Shabbat Shalom

-----------

Let’s Pray

-------------

My ministry is to bring up topics in the Bible that have never been discussed, mentioned or deleted in your life that God wants you to know.

-------------

Today we use the Gregorian calendar (Pope Gregory, 1500's) – August 14, 2010

--------------

We restore the calendar of God

We are now in the 3rd day of the 6th month of God

Change your Judaism calendars; Judaism is wrong again by calling the 6th month Elul, no scripture to back that up.

------------

All my studies may be viewed at:

You can read them on my site at http://oneinmessiah.net/subjects.htm

You can hear them on my site at http://oneinmessiah.net/av.htm

You can see them on my site at http://oneinmessiah.net/videoFiles.htm

I would love to come and give a talk at your congregation, school or home on the Jewish / Hebrew roots of your faith from the Scriptures, not Judaism.

I explain the Sabbath, the 7th day, each week

This is how simple it is:

Exod. 20

[8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

[10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God:

in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

 ------------

Deut. 5

[12] Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as Yehovah thy God hath commanded thee.
[13] Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:
[14] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.

[15] And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that Yehovah thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore Yehovah thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
------------

Lev. 23

[3] Six days shall work be done:

but

the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an holy convocation;

ye shall do no work therein:

it is the Sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.

--------

Isa. 58 [13] If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of Yehovah, honourable; and shalt honour him,

1 - not doing thine own ways,

2 - nor finding thine own pleasure,

3 - nor speaking thine own words:

[14] Then shalt thou delight thyself in Yehovah; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of Yehovah hath spoken it.

------------------------

Buying and selling is evil on the Sabbath

Neh. 13 [16] There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the Sabbath unto the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem.

[17] Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, what evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the Sabbath day?

------------------------

We read from law and the prophets every Sabbath like they did in the Book of Acts

60 times in the Gospels and letters it uses the word Sabbath!

Today's Topic

I hear each week how brothers and sisters keep arguing with their same ungodly relatives and friends about scripture, a waste of time and unprofitable.

Then they tell me they have a headache and no peace.

The difference between reasoning and debating

Debate - øåÌá /øéá - rı̂yb  /  rûb - to strive, contend (with words), to make complaint, to quarrel, to contend against

Reason - éëç - yâkach - A primitive root; to be right (correct); causatively to decide, justify or convict: - appoint, chasten, convince, correct, dispute, judge, maintain, plead, reason (together), rebuke, reprove

Isa.1 [18] Come now, and let us reason together, saith Yehovah: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

---------------

Let's go over a few scriptures:

Should we debate or reason with unbelievers?

We should reason, expound and testify to honest hearts the Father is drawing to Messiah "only".

This is very important to remember:

John 6 [44] No man (or woman) can come to me (Messiah), except the Father which hath sent me (Messiah) draw him: and I (Messiah) will raise him up at the last day.

--------------------

Paul taught:

Tit.3 [9] But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law ; for they are unprofitable and vain.

[10] A man that is an heretic after the first and second admonition reject; [11] Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

Heretic - schismatic, factious (dissension), a follower of a false doctrine

Schism - division or disunion, esp. into mutually opposed parties.

A formal division within, or separation from, a church or religious body over some doctrinal difference

----------------

2 Tim. 2 [22] Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

[23] But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

[24] And the servant of the Lord must not strive;

but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient

[25] In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

[26] And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
------------------

1 Tim. 1 [3] As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,

[4] Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

[14] Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

-----------------------------------

Debating, usually is not good

Rom. 1 [27] And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
[28] And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

[29] Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,[30] Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
[31] Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
[32] Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

2 Cor. 12 [20] For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:[21 ] And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.

Paul reasoned

Acts 17 [2] And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,[3 ] Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.

Acts 18 [1] After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth;[2 ] And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them.
[3] And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers.[4] And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

[18] And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and then took his leave of the brethren, and sailed thence into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.[19 ] And he came to Ephesus, and left them there: but he himself entered into the synagogue, and reasoned with the Jews.

Acts 24 [1] And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.
[2] And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,
[3] We accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness.
[4] Notwithstanding, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I pray thee that thou wouldest hear us of thy clemency a few words.
[5] For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:
[6] Who also hath gone about to profane the temple: whom we took, and would have judged according to our law.
[7] But the chief captain Lysias came upon us, and with great violence took him away out of our hands,
[8] Commanding his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse him.
[9] And the Jews also assented, saying that these things were so.
[10] Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
[11] Because that thou mayest understand, that there are yet but twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem for to worship.
[12] And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:
[13] Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.
[14] But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
[15] And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
[16] And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.
[17] Now after many years I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings.
[18] Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult.
[19] Who ought to have been here before thee, and object, if they had ought against me.
[20] Or else let these same here say, if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood before the council,
[21] Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.
[22] And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.
[23] And he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have liberty, and that he should forbid none of his acquaintance to minister or come unto him.
[24] And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.

[25] And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.

Acts 28 [23] And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.

Satan is trying to replace the God of Israel with

Another Yeshua / Jesus - Another Gospel - Another Spirit

2 Cor. 11 [4] For if he that cometh preacheth another Yeshua / Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted,ye might well bear with him. (Why would you do this?)

-------------------------

Gal. 1 [6] I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Messiah / Christ unto another gospel:

[7] Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Messiah / Christ.

[8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

[9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

[10] For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Messiah / Christ.

[11] But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.[12] For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Yeshua the Messiah.

What don’t you understand about these scriptures?

Matt.10 [34] Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. [35] For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

Mic.7 [6] For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.

Matt.10 [21] And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.[22 ] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Mark 13 [12] Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.[13 ] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Luke 21 [16] And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. [17] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.[18 ] But there shall not an hair of your head perish.[ 19] In your patience possess ye your souls.

John 16 [1] These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.

[2] They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea , the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

Should we fellowship with unbelievers or "anti-Messiah" people?

Neither give place to the devil

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers : for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?

for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

1 Corinthians 10:20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists ; whereby we know that it is the last time. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that ( Yeshua is the Messiah ) Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that ( Yeshua the Messiah ) Jesus Christ is come in the flesh (of Israel ). This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

9 - Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

10 - If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

11 - For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

John 3 [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

[36] He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

-------------

It is not Lashon Hara – The Evil Tongue to name people who are evil and pervert the Word of God.

Rom. 16 [17] Now I beseech you, brethren , mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them .

2 Thes .3 [14] And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man , and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

1Tim. 5 [20] Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

Just to name a few people to show it is scriptural to name evil people.

Rom. 9 [13] As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated .

Num. 16 [1] Now Korah , the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram , the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben,

1Tim. 1 [19] Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:[20] Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander ; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.

2Tim. 4 [14] Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:

3 John 1 [9] I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.[10] Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.

------------------

In closing:

Remember don’t try to open your own doors of conversation with people the Father is not drawing to Messiah (a very unprofitable time in God)

Matt.7 [6] Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Separate Yourselves

Havdalah

Havdalah is Hebrew for separation. It refers to separating the sacred from the ordinary (also with people), the sacred being the Sabbath day and the ordinary being the other days of the week.

The Havdalah service formally ends the Sabbath day and ushers in the regular week when we are once again engaged in our worldly concerns.

We live in a world of opposites. At the end of the Sabbath we are acutely aware of the tensions between these worlds, being the spiritual and the carnal worlds.

James said:

1: [27] Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Yeshua said:

John 16 [33] These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace.

In the world ye shall have tribulation:

but be of good cheer;

I have overcome the world.
