Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the
1500’s
August 29, 2015
August -- Augustus Caesar's month
Latin Augustus
"Augustus"
Latin Augustus mensis "month of
Augustus"
Latin sextilis mensis "sixth
month"
Sextilis had 30 days,
until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 31 days
long.
Augustus Caesar clarified and completed the calendar reform
of Julius Caesar. In the process, he also renamed this month after himself.
-----------------
We acknowledge God’s calendar
We are now in the 6th month of God called Elul, the 13th
day
These 2 verses below should prove Elul
Neh. 6 [15] So the wall was
finished in the twenty
and fifth day of the month Elul, אֱלוּל in fifty and two days

First I will explain
the Sabbath again
Yeshua said:
Mark
2 [27]
The Sabbath was made for man
Yeshua is Lord also of the Sabbath
Matt.24 [20] in the
end times :
But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter,
neither on the sabbath day:
This is how simple
it is:
The Sabbath is the
4th Commandment (of the 10 commandments), pertaining to the covenant given to
us at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month, Sivan
Remember the 4th commandment
Exod. 20 [8]
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
[10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God:
in it thou shalt not do any work,
thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor
thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy
gates:
[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth,
the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
זכר Remember

1 - not doing thine own ways,
2 - nor finding thine own pleasure,
3 - nor speaking thine own words:
[14] Then shalt thou delight thyself in Yehovah; and I will cause thee to
ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of
Jacob thy father: for the mouth of Yehovah hath spoken
it.
------------
Lev. 23 [3] Six days shall
work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of
rest, an "holy
convocation";
ye shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of Yehovah in
all your dwellings.
The Sabbath is a "holy convocation"
מקרא miqra: convocation, convoking, reading, a calling
together, sacred assembly, something called out, that is, a public meeting
(the act, the persons, or the place); also a rehearsal

Buying and selling is evil on the Sabbath
Neh. 13 [16] There dwelt
men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner
of ware, and sold on the Sabbath unto the children of
Judah, and in Jerusalem.
[17] Then I contended with the nobles of
Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is
this that ye do, and profane the Sabbath day?
60 times in
the Gospels and letters it uses the word Sabbath!

Today’s Topic:
A review of the Days
of Noah and the 6 day creation
Gen.1
[31]
And God saw every thing that he had made, and,
behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Gen.2 - Sabbath
[1]
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
[2] And on
the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the
seventh day from all his work which he had made.
[3] And God
blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had
rested from all his work which God created and made.
Luke17
[26] And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
[27] They did eat, they drank,
they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed
them all.
Days of Lot
[28] Likewise also as it was in the
days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted,
they builded;
[29] But the same day that Lot
went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them
all.
[30] Even thus shall it be in the day
when the Son of man is revealed.
-----------
Let’s explore the
Days of Noah
Gen.5
[28] And Lamech
lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
[29] And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us
concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which Yehovah hath cursed.
[30] And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five
hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
[31] And all the days of Lamech were seven
hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
[32] And Noah
was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
Gen.6
[5] And Yehivah
saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every
imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
[6] And it repented Yehovah that he had made
man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
[7] And Yehovah said, I will destroy man whom
I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the
creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth
me that I have made them.
[8]
But Noah found grace in the eyes of Yehovah.
[9] These are the generations of Noah:
Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
[10] And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
[11] The earth also was corrupt before
God, and the earth was filled with violence.
[12] And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all
flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
[13] And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for
the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy
them with the earth.
[14] Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt
thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and
without with pitch.
[15] And this is the fashion which thou shalt
make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of
it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.
[16] A window shalt thou make to the ark, and
in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door
of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with
lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.
[17] And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth,
to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
[18] But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife,
and thy sons' wives with thee.
[19] And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with
thee; they shall be male and female.
[20] Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every
creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto
thee, to keep them alive.
[21] And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee,
and for them.
[22] Thus did Noah; according to all
that God commanded him, so did he.
Gen.7
[1]
And Yehovah said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in
this generation.
[2] Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and
of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
[3] Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep
seed alive upon the face of all the earth.
[4] For yet seven days, and I will cause
it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living
substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
[5] And Noah did according unto all
that Yehovah commanded him.
[6] And Noah was six hundred years old when
the flood of waters was upon the earth.
[7] And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives
with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
[8] Of clean beasts, and of beasts that
are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
[9] There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the
female, as God had commanded Noah.
[10] And it came to pass after seven days, that
the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
[11] In the
six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth
day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken
up, and the windows of heaven were opened. [12] And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
[13] In the selfsame day entered Noah,
and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the
three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;
[14] They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after
their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth
upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of
every sort.
[15] And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh,
wherein is the breath of life.
[16] And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God
had commanded him: and Yehovah shut him in.
[17] And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters
increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.
[18] And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the
earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.
[19] And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the
high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were
covered.
[20] Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains
were covered.
[21] And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of
cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth
upon the earth, and every man:
[22] All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in
the dry land, died.
[23] And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of
the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the
heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive,
and they that were with him in the ark.
[24] And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.
Gen.8
[1]
And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with
him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;
[2] The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were
stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;
[3] And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after
the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.
[4] And the
ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month,
upon the mountains of Ararat.
Let’s
review:
The 6 day creation,
man was created on the 6th day
six
hundredth year of Noah's life
The ark rested in the seventh month, on the
seventeenth day of the month
Seventh month
7 = Sabbath
7 = Seventh month of God, ha ethanim
Seventeenth day of the month is just about in
the middle of the Feast of tabernacles
Feast of
tabernacles - the 15th day of

Gen.8 - A Real Happy New Year, new life
[13]
And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first
month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off
the earth:
Gen.9 [29] And all the days of Noah were nine
hundred and fifty years: and he died.
Nine hundred and fifty years? I’ll have to think this over…
---------------
Let’s review one of Peter’s letters:
2Pet.3
[1] This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto
you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
[2] That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the
holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
[3] Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers,
walking after their own lusts,
[4] And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for
since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the
beginning of the creation.
[5] For this they willingly are
ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth
standing out of the water and(and then) in the water:
[6] Whereby the world that then
was, being overflowed with water, perished: (Noah’s
time)
[7] But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day
of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
[8] But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing,
that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one
day.
[9] The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count
slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish,
but that all should come to repentance.
[10] But the day of
the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which
the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt
with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be
burned up.
[11] Seeing then that all these
things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy
conversation and godliness,
[12] Looking for and hasting unto
the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be
dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
[13] Nevertheless
we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
[14] Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such
things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
[15] And account that the longsuffering of our Lord
is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom
given unto him hath written unto you;
[16] As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in
which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and
unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own
destruction.
[17] Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware
lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
[18] But grow
in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour
Yeshua the Messiah.
To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
------------
In conclusion:
Fall feast and holy days
***Remember the 1st day, the 10th day and the 15th and 22nd days of ha ethanim are all Sabbaths
The Memory of
trumpets – 1st of ha Ethanim, the 7th month
Day of Atonement –
1oth of ha Ethanim, the 7th
month
Feast of
Tabernacles - 15th to the 21 of ha Ethanim, the 7th
month
The last great Day
- the 22nd of ha Ethanim, the 7th
month
If Yeshua, during his first coming, fulfilled
the Spring feasts and holy days exactly to the day in scripture, it seems a
reasonable assumption to conclude that the second coming of Yeshua as the Almighty will be fulfilled
during the future Fall feast and holy days in someone’s lifetime.
We believe the
second coming of Messiah Yeshua as the Almighty will be in the seventh
month, ha Ethanim
in someone’s lifetime in the future, we are just observing these days as a
rehearsal at this time, in 2015.
We
review the past; we observe the present and look ahead to the future to
tabernacle with God forever!
Well this is enough to contemplate for now – Shabbat
Shalom
