The Gregorian calendar (Pope Gregory, 1500's) – July 9, 2011
--------------
Sad to say,
English
Julie
Latin Julius "Julius"
Latin Julius mensis "month of Julius"
Julius
Caesar reformed the Roman calendar (then called the Julian calendar) in 46
BC. As you see,
he renamed this month after himself.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
We restore the calendar of God
We are in the 4th month, of God which has no name in scripture, the
7th day
Should
we call the 4th month Tammuz as Judaism says? No!
Tammuz - (pagan deity)îÀáÇëÌåÉú
àÆúÎäÇ úÌÇîÌåÌæ - a Sumerian deity of food or vegetation, a Phoenician deity
Ezek.8 [14] Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD's
house which was toward the north; and, behold, there
sat women weeping for Tammuz

I explain
the Sabbath, the 7th day, each week
This is
how simple it is:
Exod. 20
[8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep
it holy.
[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
[10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God:
in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy
manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested
the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
------------
Same in Deut. 5
[12] Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as Yehovah thy God hath
commanded thee.
[13] Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:
[14] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy
daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger
that is within thy gates; that thy manservant
and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.
[15] And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that Yehovah thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a
stretched out arm: therefore Yehovah thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
------------
Lev. 23
[3] Six days shall work be done:
but
the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an “holy convocation”;
ye shall do no work therein:
it is the Sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.
--------
Isa. 58 [13] If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my
holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of Yehovah, honourable; and shalt honour him,
1 - not doing thine own ways,
2 - nor finding thine own pleasure,
3 - nor speaking thine own words:
[14] Then shalt thou delight thyself in Yehovah; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and
feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for
the mouth of Yehovah hath
spoken it.
------------------------
Buying
and selling is evil on the Sabbath
Neh. 13 [16] There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the Sabbath unto the children of Judah,
and in Jerusalem.
[17] Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto
them, what evil thing is this that ye do, and
profane the Sabbath day?
-----------------
The first day
is mentioned only 2
times when they met for a certain event in Acts and the letter to the
Corinthians
It never says the 1st day replaced the 7th day as
Sabbath
It never says the 1st day is a Commandment or a rest
Acts 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul
preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech
until midnight.
1Corinthians 16:2 Upon the first day of the week
let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath
prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
------------------------
We read from law and the prophets every Sabbath
like they did in the Book of Acts.
60 times in the Gospels and letters it uses the word Sabbath!

Today’s
Topic:
Physical and Spiritual Giants
We read about Physical and Spiritual
Giants in Scripture
Are you ready for the Giants in your
life?
These
giants maybe people, friends, relatives, situations to discourage you, watch!
Don't let anyone discourage you from
serving God
Some
say - Mal.3
[14]
Ye have said, It is vain to
serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance,
and that we have walked mournfully before Yehovah of
hosts?
Physical Giants to discourage you
Deut. 2 [10] The Emims dwelt
therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims;
[11] Which
also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the
Moabites call them Emims .
[20 ] (That also was accounted a land of giants:
giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims ;
Deut. 3 [11] For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of
giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon?
nine cubits was the length thereof ( approx.
13 feet ), and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.
[13] And
the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, being the kingdom of Og, gave I unto the half tribe of Manasseh; all
the region of Argob, with all Bashan, which was
called the land of giants.
-----
Exod. 14 [13] And Moses
said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still,
and see the salvation of Yehovah, which he will shew to you to day: for the
Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them
again no more for ever.
Gen. 6 [4] There were giants in the earth in those days;
and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men,
and they bare children to them, the same became
mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
Num. 13 [33] And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants : and we were in our own sight
as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
Josh.12 [4] And the coast of Og king of Bashan, which was of the remnant of the
giant s, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,
Josh.13 [12] All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth
and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the
giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them
out.
Josh.15 [8] And the border went up by the valley of the son
of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to
the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley
of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the
valley of the giants northward:
Josh.17 [15] And Joshua answered them, If
thou be a great people, then get thee up to the wood country, and cut down for
thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of
the giants, if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee.
Josh.18 [16] And the border came down to the end of the
mountain that lieth before the valley of the son of Hinnom, and which is in the valley of the giants on
the north, and descended to the valley of Hinnom, to
the side of Jebusi on the south, and descended to En-rogel,
David
& Goliath - 1Sam.17:[1] Now the Philistines gathered together their armies to
battle, and were gathered together at Shochoh, which belongeth to Judah, and pitched between Shochoh
and Azekah, in Ephes-dammim.[2]
And Saul and the men of Israel were gathered together, and pitched by the
valley of Elah, and set the battle in array against
the Philistines.[3] And the Philistines stood on a mountain on the one side,
and Israel stood on a mountain on the other side: and there was a valley
between them.[4] And there went out a champion out of the camp of the
Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.
approx. 9 1\2 feet
2 Sam. 21 [16] And Ishbi-benob,
which was of the sons of the giant, the weight of whose spear weighed three
hundred shekels of brass in weight, he being girded with a new sword, thought
to have slain David.
[18] And
it came to pass after this, that there was again a battle with the Philistines
at Gob: then Sibbechai the Hushathite
slew Saph, which was of the sons of the giant. [19]
And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the
son of Jaare-oregim, a Bethlehemite,
slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite , the staff of whose spear was like a weaver's beam.[ 20]
And there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of great stature, that
had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and
twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant. [ 21] And
when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea the
brother of David slew him.[22] These four were born to the giant in Gath, and fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.
1 Chr. 20 [4] And it came to pass after this, that there arose
war at Gezer with the Philistines; at which time Sibbechai
the Hushathite slew Sippai,
that was of the children of the giant: and they were subdued.
[6] And
yet again there was war at Gath, where was a man of great
stature, whose fingers and toes were four and twenty, six on
each hand, and six on each foot: and he also was the son of the giant.
[8]
These were born unto the giant in Gath; and they
fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.

We
always have the physical and the spiritual to consider in the scriptures
Spiritual Giants to watch out for
Satan is the main Giant to watch out for
1 Pet.4 [12] Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some
strange thing happened unto you
:
[13] But
rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Messiah's sufferings
; that, when his glory shall
be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
[14]
If ye be reproached for the name of Messiah, happy are ye; for the spirit of
glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part
he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
2 Cor.10 [ 3] For though we walk in
the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:[4 ] (For the
weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling
down of strong holds;)
[5] Casting
down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth
itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought
to the obedience of Messiah;
[6] And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience , when your obedience is fulfilled.
Rev. 12 [12 ] Therefore rejoice, ye
heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters
of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath,
because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
[17] And the
dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war
with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and
have the testimony of Jesus Messiah.
1Pet. 5 [8 ] Be sober, be vigilant;
because your adversary the devil , as a roaring
lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
----
John 15[ 20] Remember the word that
I, Yeshua said unto you, The servant is not greater
than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will
also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours
also.
Acts 14 -22 Paul was confirming the souls of the disciples, and
exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through
much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
Mark 10 [ 29] And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto
you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father,
or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,[30]
But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and
sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with
persecutions; and in the world to
come eternal life.
2 Tim 3 [ 1] This know also, that
in the last days perilous times shall come.
[2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters,
proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
[3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers,
incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
[4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of
pleasures more than lovers of God;
[5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such
turn away.
[6] For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive
silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
[7] Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
[8] Now as Jannes and Jambres
withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
[9] But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest
unto all men, as theirs also was.
[10] But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose,
faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
[11] Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at
Iconium, at Lystra; what
persecution s I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. [12] Yea, and all that will live godly
in Messiah Yeshua shall suffer
persecution.
Rom.8
[ 35] Who shall
separate us from the love of Messiah? shall
tribulation, or distress, or persecution , or famine, or nakedness, or
peril, or sword?
[
36]
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day
long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
[37] Nay, in
all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
[38] For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor
angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
[39 ] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be
able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Messiah Yeshua our Lord.
Satan was cast out of heaven to this "earth", beware!
Luke.10[18] And he said unto them, I,
(Yeshua) beheld
Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
Rev.12
[4] And his (Satan’s tail)
tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the
earth:
Rev.12[7]
And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,[8]
And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
[9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old
serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth
the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out
with him.
At the end - [10] And I
heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and
the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Messiah: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them
before our God day and night.
[11] And they overcame him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word
of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.[12] Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in
them.
Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the
devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
[13] And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he
persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
[14]
And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into
the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times,
and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
[15] And the serpent cast out of his mouth water
as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the
flood.
[16] And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and
swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out
of his mouth.
[17] And the
dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant
of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have
the testimony of Yeshua Messiah.
A few verses to trace Satan, the main
giant!
Gen.2[8] And Yehovah
God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had
formed.
Gen.3[1] Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which Yehovah God had made. And he said unto the woman,
Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of
the garden?
Gen.314]
And Yehovah God said unto the serpent, Because
thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of
the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:[15]
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and
her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt
bruise his heel.
Job.2[1] Again there was a day when the
sons of God came to present themselves before Yehovah,
and Satan came also among them to
present himself before Yehovah.[2] And Yehovah said unto Satan,
From whence comest thou? And Satan answered Yehovah,
and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down
in it.[3] And Yehovah said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant
Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man,
one that feareth God, and escheweth
evil? and still he holdeth
fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against
him, to destroy him without cause.
1Pet.5[8] Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Matt.4[3] And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the
Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
1Thes.3[5] For this cause, when I could no
longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted
you, and our labour be in vain.
Give no place to the devil
Eph.4[27] Neither give place to the devil.
Prince of the power of the air is a spirit
Eph.2[2] Wherein in time past ye walked
according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh
in the children of disobedience:
Angel of
light, satan's
ministers in congregations, beware!
2
Cor.11 [14] And no marvel; for Satan
himself is transformed into an angel of light.[15] Therefore it is no great
thing if his (satan's) ministers also be transformed as the ministers of
righteousness;
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The prince of Tyrus,
king of Tyrus
the king of Babylon
and the man of sin
are men but,
look close
many attributes of Satan,
It is SATAN!
Ezek.28[1] The word of Yehovah
came again unto me, saying,
[2] Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord Yehovah; Because thine heart is
lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the
seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though
thou set thine heart as the heart of God:
[3] Behold, thou art wiser
than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:
[4] With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast
gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:
[5] By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:
[6] Therefore thus saith
the Lord Yehovah; Because
thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;
[7] Behold, therefore I will bring
strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their
swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
[8] They shall bring thee down to the
pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are
slain in the midst of the seas.
[9] Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.
[10] Thou shalt
die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken
it, saith the Lord Yehovah.
-----------
[11] Moreover the Word of Yehovah came unto me, saying,
[12] Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, (Satan) and
say unto him, Thus saith the Lord Yehovah;
Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect
in beauty.[13] Thou hast been in Eden the
garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and
the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the
workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was
prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
[14] Thou art the anointed
cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and
down in the midst of the stones of fire.
[15] Thou wast
perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast
created, till iniquity was found in thee.
[16] By the multitude of thy
merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned:
therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will
destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst
of the stones of fire.
[17] Thine heart was lifted
up because of thy beauty; thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of
thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground; I will lay thee before kings,
that they may behold thee.
[18] Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries
by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity
of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire
from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes
upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
[19] All they that know thee among the
people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a
terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

Now, the king of Babylon (Satan)
Isa. 14 [4] That thou shalt take up this
proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor
ceased! the golden city ceased!
[5] Yehovah hath broken the staff of the
wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers.[6] He
who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the
nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.[7]
The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.[8]
Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since
thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.
[9] Hell
from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of
the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.[10]
All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?
[11] Thy pomp is brought down to
the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the
worms cover thee.
[12] How art
thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down
to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
[13] For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount
of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
[14] I will ascend above the
heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
[15] Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
[16] They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and
consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the
earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
[17] That made the world as a
wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his
prisoners?
[18] All the kings of the
nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in
his own house
.[19] But thou art cast out of
thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are
slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a
carcase trodden under feet.
[20] Thou shalt
not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and
slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.
------------
The man of sin (working of Satan)
2Thes.2:[1] Now we beseech you, brethren, by the
coming of our Lord Jesus Messiah, and by our gathering together unto him,[2]
That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by
word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Messiah is at hand.
[3] Let no man deceive you by
any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first,
and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
[4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above
all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing
himself that he is God.
[5] Remember ye not, that, when
I was yet with you, I told you these things?[6]
And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
[7] For the mystery of iniquity doth already work:
only he (God) who now letteth will let
until he (Satan), be taken out of the way.
[8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume
with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his
coming:
[9] Even him, whose coming is after
the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
[10] And with all
deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received
not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
[11] And for this cause
God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
[12] That they all might be
damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Dan.11[36] And the
king shall do according to his will;
and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and
shall speak marvellous things against the God of
gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is
determined shall be done.
[37] Neither shall he regard the God of
his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

Spiritual Advice
Eph. 6 [10] Finally, my brethren, be strong in
the Lord, and in the power of his might.
[11] Put on
the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand
against the wiles of the devil.
[12] For we wrestle not against flesh
and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of
the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
[13] Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able
to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
[14] Stand
therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the
breastplate of righteousness;
[15] And your feet shod with the
preparation of the gospel of peace
[16] Above all, taking the shield of
faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
[17] And take the helmet of salvation,
and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
[18] Praying always with all prayer and
supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and
supplication for all saints..
Watch out for the Giants in your
life
