**Remember:
We were told to count the
"Sabbaths" not omers
So we
are counting.
Today
is the 1st Sabbath out of the seven Sabbaths we were told to count.
Judaism, some Messianics and some Protestant Messianics are counting the “omer”. They still cannot follow the
scriptures correctly. They follow each other.
For your information:
An "omer" עמר is a "sheaf" of barley, a dry measure of 1/10 ephah (about 2 liters)
Now let’s read scripture
Lev.23 [15]
And ye shall count unto you from the
morrow after the sabbath,
from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
[16] Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto Yehovah.
[21]
And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work
therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings
throughout your generations.

God
A "7 week" journey to consider again
From the receiving of the Torah / Law, to the receiving of the Holy Spirit
-------------
Just think, we just got the leaven out (sin)
Right after triumphing gloriously, murmuring started
Scriptures to consider:
-------------
Don't murmur
Exod. 15
[1] Then
sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto Yehovah, and spake, saying, I will sing unto Yehovah, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the
horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
[20] And Miriam the
prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after
her with timbrels and with dances.
[21] And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to Yehovah, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the
horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
[22] So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the
wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
[23] And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter:
therefore the name of it was called Marah.
[24] And the people murmured
against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
--------------
Exod. 16
[1] And they
took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation
of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth
day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.
[2] And the whole
congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the
wilderness:
[3] And the children of
Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the
hand of Yehovah in the land of Egypt,
when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for ye
have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with
hunger.
[4] Then said Yehovah unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven
for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my
law, or no.
[5] And it shall come
to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring
in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.
[6] And Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then ye shall know that Yehovah hath brought you out from the land of Egypt:
[7] And in the
morning, then ye shall see the glory of Yehovah כְּבוֹד
יְהוָה ; for that
he heareth your murmurings against Yehovah : and what are we, that ye murmur against
us?
[8] And Moses said, This shall be, when Yehovah shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and
in the morning bread to the full; for that Yehovah heareth your murmurings which ye murmur
against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against Yehovah.
[9] And Moses spake unto Aaron, Say unto all
the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before Yehovah: for he hath heard your murmurings.
[10] And it came to
pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation
of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of Yehovah appeared in the cloud.
[11] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
[12] I have heard the
murmurings of the children of Israel: speak
unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be
filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am Yehovah your God.
--------------
Exod. 17
[3] And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is
this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and
our cattle with thirst?
---------
Always watch the mixt multitude around you - follow the faithful ones
Exod.12 [ 38] And a mixed
multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much
cattle.
Neh. 13 [3 ] Now it came to pass, when they had
heard the law, that they separated from Israel all the mixed
multitude. כָל־עֵרֶב
-----------------
Num. 11 [1] And when the people
complained, it displeased Yehovah: and Yehovah heard it; and his anger was
kindled; and the fire of Yehovah burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of
the camp.
[2] And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto Yehovah, the fire was quenched.
[3] And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of Yehovah burnt among them.
Taberah = “burning”
[4] And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a
lusting: and the children of Israel
also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?
*** [5] We
remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the
melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:
[6] But our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all,
beside this manna, before our eyes.
אספּסף mixt multitude - a - sof - suf - gathered up together, that is, a
promiscuous assemblage (of people): - mixt multitude.
[7] And the manna was as coriander
seed, and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium.
[8] And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat
it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it
was as the taste of fresh oil.
[9] And when the dew fell upon the camp in the night, the manna fell upon it.
[10] Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in
the door of his tent: and the anger of Yehovah was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased.
[11] And Moses said unto Yehovah, Wherefore hast thou afflicted thy
servant? and wherefore have I not found favour in thy sight, that thou layest the burden of all this people upon me?
[12] Have I conceived all this people? have I begotten them, that thou shouldest say unto me, Carry them in thy bosom,
as a nursing father beareth the sucking child, unto the land which
thou swarest unto their fathers?
[13] Whence should I have flesh to give
unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us
flesh, that we may eat.
[14] I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy
for me.
[15] And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I
have found favour in thy sight; and let me not see my
wretchedness.
[16] And Yehovah said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them;
and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand
there with thee.
[17] And I will come down and talk with thee there:
and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them;
and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not
thyself alone.
[18] And say thou unto the people,
Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have
wept in the ears of Yehovah, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore
Yehovah will give you flesh, and ye shall eat.
[19] Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days,
nor twenty days;
[20] But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be
loathsome unto you: because that ye have despised Yehovah which is among you, and have
wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt?
[21] And Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand
footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole
month.
[22] Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for
them, to suffice them?
[23] And Yehovah said unto Moses, Is Yehovah's hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word
shall come to pass unto thee or not.
[24] And Moses went out, and told the
people the words of Yehovah, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the
people, and set them round about the tabernacle.
[25] And Yehovah came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that
was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that,
when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.
[26] But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them
that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in
the camp.
[27] And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp.
[28] And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men,
answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.
[29] And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all Yehovah's people were prophets, and that Yehovah would put his spirit upon them!
[30] And Moses gat him into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.
[31] And there went forth a wind from Yehovah, and brought quails from the sea, and
let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it
were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were
two cubits high upon the face of the earth.
[32] And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next
day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers:
and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp.
[33] And while the flesh was yet between their teeth,
ere it was chewed, the wrath of Yehovah was kindled against the
people, and Yehovah smote the people with a very great plague.
[34] And he called the name of that place Kibroth-hattaavah: because there they buried
the people that lusted.
[35] And the
people journeyed from Kibroth-hattaavah unto Hazeroth; and abode at Hazeroth.
---------
Ecc. 7 [9] Be not hasty in thy spirit to
be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.
[10] Say not thou,
What is the cause
that the former days were better than these?
for thou dost not inquire wisely concerning this.
---------
Saul says:
1 Cor. 10
[1] Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how
that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
[2] And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
[3] And did all eat the same spiritual
meat;
[4] And did all drink the same spiritual
drink: for they drank of that spiritual
Rock that followed them: and that Rock
was Messiah /Messiah.
[5] But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were
overthrown in the wilderness.
[6] Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they
also lusted.

Don't murmur
Again - Num. 11 [4] And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the
children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?
[5] We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt
freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:

back to 1 Cor. 10
[7] Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of
them; as it is written, The
people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
--------------
Exod. 32
[1] And when the people saw
that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered
themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which
shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of
the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
[2] And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the
ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto
me.
[3] And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears,
and brought them unto Aaron.
[4] And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool,
after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel,
which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
[5] And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made
proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to Yehovah.
[6] And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered
burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat
and to drink, and rose up to play.
Back to 1 Cor. 10
[8] Neither
let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one
day three and twenty thousand.
[9] Neither
let us tempt Messiah / Messiah, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
--------------
Num. 21
[6] And Yehovah sent fiery serpents among
the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Back to 1 Cor. 10:
1 Cor. 10 [10] Neither murmur ye, as some of them also
murmured, and were destroyed of the
destroyer.

Again - Num. 11
[1] And when the people complained, it displeased Yehovah: and Yehovah heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of Yehovah burnt among them, and consumed them that were in

[33] And while the flesh was

of Yehovah was kindled against the people, and Yehovah smote the people with a very great

Back to 1 Cor. 10:
1 Cor. 10
[11] Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they
are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
[12] Wherefore let
him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
[13] There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but
God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able;
but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to
bear it.
[14] Wherefore, my
dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.
