Shabbat Shalom
Let’s pray
--------------------------------------------
Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s,
September 23, 2017 - in the 21 Century
September - the seventh month – now the 9th month
Middle English septembre
Latin September
Latin septem "seven" + -ber (adj. suffix)
Latin september mensis "seventh month"
September had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 30 days long.
-----------------
We acknowledge God’s calendar
We are now in: 7th month called “ha Ethanim, 2nd day” not Tishri,
It is the 7th month, not new year, Rosh Hashanah
1 Kgs. 8 [2] And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month (ha) Ethanim, which is the seventh month.

---------------------
Today’s topic:
Sin, Atonement, Forgiveness – all through Yeshua the Messiah
Below are a few chapters pertaining to sin, Atonement and Forgiveness
Soon
a
Day, but NO Atonement
If you don't have the Messiah and His shed Blood
Rabbinical Judaism has tried to replace "the Blood Sacrifice" with fasting.
Judaism never talks about the "blood' that is needed on Yom Kippur, day of atonement.
I see "shadows" of Messiah
The Blood is mentioned in chapter 12 (3) times in chapter 16 (7) of Lev.
The word afflict in Hebrew is
"anah" meaning to abase, humble or repent and
never as "fast" in the scriptures.
The Hebrew word "tzum" means fast and is "Never" used in connection with the Day of Atonement.
The Blood of the sacrifice was to be the most important feature of the Day of Atonement. NOTHING can change this!
Nothing can be a substitute for the obligatory sacrifice that God gave Moses, which was a "pattern", "a shadow" of Messiah.
---------
All the miracles Yeshua did prove He is no mere man
The
Deity of Yeshua
the Word
Yeshua is Lord and God from everlasting
Let's understand Yeshua:
John 1[10]
He, Yeshua
was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world
knew him not.
The Word from
everlasting, (pre-creation - existence, His Deity)
Also, the Word is called the Son
of man, His humanity as Yeshua
and the Son of God.
Yeshua was clearly more than a mere man.
1John 5 [7] For there are
three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost :
and these three are one.
John 1 [1] In
the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God.
[2] The same (Word) was in the beginning with God .
[3]All things were made by Him; and without him was not
anything made that was made
John 1[14] And the Word was made flesh, and
dwelt among us,
(and
we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of
grace and truth.
Mic.5 [2] But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah,
though thou be little among the thousands of Judah,
yet out of thee shall He come forth unto me
that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings
forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
Prov.8 [23] I was set up from
everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
[24] When there were no
depths, I was brought forth; when there were no
fountains abounding with water.
[25] Before the
mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought
forth:
[26] While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
[27] When he prepared
the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass
upon the face of the depth:
[28] When He established
the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
[29] When He gave to the sea His decree, that the waters should not pass His
commandment: when He appointed the foundations of the earth:
[30] Then I was by Him, as one brought up with Him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before Him;
[31] Rejoicing in the
habitable part of his earth; and My
delights were with the sons of men.
[32] Now therefore hearken unto Me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep My ways.
[33] Hear instruction,
and be wise, and refuse it not.
[34] Blessed is the man that heareth Me, watching daily at My gates, waiting at the posts of My doors.
[35 ]
For whoso findeth Me findeth
life, and shall obtain favour of Yehovah.
[36 ] But he that sinneth against Me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate Me love death. (MESSIAH )
---------------------
Matt.28 [18] And Jesus (Yeshua) came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Dan.7 [13] I saw in the
night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven,
and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
Matt.26 [64] Jesus, (Yeshua)
saith
unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless ( Messiah) I say unto you, Hereafter
shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in
the clouds of heaven.
-------------
Matt.1 [23] Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring
forth a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel,
which being interpreted is, God with us.
--------------
John 8 [56] Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day: and he saw it, and was glad.[57 ] Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?[58 ] Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
John 5 [45] Do not think that I
will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth
you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.[ 46] For had ye
believed Moses, ye would have believed Me: for Moses wrote of Me.[47 ] But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe
my words?
John 17 [5] And
now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with
the glory which I had with thee before the world
was.
Paul writes
to the Colossians
Col.1 [12] Giving
thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the
inheritance of the saints in light:
[13] Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath
translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son:
[14] In whom we have redemption through His blood,
even the forgiveness of sins:
[15] Yeshua
- Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
[16] For by Him, the Word were all things created, that are in
heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones,
or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and
for Him:
[17]
And He is before all things, and by Him all
things consist.
[18] And He, Yeshua
is the head of the body , the church:
who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence.
[19] For it
pleased the Father that in Him, the Word should all fulness
dwell;
[20] And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to
reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be
things in earth, or things in heaven.
1Tim.3 [16] And
without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified
John 14 [1] Let not your
heart be troubled: ye
believe in God, believe also in Me,
(Yeshua)
Matt.18 [20] For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them .
---------------
Isa.45 [23]I have sworn by Myself, the word is gone out of My
mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That
unto Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
Rom.14 [11] For it is
written, As I live, saith
the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
Phil.2 [10] That at the name
of (Yeshua)
Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and
things under the earth;
-----------------------
John.10 [30] I and my Father are one.
Matt.7 [
22]
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord , have
we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have
cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?[ 23 ] And
then will I profess unto them, I, (Yeshua
the Lord ) never knew you : depart
from me, ye that work iniquity.
Luke.10[ 18] And he said
unto them, I, ( Yeshua
) beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
Col.2 [8] Beware lest
any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of
men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ, (Messiah)
[9] For in Him, (Messiah) dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily and power: [10] And ye are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality
--------------
Acts.10[36] The Word
which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Yeshua
the Messiah: (He is Lord of all:)
Matt.12 [8] For the Son of man, (Yeshua )
is Lord even of the sabbath day .
Isa.9 [ 6] For unto us a child is born, unto us a son
is given : and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be
called Wonderful, Counseller, The
mighty God , The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
------------------------
Phil.2[ 5] Let this mind be in
you, which was also in Messiah
Yeshua:
[6] Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God
:[7] But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a
servant, and was made in the likeness of men:[8
] And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled
himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
John.5 [
23]
That all men should honor the Son, even as they
honor the Father .
Rev.1 [4] John to the
seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from Him (Messiah) which is, and which was, and which is to come ; and from the seven
Spirits which are before his throne
8 - I (Yeshua )
am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith
the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Rev.4 [8] And
the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of
eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and
is to come. (Yeshua)
1Tim.1 [16] Howbeit for
this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Yeshua the Messiah might shew
forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on Him to life everlasting.
[17] Now unto the King eternal, immortal,
invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
Matt.4[ 6] the devil said unto Him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written in Psalm 91, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.[7]Yeshua said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Pss.91 [9] Because thou hast made Yehovah, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;[10] There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.[11] For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.[12] They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Rev.1 [8] I, (Yeshua)
am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith
the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Yeshua forgives sins even on earth
Mark.2 [
10]
But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, [7]
Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who
can forgive sins but God only?
Matt.9 [6] But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins,
What man can give power?
Matt.10[ 1] And when He, Yeshua had called unto him his twelve disciples, He, (Yeshua) gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
John.5[ 21] For as the Father raiseth
up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth (makes
alive) whom He will.
John.5[ 22] For the
Father judgeth
no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the
Son:[23 ] That all men should honor the
Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honors not the Son honors not the
Father which hath sent Him.
Matt.11 sounds like God to me
[1] And it came
to pass, when Yeshuas had made an end of commanding
his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their
cities.
[2] Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Messiah, he sent
two of his disciples,
[3] And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for
another?
[4] Yeshua
answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again
those things which ye do hear and see:
[5] The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk,
the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the
poor have the gospel preached to them.
[6] And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
John 14 [9] Yeshua saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen Me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
-------------
Saul says:
Rom.5
[1] Therefore being
justified by faith, we have peace with God through our
Lord Yeshua the Messiah:
[2]
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and
rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
[3] And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that
tribulation worketh patience;
[4] And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
[5] And hope maketh not ashamed; because
the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given
unto us.
[6] For when we were yet
without strength, in due time Messiah died for
the ungodly.
[7] For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good
man some would even dare to die.
[8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Messiah died for us.
[9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
[10] For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
[11] And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, by whom we have now received the atonement.
[12] Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
[13] (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
[14] Nevertheless
death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the
similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
[15] But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through
the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by
grace, which is by one man, Yeshua the Messiah, hath abounded unto many.
[16] And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
[17] For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Yeshua the Messiah.)
[18] Therefore as
by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the
righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
[19] For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the
obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
[20] Moreover the
law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did
much more abound:
[21] That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign
through righteousness unto eternal life by Yeshua the Messiah our Lord.
The Blood of the Messiah is shed for sin atonement
Propitiate: To conciliate, appease:
1 John 2 [2] And He Messiah is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
1 John 4 [10] Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent His Son ( the word, Messiah ) to be the propitiation for our sins.
Heb. 9 [28] So Messiah was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time (for them) without sin unto salvation.
Heb. 2 [17] Wherefore in all things it behoved Him, Yeshua to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
1 Cor.10 [16] The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Messiah? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Messiah?
Eph.2 [13] But now in Messiah Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Messiah.
Heb.9 [14] How much more shall the blood of Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
1 Pet.1 [19] But with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
2 Cor.5 [21] For he Messiah hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin;
Rom.5 [6] For when we were yet without strength, in due time Messiah died for the ungodly.
[8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Messiah died for us.
Rom.14 [15] But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Messiah died.
1 Cor.8 [11] And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Messiah died?
Heb.1: [1] God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, [2] Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; [3] Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when He Messiah had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
Pss.8 [4] What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man , (Messiah) that thou visitest him? 5 ] For thou hast made him (Messiah) a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him (Messiah) with glory and honour.[6 ] Thou madest him (Messiah) to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his (Messiah) feet:[ 7] All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;[8 ] The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
Heb.2 [9] But we see Yeshua, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Heb.4 [15] For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but (Messiah) was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Heb.7 [25] Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing He, Messiah ever liveth to make intercession for them

Isaiah Chapter 53 – The Word - Yeshua is Salvation
Over 50 references of a man are made in this chapter.
[1]
Who hath believed our report? and to whom is The Arm of Yehovah revealed?
[2]
For He shall grow up before Him as a tender
plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: He
hath no
form nor comeliness; and when we shall see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him.
[3]
He is despised and rejected
of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted
with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we esteemed Him not.
[4]
Surely He hath borne our griefs,
and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken,
smitten of God, and afflicted.
[5]
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities: the
chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with
His stripes we are
healed.
[6]
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and
Yehovah hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
[7]
He was oppressed, and He
was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth: He is
brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb,
so He openeth not his mouth.
[8]
He was taken from prison and from judgment: and
who shall declare His generation?
for He was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression
of my people was He stricken.
[9]
And He made His
grave with the wicked, and with the rich in His death;
because He had done no violence, neither was any
deceit in His mouth.
[10]
Yet it pleased Yehovah to bruise Him; he hath put Him to
grief: when thou shalt
make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed,
He shall prolong His days,
and the pleasure of Yehovah shall
prosper in His hand.
[11] He shall see of the
travail of His soul, and shall be satisfied: by His knowledge shall My righteous servant
justify many; for He shall bear their iniquities.
[12]
Therefore will I divide Him a portion with the
great, and He shall divide the spoil with the
strong;
because He hath poured out His soul unto
death:
and He was numbered with the transgressors;
and He bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Hebrew grammar is very involved.
In
Hebrew grammar, it is very important to understand the verb system in form,
function and meaning. In the Hebrew Bible, there are just over 23,000 verses.
In the midst of these verses are found almost 72,000 verbs. Approx. 3 verbs to a
verse.
Verbs
contain person, gender and number.
The
Qal
is the basic verbal stem.
There are six derived conjugations which are constructed on the verbal root.
In this chapter 53, the Niphal stem with the (3ms )(3rd person, masculine, singular) form is applied in many verses.
The
context of a sentence is very important to watch.
Some words take on different meanings pertaining to the sentence structure.
Just remember, Israel cannot die for the sins of Israel
