The"7"
week journey to meet God again
How
did you do these "7" weeks?
In the desert, the wilderness – your lives
Did you make any
new commitments on your "7" week journey to
meet God in the desert, the wilderness (our lives)?
In a
desert or wilderness, there would seem to be nothing to get into that would go
wrong.
However,
you’re there, your heart and Satan
It’s all about faith and receiving from God
------
Let’s define a few words:
Desert: A region so arid because of little rainfall that it supports only
sparse and widely spaced vegetation or no vegetation at all:
The Sahara is a vast sandy desert.
Any area in which few forms of life can exist
because of lack of water, permanent frost, or absence of soil
Also: An area of the ocean in which it is believed no marine life exists.

Wilderness: A wild and uncultivated region, as of forest or desert, uninhabited or
inhabited only by wild animals; a tract of wasteland.
------
Whether you know it or not we are in the exile
and scattered.
This exile has become our way of life and we
don't even know we are in exile. We were born in
complacency.
***Complacency: a feeling of
quiet pleasure or security, often while unaware of some
potential danger, defect, or the like.
Do you understand what I mean?

Exod. 19
[1] In the
third month,(Sivan) when the
children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they
into the wilderness of Sinai.
[2] For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the
desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before
the mount.
[8] And all the people answered
together, and said, All that YHVH hath spoken we
will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto Yehovah.

wilderness, and grieve him in the desert!

Baptism with water

This is he that came by water
and blood,
even Yeshua the Messiah;
Water (baptism, spiritually) make clean,
The Blood of Messiah and His Word makes us clean

1 John 5 [1]
Whosoever believeth that Yeshua is the Messiah is born
of God: and every one that loveth
him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of
him.
[2] By this we know that we love the children of
God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
[3] For this is the love of God, that we keep his
commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
[4] For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our
faith.
[5] Who is he that overcometh the world, but
he that believeth that Yeshua is the Son of God?
And it is the Spirit that beareth witness,
because the Spirit is truth.
[7] For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these
three are one.
[8] And there are three that bear
witness in earth, the spirit, and the water,
and the blood: and these three agree in one.
[9] If we
receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this
is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
[10] He that believeth on the Son of God hath
the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because
he believeth not the record that God
gave of his Son.
[11] And this is the record, that
God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
[12] He that hath the Son hath life; and
he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
[13] These things have I written unto
you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have
eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
[14] And this is the confidence that we have in
him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth
us:[15] And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have
the petitions that we desired of him.
[16] If any man see
his brother sin (ignorantly) a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and
he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto
death (presumptuously) I do not say that he shall pray for it.
[17] All unrighteousness
is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. Ignorant sin
[18] We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth
not (presumptuously); but he that is begotten of God keepeth
himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
[19] And we know that we are of God, and
the whole world lieth in wickedness.
[20] And we know that the Son of God is
come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true,
and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Yeshua the Messiah. This is the true God, and eternal life.
[21] Little children, keep yourselves
from idols. Amen.

to receive the gifts of God which are given freely
Receive
1. to take into one's possession (something offered or
delivered): to receive many gifts.
2. to have (something)
bestowed, conferred, etc.: to receive an honorary degree.
3. to have delivered or
brought to one: to receive a letter.
4. to get or be informed
of: to receive instructions; to receive news.
To admit, entertain, welcome, be persuaded

The water and the Spirit
Luke 3 [16] John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize
you with water; but one mightier than I
cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall
baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire: [17] Whose fan is in his hand,
and he will throughly purge his floor, and will
gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire
unquenchable.
Matt. 3 [16] And Yeshua, when he was baptized, went up straightway
out of the water: and, lo, the heavens
were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit
of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
John 1 [33] And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize
with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same
is he which baptizeth with the Holy Spirit.
1 Cor. 12 [13] For by one Spirit are
we all baptized into one body, whether
we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all
made to drink into one Spirit.
A few other
verses with the word receive, there are many
Acts 1 [8] But ye shall receive power,
after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto
me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost
part of the earth. [9] And when he had spoken these things, while they
beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
Acts 2 [33] Therefore
being by the right hand of God exalted, and having
received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed
forth this, which ye now see and hear.
[38]
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name
of Yeshua the Messiah for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
[39] For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all
that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
[40]
And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save
yourselves from this untoward generation.
[41] Then they
that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there
were added unto them about three thousand souls.
[44]
Yeshua cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
[45] And he that seeth me seeth him
that sent me.
[46]
I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not
abide in darkness.
[47] And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for
I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
[48]
He that rejecteth me,
and receiveth not my words, hath one that
judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the
last day.
[49]
For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a
commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
[50] And I know that his commandment is life
everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said
unto me, so I speak.
Acts 17 Those at Berea - [11] These were more noble
than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the
word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily,
whether those things were so.
Rom. 5 [11] ... we also
joy in God through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, by whom we have now received the atonement.
Rom. 8 [15] For ye have not received the spirit of bondage
again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit
of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
1 Cor. 2 [12] Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the
things that are freely given to us of God
1 John 3 [22] And
whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we
keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
2 Cor. 5 [10] For we must all
appear before the judgment seat of Messiah; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to
that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Receiving and believing by faith go
hand-in-hand
While you are in your desert, wilderness, your life, keep believing
and receiving from our heavenly Father (lest you be wearied and faint in your
minds)
Again: How did
you do these "7" weeks? (Spiritually,
physically)
In the desert, the wilderness (your lives)
Did you do as good as our brothers and sisters below, in their
deserts and wilderness, their lives?
Heb.11
[1]
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen.
[2] For by it the elders obtained a good report. [3] Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by
the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do
appear.
[4]
By faith Abel offered unto God a more
excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was
righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
[5]
By faith Enoch was translated that he
should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for
before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
[6] But without faith it is impossible to please
him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he
is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently
seek him.
[7]
By faith Noah, being warned of God of
things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his
house; by the which he condemned the world, and became
heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
[8] By faith Abraham, when he was
called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance,
obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
[9] By faith he sojourned in the land
of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and
Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
[10] For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and
maker is God.
[11] Through faith also Sara
herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when
she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
[12] Therefore sprang there even of one, and
him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the
sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
[13] These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having
seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and
confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
[14] For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a
country.
[15] And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence
they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
[16] But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their
God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
[17] By faith Abraham, when he
was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up
his only begotten son,
[18] Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:
[19] Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead;
from whence also he received him in a figure.
[20]
By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau
concerning things to come.
[21]
By faith Jacob, when he was a dying,
blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his
staff.
[22]
By faith Joseph, when he died, made
mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment
concerning his bones.
[23] By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months
of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not
afraid of the king's commandment.
[24] By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of
Pharaoh's daughter;
[25] Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God,
than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
[26] Esteeming the reproach of Messiah greater riches than the
treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence
of the reward.
[27] By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he
endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
[28] Through faith he kept the passover,
and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch
them.
[29]
By faith they passed through the Red sea
as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.
[30]
By faith the walls of Jericho fell down,
after they were compassed about seven days.
[31] By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she
had received the spies with peace.
[32] And what shall I more say?
for the time
would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of
Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel,
and of the prophets:
[33] Who through faith subdued kingdoms,
wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,[34]
Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness
were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the
aliens.
[35] Women received their dead raised to life again:
and others were
tortured, not accepting deliverance;
that they might
obtain a better resurrection:
[36] And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea,
moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
[37] They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted,
were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins;
being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
[38] (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts,
and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
[39] And these all, having obtained a good report through
faith, received not the promise:[40] God having
provided some better thing for us, that they without us (apart from us) should
not be made perfect.
Yes, we may all meet one day together
