Today is February 25, 2012
February: February used to be the last month of the Roman calendar. On 15th day
of the month was a Pagan festival of purification called Februa and so this month came to be known as Februa's month. The day before that, and the day after 13th was a holiday to honour Juno.
The
goddess Juno was the Queen of the Roman gods and goddesses, and also the goddess of women and marriage
Saturday—Saturn’s
day
Saturn is
the Roman and Italic God of agriculture. He is
believed to have ruled the earth during an age of happiness and virtue. (when was that?)
This day was called
dies Saturni, "Saturn's Day", by the ancient
Romans in honor of Saturn.
I digress…
----------------------------
Now some important deleted info of God
However we restore the calendar of God
We are now in the 12th
month of God called Adar àãø, 2nd
day
àãø Adar - A primitive root; to
expand, that is, be great or (figuratively) magnificent: - (become) glorious,
honorable. (A mantle, cloak)
Esth.8 [12] Upon one day
in all the provinces of king Ahasuerus, namely, upon
the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is
the month Adar.

/ March 2012)

I would
like to explain the Sabbath, the 7th day to you today
This is how simple it is:
The Sabbath is the 4th Commandment of the covenant given to us at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month, Sivan
Exod. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Ex. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
æëø Remember
zâkar - zaw-kar' - A primitive root; properly to mark (so as to be recognized), that is, to remember; by implication to mention; make mention of, be mindful, recount, record (-er), remember, make to be remembered, bring (call, come, keep, put) to (in) remembrance, still, think on, well.
[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
[10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God:
in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
[11]
For in six days Yehovah
made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh
day: wherefore Yehovah
blessed the sabbath
day, and hallowed it.
--------
Isa. 58 [13] If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of Yehovah, honourable; and shalt honour him,
1 - not doing thine own ways,
2 - nor finding thine own pleasure,
3 - nor speaking thine own words:
[14] Then shalt thou delight thyself in Yehovah; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of Yehovah hath spoken it.
------------
Lev. 23 [3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an "holy convocation"; ye shall do no work
therein: it is the Sabbath of Yehovah
in all your dwellings.
Dwelling îåùÑá môshâv - seat, assembly, dwelling-place, dwelling, your situation, location, (at) time of dwelling
------------
The Sabbath is a "holy convocation"
î÷øà miqra: convocation, convoking, reading, a calling together, sacred assembly, something called out, that is, a public meeting (the act, the persons, or the place); also a rehearsal
÷ãùÑ kodesh: a sacred place or thing; consecrated, dedicated, hallowed, holiness, saint, sanctuary, apartness, sacredness, separateness, apartness, sacredness, holiness
------------
Buying and selling is evil on the Sabbath
Neh. 13 [16] There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the sabbath unto the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem.
[17] Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, what evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the Sabbath day?

---------------
Let’s understand the Spring Feasts and Holy Days as we observe them in memorial as did the Apostles.
------
When did Yeshua die?
Date / Purpose /
Significance to the believer
The Spring Feasts of Yehovah were fulfilled by the Messiah's first coming!
Passover – Pesach ôÌÆñÇç
ha Aviv / Nisan 14 - Yeshua died on Thursday approximately 3:00 pm Matt:27:45 - 1st. day
Simply put:
We remember the
deliverance from Egyptian bondage - our last lives of sin.
An unblemished
firstborn male lamb was sacrificed and its blood poured on the altar.
A lamb was selected
for each family; four days before the lamb was to be slain (ha Aviv / Nisan 10) it was examined for
blemishes.
Yeshua also had a four-day examination period before the
religious leaders and was found without blemish.
Yeshua was and is the sacrificial lamb who
died for our sins.
On ha Aviv / Nisan 14
at the exact time the lamb was to be slain, Yeshua was slain.
-----
Feast of Unleavened Bread / Hag HaMatzot îÇöÌåÉú
ha Aviv / Nisan 15 is a Sabbath - 1st. night- 2nd day (Fri.)
Leaven symbolizes sin. Unleavened Bread speaks of
sanctification. God told the Jews to cleanse all leaven from their homes and
eat only unleavened bread, humble bread, matzo, for seven days, symbolizing a holy walk with Him.
Yeshua is the "Bread of
Life" without sin.
Yeshua was born in
Bethlehem.
In Hebrew, Bethlehem means house
of bread. áÌÅéú ìÈçÆí
Just as matzot is unleavened, (a sign of no
sin) so was the Messiah sinless.
This Feast falls on
the evening after Yeshua was put in the sepulcher.
ha
Aviv / Nisan
16 - a Sabbath - 2nd. night - 3nd. day (Sat.)
Day of First fruits / Bikkurim áÌÄëÌåÌøÄéí
ha Aviv / Nisan 17 - 3rd. night,
ha
Aviv / Nisan 17 - then as the sun did rise - Mark 16:2
Early the first day of the week, Sunday -Yeshua rose from the Dead which is 3 days and 3 nights later
The first of the
barley harvest was brought as an offering to the priest in the
Tabernacle/Temple. The priest would present the first of the harvest unto Yehovah by waving them back and forth. This reminded the
Hebrews that God gave them the land, and the harvest belonged to Him.
Yeshua's resurrection marked the beginning of
the harvest of souls.
John 12:23-24,32 shows Yeshua was likened to a grain of wheat falling to the
ground and dying to produce a great harvest.
[32] And I, if I be lifted up from the earth,
will draw all men unto me.
--------------
Yeshua rose on First fruits. He is the First fruits!
1 Cor. 15:20-23)
[20] But now is Messiah risen
from the dead, and become the firstfruits
of them that slept.
[21] For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of
the dead.
[22] For as in Adam all die, even so in Messiah shall all be made alive.
[23] But every man in his own order: Messiah the firstfruits; afterward they that are Messiah's at
his coming.
--
Pentecost - Fifty days later is the Feast of Weeks/Shavuot çÇâ ùÑÈáËòåÉú where the Holy Spirit empowered the believers.
In TaNaK – the Torah was given on Mount Sinai

The Spring Feasts of Yehovah
Lev. 23 [1] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of Yehovah,
which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
The Sabbath - [3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.
[4] These are the feasts of Yehovah, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.
[5] In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is Yehovah's passover.
[6]
And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread
unto Yehovah: seven days ye must
eat unleavened bread.
[7] In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye
shall do no servile work therein.
[8] But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah seven days: in the seventh day is an
holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
[9] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
[10] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
[11] And he shall wave the sheaf before Yehovah, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
[12]
And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an
he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto Yehovah.
[13] And the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine
flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto Yehovah for a sweet savour:
and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin.
[14] And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your God:
it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
[15] And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
[16] Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto Yehovah.
[17] Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto Yehovah.
[18] And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto Yehovah, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto Yehovah.
[19] Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings.
[20] And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits for a wave offering before Yehovah, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to Yehovah for the priest.
[21] And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
[22] And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I am Yehovah your God. àÂðÄé éÀäåÈä àÁìÉäÅéëÆí

Feast of Weeks is after the Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread and First Fruits
50 days later is:
Feast of Weeks – Pentecost in the 3rd Month Sivan
Reminder:
We will be counting "weeks" not omers.
An "omer" is a "sheaf" of barley
òîø omer - A dry measure of 1/10 ephah (about 2 liters)
-------------
This will be the first Sabbath of the seven Sabbaths we were told to count.
Lev.23 [15] And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath,
from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
[16] Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto Yehovah.
-----------
The morrow after the Sabbath is always the 1st day of the week (Sunday)
The morrow after the seventh Sabbath is fifty days from the First Fruits / (The Resurrection of Yeshua)
Then onward to the Feast of Weeks / Pentecost
Reminder: Feast of Weeks - (Sabbath) (Sunday) it will start in the evening before. (2 Sabbaths in a row)

Feasts of weeks – Pentecost observed
by the Apostles and disciples after the resurrection
Acts.2
[1] And when the day of Pentecost (Feast of Weeks) was fully come, they were all
with one accord in one place.
[2] And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty
wind, and it filled all
the house where they were sitting.
[3] And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it
sat upon each of them.
[4] And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak
with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
[5] And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every
nation under heaven.
[6] Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and
were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
[7] And they were all amazed and marvelled,
saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
[8] And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
[9] Parthians, and Medes,
and Elamites, and
the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
[10] Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in
Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and
proselytes,
[11] Cretes and
Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
[12] And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another,
What meaneth this?
[13] Others mocking said, These men
are full of new wine.
[14] But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and
said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this
known unto you, and hearken to my words:
[15] For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the
third hour of the day.
[16] But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
[17] And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God,I will
pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall
prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream
dreams:
[18] And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those
days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
[19] And I will shew
wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of
smoke:
[20] The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood,
before that great and notable day of Yehovah come:
[21] And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of
Yehovah shall
be saved.
Acts 20 [16] For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he
would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost, Feast
of weeks
1 Cor. 16 [8]
But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost,
