Let’s pray
Today we use the
Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s.
Today is April 27, 2013 (the fourth
month)
April -- Aphrodite's
month - Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love and beauty. She is identified with
the Roman goddess Venus.
--------------------------------------
Yehovah has His own calendar
We are now in the
second month of God called Ziv / Zif, 16th day
ziv - brightness, (figuratively) the month of flowers
1Kgs.6[1] And it came to pass in
the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out
of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the
month Zif, which is the second month, that he
began to build the house of Yehovah.
[37] In the fourth
year was the foundation of the house of Yehovah laid, in the month Zif:
***Make sure you change your Judaism calendars – The
2nd month is not Iyyar as Judaism states, it is Ziv.

**Remember:
We were told to count the
"Sabbaths" not omers
So we
are counting
Today
is the 4th Sabbath out of the seven Sabbaths we were told to count.
Judaism, some Messianics and some
Protestant Messianics are counting the “omer”. They still cannot follow the scriptures correctly. They follow each other.
---------------
For your information: An "omer"עמר is a "sheaf" of barley, a dry measure of 1/10 ephah (about 2 liters)
---------------------
Now let’s read scripture
Lev.23 [15]
And ye shall count unto you from the
morrow after the sabbath,
from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: [16] Even unto the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto Yehovah.
[21] And ye shall proclaim
on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy
convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a
statute for
ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
Simple isn’t it?

Today's topic:
Please Hear Israel the words of
Scripture
It
always amazes me that people are so ready to give an opinion on the Bible
having never actually read it.
So many
people are ready to just read books, listen to DVDs, CDs or websites for some
spiritual insight. They go to psychics, fortunetellers and many other prognosticators
to understand dreams and what they call visitations. I don’t understand why
they don’t look into the Scriptures of truth, all the
answers are there. We as forensic spiritual detectives
want the hard evidence. Scripture tells us to prove all things, and to study to
show yourselves approved.
Sad to say, most people just add or diminish
from the word of God at will, with no fear.
Here is what Scripture says:
Deut. 4 [2] Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither
shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of
the Yehovah your God which I command you.
Deut.12 [32] What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
Simply out:
Prov.30 [6] Add thou not unto his
words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
-------------------
Well, we were told in TaNaK if they
will only read it:
[10]
If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of Yehovah thy God, to keep his
commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if
thou turn unto Yehovah thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
[11]
For this commandment which I command thee this day, it
is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
[12]
It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest
say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear
it, and do it?
[13] Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest
say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it
unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
[14]
But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and
in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
---------
[15]
See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
[16]
In that I command thee this day to love Yehovah thy God, to walk in his ways,
and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou
mayest live and multiply: and Yehovah thy God shall bless thee in the land
whither thou goest to possess it.
--------
They, the
people have shut their eyes, ears and mind to the God of Israel and His Word.
Jer.6 [16] Thus saith
Yehovah, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where
is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But
they said, we will not walk
therein.
Ezek.33 [32] And, lo, thou art unto them as a
very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an
instrument: for they hear thy words, but they
do them not.
Ezek.33 [31] And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear
thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much
love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.
Pss.78 [36] Nevertheless they
did flatter him with their mouth, and they lied unto
him with their tongues.
Isa.29 [13] Wherefore the Lord
said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their
lips do honour me, but have
removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the
precept of men:
Matt.15 [8] This
people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but
their heart is far from me.
----------------------------
What is a parable?
Simply
put, a parable is a story to explain, in many different ways, a point or a
theme so that people can relate or understand what is being said.
Pss.49 [1] Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of
the world:
[2] Both low and high, rich and poor, together.
[3] My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall
be of understanding.
[4] I will incline mine ear to a
parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.
--------
Pss.78 [1] Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the
words of my mouth.
[2]
I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter
dark sayings of old:
[3]
Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.
---------
Let’s read some Scripture:
They, the people have shut their
eyes, ears and mind to God and His Word
Matt.13 [ 13] Therefore speak I to them in parables : "because they" seeing see not;
and "hearing "they" hear not, neither do "they"
understand.
[14
] And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias , which saith, By hearing ye shall hear,
and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:[15
] For this people's heart is waxed gross, and
their ears are dull of hearing , and their
eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with
their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart,
and should be converted, and I should heal them.
Mark.4 [11 ] And he said unto them, Unto you
it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are
without, all these things are done in parables :[12] That seeing they may see, and not perceive;
and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be
converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.
[13] And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?
Acts.28[ 25] And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed,
after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the
Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,
[26] Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall
not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:
[27] For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are
dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see
with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and
should be converted, and I should heal them.
[28]
Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the
Gentiles, and that they will hear it.
John.12[ 39] Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again ,[40 ] He hath blinded their
eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor
understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
Isa.6 [ 9] And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye
indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.[10] Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears
heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their
ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
Isa.44 [ 13] The carpenter stretcheth out
his rule; he marketh it out with a line; he fitteth it with planes, and he marketh
it out with the compass, and maketh it after the
figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the
house.
[14] He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the
cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth for
himself among the trees of the forest: he planteth an
ash, and the rain doth nourish it.
[15] Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and
warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a
god, and worshippeth it; he maketh
it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.
[16] He burneth part thereof in the fire; with
part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth
roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and
saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:
[17] And the residue thereof he maketh a god,
even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto
it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.
[18] They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their
hearts, that they cannot understand.
[19] And none
considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge
nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I
have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it:
and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall
I fall down to the stock of a tree?
[20] He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart
hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?
Isa.30 [9] That this is a rebellious people,
lying children, children that will not hear the law of
Yehovah:
Isa.59 [2] But your
iniquities have separated between you and
your God, and your sins
have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
Isa.65 [12] Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all
bow down to the slaughter: because when I called,
ye did not answer; when I spake ,
ye did not hear ; but did evil before mine
eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.
Isa.29 [13 ] Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw
near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour
me, but have removed their heart far from me,
and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
Matt.15 [7] Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, [8] This
people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their
heart is far from me .[9
] But in vain they
do worship me , teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Jer.6 [17] Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of
the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.
Zech.7 [7 ] Should ye not hear the
words which Yehovah hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was
inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men
inhabited the south and the plain?
[11]
But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the
shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear .
[13]
Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear;
so they cried, and I would not hear, saith Yehovah of hosts:
-------------------------
Ezek.12 [2] Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst
of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see
not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious
house.
David says:
Pss. 69 [ 20]
Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for
some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.
[21] They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me
vinegar to drink.
[22] Let their table become a snare before them:
and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.
[23] Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins
continually to shake.
[24] Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy
wrathful anger take hold of them.
[25] Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their
tents.
[26] For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the
grief of those whom thou hast wounded.
[27] Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy
righteousness.
[28] Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be
written with the righteous.
Mark.3[ 5] And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts,
he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and
his hand was restored whole as the other.
--------------------
So because you will not hear:
Isa.66 [4 ] I
also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon
them; because when I called, none did answer ; when I spake , they
did not hear: but they did evil before
mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
Prov.1: [ 23] Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out
my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
[24] Because I have called, and ye refused;
I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
[25] But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
[26 ] I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your
fear cometh;
[27] When your fear cometh as desolation, and your
destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
[28] Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer;
they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
[29] For that they
hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of Yehovah:
[30] They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
[31] Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way,
and be filled with their own devices.
[32] For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the
prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
[33] But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell
safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
Rom.1: [19]
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
[20] For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are
clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal
power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
[21] Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God,
neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish
heart was darkened.
[22] Professing themselves to be wise, they
became fools,
[23] And changed the glory of the uncorruptible
God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
[24] Wherefore God also gave them up to
uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour
their own bodies between themselves:
[25] Who changed the truth of God into a lie,
and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
[26] For this cause God gave them up unto
vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that
which is against nature:
[27] And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman,
burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is
unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence
of their error which was meet.
[28] And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind , to do those things which are not convenient;
[29] Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness,
covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity;
whisperers,
[30] Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors
of evil things, disobedient to parents,
[31] Without understanding, covenantbreakers,
without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
[32] Who knowing the judgment of God , that they which commit such things are worthy of
death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
-----------------------
"They, the
people have shut their eyes, ears and mind to God and His Word"
There are many more verses
which I will not read today. I hope you read them. Don’t be like them that
disobeyed God of Israel.
Jer.7 [16] Therefore pray not thou for this
people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to
me: for I will not hear thee.
[27]
Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but
they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt
also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.
Jer.11 [11] Therefore thus saith Yehovah, Behold, I will bring evil upon
them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto
me, I will not hearken unto them.
[14]
Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for
them: for I will not hear them in the time that they
cry unto me for their trouble.
Jer.13 [11] For as the girdle cleaveth to the
loins of a man, so have I caused to cleave unto me the whole house of Israel
and the whole house of Judah, saith Yehovah; that they might be unto me for a
people, and for a name, and for a praise, and for a glory: but they would not hear.
[17]
But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall
weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run
down with tears, because Yehovah's flock is carried
away captive.
Jer.14 [12] When they fast, I will not hear their
cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept
them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the
pestilence.
Jer.16 [12] And ye have done worse than your
fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the
imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me:
Jer.17 [23] But they obeyed not,
neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not
hear, nor receive instruction.
[27]
But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at
the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day;
then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces
of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.
Jer.19 [15] Thus saith Yehovah of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will
bring upon this city and upon all her towns all the evil that I have pronounced
against it, because they have hardened their necks,
that they might not hear my words.
Jer.22 [5] But if ye will not hear these words, I
swear by myself, saith Yehovah, that this house shall become a desolation.
[21]
I spake unto thee in thy prosperity; but thou saidst,
I will not hear. This hath been thy manner
from thy youth, that thou obeyedst
not my voice.
Jer.25 [3] From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon
king of Judah, even unto this day, that is the three and twentieth year, the
word of Yehovah hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and
speaking; but ye have not hearkened.
[4]
And Yehovah hath sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and
sending them; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear.
[7]
Yet ye have not hearkened unto me, saith
Yehovah; that ye might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands to your
own hurt.
[8]
Therefore thus saith Yehovah of hosts; Because ye have
not heard my words,
[9]
Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith Yehovah, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will
bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against
all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an
astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations.
Jer.26 [4] And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith
Yehovah; If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set
before you,
[5]
To hearken to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I sent unto you, both
rising up early, and sending them, but ye have not
hearkened;
Jer.29 [19] Because they have not hearkened to
my words, saith Yehovah, which I sent unto them by my servants the
prophets, rising up early and sending them; but ye
would not hear ,
saith Yehovah.
Jer.32 [33] And they have turned unto me the back,
and not the face: though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet
they have not hear kened to receive instruction.
Jer.34 [17] Therefore thus saith Yehovah; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming
liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour:
behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith Yehovah, to the sword, to the
pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the
kingdoms of the earth
.
Jer.35 [16] Because the sons of Jonadab
the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of
their father, which he commanded them; but this
people hath not hearkened unto me:
[17]
Therefore thus saith Yehovah God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will
bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I
have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto
them, but they have not answered.
Jer.36 [25] Nevertheless Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah had made
intercession to the king that he would not burn the roll: but he would not hear them.
Jer.38 [15] Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I
declare it unto thee, wilt thou not surely put me to death? and
if I give thee counsel, wilt thou not hearken unto me?
Jer.44 [16] As for the word that thou hast spoken
unto us in the name of Yehovah, we will not hearken
unto thee.
Ezek.3 [7] But the
house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me:
for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.
Ezek.20 [8] But they rebelled against me, and
would not hear ken unto me: they did not
every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake
the idols of Egypt: then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them to
accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.
[39]
As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord Yehovah; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my
holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols.
Hos.9 [17] My God will cast them away, because
they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the
nations.
Amos.5 [23] Take thou away from me the
noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.
Mic.3 [4] Then shall they cry unto Yehovah, but he
will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they
have behaved themselves ill in their doings.
Zech.1 [4] Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have
cried, saying, Thus saith Yehovah of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways,
and from your evil doings: but they did not hear,
nor hearken unto me, saith Yehovah.
Mal.2 [2] If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart,
to give glory unto my name, saith Yehovah of hosts, I will even send a curse
upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already,
because ye do not lay it to heart.
--------------
As we can see in this short study,
people today, as of April 27, 2013 are exactly the same everywhere we go.
----------
I stopped here in my study because to thoroughly do it right, I
would have to write all the prophets writings here, may be a little long J
In conclusion:
Don’t add or diminish from the words of the God of Israel.
Read the word
Hear the word
Do the word
Please don’t be like all the examples
that are given above of people that shut their eyes, shut their ears and shut
their heart to the word of God.
