and
some stay awake all night long to welcome the morning sun.
And there are plenty more…
I am reminded
always to inform you to beware of the false image
of love, false emotions, loneliness, depression,
financial drain, suicide.
Be aware of the artificial, false festival lights and music they put
up.
Satan really sets
the stage for you.
Beware if you feel or hear a voice telling you to separate yourself from the
congregation, go off on your own and read or
whatever.
Scriptures says:
Prov.11 [14] Where no counsel
is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.

Truth may
bring on division, a parting,
disunion, dissension
Fake news or information will always mislead you
Misinformation is false or
incorrect information that is spread intentionally or unintentionally. Prove all things first before spreading
Disinformation is false
information spread deliberately to deceive
Watch out for the "Dog and pony show"
Dog and pony show is
a term which has come to mean a highly promoted, often over-staged performance,
presentation, or event designed to sway or convince opinion for certain ends.
In the Health, Science, Space worlds, we need to verify all information
In the Religious world - we need to verify all information with scripture
Focus on
relevancy to Truth
Relevancy: Connected with the matter at hand
With
scripture we need to focus on
what is relevant, whether a subject is a salvation issue or
not.
There are so many people arguing
about irrelevant subjects that are neither here nor there.
In the religious world they are making
their own rules and commandments up, hanging on to old baggage from the last
religion they attended.
Insinuate: to suggest or hint slyly, to bring
or introduce into a position or relation by indirect or artful methods: to instill or infuse subtly or artfully, as into the mind
----------
Consider these terms before you: do, say or participate in something
Ask yourself, is it:
A salvation issue – most important
Relevant - bearing upon or
connected with the matter in hand; pertinent
Not so relevant – not so pertinent
Irrelevant - not relevant; not applicable or pertinent
--------------------
Here are four questions you should ask yourself:
What are the relevant subjects in scripture you should focus on first in your short life?
What are the not so relevant subjects in scripture you should focus on later in your studies if needed?
What are the irrelevant subjects in scripture
that no one can answer or have no bearing on anything of importance?

Again, Embellished lies are still lies

Let’s talk a little about the made – up Chanukah holiday
Feast of the Dedication in scripture is not the Chanukah of today.
Remember these points and you will have it:
1. Chanukah in Hebrew means dedication pertaining to the Temple not a battle
2. There is no Temple (destroyed in 70 AD)
3. Wrong month, should be Adar which is Feb. / March (Winter ends March 21th) (Ezra 6:14, 15)
4. No 8 days of oil in the book of Maccabees
5. No 8 or 9 candlestick menorah in Scripture (only 7 and very important )
-------------------------
Scripture says:
John.10 [22] And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter [23] And Yeshua walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.
In the scriptures above, pertaining to Chanukah / dedication, John was talking about Solomon's temple that Ezra help rebuild.
(1 Kings 8:2; 2 Chr. 5:3) Also please read the scriptures below in Ezra, chapter 6.
Ezra.6:[14] And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they builded, and finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.
[15] And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, (our Feb. / March - cold - neither Nov. nor Dec.), which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.
[16]
And the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the
children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy,
[17] And offered at the dedication of this house of God an hundred bullocks,
two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for a sin offering for all Israel, twelve
he goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.
Esth.3 [7] In the first month, that is, the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar. (Feb. neither Nov. nor Dec.)
Chanukah is a Hebrew word meaning dedication because this observance marks the rededication and building of the Temple after it had been desecrated.
Also remember: The first dedication was in the 7th month, ha Ethanim, 1 Kings 8:2 - (Sept. /Oct.) neither Nov. nor Dec.
1 Kgs.8:[2] And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month ha Ethanim, which is the seventh month.
[63] And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered unto Yehovah, two and twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel "dedicated" the house of Yehovah. וַיַּחְנְכוּ
------------
Another common made up name for this made-up feast is Hag Ha-orim, which means 'the Feast of Lights'.
It is found in the writings of Josephus, who was a first Century Jewish historian.
This second name, however, is also based upon a made – up tradition. Supposedly, when the Jews rededicated the Temple and wanted to rekindle the lamp stand, they found only enough oil for one day. It would take 8 days to make a new supply they decided to kindle and burn the remaining oil, a miracle occurred as the oil that was enough for only one day lasted for eight days ...(all made – up) thus, the term representing, "the Feast of Lights”.
This is why the Chanukah menorah has eight candles, (which is unscriptural) instead of the seven candle sticks the scriptural menorah has.
****They made 8 candles to commemorate this made up miracle.
The made-up feast of today, Chanukah, is not found anywhere in the Scriptures, as it originated during the time of history “after” the Book of Malachi.
It should be remembered that none of the historical books mention this fake miracle, as it originates with the "Talmud" and not in any book of the Holy Scriptures.
The historical books that speak of the Maccabean revolt as a real event are in the uninspired "Catholic" I and 2 Maccabees and they make no mention of any miracle of 8 days of oil at all!!!!!!
I hope
you can understand,
it is fact that this made-up feast is recorded in rabbinic writings not found in the Holy
Scriptures.
I have
the Talmud to prove this. Read the Talmud - Mas. Shabbath
21b yourselves if you care too.

We want the Truth
Truth brings division, a parting, disunion, dissension
Matt.10 [37] He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he
that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.[38] And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hates you.
1 John 3 [7] Little
children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous,
even as he is righteous.
[8] He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was
manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
[9] Whosoever is born of God
doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
[10] In this the children of God
are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness
is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
[11] For this is the message
that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
[12] Not as Cain, who was of
that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works
were evil, and his brother's righteous.
[13] Marvel not, my brethren,
if the world hates you.

John 15 [18] If the world hate you, ye
know that it hated me before it hated you. [19] If ye were of
the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you
out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
[20] Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater
than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if
they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
[21] But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake,
because they know not him that sent me.
[22] If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but
now they have no cloke for their sin.
[23] He that hateth me hateth my Father
also.
[24] If I had not done among
them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have
they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
John.16
[2] They shall
put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth (their) God service.
Matt.11 [6] And blessed is he,
whosoever shall not be offended in me,
Yeshua.

Stand for truth! Don’t be offended by the Word
In all aspects of your life
Look up the words “truth”, "stand" and “offend “in scripture
Here are
some verses. I will just read a few:
Truth
------------------
Stand
1 Cor. 16 [13] Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. [14] Let all your things be done with charity.
1 Cor. 2 [5] That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
Phil. 4 [1] Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.
Col. 4 [12] Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Messiah, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
1 Thes. 3 [8] For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.
------------
2 Thes. 2 [15] Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
2 Tim. 2 [19] Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Messiah depart from iniquity.
1 Pet. 5 [12] By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.

In closing:
We are commanded by God
Learn not the way of the heathen
Jer.10 [2] Thus saith Yehovah, Learn not the way of the heathen , and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. [3] For the customs of the people are vain: for one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
[4] They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers that it move not.
[5] They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
Jer. 16 [19] Yehovah,
my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the
Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely
our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things
wherein there is no profit.
Shabbat Shalom – be safe
