 Let’s pray

Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s.

Today is May 4th, 2013

May -- Maia's month - Maia is the goddess of spring, known as the great one, the daughter of Faunus, and wife of Vulcan

----------------------

Yehovah has His own calendar

We are now in the second month of God called Ziv / Zif, 23rd day

1Kgs.6[1] - ziv - brightness, (figuratively) the month of flowers

***Make sure you change your Judaism calendars – The 2nd month is not Iyyar as Judaism states, it is Ziv.

**Remember:

We were told to count the "Sabbaths" not omers

So we are counting

Today is the 5th Sabbath out of the seven Sabbaths we were told to count.

Judaism, some Messianics and some Protestant Messianics are counting the “omer”. They still cannot follow the scriptures correctly. They follow each other.

For your information: An "omer"עמר  is a "sheaf" of barley, a dry measure of 1/10 ephah  (about 2 liters)

---------------------

Here is where it says to count Sabbaths Lev.23 [15]

Simple isn’t it?

---------------

Here is Yehovah’s Spring Calendar for 2013

**Remember, This coming Feast has 3 names:

 Feast of Weeks, Hag Sh'vu-ot - חַג שָׁבֻעֹת

Feast of Harvest (wheat) Hag ha katseer - חַג הַקָּצִיר

Pentecost πεντηκοστή - pentēkoste

--------------

This feast is 50 days from First Fruits and the resurrection of Messiah:

 “Offering time”

From slaves in Egypt to the people of God

From the receiving of Torah / Law, to the receiving the Holy Spirit

How will you behave yourselves these 50 days? (Physically and Spiritually)

Remember

The weekly Sabbath, Saturday May 18th

The Feast of Weeks, a Sabbath is May 19th, Sunday

This Feast is always on the 1st day of the week known as Sunday

(There are 2 Sabbaths in a row)

Today's topic

Sin - the transgression of the law

Presumptuous Sin and Ignorant Sin

Children of God verses Children of the devil

Sinning presumptuously – Almost all of the time, no forgiveness

Only God knows the heart – don’t try it! There might remain no more sacrifice for presumptuously sins.

Sinning ignorantly – a chance to repent, bring an offering, you will be forgiven - Sacrifices in the Bible were only for ignorant sins, not for presumptuous sins, as you see.

------------------------------------------

Back on February 16, 2013 I gave this study below and I see some people may not have digested it.

The subject was entitled:

What is a salvation issue?

In other words,

What makes your salvation void?

Answer: any SIN

http://oneinmessiah.net/WhatAreSalvationIssues2162013.htm

Please review this study if you haven’t already

-------------------------

There are many examples in the Bible of people that have sinned presumptuously, that I will not be able to go over because time doesn’t allow. You will have to look them up yourself.

Presumptuous sin takes comes in many forms that you may not recognize.

If you go after other God’s besides the God of Israel you are doing it willingly, presumptuously.

-----------------

You need to recognize in the Scriptures when presumptuous sin is being discussed and ignorant sin is being discussed. This is not difficult if you have a Torah mindset.

Let’s discuss SIN by just going through Torah

Presumptuous Sin and Ignorant Sin, we can discern this, can you?

Exod.21[14] But if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbour, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.

Lev.4[1] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of Yehovah concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:

[3] If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto Yehovah for a sin offering.
[4] And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before Yehovah; and shall lay his hand upon the bullock's head, and kill the bullock before Yehovah.
[5] And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock's blood, and bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation:
[6] And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before Yehovah, before the vail of the sanctuary.
[7] And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before Yehovah, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation: and shall pour all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
[8] And he shall take off from it all the fat of the bullock for the sin offering; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
[9] And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away,
[10] As it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering.
[11] And the skin of the bullock, and all his flesh, with his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung,
[12] Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.

[13] And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of Yehovah concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;
[14] When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.
[15] And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before Yehovah: and the bullock shall be killed before Yehovah.
[16] And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bullock's blood to the tabernacle of the congregation:
[17] And the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before Yehovah, even before the vail.
[18] And he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before Yehovah, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
[19] And he shall take all his fat from him, and burn it upon the altar.
[20] And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.
[21] And he shall carry forth the bullock without the camp, and burn him as he burned the first bullock: it is a sin offering for the congregation

[22] When a ruler hath sinned, and done somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of Yehovah his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;
[23] Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish:
[24] And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before Yehovah: it is a sin offering.
[25] And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering.
[26] And he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall make an atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

[27] And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of Yehovah concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;
[28] Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.
[29] And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.
[30] And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.
[31] And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto Yehovah; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.
[32] And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.
[33] And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering
[34] And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar:
[35] And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto Yehovah: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

Lev.5

[1] And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.

[2] Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.
[3] Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness it be that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty.
[4] Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these.
[5] And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing:
[6] And he shall bring his trespass offering unto Yehovah for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.
[7] And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto Yehovah; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.
[8] And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide it asunder:
[9] And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin offering.
[10] And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the manner: and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.
[11] But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering.
[12] Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto Yehovah: it is a sin offering.
[13] And the priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him: and the remnant shall be the priest's, as a meat offering.

[14] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
[15] If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of Yehovah; then he shall bring for his trespass unto Yehovah a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering:
[16] And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.

17] And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of Yehovah; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
[18] And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wist it not, and it shall be forgiven him.
[19] It is a trespass offering: he hath certainly trespassed against Yehovah.

Num.14[44] But they presumed to go up unto the hill top: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of Yehovah, and Moses, departed not out of the camp. [45] Then the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites which dwelt in that hill, and smote them, and discomfited them, even unto Hormah.

Num.15 [15] One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before Yehovah.
[16] One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

[17] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
[18] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you,
[19] Then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall offer up an heave offering unto Yehovah.

[20] Ye shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough for an heave offering: as ye do the heave offering of the threshingfloor, so shall ye heave it.
[21] Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto Yehovah an heave offering in your generations.
[22] And if ye have erred, and not observed all these commandments, which Yehovah hath spoken unto Moses,
[23] Even all that Yehovah hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that Yehovah commanded Moses, and henceforward among your generations;
[24] Then it shall be, if ought be committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour unto Yehovah, with his meat offering, and his drink offering, according to the manner, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering.
[25] And the priest shall make an atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it is ignorance: and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto Yehovah, and their sin offering before Yehovah, for their ignorance:
[26] And it shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; seeing all the people were in ignorance.

[27] And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering.

[28] And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before Yehovah, to make an atonement for him;

and it shall be forgiven him.

[29] Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.

[30] But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth Yehovah; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
[31] Because he hath despised the word of Yehovah, and hath broken his
commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.

[32] And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.
[33] And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.
[34] And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him.
[35] And Yehovah said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.
[36] And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as Yehovah commanded Moses.

Deut.1[42] And Yehovah said unto me, Say unto them, Go not up, neither fight; for I am not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemies.
[43] So I spake unto you; and ye would not hear, but rebelled against the commandment of Yehovah, and went presumptuously up into the hill.
[44] And the Amorites, which dwelt in that mountain, came out against you, and chased you, as bees do, and destroyed you in Seir, even unto Hormah.
[45] And ye returned and wept before Yehovah; but Yehovah would not hearken to your voice, nor give ear unto you.
[46] So ye abode in Kadesh many days, according unto the days that ye abode there.

Deut.17[8] If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within thy gates: then shalt thou arise, and get thee up into the place which Yehovah thy God shall choose;
[9] And thou shalt come unto the priests the Levites, and unto the judge that shall be in those days, and inquire; and they shall shew thee the sentence of judgment:
[10] And thou shalt do according to the sentence, which they of that place which Yehovah shall choose shall shew thee; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee:
[11] According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline from the sentence which they shall shew thee, to the right hand, nor to the left.

[12] And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before Yehovah thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.

[13] And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously

Deut.18

[20] But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
[21] And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which Yehovah hath not spoken?
[22] When a prophet speaketh in the name of Yehovah, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which Yehovah hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

Deut.19

[1] When Yehovah thy God hath cut off the nations, whose land Yehovah thy God giveth thee, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their cities, and in their houses;
[2] Thou shalt separate three cities for thee in the midst of thy land, which Yehovah thy God giveth thee to possess it.
[3] Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which Yehovah thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may flee thither.
[4] And this is the case of the slayer, which shall flee thither, that he may live: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past;
[5] As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall flee unto one of those cities, and live:
[6] Lest the avenger of the blood pursue the slayer, while his heart is hot, and overtake him, because the way is long, and slay him; whereas he was not worthy of death, inasmuch as he hated him not in time past.
[7] Wherefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt separate three cities for thee.

In the letter to the Hebrews, Apostle Paul shows his Torah mindset pertaining to willful sin.

Heb.10

[23] Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
[24] And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
[25] Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

[26] For if we sin wilfully – (Presumptuously)

after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
[27] But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
[28] He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
[29] Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
[30] For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
[31] It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Other verses pertaining to presumptuous and ignorant sin

Ignorant Sin - 1John.2[1] My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Yeshua the Messiah the righteous:[2] And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world

David said: - Pss.19[13] Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

1John.5[16] If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death.(Ignorant sin)

There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.(Presumptuous sin)

[17] All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. (Ignorant sin)

[18] We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not (presumptuously);

but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

1John.3 [4] Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law:

for sin is the transgression of the law.

[5] And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

[6] Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not –

presumptuous sin: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

[7] Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

[8] He that committeth (presumptuous ) sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

[9] Whosoever is born of God doth not commit (presumptuous) sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

[10] In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

---------------------------

Please read Ezekiel chapters 3, 18 and 33

You can see in these chapters that you can lose your salvation if you sin presumptuously.

Ezek.18[4] Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, (presumptuously) it shall die.

[20] The soul that sinneth, (presumptuously) it shall die.

The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

No generational curses above

-------------------------------------------------------------

No law – No Transgression

No knowledge between good and evil

Rom.4[15]… for where no law is, there is no transgression.

Deut.1[39] Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.

Jonah.4[11] And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?

In closing:

Don’t sin presumptuously

You may not find a place of repentance as Esau

Heb. 12 [14] Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
[15] Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

[16] Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

[17] For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing,

he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
