Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the
1500’s,
June 20, 2015
Very pagan
June -- Juno's month
Middle English jun(e)
Old French juin
Old English juninus
Latin Junius "of
Juno"
Latin Junius mensis "month
of Juno"
Junius had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it
became 30 days long.
Juno is the
principle goddess of the Roman Pantheon. She is the goddess of marriage and the well-being of
women.
She is the wife and
sister of Jupiter.
She is identified with the Greek goddess Hera.
-----------------
We acknowledge God’s calendar
We are now in:
The 4th month of God, day 2 - The 4th
month has no scriptural name.
Judaism calls the 4th
month Tammuz - not in scripture
Only verse:
Ezek.8 [14] Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD's
house which was toward the north; and, behold, there
sat women weeping for Tammuz - (pagan deity)
תַּמּוּז a Sumerian deity of food or vegetation, a
Phoenician deity

Scriptures for the 4th month
2Kgs.25
[1] And it came to pass in the
ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month,
that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he, and all his
host, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it; and they built forts against
it round about.
[2] And the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.
[3] And on the ninth day of
the fourth month the famine prevailed in the city, and there was no bread for
the people of the land.
[4] And the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled by night by
the way of the gate between two walls, which is by the king's garden: (now the Chaldees were against the city round about:)
and the king went the way toward the plain.
[5] And the army of the Chaldees pursued after
the king, and overtook him in the plains of Jericho: and all his army were
scattered from him.
[6] So they took the king, and brought him up to the king of Babylon to Riblah; and they gave judgment upon him.
[7] And they slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and put out the
eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him with fetters of brass, and carried him to
Babylon.

Today’s Topic:
Sound doctrine
Beware
of cults; they come in all sizes, shapes and colors
Most religions are not dangerous
You know the ones that are, look them up on google
A
dictionary definition
noun
1.
a particular system of
religious worship, especially with reference to its rites and ceremonies.
2.
an instance of great veneration
of a person, ideal, or thing, especially as manifested by a body of admirers
3.
the object of such
devotion.
4.
a group or sect bound together
by veneration of the same thing, person, ideal, etc.
5.
Sociology. a group having a sacred ideology and a set of rites
centering around their sacred symbols.
6.
A religion or sect considered to be
false, unorthodox, or extremist, with members often living outside of
conventional society under the direction of a charismatic leader.
7.
The members of such a religion or sect.
So a cult can be defined as any group of people which
venerates one particular individual, ideal or object. Sounds like all
religions
Venerate – to regard or treat with reverence; revere
However there
is a difference of a dangerous cult
A cult can be any group of fanatics or a group
of misguided individuals whose ideals have segmented them from normal society.
Many cults don’t begin as dangerous sects
However, many dangerous cults have sinister or
extreme agendas.
Some earmarks of a dangerous cult:
Separation from schooling, education, family and
society, a misuse and abuse of scripture to their own advantage, demands you to
use their terms, names and words, commanding you to dress in a certain way, brainwashing,
sleep deprivation, fear tactics on you, like hell to control you, a military
profile, pedophilia, polygamy, a bombarding of instructions or teachings on a
daily schedule, a control of your lives, money and family, your children…

[1] Paul, an apostle of Yeshua the Messiah by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Yeshua the Messiah, which is our hope;
[2] Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God
our Father and Yeshua the Messiah our
Lord.
[3] As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some
that they teach no other doctrine,
[4] Neither give heed to fables and endless
genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in
faith: so do.
[5] Now the end of the commandment is charity
out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
[6] From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
[7] Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say,
nor whereof they affirm.
[8] But we know that the law is good, if a man
use it lawfully;
[9] Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the
lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and
profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
[10] For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound
doctrine;
[11] According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was
committed to my trust.
[12] And I thank Messiah Yeshua our Lord, who
hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
[13] Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I
obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
[14] And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which
is in Messiah Yeshua.
[15] This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Messiah
Yeshua came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
[16] Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Yeshua the
Messiah might shew forth all longsuffering, for a
pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
[17] Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and
ever. Amen.
[18] This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies
which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good
warfare;
[19] Holding faith, and a good conscience; which
some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:
[20] Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have
delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.
[1] I charge thee therefore before God, and the
Lord Yeshua the Messiah, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his
appearing and his kingdom;
[5] But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an
evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. [2] Preach the word; be instant in
season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and
doctrine.
[3] For the time will
come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers,
having itching ears;
[4] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto
fables.
2Tim.1
[13] Hold fast the form
of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is
in Messiah Yeshua.
[14] That good thing which was committed unto thee keep
by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.
[15] This thou knowest,
that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom
are Phygellus and Hermogenes.
[1] Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Yeshua
the Messiah, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of
the truth which is after godliness;
[2] In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the
world began;
[3] But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is
committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;
[4] To Titus, mine own
son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father
and the Lord Yeshua the
Messiah our Saviour.
[5] For this cause left I
thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the
things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed
thee:
Elders, a bishop - Men
[6] If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of
riot or unruly.
[7] For a bishop must be blameless, as the
steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not
given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
[8] But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy,
temperate;
[9] Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the
gainsayers.
[10] For there are many unruly and
vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
[11] Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things
which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
[12] One of themselves, even a prophet of their
own, said, The Cretians are alway
liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
[13] This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them
sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
[14] Not giving heed to
Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
[15] Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and
unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
[16] They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being
abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
[1] But speak thou the things which
become sound doctrine:
[2] That the aged men be
sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
[3] The aged women
likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much
wine, teachers of good things;
[4] That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their
husbands, to love their children,
[5] To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own
husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
[6] Young men
likewise exhort to be sober minded.
[7] In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good
works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness,
gravity, sincerity,
[8] Sound speech, that cannot be condemned;
that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to
say of you.
[9] Exhort servants
to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things;
not answering again;
[10] Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity;
that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
[11] For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
[12] Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live
soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
[13] Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God
and our Saviour Yeshua the Messiah;
[14] Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and
purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
[15] These things speak, and exhort,
and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
