Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory, from the 1500’s

Today is September 22, 2012

September -- the seventh month (wrong- today it is the 9th)

September had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 30 days long.

The word Saturday—Saturn’s day

Saturn is the Roman and Italic God of agriculture. He is believed to have ruled the earth during an age of happiness and virtue. (When was that?)

This day was called dies Saturni, "Saturn's Day", by the ancient Romans in honor of Saturn.

I digress…

------------------

Yehovah has His own calendar

We are now in the 7th month of God called ha Ethanim, 5th day

1Kgs.8[2] And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.

 It is not New Year, Rosh ha Shannah nor when the world was created nor Adam’s birthday, Judaism and some Messianics are wrong!

 This month is called ha Ethanim not Tishrei which is not found in the Hebrew Bible

The Genealogical Records

During Bible times, every Jew could trace his genealogy. So the entire population of Israel was reckoned by genealogies.

1Chr.9 [1] So all Israel were reckoned by genealogies; and, behold, they were written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah, who were carried away to Babylon for their transgression.

These records were kept in the cities (Neh. 7:5-6, Ezra 2:1) and were public property.

Neh.7 [5] And my God put into mine heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found a register of the genealogy of them which came up at the first, and found written therein,
[6] These are the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity, of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and came again to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his city…

Ezra.2 [1] Now these are the children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city…

Each Israelite’s genealogical record constituted his title to his farm or home—so he had a pecuniary interest in preserving the genealogical records of his family.

These national genealogical records were carefully kept until the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in 70 A.D.

During the life of Yeshua, no one offered to dispute the well-known fact that He was of the house and lineage of David, because it was in the public records that all had access to.

----------------

While the Temple was still standing and before Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 A.D., all the genealogical records of the Jews were kept intact and preserved to show us the authenticity of the Messiah, so there could be no mistake.

No one in the future can be the Messiah, this is an indisputable fact!

After the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D., the Jews were dispersed all over the world. Tribal identity is lost today.

The genealogies of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah are in the Gospel records.

---------------

Remember, this shows that the Messiah had to come before the year 70 A.D.

Of all David’s many sons, the Messiah must get His right to the throne of David through Solomon’s regal line

1Chr.28 [5] And of all my sons, (for Yehovah hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of Yehovah over Israel.

In the Gospel, Solomon is in the regal line from David to Joseph

(Joseph’s linage)

Matt.1

[1] The book of the generation of Yeshua the Messiah, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
[2] Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;
[3] And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;
[4] And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;
[5] And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;
[6] And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;
[7] And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;
[8] And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;
[9] And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;
[10] And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;
[11] And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:
[12] And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;
[13] And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;
[14] And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;
[15] And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;
[16] And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Yeshua, who is called Messiah.

However another important specification about the Messiah’s lineage is that He must be born of a virgin.

Since the Messiah must be of the fruit of David’s body (Psa. 132:11)

Pss.132 [11] The Yehovah hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.

this virgin must be a direct descendant of King David

Isa.7 [14] Therefore Yehovah himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
[15] Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.
[16] For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.

In the Gospels we find that Yeshua was indeed was born of a virgin, a virgin who was a direct descendant of King David.

After listing the genealogical record from Abraham to Messiah above, showing descent by generation to generation, we finally come to the striking statement:

Mat. 1 [18] Now the birth of Yeshua the Messiah was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

[19] Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
[20] But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
[21] And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
[22] Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
[23] Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

We are dependent on a good woman (Mary), a good man (Joseph), a good doctor (Luke), a faithful recorder (Matthew), the word of an angel, and the Word of God (who gave both the prediction and its literal fulfillment), for an honest, accurate account of the birth of Yeshua

Let’s read Luke 1 and 2. They are filled with many fulfilled prophecies of Messiah – look the up

Luke.1

[1] Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,
[2] Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word;
[3] It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus,
[4] That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.
[5] There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
[6] And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
[7] And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.
[8] And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest's office before God in the order of his course,
[9] According to the custom of the priest's office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord.
[10] And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense.
[11] And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
[12] And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.
[13] But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
[14] And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.
[15] For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.
[16] And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.
[17] And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
[18] And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.
[19] And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.
[20] And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.
[21] And the people waited for Zacharias, and marvelled that he tarried so long in the temple.
[22] And when he came out, he could not speak unto them: and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple: for he beckoned unto them, and remained speechless.
[23] And it came to pass, that, as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house.
[24] And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying,
[25] Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men.
[26] And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
[27] To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
[28] And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
[29] And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
[30] And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
[31] And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Yeshua.
[32] He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
[33] And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
[34] Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
[35] And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
[36] And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
[37] For with God nothing shall be impossible.
[38] And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
[39] And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda;
[40] And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.
[41] And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
[42] And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
[43] And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
[44] For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
[45] And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.
[46] And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
[47] And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
[48] For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
[49] For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.
[50] And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.
[51] He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
[52] He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.
[53] He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.
[54] He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;
[55] As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.
[56] And Mary abode with her about three months, and returned to her own house.
[57] Now Elisabeth's full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son.
[58] And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the Lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her.
[59] And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father.
[60] And his mother answered and said, Not so; but he shall be called John.
[61] And they said unto her, There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name.
[62] And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called.
[63] And he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, His name is John. And they marvelled all.
[64] And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, and praised God.
[65] And fear came on all that dwelt round about them: and all these sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of Judaea.
[66] And all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord was with him.
[67] And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,
[68] Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
[69] And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;
[70] As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:
[71] That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;
[72] To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;
[73] The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,
[74] That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,
[75] In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.
[76] And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;
[77] To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,
[78] Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,
[79] To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
[80] And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.

Luke.2

[1] And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
[2] (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
[3] And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
[4] And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
[5] To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
[6] And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
[7] And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
[8] And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
[9] And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
[10] And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
[11] For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Messiah the Lord.
[12] And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
[13] And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
[14] Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
[15] And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
[16] And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
[17] And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.
[18] And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.
[19] But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.
[20] And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
[21] And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.
[22] And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord;
[23] (As it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;)
[24] And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.
[25] And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
[26] And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Messiah.
[27] And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Yeshua, to do for him after the custom of the law,
[28] Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,
[29] Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:
[30] For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
[31] Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
[32] A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.
[33] And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.
[34] And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;
[35] (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.
[36] And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;
[37] And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.
[38] And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.
[39] And when they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own city Nazareth.
[40] And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.
[41] Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover.
[42] And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.
[43] And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Yeshua tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it.
[44] But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.
[45] And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him.
[46] And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
[47] And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
[48] And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.
[49] And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?
[50] And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.
[51] And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.
[52] And Yeshua increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

Luke.3 (Mary’s linage)

 [23] And Yeshua himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son (in law)of Heli, (Mary’s father)
[24] Which was the son of Matthat, which was the son of Levi, which was the son of Melchi, which was the son of Janna, which was the son of Joseph,
[25] Which was the son of Mattathias, which was the son of Amos, which was the son of Naum, which was the son of Esli, which was the son of Nagge,

[29] Which was the son of Jose, which was the son of Eliezer, which was the son of Jorim, which was the son of Matthat, which was the son of Levi,
[30] Which was the son of Simeon, which was the son of Juda, which was the son of Joseph, which was the son of Jonan, which was the son of Eliakim,
[31] Which was the son of Melea, which was the son of Menan, which was the son of Mattatha, which was the son of Nathan, which was the son of David,
[32] Which was the son of Jesse, which was the son of Obed, which was the son of Booz, which was the son of Salmon, which was the son of Naasson,
[33] Which was the son of Aminadab, which was the son of Aram, which was the son of Esrom, which was the son of Phares, which was the son of Juda,
[34] Which was the son of Jacob, which was the son of Isaac, which was the son of Abraham, which was the son of Thara, which was the son of Nachor,
[35] Which was the son of Saruch, which was the son of Ragau, which was the son of Phalec, which was the son of Heber, which was the son of Sala,

[37] Which was the son of Mathusala, which was the son of Enoch, which was the son of Jared, which was the son of Maleleel, which was the son of Cainan,
[38] Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.

The Curse of Jeconiah, also known as Jehoiachin or Coniah

Yeshua the Messiah's Right to David's Throne

Messiah, the Seed of David, must be virgin-born, and yet have a legal right to the throne of David despite the fact that one of Solomon's descendants was a certain evil man named Jeconiah, of whom it was written that none of his descendants would ever rule in Judah ( see below Jeremiah 22: 28-30 ), and despite the fact that in Israel the right to the throne was transmitted only through the male line. Here Messiah was born of a virgin!

It is perfectly clear in the verses below that the Messiah will inherit the throne of David

Isaiah 9 [6] For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
[7] Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of Yehovah of hosts will perform this.

Jeremiah 33 [14] Behold, the days come, saith Yehovah, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
[15] In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.
[16] In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The Yehovah our righteousness.
[17] For thus saith Yehovah; David shall never want ( lack ) a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
[18] Neither shall the priests the Levites want ( lack ) a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.

Psalm 132 [11] The Yehovah hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.

I Chronicles 17 [11] And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom.
[12] He shall build me an house, and I will stablish his throne for ever.
[13] I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee:
[14] But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore.
---------------------------

We see that Messiah had to be born of a virgin.

So how can He get His legal right to the throne of David since Jeconiah was cursed?

The prophet Isaiah said, "The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will perform this".

 (Isaiah 9:7 above )

Not only was the apparently impossible solved and resolved in Yeshua the Messiah, but God has given us the complete record of how He did it in the genealogies of the gospels.

In Matthew's genealogy, the genealogy of Messiah through Yoseph is given. This genealogy shows Messiah to be "the Son of David" - so giving Him right to "David's throne" and also "the Son of Abraham" - so giving Him right to the Land of Promise, the territorial possessions given to Abraham and his seed.

In Matthew's genealogy, Yoseph is seen to be in the REGAL line of descent from King David, down through Solomon. But Yoseph was also a descendant of David through Jeconiah (also called Coniah)-hence, succession to the throne for Yoseph personally is barred.

Matthew's genealogical record is careful to show that Yeshua was NOT, through Yoseph, the "fruit of David's body," i.e. - a direct descendant of David through Yoseph.

Luke 3 Genealogy through Mary

[23] And Yeshua himself began to be about thirty years of age, being ( as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son (in law) of Heli,

 Mary's father) because in Matt. 1:16 Jacob begat Joseph

In this record, Messiah is shown to be the LITERAL "fruit of David's body" through His mother Miriam.

This is important because while Miriam was in a ROYAL line from David, she was not in the REGAL lineage, for she was a descendant of King David through Nathan, whereas the throne rights were to come through Solomon's line.

I Chronicles 28 [5] And of all my sons, (for Yehovah hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of Yehovah over Israel.[6 ] And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.
[7] Moreover I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he be constant to do my commandments and my judgments, as at this day.

Yoseph's marriage to Miriam before Yeshua was born was an absolute necessity.

Now the birth of Yeshua Messiah was on this wise: When as His mother Miriam was espoused to Yoseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy SpiritÂ…behold the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Yoseph, thou SON OF DAVID, fear not to take unto thee Miriam THY WIFE: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 1: 18-20)

We see through Miriam, Yeshua the Messiah obtained His literal descent from King David; and from Miriam's marriage to Yoseph, who was also son of David, Messiah Yeshua obtained His legal right to David's throne, for Miriam was Yoseph's wife before Yeshua was born.

Yoseph was not Yeshua's father, God was His father.

Yoseph was Messiah's foster or stepfather, and withal, the prophecy concerning Jeconiah was fulfilled too, for Yeshua the Messiah is NOT the "seed", a direct descendant of Jeconiah as stated in Jer. 22:30 below.

Jer.22[ 30] Thus saith Yehovah, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.

Yoseph and Miriam had to be the parents (foster or stepfather and mother) of Yeshua the Messiah: they were the only two people of that generation who could be, and fulfill prophecy about the Messiah.

 Yoseph had to be married to Miriam before Yeshua was born so He could get His legal right to David's throne through Yoseph.

At the same time, Messiah could not be a child of Yoseph because of the bar against a descendant of Jeconiah.

Though Yoseph had to be married to Miriam, yet Yoseph could not know Miriam as his wife until after Yeshua was born, for He had to be born of a virgin.

Yeshua the Messiah's Right to David's Throne

1Chr.3

[1] Now these were the sons of David, which were born unto him in Hebron; the firstborn Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second Daniel, of Abigail the Carmelitess:
[2] The third, Absalom the son of Maachah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur: the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith:
[3] The fifth, Shephatiah of Abital: the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife.
[4] These six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years.
[5] And these were born unto him in Jerusalem; Shimea, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bath-shua the daughter of Ammiel:
[6] Ibhar also, and Elishama, and Eliphelet,
[7] And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,
[8] And Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine.
[9] These were all the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines, and Tamar their sister.
[10] And Solomon's son was Rehoboam, Abia his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,
[11] Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,
[12] Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son,
[13] Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,
[14] Amon his son, Josiah his son.
[15] And the sons of Josiah were, the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.
[16] And the sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son.
[17] And the sons of Jeconiah ; Assir, Salathiel his son,
[18] Malchiram also, and Pedaiah, and Shenazar, Jecamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.
[19] And the sons of Pedaiah were, Zerubbabel , and Shimei: and the sons of Zerubbabel; Meshullam, and Hananiah, and Shelomith their sister:
[20] And Hashubah, and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, Jushab-hesed, five.
[21] And the sons of Hananiah; Pelatiah, and Jesaiah: the sons of Rephaiah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Obadiah, the sons of Shechaniah.
[22] And the sons of Shechaniah; Shemaiah; and the sons of Shemaiah; Hattush, and Igeal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six.
[23] And the sons of Neariah; Elioenai, and Hezekiah, and Azrikam, three.
[24] And the sons of Elioenai were, Hodaiah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Dalaiah, and Anani, seven.

Jer.22[ 24] As I live, saith Yehovah, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon my right hand, yet would I pluck thee thence;
[25] And I will give thee into the hand of them that seek thy life, and into the hand of them whose face thou fearest, even into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.
[26] And I will cast thee out, and thy mother that bare thee, into another country, where ye were not born; and there shall ye die.
[27] But to the land whereunto they desire to return, thither shall they not return.
[28] Is this man Coniah a despised broken idol? is he a vessel wherein is no pleasure? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not?
[29] O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of Yehovah.

[30] Thus saith Yehovah, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.

Jeconiah, also known as Jehoiachin or Coniah

2Kgs.24[ 6] So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.

[8] Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother's name was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.

[12] And Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.

[15] And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the king's mother, and the king's wives, and his officers, and the mighty of the land, those carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.

2Kgs.25[ 27] And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, that Evil-merodach king of Babylon in the year that he began to reign did lift up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of prison;

2Chr.36[ 8] Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and his abominations which he did, and that which was found in him, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.

[9] Jehoiachin was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of Yehovah.

Jer.52[ 31] And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evil-merodach king of Babylon in the first year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison,

Ezek.1[ 2] In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin 's captivity,

Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, in genealogy of Messiah Yeshua - no curse (Hag. 2:23)

Ezra.2[ 2] Which came with Zerubbabel : Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:

Ezra.3[ 2] Then stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel , and his brethren, and builded the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God.

[8] Now in the second year of their coming unto the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set forward the work of the house of Yehovah.

Ezra.4[ 2] Then they came to Zerubbabel , and to the chief of the fathers, and said unto them, Let us build with you: for we seek your God, as ye do; and we do sacrifice unto him since the days of Esar-haddon king of Assur, which brought us up hither. [3] But Zerubbabel , and Jeshua, and the rest of the chief of the fathers of Israel, said unto them, Ye have nothing to do with us to build an house unto our God; but we ourselves together will build unto Yehovah God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of Persia hath commanded us.

Ezra.5[ 2] Then rose up Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel , and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and began to build the house of God which is at Jerusalem: and with them were the prophets of God helping them.

Neh.7[ 7] Who came with Zerubbabel , Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number, I say, of the men of the people of Israel was this;

Neh.12[ 1] Now these are the priests and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,

[47] And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, every day his portion: and they sanctified holy things unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified them unto the children of Aaron.

Hag.1[ 1] In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of Yehovah by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying,

[12] Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of Yehovah their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as Yehovah their God had sent him, and the people did fear before Yehovah.

[14] And Yehovah stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of Yehovah of hosts, their God,

Hag.2[ 2] Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,

[4] Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith Yehovah; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith Yehovah, and work: for I am with you, saith Yehovah of hosts:

[21] Speak to Zerubbabel , governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;

[23] In that day, saith Yehovah of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel , my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith Yehovah, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith Yehovah of hosts.

Zech.4[ 6] Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of Yehovah unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith Yehovah of hosts.

[7] Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

[9] The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that Yehovah of hosts hath sent me unto you. [10] For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of Yehovah, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

Matt.1 Genealogy through Joseph

[1] The book of the generation of Yeshua the Messiah, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
[2] Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;
[3] And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;
[4] And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;
[5] And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;
[6] And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;
[7] And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;
[8] And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;
[9] And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;
[10] And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;
[11] And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:
[12] And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;
[13] And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;
[14] And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;
[15] And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;

[16] And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Yeshua, who is called Messiah.

[17] So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Messiah are fourteen generations.
[18] Now the birth of Yeshua the Messiah was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

[21] And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name YESHUA / JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

[22] Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
[23] Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Isa.7[ 14] Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

[24] Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
[25] And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name YESHUA / JESUS.

Conclusion:

Yeshua was born of a virgin and God was His Father.

Through Miriam / Mary, Yeshua / Yeshua the Messiah / Messiah obtained His literal descent from King David; and from Miriam's marriage to Yoseph / Joseph, who was also a "son of David", He, Messiah Yeshua obtained His legal right to David's throne, for Miriam was Yoseph's wife before Yeshua was born, so making Yoseph Yeshua's legal father, His "foster father", and withal, the prophecy concerning Jeconiah was fulfilled too, for Yeshua the Messiah is NOT the "seed", a direct descendant of Jeconiah. (Jer. 22:30)

The virgin birth was the "SIGN" no one could imitate or fake!

Isa.7[ 14] Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a "sign"; Behold, a "virgin" shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (God with us).

-----------------------

The prophet Daniel foretold the exact days, years, and months the Messiah would be born and would die.

Anyone who professed to be the Messiah that was born or died before or after these dates prophesied by Daniel would be an impostor, because the Messiah had to be born and to die on these exact dates.

In giving the timetable from Daniel’s time to the coming of the Messiah, Daniel makes it very clear that the Messiah will come and be cut off, killed as a substitute for the forgiveness of our former sins before the “people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city [Jerusalem] and the sanctuary” (Dan. 9:26).

This is more proof to the above mentioned prophecies of God’s time that God would come to earth living in a human, a man.

A fact to the time of the Messiah’s coming

The Messiah had to come 483 years after a specific date in Daniel’s time.

This definite prediction as to the exact TIME of the coming of the Messiah is one of the most wonderful prophecies in the entire Bible. It establishes the date of the Messiah’s advent almost five hundred years before He came.

Here is the prediction:

“Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto THE MESSIAH THE PRINCE shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for Himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary” (Dan. 9:25-26).

It is recorded history, the date of the “commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem” was the decree by Artaxerxes in 444 B.C. which granted the Jews permission to return to Israel and rebuild the city of Jerusalem (Neh. 2:1-8).

The Hebrew word translated as “weeks” in the Scripture quoted above (Dan. 9:25-26) means “sevens” and is used to mean seven years, as when Jacob served his weeks for his wives: seven years, one week, for Leah, and seven years, one week, for Rachel 14 (Gen. 29:27-28, Lev. 25:8).

In other words, the “seventy sevens” that are prophetically determined for Israel and the holy city, with specified events (Dan. 9:24)

This period is divided sections:

The first is seven “weeks,” or seven sevens of years—the 49 years the prophet allotted for the rebuilding of Jerusalem under the leadership of Nehemiah and Ezra and those associated with them (see the books of Nehemiah and Ezra).

History tells us it took 49 years to do this rebuilding.

The second period is 62 “weeks,” or 434 years, which would bring the time to the MESSIAH. The third period, the 70th “week,” is a period of seven years some time after the coming of the Messiah.

The Messiah had to be born at some time; it might have been in any century, or in any year; but with absolute certainty the exact year and the very month of a notable event in His life was foretold.
