Today is the Shabbat, God’s
Time
----------------
Let’s pray
--------------------------------
Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from
the 1500’s.
Today is March 8, 2014
March -- Mars' month
Middle English
March
Anglo-French March
Old English Martius
Latin Martius "of Mars"
Latin Marti(s) "Mars" + -us
(adj. suffix)
Latin Martius mensis "month of Mars"
Martius has always had 31
days.
March was the original beginning of the year and the time for the resumption of war.
Mars is
the Roman god of war. He is identified with the Greek god Ares.
------------------
Yehovah has His own calendar
We are now in the 12th month, which is the month called 2nd Adar,6th day
Esth.3 [7] In the
first month, that is, the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot,
before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar.
Adar = “glorious”- אדר
Corresponding to
modern Feb. / March

Soon ha Aviv, Nisan
It seems I can never review these days
early enough for you
Here are some approximate 2014 dates for the feasts and holy days;
this is the best I can do at this time.
**Remember, all
2014 dates I give you start in the evening before
God’s New Year
First of Nisan is April 1
starts evening before (March 31), we believe.
Passover, evening of the 14th
First day of Unleavened Bread – Aviv 15 April 15 starts Evening of April 14
Last Day of Unleavened Bread – Aviv 21 April 21, starts the evening of
April 20
Feast of Weeks - Sunday - June 8 starts the Evening of June
7th
If they do not see the New
Moon on March 31, then the first of Nisan would be April 2 and all the dates
above except the Feast of weeks would increase by 1 day.
Today’s Topic:
The
enduring contest – which we are faced with
Let’s
read
Matt.10 [22] And ye shall be hated of all men for
my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end
shall be saved.
John
6 [27] Labour not for the meat which
perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto
everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him
hath God the Father sealed.
---------------------
1Cor.13 – Let’s exchange the word charity for the
word Messiah
[1]
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (Messiah), I am become as sounding brass, or a
tinkling cymbal.
[2]
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all
knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and
have not charity, (Messiah) I am
nothing.
[3]
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to
be burned, and have not charity, (Messiah),
it profiteth me nothing.
[4 Charity, (Messiah ) suffereth long, and is kind; charity, (Messiah ) envieth not; charity,
(Messiah ) vaunteth not
itself, is not puffed up,
[5]
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked,
thinketh no evil;
[6]
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
[7] Beareth all things, believeth all
things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
[8] Charity, (Messiah ) never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall
fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge,
it shall vanish away.
[13]
And now abideth faith, hope, charity,
these three;
but the greatest of these is charity, (Messiah).
-----------------------------
Mark 4
[3] Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to
sow:
[16]… these are they likewise which
are sown on stony
ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with
gladness
[17] And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when
affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.
2 Thes.1
[1]
Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God
our Father and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah:
[2] Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Yeshua
the Messiah.
[3] We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet,
because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of
you all toward each other aboundeth;
[4] So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches
of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations
that ye endure:
[5]
Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be
counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
[6] Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to
them that trouble you;
[7] And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Yeshua shall
be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
[8] In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that
obey not the gospel of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah:
[9] Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence
of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
[10] When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired
in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that
day.
[11] Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you
worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and
the work of faith with power:
[12] That the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah may be glorified in
you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Yeshua the
Messiah.
2 Tim. 2
[1]
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Messiah Yeshua.
[2] And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the
same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
[3] Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Yeshua the
Messiah.
[4]
No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he
may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
[5] And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned,
except he strive lawfully.
[6] The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.
[7] Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all
things.
[8] Remember that Yeshua the Messiah of the seed of David was raised
from the dead according to my gospel
[9] Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
[10] Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they
may also obtain the salvation which is in Messiah Yeshua with eternal glory.
[11]
It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with
him:
[12] If we suffer, we shall also
reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
[13] If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
2Tim.3
[1]
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
[2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters,
proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
[3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers,
incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
[4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than
lovers of God;
[5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power
thereof: from such turn away.
[6]
For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women
laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
[7] Ever learning, and never able to come to the
knowledge of the truth.
[8]
Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth:
men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
[9] But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest
unto all men, as theirs also was.
[10] But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose,
faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
[11] Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at
Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured:
but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
[12] Yea, and all that will live godly in Messiah Yeshua shall suffer
persecution.
[13] But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and
being deceived.
[14]
But continue thou in the things which thou hast
learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
[15]
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to
make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Messiah Yeshua.
[16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for
doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
[17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all
good works.
2Tim.4 [5] But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist,
make full proof of thy ministry.
Heb.6 [12] … be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
[13] For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no
greater, he sware by himself,
[14] Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply
thee.
[15] And so, after he had patiently endured, he
obtained the promise.
Heb.11
[24]
By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of
Pharaoh's daughter;
[25] Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy
the pleasures of sin for a season;
[26] Esteeming the reproach of Messiah greater riches than the treasures in
Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
[27] By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
Heb.12
[1] Wherefore seeing we also are
compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every
weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience
the race that is set before us,
[2] Looking unto Yeshua the author and finisher of our faith; who for the
joy that was set before him endured the cross,
despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
[3] For consider him that endured such
contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint
in your minds.
[4] Ye have not yet resisted
unto blood, striving against sin.
[5] And ye have forgotten the
exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children,
My son, despise not thou the
chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
[6] For whom the Lord loveth he
chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
[7] If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what
son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
[8] But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are
partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
[9] Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we
gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father
of spirits, and live?
[10] For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but
he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
[11] Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous:
nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto
them which are exercised thereby.
[12] Wherefore lift up the hands
which hang down, and the feeble knees;
[13] And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be
turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
[14] Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall
see the Lord:
[15] Looking diligently lest any
man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of
bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
[16] Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as
Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
[17] For ye know how that
afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he
found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
[18] For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that
burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
[19] And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice
they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
[20] (For they could not endure that which
was commanded, And if so much as a beast
touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
[21] And so terrible was the sight, that Moses
said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)
[29] For our God is a
consuming fire.
Jas.1 [12] Blessed is the man that
endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the
crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
[13] Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God
cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
[14] But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust,
and enticed.
[15] Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when
it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Jas.5 [10] Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the
name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction,
and of patience.
[11] Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that
the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
1Pet.2 [19] For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
[20] For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye
shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it
patiently, this is acceptable with God.
[21]
For even hereunto were ye called: because Messiah also
suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
[22]
Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
[23] Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he
threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
[24]
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead
to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

One last note on - Behold the Lamb of God!
Not goat of God
Exod.12
[1] And the Yehovah
spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
[2] This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be
the first month of the year to you.
[3] Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of
this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
[4] And if the
household be too little for the lamb, let
him and his neighbour next unto his house take it
(the lamb) according to the number of the souls; every man according
to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.
[5] Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the
first year: ye shall take it (the lamb) out
from the sheep, or from the goats:
[6] And ye
shall keep it (the
lamb) up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole
assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it
(the lamb) in the evening.
[7] And they
shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper
door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it
(the lamb).
[8] And they
shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and
with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
[9] Eat not of it (the lamb) raw,
nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and
with the purtenance thereof.
[10] And ye shall let nothing of it (the
lamb) remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it (the lamb) until the morning ye shall burn with
fire.
[11] And thus
shall ye eat it (the lamb); with your loins girded, your shoes on
your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it (the lamb) in haste: it is the Yehovah's passover.
[12] For I
will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the
firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of
Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Yehovah.
[13] And the blood (of the
lamb) shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and
when I see the blood (of the lamb), I
will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I
smite the land of Egypt.
[14] And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it
a feast to the Yehovah throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by
an ordinance forever.
[21] Then Moses called for all the elders of
Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a
lamb according to your families, and kill the
passover.
John 1[29] The next day John seeth Yeshua coming unto him,
and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
[36]
And looking upon Yeshua as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!
Rev.7 [14] And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he
said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed
their robes, and made them white in the blood of the
Lamb.
Rev.12 [11] And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their
testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
