שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם
Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s
Today is November 24, 2018 - in the 21 Century
November -- the ninth month - now it is the 11th month
Middle English Novembre
Latin November
Latin Novembris mensis "ninth month"
Novembris had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 30 days long.
Yehovah has His own calendar:
We are now in the ninth month called Chislev day 15 כִסְלֵו
Zech.7 [1] And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of Yehovah came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu;

SEASON’S BEATINGS is a new term we see on the news
Black Friday shoppers throw punches in Walmart, wrestle TVs in merch scrum - Others wrestled TVs as they went on sale
Two men brawled in the aisle of a Walmart on Thanksgiving evening.
It’s not clear what the tussle was over, but women jumped in and cursed them out.
There was a shooting at an Alabama mall.
A
21-year-old man killed by an officer at a mall in Alabama on Thanksgiving night
"likely did not fire" the shots that wounded two people and sent
terrified shoppers running for cover, police said.
The
shooting at the Riverchase Galleria in Hoover happened Thursday night, one of the year's busiest shopping
days.

Today’s Topic:
Seek the Kingdom of Heaven, the Kingdom of God
I noticed 70 matches for
the “Kingdom of God” only in the Gospels and letters
Also I noticed 33 matches for the “Kingdom of Heaven” only in the
Gospels and letters
מַמְלָכָהnoun common feminine singular construct suffix 3rd person masculine singular
מַלְכוּת הָאֱלֹהִים
Kingdom of God
This morning I just went through the Gospel of
Matthew to understand the importance of the “Kingdom of Heaven”.
Here are a few verses:
[34]
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for
the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
[1]
At that time Yeshua went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck
the ears of corn, and to eat.
[2] But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold,
thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the Sabbath day.
[3]
But Yeshua said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred,
and they that were with him;
[4] How he entered into the
house of God, and did eat the shewbread,
which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but
only for the priests?
[5] Or have ye not read in the
law, how that on the sabbath days the
priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless?
[6]
But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.
[7] But if ye had known what
this meaneth,
I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would
not have condemned the guiltless.
[8]
For the Son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath day.
[9]
And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue:
[10] And, behold, there was a
man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.
[11]
And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one
sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not
lay hold on it, and lift it out?
[12] How much then is a man
better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
[13] Then saith he to the man,
Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.
[14] Then the Pharisees went out, and held
a council against him, how they might destroy him.
[15]
But when Yeshua knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him,
and he healed them all;
[16] And charged them that they
should not make him known:
[17] That it might be fulfilled
which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,
[18] Behold my servant, whom I
have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit
upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
[19] He shall not strive, nor
cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.
[20] A bruised reed shall he not
break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto
victory.
[21] And in his name shall the
Gentiles trust.
[22]
Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and Yeshua healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb
both spake and saw.
[23]
And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?
[24] But when the Pharisees heard it, they
said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
[25]
And Yeshua knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is
brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not
stand:[26] And if Satan cast out
Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
[27]
And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
[28]
But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come
unto you.
[29]
Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods,
except he first bind the strong man? and then he will
spoil his house.
[30] He that is not with me is
against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
[31] Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy
against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
[32] And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy
Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the
world to come.
Matt.18 [23] Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take
account of his servants.
[24] And when he had begun to
reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.
[25] But forasmuch as he had not
to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all
that he had, and payment to be made.
[26] The servant therefore fell
down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay
thee all.
[27] Then the lord of that
servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.
[28] But the same servant went
out, and found one of his fellowservants,
which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the
throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.
[29] And his fellowservant fell down at
his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee
all.
[30] And he would not: but went
and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.
[31] So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all
that was done.
[32] Then his lord, after that
he had called him, said unto him, O
thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:
[33] Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I
had pity on thee?
[34] And his lord was wroth,
and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto
him.
[35] So likewise shall my heavenly Father
do also unto you, if ye from
your hearts forgive not everyone his brother their trespasses.
[1] For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire laborers into his
vineyard.
[2] And when he had agreed with
the laborers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
[3] And he went out about the
third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
[4] And said unto them; Go ye
also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went
their way.
[5] Again he went out about the
sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
[6] And about the eleventh hour
he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand
ye here all the day idle?
[7] They say unto him, because
no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye
receive.
[8] So when even was come, the
lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the laborers, and give them their hire, beginning from
the last unto the first.
[9] And when they came that were
hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
[10] But when the first came,
they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received
every man a penny.
[11] And when they had received
it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
[12] Saying, These last have
wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne
the burden and heat of the day.
[13]
But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not
thou agree with me for a penny?
[14] Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
[15] Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with
mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
[16] So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be
called, but few chosen.
Matt.21 [28]
… A certain man had two sons; and he
came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.
[29] He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.
[30] And he came to the second,
and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.
[31] Whether of them twain did
the will of his father? They say unto him, The first.
Yeshua saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the
kingdom of God before you.
[1]
And Yeshua answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
[2] The kingdom of heaven is like unto a
certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
[3]
And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and
they would not come.
[4] Again, he sent forth other
servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my
dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto
the marriage.
[5] But they made light of it,
and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
[6] And the remnant took his
servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
[7] But when the king heard
thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those
murderers, and burned up their city.
[8] Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
[9] Go ye therefore into the
highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
[10] So those servants went out
into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad
and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
[11] And when the king came in
to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
[12] And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
[13] Then said the king to the
servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer
darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
[14] For many are called, but
few are chosen.
[1]
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their
lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
[2] And five of them were wise,
and five were foolish.
[3] They that were foolish took
their lamps, and took no oil with them:
[4] But the wise took oil in
their vessels with their lamps.
[5] While the bridegroom
tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
[6] And at midnight there was a
cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
[7] Then all those virgins
arose, and trimmed their lamps.
[8] And the foolish said unto
the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
[9] But the wise answered,
saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that
sell, and buy for yourselves.
[10] And while they went to buy,
the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage:
and the door was shut.
[11] Afterward came also the
other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
[12] But he answered and said,
Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
[13] Watch therefore, for ye
know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
[14] For the kingdom of heaven
is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and
delivered unto them his goods.
[15] And unto one he gave five
talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his
several ability; and straightway took his journey.
[16] Then he that had received the
five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
[17] And likewise he that had
received two, he also gained other two.
[18] But he that had received
one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.
[19] After a long time the lord
of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
[20] And so he that had received
five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
[21] His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few
things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
[22] He also that had received
two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two
talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
[23] His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I
will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
[24] Then he which had received
the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard
man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
[25] And I was afraid, and went
and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
[26] His lord answered and said
unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I
sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
[27] Thou oughtest therefore to have
put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received
mine own with usury.
[28] Take therefore the talent
from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
[29] For unto every one that
hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not
shall be taken away even that which he hath.
[30] And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness:
there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Be safe, cyber Monday and Xmas is coming
[1]
I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
[2] Every day
will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
[3] Great is Yehovah,
and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
[4] One
generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
[5] I will
speak of the glorious honor of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
[6] And men
shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.
[7] They shall
abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy
righteousness.
[8] Yehovah is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
[9] Yehovah is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
[10] All thy
works shall praise thee, Yehovah;
and thy saints shall bless thee.
[11] They shall
speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;
[12] To make known to the sons of men his mighty
acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
[13]
Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all
generations.
[14] Yehovah upholdeth all that fall,
and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.
[15]
The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in
due season.
[16]
Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
[17] Yehovah is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
[18] Yehovah is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
[19]
He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save
them.
[20] Yehovah preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.
[21]
My mouth shall speak the praise of Yehovah: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
Luke.12 [15] And Yeshua said unto them, Take heed, and beware of
covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things
which he possesseth.
[16] And Yeshua spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich
man brought forth plentifully:
[17]
And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room
where to bestow my fruits?
[18]
And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I
bestow all my fruits and my goods.
[19]
And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
[20] But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be
required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
[21] So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
[22] And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat;
neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
[23]
The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
[24]
Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which
neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more
are ye better than the fowls?
[25]
And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
[26]
If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for
the rest?
[27]
Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say
unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
[28]
If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?
[29]
And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
[30]
For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
[31] But rather seek ye the
kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
[32]
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the
kingdom.
