Let’s Pray
This is the first
Sabbath of the 7 Sabbaths we were told to count
Lev.23[15] And ye shall count
unto you from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that ye brought the
sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be
complete:
[16] Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number
fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto Yehovah.
[21] And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day,
that it may be an holy
convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a
statute for ever in all your dwellings
throughout your generations.

Today we use the
Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s.
Today is April 22,
2017 – in the 21 Century
April --
Aphrodite's month
Old English April(is)
Latin Aprilis
Etruscan Apru
Greek Aphro, short for Aphrodite.
Aprilis had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 30
days long.
Aphrodite is the
Greek goddess of love and beauty. She is identified with the Roman goddess Venus.
Yehovah God has His own calendar, which is deleted from the world
We are now in the 1st
month of the God of Israel called Nisan, נִיסָן and ha aviv הָאָבִיב – 24th day

that is, the month Nisan

**The New Moon is coming – Rosh Chodesh, the 2nd Month of God, Ziv / Zif is coming - April 28
1 Kgs. 6 [1] And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the
children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of
Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of Yehovah.
זִו - ziv - brightness, (figuratively) the month of
flowers
***Make sure you change your Judaism calendars – The
2nd month is not Iyyar as Judaism states.

Spring
Feast - Feasts of Weeks /
Harvest / Pentecost – Sunday June 4th, 2017 – a Sabbath
50 days from First Fruits:
Judaism and some Messianics are counting the “omer”. They still
cannot follow the scriptures correctly.
Remember we will be counting "weeks", Sabbaths not omers
An "omer" is a "sheaf" of barley
עמר omer - A dry measure of 1/10 ephah (about 2 liters)
Feast of Weeks, Hag Sh'vu-ot - חַג שָׁבֻעֹת
Feast of Harvest Hag ha katseer - חַג הַקָּצִיר
Pentecost = 50 days
(A Sabbath) Sunday,
(there are 2 Sabbaths in a row)
“Offering time”
Exod.23 [14] Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto Me in the year.
[15] Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened
bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed
of the month ha Aviv / Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none
shall appear before me empty:)
***[16] And the feast of harvest, Weeks, Pentecost,
the first fruits (wheat) of thy labors, which
thou hast sown in the field:
and the feast of ingathering, which is in the
end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours
out of the field. [17] Three times in the year
all thy males shall appear before Lord Yehovah.
Also:
Deut.16 [16] Three times in a year shall all thy males
appear before Yehovah thy God in the place which he
shall choose;
in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks,
and in the feast of tabernacles:
and they shall not appear before Yehovah
empty:
[17] Every man
shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of Yehovah
thy God which he hath given thee.

Lev. 23
[1] And Yehovah
spake unto Moses, saying,
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts
of Yehovah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
[3] Six days shall work be
done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall
do no work therein: it is the sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.
[4] These are the
feasts of Yehovah, even holy convocations, which ye
shall proclaim in their seasons.
[44] And Moses declared unto the children
of Israel the feasts of Yehovah.

Today’s topic:
The "7
week" journey to meet God - again
How will you behave yourselves these 50 days? (Physically
and Spiritually)
Remember: you are
the "Temple of the
Living God" and the "Light of the World"?

From slaves in
Egypt to the people of God
A "7 week" journey to consider again,
To receive the giving of the Torah / Law (and the 10
commandments) and the Holy Spirit
-------------
Just think, we just got the leaven out (sin)
Right after
triumphing gloriously, murmuring started
Scriptures to
consider:
-------------
Don't murmur
Exod. 15
[1] Then sang Moses
and the children of Israel this song unto Yehovah, and spake, saying, I will sing unto Yehovah, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider
hath he thrown into the sea.
[20] And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of
Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after
her with timbrels and with dances.
[21] And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to Yehovah, for he hath triumphed
gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
[22] So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the
wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
[23] And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter:
therefore the name of it was called Marah.
[24] And the people murmured
against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
--------------
Exod. 16
[1] And they
took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation
of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth
day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.
[2] And the whole
congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the
wilderness:
[3] And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of Yehovah in the land of Egypt,
when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for ye
have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with
hunger.
[4] Then said Yehovah unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people
shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that
I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.
[5] And it shall come to pass, that on the
sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be
twice as much as they gather daily.
[6] And Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then ye shall know that Yehovah hath brought you out from the land of Egypt:
[7] And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of Yehovah כְּבוֹד
יְהוָה ; for that
he heareth your murmurings against Yehovah : and what are we, that ye
murmur against us?
[8] And Moses said, This shall be, when Yehovah shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the
full; for that Yehovah heareth your murmurings
which ye murmur against him: and what are
we? your murmurings are not against us, but against Yehovah.
[9] And Moses spake unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the
children of Israel, Come near before Yehovah: for he hath heard your murmurings.
[10] And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation
of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of Yehovah appeared in the cloud.
[11] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
[12] I have heard the
murmurings of the children of Israel: speak
unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be
filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am Yehovah your God.
--------------
Exod. 17
[3] And the people thirsted there for water; and the
people murmured against Moses, and said,
Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our
children and our cattle with thirst?
---------
Always watch the mixt multitude around you - follow the faithful ones
Exod.12 [ 38] And a mixed multitude
went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.
Neh. 13 [3 ] Now it came to pass, when they had
heard the law, that they separated from Israel all the mixed
multitude. כָל־עֵרֶב

Num. 11 [1] And when the people
complained, it displeased Yehovah: and Yehovah heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the
fire of Yehovah burnt among them, and consumed them that were in
the uttermost parts of the camp.
[2] And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto Yehovah, the fire was quenched.
[3] And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of Yehovah burnt among them.
Taberah = “burning”
[4] And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and
said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?
*** [5] We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers,
and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlic:
[6] But our soul is dried away: there
is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.
אספּסף mixt multitude - a - sof - suf - gathered up together, that is, a promiscuous assemblage (of people): - mixt multitude.
[7] And the manna was as coriander seed, and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium.
[8] And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat
it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it
was as the taste of fresh oil.
[9] And when the dew fell upon the camp in the night, the manna fell upon it.
[10] Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in
the door of his tent: and the anger of Yehovah was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased.
[11] And Moses said unto Yehovah, Wherefore hast thou afflicted thy
servant? and wherefore have I not found favour in thy sight, that thou layest the burden of all this people upon me?
[12] Have I conceived all this people? have I begotten them, that thou shouldest say unto me, Carry them in thy bosom, as a nursing
father beareth the sucking child, unto the land which
thou swarest unto their fathers?
[13] Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us
flesh, that we may eat.
[14] I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy
for me.
[15] And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I
have found favour in thy sight; and let me not see my
wretchedness.
[16] And Yehovah said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them;
and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand
there with thee.
[17] And I will come down and talk with thee
there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon
them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it
not thyself alone.
[18] And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of
Yehovah, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore
Yehovah will give you flesh, and ye
shall eat.
[19] Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days,
nor twenty days;
[20] But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be
loathsome unto you: because that ye have despised Yehovah which is among you, and have
wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt?
[21] And Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six
hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them flesh, that they
may eat a whole month.
[22] Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for
them, to suffice them?
[23] And Yehovah said unto Moses, Is Yehovah's hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word
shall come to pass unto thee or not.
[24] And Moses went out, and told the people the words of Yehovah, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the
people, and set them round about the tabernacle.
[25] And Yehovah came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and
gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit
rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.
[26] But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them
that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in
the camp.
[27] And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp.
[28] And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men,
answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.
[29] And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all Yehovah's people were prophets, and that Yehovah would put his spirit upon them!
[30] And Moses gat him into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.
[31] And there went forth a wind from Yehovah, and brought quails from the sea, and
let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it
were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were
two cubits high upon the face of the earth.
[32] And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next
day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers:
and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp.
[33] And while the flesh was yet between their teeth,
ere it was chewed, the wrath of Yehovah was kindled against the
people, and Yehovah smote the people with a very
great plague.
[34] And he called the name of that place Kibroth-hattaavah: because there they buried
the people that lusted.
[35] And the
people journeyed from Kibroth-hattaavah unto Hazeroth; and abode at Hazeroth.

Ecc. 7 [9] Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry:
for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.
[10] Say not thou,
What is the cause that the former days were better than
these?
for thou dost not inquire wisely concerning this.

Saul says:
1 Cor. 10 [1] Moreover, brethren, I would not that
ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all
passed through the sea;
[2] And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
[3] And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
[4] And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Messiah.
[5] But with many of them God was not well
pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
[6] Now these things were
our examples, to the intent we should not lust
after evil things, as they also lusted.

Exod. 32
[1] And when the people saw that Moses delayed to
come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron,
and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this
Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
[2] And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the
ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto
me.
[3] And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears,
and brought them unto Aaron.
[4] And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool,
after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel,
which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
[5] And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made
proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to Yehovah.
[6] And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered
burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat
and to drink, and rose up to play.

Feast of Harvest, 0f Weeks / Pentecost is coming
Shabbat Shalom
All
-----------------------------------------------------
I will explain the Sabbath each week now during the
holydays
This is how simple it is:
Question: So why are we
here today?
Answer: We were told to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy.
Sabbath is the “4th Commandment” 0f the 10 Commandments
Today is the rest of the holy Sabbath unto Yehovah
I will explain the Sabbath day from Scripture, the 7th day.
The Sabbath is not a
service for an hour and a half, but a 24 hour
period on the seventh day.
Not any day you pick.
---------------
Gen.2 [1] Thus the heavens and the
earth were finished, and all the host of them.
[2] And on the seventh day God ended
his work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work
which He had made.
[3] And God blessed the seventh day, and
sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which
God created and made.
-------------
Lev. 23 [32] … from even (sunset) unto even (sunset), shall ye
celebrate your Sabbath.
The Sabbath is the 4th Commandment of the covenant given to
us at Mount Sinai in the 3rd month, Sivan
The 10 commandments are in Exod. 20 and Deut.
5 - if you just know this, you will know more than most ministers.
זכר Remember
zâkar - zaw-kar' - A primitive root; properly to mark (so as to be recognized),
that is, to remember; by implication to mention; make mention of, be mindful,
recount, record (-er),
remember, make to be remembered, bring (call, come, keep, put) to (in)
remembrance, be still, think on, well.
Ex. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
[9] Six days shalt
thou labour, and do all thy work:
[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath
of Yehovah thy
God:
in it thou shalt not
do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy
maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is
within thy gates:
[11] For in six days Yehovah
made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh
day: wherefore Yehovah
blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.
--------
Isa. 58 [13] If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure
on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of Yehovah, honorable; and shalt honor him,
1 - not
doing thine (your) own ways
2 - nor
finding thine (your) own pleasure
3 - nor
speaking thine (your) own words:
[14] Then shalt
thou delight thyself in Yehovah;
and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee
with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of Yehovah
hath spoken it.
------------
Lev. 23 [3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh
day is the Sabbath of rest, an
"holy convocation"; ye shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of Yehovah
in all your dwellings.
Dwelling:מושׁב môshâv - seat, assembly, dwelling-place, dwelling, your
situation, location, (at) time of dwelling.
All Sabbaths are "holy convocations, a miqra kodesh"
Lev.23
[1] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, concerning the feasts of Yehovah,
which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even
these are My feasts.
[3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is
the Sabbath of rest, an
holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein:
it is the Sabbath of Yehovah
in all your dwellings.
[4] These are the feasts of Yehovah, even holy
convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their
seasons.
מקרא miqra: convocation, convoking, reading, a calling together, sacred assembly, something called
out, that is, a public meeting (the act, the persons, or the place); also a
rehearsal
קדשׁ kodesh: a sacred place or thing; consecrated, dedicated, hallowed,
holiness, saint, sanctuary, apartness, sacredness, separateness, apartness,
sacredness, holiness: All to the God of Israel.
------------
Buying and selling is evil on the Sabbath.
Neh. 13 [16] There dwelt men of
Tyre also therein, which
brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the sabbath unto the
children of Judah, and in Jerusalem.
[17] Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, what evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the Sabbath
day?
